The war escalated again, this time they went even further. Another Breach surged and opened in the Atlantic, causing the Titans to go berserk. Soon, every Titan was up and tearing through the world. Every single monster that Monarch had discovered were attacking the Kaiju that dared emerge from the breaches, body parts were spotted everywhere on all the beaches as the Titans wreaked havoc on the Kaiju that came. Jaegers were deployed when the Titans were overwhelmed but the Titans seemed to come back with a vengeance never seen before in any species.

Even then, Monarch could only come up with one answer. The Titans had faced the Kaiju before and were not going to allow them to come back again. However, the war dragged on for two more years. Jaeger Pilots were dying more and more as the Kaiju were becoming unleashed nearly every three to four weeks, one or two coming out of both breaches. The Mark-1's and Mark-2's were almost all scrap and any surviving Mark-3's were being retrofitted with more modern upgrades. However, the losses were being added upon.

While Titans could heal from their injuries, Jaeger Pilots couldn't and the increasing injuries were killing them. Any new Jaegers usually were given to trained survivors now, as the recruits were becoming less and less. As the war reached the zenith, it was now going to get worse.

The headless corpse of a Jaeger dropped as the Kaiju codenamed "Hack Jaws" bellowed, drool and slime flying out of its mouth as it roared. Gypsy Danger was on a knee as they saw the body of the Mark-3 Jaeger, Silver Lightning, collapse. It had been one of the few Mark-3's left, leaving Gypsy Danger and only several Mark-3's left in the world. Hermione and Daphne growled, which caused the fog hour to blare. The Kaiju turned to face them, its four eyes showing malice and death in them.

It leapt at the Jaeger but was sidelined as Ester slammed into Hack Jaws, roaring as she bit into the monster's carapaced shoulder. Shoulder armor snapped and twisted in her powerful jaws, as Gypsy sprinted at the Kaiju. With an elbow rocket empowered punch, Gypsy snapped off one of the jaws. Blood sprayed and sizzled as it hit anything organic, Gypsy powered up for another punch before it was back handed into a building.

Ester grabbed the other jaw and broke it off, causing the Kaiju to scream the gurgle as it couldn't articulate any proper noise. She then blasted her atomic breath down the beast's throat, incinerating its insides and killing it. She then rushed over to Gypsy and helped the Jaeger to its feet, looking it over with concern. This rather human behavior seemed odd but it had appeared when Jaegers had teamed up with one another, partnerships that rubbed off on Ester.

Gypsy's pilots pat Ester's head before they straighten, allowing the helicopters to pick them up to carry them away. Ester simply followed after letting out a roar of victory.

Stacker Pentecost looked at the screen, showing the increasing Jaeger losses. People were sending in money to help them as the Governments around the world were showing their displeasure by stealing the bodies of the fallen Jaegers. Those Jaegers were being melted down and used to construct the already failed wall, which they simply refused to stop doing.

"Sir," Herc said, looking at Pentecost, "I thought Protocol Ten would have been finished by now."

"No, it seems the representatives of each Government have gone to ground, making it that much harder to find them. Only one of the representatives, the one from France, was found."

"And?" Herc asked, after several moments.

"It seems all those representatives were not human," Pentecost said, "They were of another race that lived before with the Titans. The Fae."

Herc raised an eyebrow, "The Fae?"

Stacker nodded, "Monarch has been rather quiet on this but it was for good reason, Herc. The Fae worshipped the Goddess Titan known as Tiamat, not the Titan that is her namesake. This same Titamat created the Kongs, whom they also worshipped as her soldiers and children. When Godzilla slaughtered all but a few of them, the Fae swore vengeance on Humanity and Godzilla."

Herc nodded, "So, these Fae may have made a deal with whoever is sending these Kaiju?"

Stacker nodded, "Yes, that is the prevailing theory."

Herc nodded before changing the subject, "Mako is making a name for herself."

Pentecost nodded as the Mark-5 Jaeger, Samurai Indigo, appeared on screen. Mako Mori had made a name for herself and become a rather exceptional Jaeger Pilot, even when Pentecost had wanted her to stay away from it. Her partner, a Half-Veela Witch named Gabriel Delacour, had only drifted once with her and they were tighter then glue ever since. They had gone before the Jaeger commission committee to present their Jaeger and had gotten it green lighted before Pentecost had even heard of what was happening.

France took the pair in and the French coast had never been so defended, causing only two other Jaegers to stay due to how effective the duo were. The Jaeger itself was a very feminine build, light on its feet and carried so many blades on it, Pentecost was sure Mako had used her family's heritage of sword making to make all of them.

Of course, Mako also told Stacker that unless he fixed his relationship with his estranged son, Jake, she wasn't coming home. Jake and Mako originally were rivals until Mako started to work and be there for Jake, even avoiding Pentecost completely to help Jake. Jake had recently left the PPDC because Stacker made a horrible mistake, telling Jake he would never be inside a Jaeger. Mako had immediately transferred herself to France and pulled her younger adoptive brother back into the PPDC.

Jake piloted one of the other Mark-5 Jaegers in France, Cyclone Emerald, with another pilot, Victor Krum. The Jaeger was described as "if Crimson Typhoon and Striker Eureka had a kid", which Stacker agreed with the assessment of the design. He also had been told, from his wild Elizabeth Pentecost, that if he wanted his family to be back as a whole that he better patch up his relationships with his son and daughter.

"I haven't heard much from her since…" He tried to say but couldn't finish the sentence.

Herc knew what he was talking about however, "Since your son left the PPDC because of your stupid ego and mistake. Yeah, I think it would be best if you tried to patch it up with him before he and his partner, Krum, get KIA'd. Nothing hurts worse then not saying anything that could fix a broken bridge."

Stacker nodded and sighed before turning away from the screen, "Prep the helicopter, I think its time we headed to France to inspect the Shatterdome there."

Herc nodded, "I'll have Striker flown over as Escort and extra defense, these kaiju attacks have only gotten worse since the Atlantic Rim opened up."
