"Have they made any progress on finding him?" Harry looked up from his guitar, looking at his two friends across from him.

Harry shook his head somberly as he tuned his instrument. "They gave up on the search at the end of last year. They didn't see the point in looking for someone who's been gone for a year. They said if he was alive, he would have tried to make contact by now," The young wizard felt the shift in mood and his friends seemed to as well.

"How's everything at home? With Adrian I mean?" The topic they chose to move on to, didn't make it any better but he didn't mind or care.

"You know the drill Micheal, he's finally growing into his hormones and his emotions are all through the roof," This emitted a small laugh from all of them. "I'm sure I found a dirty magazine in the trash the other day that he denies it's his."

The gray-eyed wizard chuckled but his mood switched back instantly. "I'm sorry about your situation mate, I wouldn't want to give him that talk. How's your sister?"

"She started school yesterday. I called her before we left on the train. She wants to see us this Christmas and New Year."

"That's good, you'll have some time to catch up with her. Kinda sucks it will be with those relatives of yours. ," His other friend added. The black-haired young man looked up at the owner of the voice.

"It is what it is, they don't bother me whenever I come anyways. So it's not a big deal. No offense but they aren't much different than your mum, Finn."

"Don't remind me, lad. You don't have to see them, however, I can't change mother," The three chuckled as the mood shifted. "Any new songs?" he gestured towards Harry.

"Nah, I didn't really have time to learn anything new, my grandparents had a lot of guests over so they didn't want the 'noise'"

"You need to learn control when playing that thing, I remember two years ago you kept playing for so long I thought your fingers were gonna fall off. They looked like little sausages." Finn stated mockingly.

"I'm well aware of that Finn, I just get lost in my own head when I play.," Harry placed his father's guitar down and allowed himself to relax. "How are you two preparing for this year?"

The Irishman rolled his eyes and chuckled. "You sound like my mum." He stood up. "' You need to focus on your future, you need to make money and be successful and not a deadbeat like your pa'" he animated his every word. "God, I am sick of hearing her talk," He sat back down in a huff.

"Did you ever find out what happened to your father?" Micheal asked, trying to break the tension. "Didn't your mum say he traveled a lot?"

The redhead scoffed. "The only thing that old hag had told me about him is that he was a criminal. No picture, no name, not even how they met. All she keeps saying is, 'don't be like him'" Finn stated in a disgusted tone as he spat to the side. "I can't stand being home"

"Better than staying at school all year long," Harry added.

"Do you know how hard it is to do Snape's homework when my entire family is crazy religious nut cases who would burn me at the stake if they knew that I was a wizard?" Finn stated in an angry tone. "I couldn't wait for this year so I can finally leave that house," He turned towards their friend. "What about you Micheal? You ready to leave?"

The gray-eyed young man sighed and smiled. "It's daunting, not gonna lie but it's something that I've been expecting,"

"Ah yes, sitting on the minister's lap must be hard work? " Finn jokingly asked with a chuckle.

"Cut it out. You know I hate it as much as the next person. It does come with some perks though.," the young man stated.

"I wouldn't complain if I had access to the best tutors that money can buy. Not to mention having endless servants at your calling, I bet you didn't even have to lift one finger this summer," The Irishmen joked. "Did they wipe your bum too?"

"Did you never learn how to do it yourself?" Finn flicked his finger at the man. "It's nice to have tutors but it doesn't matter when Harry is still the best wizard of this generation." They turned towards the young man, who's been quiet for the most part.

"Last time I checked I thought it was of the last ten years?" he stated quietly, in an indifferent tone. "Changes every year huh? Why do people call me that?"

"Ah, there is the modesty of Harry Potter. You need to give yourself more credit. You've done a lot at Hogwarts. Mastering every basic charm by your second year, making your house's quidditch team during your first year, mastering three tiers of potion making, and being the best duelist."

"What are you president of his fan club?" Micheal poked. Finn shrugged it off.

"The only thing we never figured out is who Harry James Potter has a crush on" the Irishman teased. "Seven years yet I have not seen you with a single girl. Have you ever kissed a girl yet? It is surprising and amazing at the same time," the wizard mocked as he spoke.

"You are strangely obsessed with my love life," Harry leaned back in shock and a little bit of terror.

"I have to agree with Finn on this, mate."

"You have girls throwing themselves at you and yet you haven't seemed to notice a single one of them. Are you that hard to please? or is there something else in play?" Finn asked with a wink. The raven-haired wizard chuckled and shook his head.

"No, nothing like that Finn, sorry to disappoint you. I just never really looked I guess, it wasn't on my mind."

His friends leaned back with wide smiles on their faces. "Well, we're gonna find you someone, lad. It's your last year, you should at least have honey.."

"It's not necessary, but I know you two so I'm just gonna let you do what you do," Harry argued.

"It will happen, Harry, you know when Finn sets his mind to something, he gets it," The gray-eyed wizard chuckled. "Though I don't know how good he is at getting the girl for someone else,"

"And that's why he had the most detention in school history. Those Weasley twins think he is a god," Harry added.

"Us Irish are a tricky bunch, it happens. It's our charm to mess with the English," The sound of wheels appeared, and soon there was an old woman standing at the front of their door.

"Anything from the trolley dears?" all three shook their heads. As she walked away, Finn quickly closed the door; reaching into his pocket and pulling out a box of his favorite vices. The two Englishmen looked in disgust.

"You know you're gonna get in trouble if you get caught with that," the grey-eyed wizard added.

The Irishmen shrugged his shoulders as he placed one onto his lips before igniting the tip. He took a long hit before letting the smoke out of the window. "They haven't caught me yet. It's been 3 years,"

"That stuff is gonna kill you, it's not healthy," Harry said in an annoyed tone.

"Neither is getting hunted by the dark lord but you don't see Neville complaining," He tapped the paper tube and the ashes fell out of the window. "Besides if I was in his shoes, I wouldn't mind being fawned after,"

Harry arched his brow. "I don't think Neville chose to be the chosen one, you chose to smoke,"

"Same difference, plus, I can quit whenever I want. I only brought one pack," the two friends rolled their eyes, knowing better at this point. "Anyways, are you two playing Quidditch this year?"

Micheal leaned back and smiled. "Is that even a question? This is the year we take down Ravenclaw," Harry rolled his eyes; his friend has stated this every year and nothing has changed.

Finn took another hit before speaking, the room began to fill with the smell of smoke. "You say the same thing every year and it ends the same way every time, why is this year different?"

"Because this year, we will stop Harry from scoring," the wizard stated excitedly, if not rather bluntly.

"And how will you do that?" Harry asked, intrigued.

"Ah, now that is a secret only to Gryffindors,"

"Which means, they don't have a plan," Finn mocked. A stiff punch to the arm was given instantly.

"Be quiet, it will work this year. We have the talent and we have a plan. "

"So do they and they also have Harry. Who you have yet to stop from scoring 7 goals a game,"

Harry looked and smiled as his friends continued to argue.

(Hogwarts, three weeks into classes)

7th year for Harry had been interesting, to say the least. He was named Head Boy, which basically means he gets a dorm all to himself. Which he didn't mind. The opening ceremony is as boring as ever, and so were the classes. Snape was less of a pain this year but it was like putting a bandage on a scar. The young man didn't get that many chances to speak to his brother, he spent most of his time with his friends or by himself. Quidditch was, however, canceled this year. Hogwarts was selected to be host to a once-famous tournament. Whatever it was, Harry did not pay much attention or didn't care enough to listen. The rest of the schools were set to arrive soon.

He, along with the rest of the school, sat in the great hall with bated breaths as Dumbledore begins to announce the arrival of two schools. The young man did wonder why there was a huge commotion early, something about flying horses and a giant ship. Harry had his thoughts interrupted as he heard the booming voice of the headmaster. "Now, please give a warm welcome to our friends from the south, the students of Beuaxbaton," the doors burst open, and came in a bunch of students dressed in blue uniforms.

The young man watched as they performed their dance routine, he did note that almost all of them were extremely attractive. Possibly by choice. Following behind the students was what Harry can only guess to be their headmistress. She was tall. Very tall. Harry looked over at Hagrid, the groundskeeper. "She might be for you buddy,"

A small bit of light caught Harry's eyes but he didn't know what it was. He scanned the room and noticed that everyone's attention was on the front of the room. Dumbledore was saying something. He took the opportunity and quietly slipped out of the hall.

He walked through the dark hallways and made his way to the courtyard; it caught him by surprise that there was another person already there, she was sitting on one of the walls and was looking at the sky. She seemed to be looking at the moon or just in thought. She was dressed in the same blue uniform he saw earlier. As he tried to walk past her, he suddenly felt the urge to talk to her. Despite his best attempt, he walked over to her.

"Excuse me, are you lost?" he asked softly. "Is that the best you can do Harry?" She turned towards him and he noted how beautiful her face was. All of her features were perfect. His eyes focused solely on her lips. He fought back and looked up at her eyes. They were intense.

"Leave me alone." she scoffed. "It's not like he can even understand me," she remarked in French.

"I understand you loud and clear," he replied back perfectly. A shocked but impressed expression appeared on her face. "Mind if I sit with you?"

The young woman relaxed and sighed. "If you want, I guess I owe zee favor for being rude." Harry sat down next to her and stared forward. He felt nervous. He has never felt nervous, at least when it comes to girls.

"Sooo, what are you doing out here? The rest of your school is inside why are you all alone?" Harry stated. "Not creepy at all Harry,"

"I don't dance, nor do I want to see people. Why are you out 'ere, isn't zis school yours? A bad 'ost never leaves his guest inside by themselves."

"Well, I am not a really social person. Besides, no one really notices me when I'm gone and there are plenty of people to greet them. As long as my grades stay the same, the teachers don't care what I do" Harry slowly winced at his comment but she gave him a small chuckle.

The young woman looked at Harry, her eyes were still intense but yet they were sparkling in the night. "Did you 'ear me?" He shook his head and he realized that he was staring a bit too long. She smirked but it quickly disappeared.

"Sorry, I got lost in thought," he lied. She didn't seem to notice. At least he hoped.

"I said what's your name?"

"Oh, it's Harry,"

"'Arry. I'm Fleur,"

"Flower?"

"You're smart. Where did you learn French?"

"My mum, she took lessons and took me with her when I was little. Eventually, I just continued as I got older."

"I see, just surprised me zat's all. I don't like to use English as much."

"Where did you learn English?"

"We have to learn a second language. It is just zee choice for me," Harry noted that her tone was extremely monotone. She avoided eye contact.

"I see, so do you want a tour of the school?"

"Charming but I don't really feel like walking," she stated quickly as if she rehearsed it.

"Oh, I see. Well if you ever want a tour. Just let me know,"

"Charmed, merci." She slowly climbed off of the wall and brushed herself off. "I 'ave to go, I need to talk to a friend about somezing." She held out her hand, he shook it gently. "It's nice to meet 'Arry," She left without saying another word.

"What a women,"
