Cersei snarled always at the fat and plain maid who brought her every meal since many a days now.
The maid never seemed to care, never seemed to care at all in all the weeks since she had become the main, nay the sole servant which entered Cersei's rooms a few times a day to bring food, to took away the used goods, to bring clothes and to clean up.
Cersei hated her, hated that she could neither bribe nor frighten the servant to do her bidding, not that she hadn't tried so at first of course.
But this ugly, fat cow of dirt was sadly unshakable and unafraid of Cersei, loyal to aunt Genna and while completely deaf, nonetheless also extremely aware of everything that Cersei tried to hurt her.
No matter what the young Lioness had tried, nothing had worked against this spying, controlling servantwoman.
And if that was not bad enough, every day aunt Genna came into Cersei's room with a Maester or a Septa, so that Cersei would continue her lessons but never had the Chance to try to influence, to frighten or to bribe either Maester or Septa into obedience again.
And of course it was not the Septa which had once cowered in front of her, the young Lioness, no instead it was a veritable old, prunefaced and hardtongued harridan which aunt Genna certainly had found directly in the Hells themselves.
Three hours everyday with the harridan to learn all the Ladylike deeds and afterwards her midday meal and then two hours everyday with the Maester to learn all the bookkeeping and other noble lessons which were needed to be the Lady of the Great and Noble House of Lannister.
And all these lessons under the sharp eyes of aunt Genna.
Everyday.
Cersei never hated anyone as much as her sharp-eyed and even sharper tongued Aunt.
Right, maybe she hated Uncle Tygett quite as much, even though he was not tormenting her everyday and just came to her very seldom, maybe five days a moon instead of Aunt Genna, to accompany the Septa and the Maester.
Uncle Tygett was as hard and as sharp-eyed as his sister, but at least he was quiet, so in that he was his sister's opposite.
Unfortunately he was not only quiet about and during Cersei's lessons, but also about Jaime, about her other half.
Cersei had not seen her twin since that failed day, had not heard a word from him, nor about him either, even though she still had one chattering and intimidated servant left to her service in the first fortnight after the failed freeing of the King's Knights.
That servant had no Chance to find anything out though, for Uncle Tygett and Uncle Kevan had kept any knowledge about Jaime for themselves and their guards under control and then, then even this chattering servant was sent away.
After that fortnight, Aunt Genna had changed that and this old, fat, deaf cow came to serve her since then.
It was all so unfair, thought Cersei not for the first time, it was all so unfair to her.
She should already be in King's landing with her brother, should already be betrothed to the King and in a few years be married to him in the greatest and most awe-inspiring Wedding feast ever.
It was her birthright.
If only father would be here, he would make all come true. If only she could be in the capital with father, wether he might be sick there or not, he surely would have betrothed her to the King already and no Aunt or Uncles would dare then to keep her away from everything.
Father would have known she meant no ill when she ordered the King's men to be freed from her stupid Uncle's decision , Father would understand that she only wanted to bring her House to the height that they, that she as his daughter deserved.
And she had to do what was best, after all Jaime had always shown that his thoughts were to lazy for much planning, just like their Uncles thoughts were.
But father would understand her, she was his firstborn after all.
...
And then, on a new but uncounted day, Cersei woke up from her afternoon nap when the door opened with a loud Bang and father stood in front of her bed and he looked angry, extremely angry and even disgusted at her...
