When Fred and George made it to the Great Hall, they found Hermione pacing outside of the closed doors worriedly.
"Hermione are you okay," Fred asked her carefully.
"How can I face everyone and apologise, I'm so embarrassed by our actions, we caused so much destruction," she moaned.
"We will do it together, I'm just as much at fault as you are," he said, stepping forward he took her small hand in his own and led her into the Great Hall, which fell silent upon their entrance. Striding purposely to the front of the hall he stepped onto the plinth where the professors table was and turned to face the student body, Hermione was shaking like a leaf at his side.
"Hello," he spike his voice travelling easily through the silent room, "as you can see Hermione and myself are back to our usual ages, "We'd like to apologise for any destruction we've caused as well as distress you might have faced, particularly at the start of our stay at Hogwarts; it was pretty discombobulating finding ourselves in the castle with no memories of how we had got there. I am truly sorry as is Hermione," he said sincerely squeezing Hermione's hand with his.
"I'm so sorry to you all, the professors, the students, Madam Pomfrey, my friends, Draco," she said, her eyes widening. "Oh I hurt you so many times Draco, I'm sorry for everything," she said, her eyes fixed on the blonde boy who sat next to Fred's sister, Fred fought the jealousy that rose within him, he wasn't a kid anymore and couldn't kick or bite the ponce.
"Thank you for apologising Mr Weasley and Miss Granger, we are all glad you are back to yourselves, nothing you did while deaged will be held against you, please go enjoy your breakfasts with your friends, its Christmas Day you know," Professor Dumbledore told them, Fred nodded and led Hermione to the Gryffindor table.
"Good to see that you are back to been yourselves," Malfoy commented.
"I truly am sorry," Hermione said earnestly.
"Its okay, I kind of deserved it, I've been a massive dick to you over the years, I'm sorry for treating you so poorly," the blonde boy told Hermione, Hermione smiled at him.
"I can't believe your dating Malfoy Gin," she commented to his sister.
"Harry's dating Luna," Gin told her shrugging her shoulders.
"So much as changed," Hermione gasped.
"What is it," Fred asked.
"I'm so behind on all my classes and Homework," she said, her eyes wide.
"You'll catch up, you're the smartest person I know," he said, Hermione blushed, and Fred smiled, stroking her hand with his own, Hermione seemed to have forgotten that he was still holding it.
"After breakfast I'd like to talk to you privately if that's okay," he asked her quietly, Hermione nodded her agreement, hopefully she'd also agree to be his girlfriend.
