(Third Person Point of View)
Alexander Cain rounded on the Young Air Bender and said with an angry snarl, "I had it under control!" He took a few deep breaths before saying more calmly, "Aang, you are a child, a peaceful monk. I do not care that you are the Avatar. You are only a child… an inexperienced child." Alex placed a hand on Aang's shoulder and said, "But you have room to grow."
Aang said softly, looking down on his feet, "I was just trying to help… I didn't mean for any of that to happen."
Alexander sighed softly and said, "Come on, let's say good bye to the Village, and then we can travel to the North Pole where we can find you a true Water Bending Master to train you." He removed his hand from the Young Avatar's shoulder and began to walk towards where he sensed where the Villagers were hiding.
A few minutes later, Sokka said excitedly, "That was so manly!"
Alex rolled his eyes and said, "I was just doing the right thing. You and your Village have been nothing but kind to me. It was the least I could do." He smiled and punched Sokka on the shoulder playfully as he said, "Come on, let's eat one last meal as a Village before I head out to the North Pole with the Avatar."
Sokka looked down and asked softly, "You really are going to leave us?"
He sighed softly and replied to the young warrior, "I am sorry, Sokka, but he needs more help now… though if you want, I think we can take Katara with us. There she can learn how to properly Water Bend."
He pondered about it for a few seconds before saying, "I will have to talk with Gran-Gran about that."
Alexander nodded his head and said, "Very well, let's get to going."
Several minutes later, the whole Village was making dinner for each other in celebration.
Alex sighed softly as he stood up after everyone was seated, "Thank you for all of the kindness you have shown me. I wish I could stay longer, but the Avatar has returned. However, he needs some one or some people to travel with him. He is barely twelve years old, not yet even a teen." He paused and let the words sink in before saying, "Because of that, I have volunteered to go with him. I will help train and protect him as we bring Balance to the World together."
Katara stood up and stated firmly, "I am going with you!"
All eyes landed on her, making her flush with embarrassment, but she stood her ground.
Alexander nodded his head and said, "Okay, anyone else? If not, we leave tomorrow at Dawn."
Sokka jumped up and said, "If my sister is going, then so am I!"
Alex smirked and said, "Very well. You two, both of you, need to rest up and eat your fill now. After that, I will gather the supplies for the trip. If we ration it, we ought to make it to some town of sorts where we can trade fur and other goods for stuff we need."
Sokka did not waste any time as he began to chow down, eating as much as fast as he could.
Gran-Gran smacked him on the side of the head, causing him to drop his fried fish. Sokka pouted and whined as he said, "Hheeyy."
Gran-Gran huffed and rolled her eyes as she hobbled off.
Alexander sighed as he began to pack up some supplies and different types of weapons, and other plausible merchandise.
Aang approached him and said softly to Alex, "Mr. Cain, thank you for helping me."
He sighed and turned around, "Aang, you are welcome. I suggest you get some sleep. We need to travel as fast and as far as we can. You are welcome for the help."
Aang hugged the Blessed Champion before the Young Air Bender darted off.
Alexander rolled his eyes and said, "Whatever, kid, just get some sleep, and we will get you on a training regimen."
Alexander Cain began to hum to himself as he wrapped up packing and planning what would be the first bit of the trip. He just hoped that things went more smoothly in World than it did in his old World. If not, then well… let's just say he has more than a few aces up his sleeves.

(Time Skip: Pre-Dawn, the Next Day)
The Next Day, Alexander Cain woke up everyone in their little group, starting with Sokka, then Katara, then Aang, and Sokka, again actually getting him up that time.
Gran-Gran was waiting for them near the edge of the Village. She said to her grandchildren, "Look after each other, stay out of trouble, and know that I love you." The elder of the Village turned to Alex and said to him, "Please look after my grandchildren, keep them safe."
He sighed and nodded his head as he said, "Very well. You have my word. I will do what I can to keep them safe and alive. Though I can't always be there."
Gran-Gran smiled warmly and told him, "That is all I can ask. Thank you, Alexander Cain."
He nodded his head once and climbed up the giant, white, fluffy Sky Bison. Alex settled down in the saddle as the rest finished up saying their good byes.
Aang jumped onto the massive six-legged beast's head and then said to it, "Appa, yip yip!"
With a groan, the colossal animal jumped and began to fly in the sky.
Sokka and Katara rushed to the sides of the saddle to look over the edge. They looked in awe as the South Pole Village seemed to shrink the further they flew into the sky.
Alexander chuckled softly as he looked at the two young people, as he asked, "First time flying, eh?"
Sokka said dryly, still looking over the edge, "No, duh, this is the first time we are leaving the South Pole!"
Alex rolled his eyes as he covered his face in the furs as he said, "Let me know when we land. I am going to take a small nap." He closed his eyes and relaxed, feeling his Father's (Zeus's) domain around him. He relaxed, knowing that he would be safe for the time being.
Katara asked him, "Have you ever flown before, Alexander?"
The said person sighed as he sat up and uncovered his face as he said, "I will not lie to you. Yes, I have flown before. I was in my youth when I learned the clouds were made out of water. So I turned the clouds into ice and walked out on it. I then free-fell off the mountain and landed in the Ocean." Alex smiled slightly as he said, "It was fun."
Sokka looked at him and exclaimed, "You are crazy!"
Alex smirked and said, "I think we all are a little crazy." He shook his head, amused as he said, "When we get to land, I want to train you more with the Spear."
Sokka's eyes lit up as he asked him, "Really?!"
With a slight smirk, Alexander nodded and said, "Yeah, for one, you need it to get better, and for two, I want you able to protect yourself and your sister if I am unable to do so." He nodded his head and said, "I also want to see what weapon works best for you besides your boomerang."
Sokka nodded his head, giddy as a school boy getting to go home for Christmas. He said excitedly, "Yes, yes, yes! Thank you, thank you, thank you!"
Alexander smirked and said darkly, "You will not be thanking me once training begins. Instead, you may be wishing for Death."
Sokka shook his head, not believing his own ears as he said, "No, I always wanted to be a hero, a manly man. I will do everything you ask."
Alex rolled his eyes and said, "We will see." His tone indicated that he did not believe what Sokka was saying.
Aang asked the group, "Do you mind if we stop at the Southern Air Temple?"
Alexander said to the young Air Bender, "Aang… you will only find pain there. I suggest that we head straight to the North Pole, with as few stops and breaks as we can manage."
Sokka said, "I agree with Alex. The sooner we get there, the better for the world."
Katara sighed and said, "I do not see what is wrong with going to the Southern Air Temple… so I agree with Aang."
Sokka sighed and said, "Great, two-two vote. Now we need a tie-breaker,"
Alexander sighed softly and said, "Fine, I will compromise with you, Aang. We will stop at the Air Temple, but after that, I will take the lead and tell you when we stop, unless Appa needs a break."
The Young Avatar beamed up the former Champion of the gods as he asked, "Really?!"
Alex sighed and said, "Yes, but if I regret it. I am blaming you."
Aang beamed and then said brightly, "Don't worry, you will not regret it!"
Alexander muttered softly to himself and said, "I think I am already regretting it."

(Time Skip: The Next Day)
The group flew most of the night and camped just beyond the Southern Air Temple. Alexander could feel the skeletons and the echoes of a past battle, even from where they camped. To say he was not very thrilled would be an understatement. However, the other three, especially the youngest, were far more optimistic.
Aang was talking excitedly about his home and how his father figure, Monk Gyatso.
Alexander sighed and placed a hand on the young Air Bender's shoulder, then told him softly, "Aang, Gyatso, is likely dead. It has been a hundred years." He let that sink in before saying, "Air Benders are either extremely rare or extinct. No one has seen an Air Bender in about a Hundred Years."
Aang shook his head and said in denial, "Air Benders can be elusive when they want to be."
Alex sighed and shook his head as he said, "I hope that you are right, for your sake Aang." Then, he dropped the subject, for the time being, knowing this was not time to fight that battle.
Sokka said, "So, Alexander, when are we going to train?"
He smirked and said, "Once we get to the Air Temple, we will have some time to spar."
"Yes!" Sokka exclaimed as he pumped his fists in excitement.
The former Champion of the gods chuckled softly, seeing Sokka's excitement, but it lifted his spirits seeing Sokka happy.
Aang asked, "Why do you want to learn how to fight?"
Alexander said, "It is better to be a warrior in a garden than a gardener in a war. What that means is, it is better to be safe than to be dead."
Sokka nodded his head and said, "And I want to become manly like for father."
Aang nodded his head once and then told them, "Okay, I guess that makes sense."
Katara looked at Alex and asked him, "So, Alexander, who taught you how to fight?"
All eyes were on him. Finally, he shrugged his shoulder and then said, "My Parents, siblings, cousins, and some friends."
Sokka grinned and said, "I bet you have a lot of experience!"
With a slight snort and a small smirk, Alexander said, amused, "I suppose you could say that." So little did the group know the full extent of his powers and abilities. Alexander Cain, the Campion of the gods, planned to keep it that way for as long as he possibly could.
The group flew on Appa the rest of the way to the Southern Air Temple in relative silence.

(Time Skip: A few Hours Later)
The group landed on the outskirts of the Southern Air Temple.
Aang pointed around at everything, telling the group everything about it. Though everything was in disarray, the plants were overgrown, and the building was beginning to crumble.
Alexander was on edge. He could sense that something was going to happen. But, whether it was good or bad, he could not tell.
Sokka asked, "Can we train now?"
Alex sighed and said, "I am a man of my word. I guess it could not hurt."
"Yay!" Sokka exclaimed as he got in a fighting stance,
Alexander asked, "Want to fight against a Bender or against a non-Bender?"
Sokka paused and thought about it before saying, "A non-Bender, please."
Alex nodded his head as he used a strand of water to grab two spears. He tossed one to Sokka as he said, "Attack me, attack me with everything you got."
Sokka paused before nodding his head as he charged in with a wild swing,
Alexander rolled his eyes and then stepped inside Sokka's guard and swept the legs out from under him. Alex said, "Sokka, it is a spear. Keep me at a distance. Stab at me with it."
Sokka said doubtfully, "I do not want to hurt you."
Alex sighed and said to the young teen, "Sokka, I have years of battle training and war. Besides, I can heal." He cut his palm on the whale bone spear, causing him to bleed. Then, he stuck his hand in the snow, and the snow healed him. Alexander said, "See, all better."
Sokka asked, "Could you heal me?""
Alexander sighed and said, "Yeah, I can. But it takes energy to heal others."
Sokka nodded his head and said, "Okay, can we try it again?"
Alex smirked and said, "Sure."
Sokka bent down and picked up the spear as he backed up and said, "Ready, Alex?"
Alexander smirked and said, "Yeah."
Sokka charged again, this time using the spear as a lance, trying to run Alex through,
Alexander smirked and said, "Better."
Sokka slipped on some ice and fell down onto his rump as he slid.
Alex sighed and said, "Here, let me show you how I would use this type of spear." Alexander made a snowman using his powers as he said, "Okay, look." He held the spear in one hand as thrusted at the snowman, keeping the snowman back as he circled it.
Sokka asked, "So like this?" He began to mimic Alexander's movements.
He smirked and said, "Yeah, pretty close, though you are still a bit too tense."
Sokka asked Alex, "How am I supposed to relax?"
Alexander said, "It comes with experience." Then, Alex turned to Sokka and said with a smirk, "Now I will attack you."
Sokka frowned and asked, "What are the rules?"
Alex shrugged and said, "Until you either yield or are out cold?"
Sokka sighed and said, "Fair enough."
He said to Sokka, "Get ready."
Sokka grabbed his spear and held it tightly in his hand as he kept the pointy end pointing at Alex.
Alexander began to circle Sokka like a shark. He gave a toothy grin as he looked at Sokka.
Sokka kept turning around and around and around. Soon he began to grow a little bit dizzy. That was when Alex struck. He used his own spear to swat Sokka's spear to the outside as he moved forward.
Sokka dropped the spear and began to back up, trying to buy some time.
Alexander said coldly, "Yield."
Sokka growled as he threw some snow at Alex's face.
Alexander rolled his eyes as he did not even flinch. Instead, he bent over and picked Sokka up by the front of his Parka as he said, "Nice try with the snow. But this match is over-" He dropped Sokka as he turned around and asked, "Where are Katara and Aang?"
All of a sudden, an explosion of sorts was heard by everyone nearby, and a beam of light shot into the sky.
Alexander darted towards it, leaving Sokka behind as he rushed towards where Aang was.
Sokka ran, trying to catch up with Alex, but he followed the light to where he would be able to meet them.
Alex was a blur as he felt the winds pick up and howel. Alexander slowed down as he summoned his mostly Silver Trident from his necklace. He muttered to himself, "I was wondering when I would have to use this. Not that long."
He saw Aang with his eyes and his Tattoos glowing white-blue.
A few moments later, Katara and Sokka caught up with him.
Alexander marched forward, the winds not impeding him at all. He called out to the young Avatar, "Aang, I understand your pain, but you are going to plausibly kill Sokka and Katara!"
Aang said, "I should have stayed with my people! They are dead because of me!"
Alex sighed as he said, "NO! No, Aang. They died because of the Fire Nation! They were killed because the Fire Nation thought that the Avatar was among them." Alexander sighed as he moved close to him.
Aang shouted in rage and anger, "I could have made a difference!"
He moved even closer to Aang as he said over the howling winds, "No! You would have been killed with your people! The Air Nation lives within you. As long as you and your seed live, there is hope for the Air Nation!"
Aang paused as he slowly began to calm down as he slowly let go of the winds. Finally, the glow started to leave him as he fell to his knees in exhaustion.
Katara rushed past everyone and hugged Aang close to her bosom. She said to him, "We are your family now. We will try to protect you, and we will love you."

Well, here is chapter four. I hope that it was enjoyable. It was an immense pain to write.
What would you like to see happen? I am open to most ideas…
