Prompt #8: Describe a character in exactly 100 words, without naming them.

Disclaimer: the character is not my own creation; he belongs to Narnia and C.S. Lewis.

Also, I would like to thank Blueradon, previously known as Pacifia, for betaing this one. :)

Awake at day; asleep at night.
Asleep: a vile ophidian.
Awake: man of obsidian.
My Lady's knight.
I think.

No.
Asleep at day; awake at night.
Trapped?

Asleep: a mindless one.
Awake: a king's lost son.
Yes.

Free...

Asleep again.

Trapped, awake, confused.

Asleep?
Not yet.
Free…

Asleep again.

Awake at day; asleep at night.
Asleep: a slithering fright.
Awake: the silent knight.
My Lady's knight.
No.

Please?

Asleep at day; awake at night.
Yes.
Set me free…

Asleep at day; awake at night.

I adjure you-
set me free.

Asleep at day; awake at night.

By the Lion-

Free.

So techniquly I didn't write this today. The poem is part of a collection that I had already written and posted titled Who Am I? and I couldn't decide whether to use this one or one about everyone's favorite Marshwiggle. *Oops* I suppose now you know who it isn't! :)

Hopefully you were able to guess which character it is, and if you couldn't, I'll post the answer in the Author's Note of my next chapter. I hope you enjoyed!
