"James come on," Thyra leads James towards her bedroom.
"Thyra darling there is a whole party in your name downstairs. Why not go there," James offers as they reach her room.
"But it's my birthday I chose what I want to do," Thyra states as she goes to her bed James just standing next to her, "Come on love."
"You are very beautiful Thyra," James compliments.
"Yes, Yes. I'm wonderful. If we are not going to have sex and least lay with me." James sighs and gets into the bed laying down next to Thyra who grabs his hand.
"Why are you being so kind today Thyra?"
"My runes and rune sticks said today something good was going to happen," Thyra explains with a smile on her face. James laughed and they just layed there holding hands.
"Lady Thyra? Lord Elijah has summoned for you to join the party," A servant knocks on the door. Thyra sighs and rubs her face.
"Alright! Leave," Thyra shouts at the door as she and James get out of the bed. Thyra listiens until she decides that the servant is far off.
"What do you think Elijah wants?" James asks.
"I have no idea."

Thyra/Alaric was standing at the door with Ivan and Maddox.
"We'll be back as soon as we can," Maddox reasures Thyra/Alaric.
"Не беспокойся, босс," Ivan smiles.
"Yes, do hurry. I'm anxious to get out of this body. And if you guys get hung up, call me. You know how impatient I get," Thyra/Alaric let Maddox and Ivan leave before turning to Katerina.
"Where are they going?" Katerina asks as she holds out a cup of coffee to Thyra/Alaric who walks over to her and takes it.
"To retrieve me. So I can get out of this bad hair-do," Thyra/Alaric smiles reaching up to her hair.
"Are you sure that's a good idea, Klaus?" Katerina asks.
"добре, пълнолунието е с нас," Thyra/Alaric shrugs. Thyra/Alaric takes out the moonstone out of her pocket and places it on the table. "I've potentially killed the witch, I have the moon stone, and the doppelganger is waiting in the wings. Ohh, I am ready to break this curse," Thyra/Alaric smiles.
"And why would you do that here? There's so many people that would try to stop you," Katerina asks, confused.
"Because I have to. It's the birthplace of the doppelganger," Thyra/Alaric sighed.
"I didn't realize that was a requirement."
"Well, how could you? You betrayed me and killed James then fled England before I could give you the details Kateria. But I did find your birthplace and I slaughtered your family. You killed the one I loved so I killed the ones you loved. So I guess we're cool. Let's us hope that Elena isn't as stupid as you were," Thyra/Alaric rant.
"She won't run. She'll die before she lets anyone that she loves get hurt," Katerina reassures.
"And that's exactly what I'm counting on." She comples Katerina, "You can't leave until I tell you." Thyra/Alaric step out of the apartment.
—-
"He's here," Elena tells Elijah as they sit in her car.
"Thyra is here?"
"Who is Thyra?"
"My sister who masquerades as Klaus. While I might not agree with Thyra, she is right about some things. She would have gotten nowhere as herself," Elijah explains to a shocked Elena.
"Well, Thyra has taken over Alaric's body."
"Of course she has. One of her favorite tricks," Elijah sighs.
"Well, what are her other tricks? What is she going to do next? You're the only one who knows her."
"Yes, I do," Elijah sighs.

So where is this mysterious host? I've heard so much about?" Katerina inquires.
"Fashionably late. She likes to make an entrance," Elijah smiles. Elijah stops he could hear Thyra and James coming down the stairs. "Here she is." Katerina looks around but can't find her. Finally, Thyra and James come into view and walk up to Elijah. "Katerina, may I introduce you to Lady Klaus." Katerina curtsies to Thyra who takes Katerina's hand and kisses it.
"Klaus is my pen name, call me Thyra," Thyra introduces herself. "This is James, my dearest friend." James bows to Katerina.

Elena and Elijah were sitting in the lockwood living room.
"So I assume that the Martin witches are no longer with us," Elijah offers.
"No. I'm sorry," Elena apologizes.
"And Katerina? She would have been released from my compulsion when I died."
"Thyra took her. We think she may be dead," Elena states.
"I doubt that. Not Thyra's style. Death would be too easy for her after what she did." Elijah's mind wandered to the thought of James.
"I don't understand. You say that you want Thyra dead, but you still made Katerina pay for betraying her."
"I have my own reasons for wanting Katerina to pay. There was a time… I'd have done anything for Thyra."

England 1492
"From where have you come, Katerina?" Thyra asks.
"I'm new to town, my lady," Katerina answers. Elijah looks at Thyra with a smile.
"Katerina is from Bulgaria," Elijah informs Thyra.
"здравей, Катерина," Thyra greets in Katerina's native language.
Katerina laughs in delight. "Very good," Katerina compliments.
Thyra looks over to her brother, "Do you mind, brother? James and I would like to have a moment alone with Katerina."
"Not at all. Happy birthday sister."
—-
"Yes, Thyra is my sister," Elijah reveals to a shocked Elena.
"I heard that. I'm still processing."
"Yes, I'm a little behind on the times, but I believe the term you're searching for is 'O.M.G'."
—-
Stefan knocks on the door of the Gilbert house. Not even a second later Jenna opens the door. "Hey, Jenna. Thank you so much for not going to the grill."
"Um, Stefan…"
"No, listen. I can explain." Jenna looks over Stefan's shoulder making him turn. Thyra/Alaric standing feet away from Stefan.
"Hi, Stefan. How's it going?"
Jenna lets Stefan and Thyra/Alaric into the house and leads them to the kitchen. Thyra/Alaric moves around the island looking around the cupboards ignoring the looks from Jenna and Stefan. "How about I make dinner?" Thyra/Alaric offers.
—-
"There's a whole family of Originals?" Elena asks, shocked at the revelation.
"My father was a wealthy land owner in a village in Eastern Europe. Our mother bore seven children," Elijah explains.
"So your parents were human?" Elena asks, confused.
"Our whole family was. Our origin as vampires is a very long story. Elena. Just know… We're the oldest vampires in the world. We are the Original family, and from us all vampires were created,"
"Right, but Thyra is your sister. And you want her dead?"
"I need some air. I'm still feeling a tad… dead. Come." Elijah stands up and Elena follows.
—-
Thyra/Alaric was preparing Beef Stroganoff for Jenna and Stefan. "You know, I find chopping… calming. The feel of the blade in my hand, maybe." Thyra/Alaric offers after an abnormal amount of silence.
"I'm still waiting for someone to tell me what the hell's going on," Jenna exclaims.
"Well, would you like to tell her, Stefan, or should I?" Thyra/Alaric asks, looking towards Stefan.
"Tell me what?" Jenna demands.
"Do you believe in Vampires?" Thyra/Alaric looks at Jenna for a reaction. "Jenna. No?" Thyra/Alaric laugh at Jenna. "Well, who does, right? But believe it or not, they do have a place in our history. And as a history teacher, I find them fascinating."
"Why are we talking about this?" Jenna is very confused and shocked.
"Well, you've been angry with me for keeping secrets, and this is one of my secrets. I'm obsessed with vampires. There, I said it." Thyra/Alaric laughs again at Jenna.
"Are you joking?"
"Not at all. How about you, Stefan? Are you a fan of vampires?" Thyra/Alaric asks, turning to Stefan.
"In interature. Bram Stoker. It's dense, but I appreciate it," Stefan answers.
"Hmm. Did you know that vampires are the oldest creatures of the night? Except for werewolves, of course."
"Werewolves. Werewolves. Now I know you're joking."
"You know, I've read that there's an Aztec curse on both species that keeps werewolves slaves to the moon and vampires bound to the sun. Isn't that right Stefan? You know, they say these creatures would do anything to have this curse broken and that they don't care who they had to kill to do it." Thyra/Alaric looks towards Jenna who is alarmed.
—-
Elena and Elijah were walking outside of the Lockwood mansion. "So as you've seen, nothing can kill an Original. Not Sun, not fire, not even a werewolf bite. Only the wood from one tree. A tree my family made sure burned," Elijah explains as they walk down a set of stairs and onto the grass.
"That's where the white ash for the dagger comes from?"
"Yes. The witches won't allow anything truly immortal to walk the earth. Every creature needs to have a weakness in order to maintain the balance," Elijah further explains supernatural lore.
"So the sun can't kill an Original. Why is Thyra so obsessed with breaking the sun and moon curse?" Elena asks curiously.
"Right. The curse of the sun and moon. It's all so… biblical-sounding, don't you think?" Elijah laughs.

Thrya and James were sitting in their bedroom next to the fire. Elijah walks into the room holding a parchment. Elijah passes the parchment to Thyra. "Look a Roman parchment."
"I remember etching this scroll. Well, I was quite blistered from a drink," Thyra studies the scroll passing it to James after.
"Your finest work remains your Aztec drawings," Elijah compliments.
"Not the African cravings? 'Cause I was quite proud of those," Thyra states.
"The Aztec. Who can resist a Shaman?" Elijah questions.
Thyra laughs, "Yes, Yes. Brother."
—-
"I don't understand. So Thyra drew the Aztec sketches about the curse?" Elena asks, confused.
"Roman scrolls, African tribal etchings, and any other culture or continent we felt like planting in it," Elijah lists.
"But why?"
"Easiest way to discover the existence of a doppelganger or to get your hands on some long, lost moonstone is to have every single member of two warring species on the lookout."
"So it's not Aztec at all?" Elena asks, really confused from the vague information Elijah is giving her.
"The curse of the sun and moon… is fake. It doesn't exist," Elijah starts walking away back towards the front of the house.
"What!" Elena exclaims running to catch up with Elijah.
—-
Thyra/Alaric, Jenna and Stefan were eating the Beef Stroganoff Thyra/Alaric prepared. "Oh, I know this all sounds crazy, but… Vampires are real. Would you care for some more wine?" Thyra/Alaric offers as she pours more wine into her own glass.
"Get out." Jenna states standing up.
"Excuse me?" Thyra/Alaric asks offended.
"I don't know what it is you're trying to do or why you're saying these things, but…"Jenna rattles off.
"Jenna…" Thyra/Alaric starts.
"I said get out!" Jenna shouts at Thyra/Alaric. Stefan stands up.
"You heard her."
"I'm afraid I don't want to," Thyra/Alaric also stand up.
"Fine! I'll go!" Jenna shouts storming into the kitchen. Thyra/Alaric follows and picks up a knife.
"You're not going anywhere." Thyra/Alaric points the knife at Jenna. Stefan grabs Thyra/Alaric and pushes her against the wall taking the knife out of Thyra/Alaric's hand and puts it to her throat.
"Stefan!" Jenna shouts.
"Jenna, get out of here now!" Stefan commands.
"You can't kill me, Stefan," Thyra/Alaric mocks.
"Watch me," Stefan threatens.
"Stefan!" Jenna shouts panicked.
"I may not have a witch protecting me today, but if you kill this body, what's to stop me from choosing Jenna as my next one?" Thyra/Alaric threatens.
"Jenna, go," Stefan commands.
"But you're…you."
Stefan looks over to Jenna transforming into his vampire face, "I said go!" Jenna panics and runs out of the house.
"Kill me. Just remind Elena how easy it will be for me to get my revenge if she tries to stop me from breaking this curse," Thyra/Alaric threatens. Stefan punches her to the ground kicking Thyra/Alaic in the stomach for good measure before dropping the knife and leaving the house.
—-
"Thyra and I faked the sun and moon curse dating back over a thousand years," Elijah reveals.
"But if there's no curse…" Elena rambles.
"There's a curse. Just not that one. The real one is much worse. It's a curse placed on Thyra."
"What are you talking about?"
"Thyra has been trying to break it for the last thousand years. And you are her only hope." Elena's phone starts buzzing in Elijah's jacket pocket.
"What is this curse?" Elena asks, ignoring the phone ringing.
"Your phone will not stop its incessant buzzing. Answer it, please." Elijah takes the phone out of his pocket and passes it back to Elena.
"Stefan…What's wrong? No. No, no, no, no. Okay, I'll be right there." Elena hangs up the phone and lots up to Elijah.
"Thyra went after Jenna. I have to go get here," Elena explains to Elijah even though he heard everything.
"I'm afraid that wasn't part of today's arrangement," Elijah denies.
"She's my family, Elijah. I have to. I'll be back. You have my word," Elena promises.
"That doesn't mean anything to me until you live up to it," Elijah tells her but doesn't stop her from leaving.
"Thank you." Elena turns and runs to her car.

England 1492
Thyra and James spent the day in town. Thyra had gotten into a fight with some drunk bastard at the tavern so she compelled him into an empty room and killed him. Her dress was now stained with blood. "Enjoyable?" James asks as he looks down at her dress.
"It was ok but you're much more Enjoyable," Thyra laughs as they start to walk back to the castle.
"Thyra what are you going to do with Katerina?" James asks.
"I'm going to break my curse," Thyra states simply.
"And what happens to me? Am I your werewolf for breaking the curse?" James questions.
"You are not my werewolf James." Thyra stops walking to look at James. "I could never kill you."
"I believe you Thyra but where are you going to find another werewolf?" The pair resume walking.
"I have my ways James." They reach the castle gardens and find Katerina and Elijah sitting on a bench talking.
"What do we interrupt?" Thyra asks. The two turn to see Thyra and James.
"They returned," Elijah states. Elijah looks at Thyra's dress and frowns at the blood on it. "Long night?"
"What has happened?" Katerina asks worried.
"The wrong villager picked a fight at the tavern," Thyra states. "Katerina I'm sorry I missed the day, how about dinner?" Katerina smiles and stands up from the bench. Thyra and Katerina leave for the castle leaving Elijah and James behind.

Katerina was blaring music when Thyra/Alaric returned. "You mind turning that down." Katerina sighs but grabs the sateros remote and turns down the music.
"Why so glum?" Katerina asks.
"Well, this body has outlived its usefulness," Thyra states.
"Do you want a drink?" Katerina offers an open bottle of bourbon on the coffee table.
"No Katerina, I don't want a drink."
"Come on. It might loosen you up." Katerina offers Thyra/Alaric the bottle again, this time she takes the bottle and throws it against the wall.
Thyra/Alaric compels Katerina, "What I want is for you to sit down and shut up." Katerina sits back down on the couch the same moment Ivan and Maddox come back. "Ivan, Maddox. What took you so long?"
"You've got a lot of luggage," Maddox shrugs.
"Thyra you have a problem. So many things," Ivan adds with a laugh. Two men enter the apartment carrying boxes and a woman enters with them.
"Greta. Finally."
"Hello, love. Nice body. You ready to get out of it?" Greta proposes. The two men enter again carrying a big wooden crate.
"You know it." Thyra states.
—-
"Welcome back," Elijah greets as Elena walks into the living room of the lockwood mansion.
"Tell me. What is Thyra's curse?" Elena demands.
"Please." Elijah offers Elena a seat next to him.
"My family was quite close, but Thyra and my father did not get on too well. When we became vampires, we discovered the truth. Thyra was not my father's daughter. My mother had been unfaithful many years before. This was her darkest secret. Thyra is from a different bloodline. Of course, when my father discovered this, he hunted down and he killed my mother's lover and his entire family. Not realizing, of course, that he was igniting a war between species that rages until this day," Elijah explains to Elena.
"A war between the species?" Elena asks, confused.
"The Vampires… and the Werewolves," Elijah reveals.
"So Thyra's real father was from a werewolf bloodline? What does that make Thyra? A werewolf? Or a Vampire?"
"She's both. A hybrid would be deadlier than any Vampire or Werewolf. Nature would not stand for such an imbalance in power. Therefore the witches, the servants of nature, saw to it that my sister's werewolf side would become dormant."
"That's the curse Thyra wants to break?"
"She wants to trigger that part of her that's a werewolf. If allowed, Thyra would sire her own bloodline. She'd build her own race. Endangering not just Vampires, but everyone," Elijah warns.
"But you helped her."
"I helped her because I loved her. That's changed, now she must die," Elijah states.
"We have the dagger now. We can stop her."
"When a werewolf is wounded by silver, it heals. An Original can't be killed by anything but white oak ash tree on a silver dagger. So you see the conundrum. The dagger doesn't work."
"What, are you saying Thyra can't be killed?" Elena asks, confused.
"There's only one way to kill any supernatural species…at the hands of the servants of nature themselves." Elijah reasons.
"A witch. If they can channel that much power. But it would kill them."
"The curse must be broken during the full moon. When Thyra is in transition. That's when she'll be most vulnerable. A witch with enough power… can kill Thyra." Elijah explains.
"What if I told you that I know a witch that could channel that much power?" Elena offers thinking about Bonnie.
"Then I would tell you there's one more thing that you should know."

England 1492
Thyra and James were in Thyra's study sitting by the fireplace when Elijah enters. "The full moon is tomorrow brother. After all these centuries, it is finally time." Thyra smiles.
"I have been to the witches. They believe they found a way to spare the doppelgänger," Elijah tells his sister.
"What does it matter if she lives or not? She's a means to an end that is all," Thyra scoffs.
"What, she should die for your gain?" Elijah asks.
"She is human. Her life means nothing," Thyra states.
"I beg you to consider this," Elijah pleads.
"Are you foolish as to care for her?" Thyra asks. Thyra stands up from her chair and moves closer to Elijah.
"Of course not," Elijah lies. Thyra moves even closer to Elijah.
"Love is a vampire's greatest weakness, and we are not weak, Elijah. We do not feel, and we do not care," Thyra states.
"We did once," Elijah counters.
"Too many lifetimes ago to matter. Tell the witches not to bother. The sacrifice will happen as planned," Thyra continues. Elijah leaves and Thyra turns back to James.
"What about me Thyra? Do you care about me? Am I your weakness?" James questions.
—-
"You found a way to save the life of the doppelgänger?" Elena asks, confused.
"Yes, Elena. I did. But unfortunately, Katerina took matters into her own hands first. I believe you already know how that played out," Elijah explains.
"You cared about her, didn't you?" Elena asks softly.
Elijah stands up for his chair. "It's a common mistake, I'm told. And it's one I won't make again.

England 1492
Thyra storms into Elijah's study furious; it looked like she was crying. "What have you done?" Thyra demands.
"I don't understand," Elijah states confused.
"Katerina has gone. She's fled and she killed James," Thyra states, almost shouting.
"No," Elijah denies.
"What did you tell her?" Thyra demands.
"I told her nothing," Elijah tries to reassures but it does not stop Thyra's anger. Thyra grabs Elijah and pushes him against a wall.
"Do not lie to me!" Thyra shouts at him, her face transforming into her vampire face.
"I will find her. You have my word," Elijah promises.
"If you do not, I give you my word you will be dead for Katerina and James," Thyra promises.

Greta, Maddox and Ivan were on their knees preparing for the spell to transfer Thyra back into her body. Thyra/Alaric was standing, her head bowed and eyes closed. "Phasmatos Tribum, Nas Ex Veras, Uenes Phasmatos Et Sonos. Ex Tutam Exum Lamia Matus." The three witches chant.
Suddenly Alaric's eyes open. "Elena?" He asks before falling over. Ivan stands up and opens the box Thyra's body is in.
"Now that's more like it," Thyra smiles looking around the room.
