I am so sorry guys, I'm in the middle of redecorating and I lost all my notes on Gallifrey so I couldn't update, until the other day I was ready to write a quick authors note until I was finished, I've lost all the notes to one of my original stories too everything is boxed up luckily I found these in a pile of docs.

So I hope you enjoy only 2/3 chapters left exciting

Rose realised somewhere during her first week on Gallifrey that she is supposed to be here, she can't leave yet, something is coming for her people, and she must protect them.

Day turn into weeks as rose falls deeper into a pattern, she spends her days with the renegades, she might not be at full power, but she knows these people are important to her future, and right now they need all the help they can get to understand that the council cannot control them easily.

Rose decides early on that she adores Ushas she is so intelligent and quite brilliant really; she rivals the doctor with her intelligence, the only thing that seems to stop her is Mortimus. Rose looks forward to her mornings learning circular Gallifreyan with Ushas. Recently Ushas has confided in Rose of her feelings for Mortimus, not that she would ever act on them, she is a lady of science first and foremost, she confides to Rose over tea one morning. Nothing Rose can say will get her to open up to him.

For the most part she won't actively seek Mortimus out, he would rather be alone, but time and time again he has joined Ushas for their morning lessons. She tries to engage him but she's sure he is only there for Ushas company rather than hers any other deity would be offended.

Just before lunch she would pop in to visit with Drax, who much to his family's horror chooses to tinker with mechanics rather than get a proper job. He would rather the world underestimate him, Rose realises this the day he turns around and asks her if she is the Doctors wife, she almost swallows her tongue, with a cough to clear her throat Rose tells him she can't wait until he meets his wife, even if she won't be there to see it. She left him in a state of shock much to her amusement, however now he won't stop asking who he is to marry and how fast she can leave the planet so they can meet.

She would always lunch with Borusa, mostly to avoid the lord president and his Chancellor Delox, they drove her crazy mostly, and partly because she didn't want them realising, she wasn't at full power, who knows what they would do to her. Lunch with Borusa was always an adventure, sometimes he would take her on a stroll, reminding her of all the local flora and fauna of Gallifrey. Shockingly he would gossip a lot, about the academy and the council, they would truly laugh about the planet and its state. Sometimes he would meddle and invite the Doctor along, before wondering off leaving them alone to chat.

She tried her best to avoid Koschei, but inevitably where Theta went, he was sure to follow. Trust her husband to be best friends with a megalomaniacal. Though after their fourth run in even Rose had to admit that he was charming, if you choose to ignore the madness lurking underneath the pretty smile.

In the afternoons she would wander over to the academy to chat with the teachers, mostly the Corsair, the Doctor didn't talk much about Gallifrey or his past. But one person he would mention all the time was the Corsair, the man was the Doctors hero, the very man the Doctor based his life on, the one he wanted to become most like. Rose couldn't help but laugh comparing the two the Corsair looked and talked like a space pirate. Rose adored him; he was a breath of fresh air in the stuffy bell jar. Well all of the renegades were. Rose couldn't wait until she met them all in the future, excited to know that these people had a future.

It took a few months to organise, but she finally got her meeting with Magnus. She waits for him in a quaint little cafe just outside the centre of the citadel. She found the cafe on one of her excursions with Ushas, the place is almost homely for Time Lord design, Decorated with flowers and pretty lights. The owner of the Cafe Ollieru introduced Rose to moonlight Blossom tea, known for its calming qualities. Ollieru was beside herself when she realised, she had a goddess eating in her cafe, even more so when Rose invited her to join them for a chat. she became a true friend to Rose in a place friends were had to come by.

She sits chatting with Ollieru about her new batch of tarts made with magenta fruits, offering Rose a sample as Magnus walks in.

Rose stands to receive him, holding out both her hands to take him, "You are a very hard man to catch War chief." She releases his hands returning to her seat as he gives Ollieru his order. She smiles across the table as he sits "You owe me a story."

He reclines in his chair a thoughtful expression on his face. "My lady it is not a story for the faint hearted,"

"Faint hearted, the only thing in this bell jar that makes me faith hearted is the state of your council. Why are you not the president? It's a waste of talent if you ask me."

He shakes his head, waiting until after Ollieru drops of his drink and leaves before replying.

"Politics is not something I enjoy; I am a man of action, my lady. I can do more out here."

Rose nods smiling, as if he has passed a test. "Please call me Rose, or Arkytior, that is what the recent graduates have taken to calling me,"

"Arkytior, my lady?" he interrupts her confused.

"It is the closes translation to my name," Rose gestures to the flowers growing up the trellis near the window, "I was named after a flower, that is the closest in likeness to the one I was named after. And yes, I regret telling them that."

They sit and chat for hours as he regales her with the tale of Arkadia, she tells him how proud she is of his accomplishments, and all he has done for this planet.

Again guys I'm really sorry this took so long, and if it makes you feel any better my brother keeps harassing me to update this for ages.
