Daphne Hera Greengrass followed her drift sister towards the ready room, where they would be properly suited up before the drop. Formerly a Pureblood Heiress, Daphne had left the wizarding world after killing her betrothed due to his abusiveness. With her sister, Astora Greengrass, they were able to join Monarch before Daphne was brought into the Jaeger Program. After weeks of training, she got stuck with her intellectual equal from Hogwarts before they drifted together for the first time. Turns out, they were perfectly compatible within the drift and knew each other better then before. Hermione Jean Granger was a survivor, much like Daphne, and with the Kaiju War ramping up, it was time for them to show the monsters they would die as cowards.

They were given the Mark-3 Jaeger, Gypsy Danger, after the Jaeger's former pilots were killed in action with a category IV Kaiju near New York. The two witches had taken the Jaeger and almost fully rebuilt her from the ground up, introducing runes, wards and magic into the machine. While she looked like before, anyone that knew the original design of Danger would see that she now had a slight hourglass figure but was armored much more heavily. Daphne and Hermione took pride in her reconstruction before having to head out to kill a Kaiju near Japan, the newly reconstructed Jaeger performing even better then a Mark-4 and the would be fresh off the line Mark-5.

But in the here and now, Daphne looked at her drift sister before staring ahead at the screen that showed them their mission.

"A category 3 kaiju has gotten past the Mark-1 Jaeger Romeo Blue," Marshal Stacker Pentecost was saying over the intercom to them, "Codenamed "Knifehead", you two are being deployed to stop it before it can reach the Miracle-mile, is that understood?"

Hermione rolled her eyes, "If its anything like Shatterskull, we'll stop it, Sir."

Pentecost didn't say anything before he said, "You drop in ten minutes."

Daphne looked at Hermione with a small smile before the suit's helmets were put on, yellow fluids draining after coating the clear plastic with anti-misting properties. Once that was done, the final suit connections were connected and both witches were led to the head of their Jaeger.

Colin Creevy was typing away at his control panel as he pulled up the systems needed to scan and communicate with Gypsy Danger, as his soon-to-be wife, Astora, looked over the holographic displays of the weapon systems. Marshal Stacker Pentecost stood behind them as hundreds of other technicians and magic users rushed all over to prepare for the imminent Kaiju assault. The Anchorage Shatterdome was home to several Jaegers but only one was fully prepared to take on a Kaiju in hurricane weather, that was Gypsy.

"All weapon systems are online," Astora reported, looking at the Marshal, "Gypsy can fight."

Colin nodded, "Drop ready to go, Sir."

Pentecost nodded, "Begin drop sequence."

Colin madly typed away as he got the message that both Daphne and Hermione were suited up and locked in, readying for the drop. The young wizard gave the code needed and the head of the Mark-3 Jaeger dropped from above, going down nearly two hundred levels before neatly landing into place on the body. The head twisted into place, connectors and other attachments making sure that Gypsy's head wouldn't go flying off into the ocean. Colin then pulled up a secondary holograph, showing the magical energy levels inside the Jaeger.

"Magical circuitry is warming up, Sir, ready to begin drift."

"Understood, pilots will begin drifting in fifteen seconds,"

Colin counted down the seconds before both Daphne's and Hermione's brainwaves fluctuated before stabilizing, harmonizing so strongly, it was like they were one person to the computers. They're drift compatibility was rare, even amongst those that were drift compatible. Once they finished drifting, Colin switched to the magical systems.

"Ok, Daphne, Hermione," He said into his microphone, "Begin Magic Circuit uplink in five...four...three...two...one."

Gypsy jolted, it's body lifting off the ground by a foot, its restraints pushed to their limits before settling down. Magic poured through the Jaeger, filling every micron of space before the powerful turbine on its chest began rotating. Ever since the Jaeger program accepted magicals, they found out that Magical's couldn't use nuclear powered Jaegers, the radiation removed their abilities to do magic completely. Several suggested using an alternative to nuclear power but nothing helped until magical circuits were created, tested by both Gypsy Danger pilots. Kickstarted by their combined magic, the Jaeger would pull ambient magic out of the air and power itself until it was powered down, allowing the magic to go free.

Nothing was lost and everyone benefited, at least that's what Colin thought. Gypsy Danger fully powered, he nodded to the Marshal.

"Gypsy is ready to fight, sir."

Hermione did a final systems check before nodding, knowing Daphne would feel it inside her own head. As one, they started moving out into the churning waves off the coast of Alaska. Gypsy hummed, feeling alive and as though it had a soul of its own. Hermione wondered if Jaegers actually had souls, or if that was just the build itself that gave it a personality. Daphne hummed across from her as they moved under the water, avoiding the storm entirely as they followed the closest interception course.

"Civilians are in the zone," Hermione said, looking over at Daphne, "we need to get them out."

Daphne rolled her eyes, "I know but we have to get their first, Hermione. Remember that?"

Hermione grunted before they both started to move faster, Gypsy spreading up to save lives.

Knifehead erupted out of the surf, roaring mightily as he looked around. He had his orders to destroy the coastline, and he intended to do so but he wanted to have some fun along the way. He had sensed this puny vessel out on the stormy waves and decided to obliterate it, giving him some fresh victims to listen to scream. His fun was interrupted when a massive metal being erupted out of the surf between him and his prize, angering him.

With a roar, he slashed his massive clawed hand at the thing. It glanced off its protected shoulder, sending sparks into the night as the machine got the vessel to safety. Knifehead rumbled before a metal fist slammed into his jaw, making him nearly bite his own tongue off. He stumbled back before another fist slammed into his skull, stars danced before his vision. He rallied, pouncing the machine in absolute fury. It grappled with him, deftly dodging his head protrusion that would have decapitated any other machine.

He was about to slice the machine wide open when he felt something rip his chest open, giving him pause. The sensation came again, stronger this time, with the smell of his flesh cooking. He felt his vitals slow, then stop as his body went limp. He was shoved into the water, but then his secondary body systems kicked in, reviving him once more. He growled before waiting until the machine had its back turned before launching himself out of the water and biting down on its left arm.

With it clamped in its jaws, Knifehead tore the arm off. Roaring, he brought his arm around to grab into the head of this intruder. He didn't get the chance.

Hermione cried out as her left arm went dead, all sensation gone. Gypsy had systems that made sure her own brain wouldn't be affected by the loss of a limb, but it was so wrong. She knew her real arm was there but it wasn't to her senses which screamed that it had been torn off. Daphne screamed in shock as Knifehead brought its arm around to grab the head of the Jaeger. Hermione looked at Daphne, seeing her drift sister getting pulled out and dying.

A deep throaty bellow filled the air, causing both young ladies to stop. Knifehead paused in his attack, looking around for the source of that noise. The source erupted out of the water, its roar sounding all so familiar but somehow different. Knifehead screamed in shock then agony as the monster bit its outstretched arm off at the elbow, blue blood squirting out of the fresh wound. Then the roar came again and both women gasped.

"Is that-" Daphne started to ask before Hermione interrupted her.

"No, it can't be, its more high pitched."

That was when the hum of dorsal spines reminded them of where they were, as a brilliant blue glow illuminated the area. It revealed the creature to be similar in body structure to the Alpha but something was off, but both couldn't look at it now. Out of its mouth came the atomic breath, slamming into Knifehead's chest with a primal fury. It burned its way through the body and out the back in a fiery display of power before finally stopping. The Kaiju dropped, finally dead, into the chrunning waters. The Titan roared into the night, vibrating the cockpit of the Jaeger with its volume before it turned and looked at the Jaeger itself.

Hermione gasped in surprise as Gypsy's lights illuminated the Titan's body, showing it off. The body wasn't thick or tanky like Godzilla, no, this body was athletic and lean. Hermione couldn't help but blush at the near perfect hourglass figure this Godzilla like Titan had. The female Titanus Gojira's spines were also much softer, more smooth. Much more so then Godzilla's sharp and rough ones, though he had lost them in a fight with MUTO Prime. The Titanus Gojira was also smaller then the Alpha Titan but probably not by much, fifty to sixty feet at the most. Her eyes were also a brilliant dark blue, seeming to glow with their own inner light. Daphne, thankfully, knocked Hermione out of her stunned stupor.

"Hermione," She said flatly, "Why is there a female Titanus Gojira standing right there? I thought there was only one Godzilla and he was the last of his kind."
