If I didn't mention it, Dante was sixteen when he met Imara, he is seventeen now.

Demons cannot be innately evil, Kyra and Drake and Cole proved that ten times over each.

Dante is based at least in part by Drake and The Evil Enchantress and The Evil Witch from the Fairytales.

We will get maybe five chapters, including this one, before he becomes a part of the main story... it will span about a year before he does, all of season five.

It was an easy thing to find and kill the Fairy Queen.

Kyra took Dante to the surface and he walked into a simple road, uttering a simple spell. "Let be seen what is in between, crossing on over through this middle space into the Enchanted Place." The magic of the tween place naturally shifted through his spell and he stumbled into the realm of the Fairies, a forest glade where he was greeted by two tiny ugly-looking creatures in blue rags. "Hey there, so you are the ones that called for my help?"

The trolls nodded and the leader stepped forward. "We need you to kill Thistle, the new queen of the Fairies. She is like her parents, banning us for being ugly. The Charmed ones intervened before, they slaughtered our old leader, jumping into a conflict not their own. If we had asked, they would have denied us for being ugly by their standards. Will you?"

"Will you provide me with Fairy dust and whatever else I might need in the near future?"

"We can promise that, yes."

" Then yes, I will help you. I don't care for looks. I judge by value and Fairies don't do anything but cause mischief."

"Precisely what Kyra said you say. The Queen looks like a child, all fairies do, but do not be fooled for they are not children." The trolls smiled. "Serve us in this and you will walk lightly in the Tween places."

"Lovely, where is the Queen I am here to kill?" He turned where the Trolls were pointing, and saw a massive tree glimmering with lights not far from him. "Oh there... well, wish me luck. Listen for my whistle to know when you are to charge the kingdom." Tightening his grip on his staff, he closed his eyes. "Twist the world and bend the light. Mask me now, from fairy sight." Clicking his staff twice, he felt a veil of magic wrap around him until he was entirely invisible.

Hurrying along, he marched silently up to the tree, climbing it carefully until he saw an opening with what looked like a little girl with a crown of flowers on her head. He sensed greater power in her, a higher spark than the others. Sighing internally, he reached in and grabbed her, squeezing tight to knock her out. Hopping down, just as the other Fairies started to freak out.

He whistled loudly and in moments, dozens of trolls swarmed the tree. In about ten minutes, all of the weak fairies were kidnapped and locked in cages. It was actually a little funny for Dante.

"That was easy." Laughing a little, he carried Thistle to the Trolls the were employing him. Kneeling he held out his fist. "Should I kill her or do you want to eat her?"

The Trolls cackled, the Leader speaking for his people. "Kill her and we will eat her, then you will have your payments."

Squeezing hard, he felt a snap and the life of Thistle was at an end. He handed her over to the trolls, who screeched in excitement. "There, enjoy boys."

The Trolls carried her limp corpse away in that moment, and after a few more he was handed a pouch.

"This is filled with Fairy dust, it will last you for a while. We will provide you with a new pouch for each new moon, through Kyra. We will also provide you with Fairy wings, when we can. If they do not accept their new masters, their wings will be torn from their backs."

"Lovely, well boys, call Kyra if you need me. Adios."

Turning he hurried out to a road made in the woods. "Take me back, take me home. No longer do I wish to roam. Out of this tween place, back to my right space." Magic surged around him, silvery blue with the mark of a wizard, and before he knew it he fell back to Earth, right by a very smug Kyra.

"That was easy."

"Well, I am like a few hundred times bigger than a Fairy so... yeah."

Laughing, Kyra grabbed his arm and they shimmered away, back to the Underworld, to his home cave. "So, you have Fairy dust, a hard to get ingredient. What do you plan on using for?"

He smiled. "Fairy magic is pure innocence, freedom from consequence or understanding. It might be one of the things needed to make an antidote to Darklighter toxin... speaking of, who asked for that?"

Kyra went cold serious. "An Elder, Sandra. She is rather prominent among the Elders, she is willing to smudge the rules to find a cure for that poison, it has cost far too many Whitelighters over the years."

"I figured it was a whitelighter or an Elder... I may have no love for them but if they are willing to pay me, I will make it... but only a single dose at a time. They have to pay for each use, I will not make it widely known, that will allow me some power against the forces of good."

"So devious, and always thinking, Imara would be proud."

"Always a good thing... keep me posted, Kyra."

"Oh I will, making you powerful and keeping you alive is in my best interest."

"I am all too aware of that..."

Kyra jumped up. "Oh, did you know the Sea Hag found another Mermaid, she only surfaces once in a century, so you know someone big must have pushed her out."

"Wow, the Sea Hag, even Imara respected her skills in the craft... she must be something fierce."

"Oh she is, she is practically the original Faustian Deal maker. She is tremendously powerful a witch, capable of turning entire cities into one giant storm. Even the Source kept himself away from her, her powers were great enough that she would have left him with real scars."

"Nice... wonder what pushed her out so much that she was noticed?"

"Not a clue, but we'll see. A being that powerful, the Charmed ones will be all over her without even thinking. Never mind that the mermaid in question literally made a deal with her, they won't think twice about killing the Evil Sea hag and saving the poor mermaid who literally sold her immortality..."

" Why does anyone trust them?"

"Prophecy and being legacies of a powerful line... nepotism is a real force among the lines of good."

He shuddered. "Makes me glad to be a Wizard, free of that crap. I like making it on my own merit, without reliance on others... well other than my awesome allies, you and Imara. But I still had to prove my worth, you didn't just empower me. "

"No, we really did not."

Chapter end, tell me what you think in the reviews.

This was really, really fun to write.
