We're back folks!
Trust me when I say the next chapter for KH II Guardians of the Multiverse will come soon. I just wanted to take a break and write some one shots to get everyone in the holiday mood. I probably will write two more after this. But there will be another one-shot about Christmas after this one. For now, sit back, take a sip of hot chocolate and enjoy this very marry chapter.
KingdomWarrior125: I'm glad you're interest.
Just a reminder people. I can't write that fast if people don't give me ideas in the comment section or the PMS.
"He means plot ideas not stocking stuffers like 'Have Aiden make this' or 'Have Aiden say he's not Santa'. We mean what the chapter is about. What's the plot of it. Okay readers?" Maverick said to everyone reading. "Tell us what Christmas one shot you want to read and we'll make it. Give us specific details for dialogue and funny moments or touching moments you want to see. Don't worry they can be both. Just ask the MCU."
Right you are Maverick. Alright. Now that were all here.
LET'S GET MARRY DANGEROUS!
A Christmas Scavenger Hunt.
(CSH)
Inside Arendelle Castle...
One a very cold day of December, as the snow began falling over the horizon of Arendelle. Kids around town began playing the snow while others were going about their daily business without a problem going about. All of course are getting ready for the greatest day of the year. Christmas.
Speaking of Christmas.
Queen Elsa made sure all royal business was taken care of and set aside to prepare for this weekend Yule bell ring. So as she finishes her morning routines, and dons her dark blue winter dress with the white fur lining. Then she casually walks down the hall to see Anna helping out with Winter decorations. She observes her young sister's enthusiasm as she sprinkles tinsel on one of the suits of armor statues. Elsa shakes her head with a smile.
"Anna?" Elsa greeted with an amused tone, startling Anna.
"Oh!" Anna accidentally knocked over the suit of armor making it cling and scatter and all over the floor. She giggled nervously. "I can fix that."
Elsa laughed softly. "It's okay. What were you doing?" She asked.
"Well. I was just putting up some Christmas decorations early. Or 'spicing up the joint' as Aiden would put it." Anna mused. "I know we don't do it until later, but I figured we should get a head start."
Anna has always made Christmas brighter with her excitement. Especially since the past three years of it were so much better since they've opened up the gates. But now they have a new member of the family that needs that same light.
"Speaking of Aiden, have you seen him around by any chance?" Elsa asked her.
"Not really. I haven't seen him all morning. I thought he might have been busy or stopping trouble." Anna chirped with a smirk.
"Or getting into trouble." Elsa smirked back.
Her adopted son is a mystical warrior from another world who fights bad guys. So who's to say it's not all three?
"I'm gonna go see if he's awake." Elsa walked down the hall with Anna following.
Elsa went down to Aiden's door that had a poster of The Maverick on his door. Or specifically himself, Aiden takes pride in who he is. Elsa saw no shame in that, because she's proud of him too.
The Queen knocks on his door. "Aiden? Are you awake sweetie?" She called out. When they heard no answer. Elsa and Anna went inside his room and didn't see him there.
"Hmm… Might be down stairs." Elsa figured. But before she left.
"Hey Elsa look! He left one of those electric card thingies Oooh I love these!" Anna squealed and she found a Christmas card left on his bed. It had snowflakes all over and it read on the side 'Open up to hear some Christmas joy'.
"It has our names on it." Elsa noticed hers and Anna's names were written on the front. But why not Kristoff and Olaf's. Or Sven or Groot's name? Maybe he had other surprises for them and this was specifically for just Anna and Elsa.
"Let's open it!" Anna said as she opened it first. Instantly there were moving neon snowflakes inside and the card started playing a famous song from his world.
( Paul - McCartney - Wonderful Christmas Time)
The moon is right
The spirit's up
We're here tonight
But that's enough
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time
Simply having a wonderful Christmas time.
"He always has nice music!" Anna giggled swaying her hands to the rhythm.
Elsa giggled with her until she saw a little round disk that read 'Put this on the ground and enjoy'
Elsa wasn't sure what that meant until she did what it said. Once she placed the disk on the ground. The little disk lit up the room with neon holograms.
"Oooh it's one of those holo messages. He made one last Halloween." Anna looked in awe of the lights.
"And last Thanksgiving." Elsa added as she was also marveling at the holographic ornaments and snowflakes falling everywhere.
Then the neon holograms projected a stage with Maverick playing 'Santa Claus Is coming to Town'
Then the Holo-Maverick looked at Anna and Elsa. "Aw yeah. Christmas baby." Maverick mimicked Berry White in a deep voice before his guitar vanished.
"If you're watching this, It's either because you have a clear schedule or you're wondering. What does a Maverick do on Christmas? Well if it's not beating the crap out of pirates and monsters or petty thugs. It's usually been just finding a warm place to sleep for the past three years and finding something to eat that doesn't feel or taste like cold lettuce in the freezer." Holo-Maverick plays back the beginning introductions
Elsa and Anna felt kind of bad being reminded of the life Aiden had being on his own for the past three years. But the family plans on making it better, just the way they've been doing it so far.
"But this year I've decided to share with you something me and my Mom use to do in the hospital. Since it was dangerous for a young patient with leukemia to walk around the mall and see Christmas lights. She use to set up what we like to call a 'Christmas Scavenger hunt' Or CSH for short.' Holo-Maverick announced displaying the letters with a Christmas garland in the middle. Then the letters shorten to CSH.
Anna gasped looking excited. "A scavenger hunt?!"
"Here's How it works. The card has a clue to start the hunt. Use it to find the next card and holo disk. Along with a special surprise. Each item you'll find could be anything. Probably something from my pop culture. Or a special memory. Or the lost map to Chocolate City Utah." Holo-Maverick states with a joke at the last part.
"Is that a place?" Anna asked curiously and she realized with a gawk. "Wait... Is he making fun of my chocolate addiction?!"
"Well at least you admit it's an addiction." Elsa shrugged with a playful grin.
"Also miner note. All clues are in the form of a riddle. Blame Arkham City for making me obsessed with those." Holo-Maverick swayed his hand and began. "Here's the first one, should be easy enough for even Olaf in his sleep could solve this."
"Okay." Elsa nodded as she and Anna listened closely.
"You use me every day. Many times I would bet. But more that you're clear. The more I get wet. What Am I?" Holo-Maverick spoke his riddle before his projection ended.
Anna hummed to herself thinking. She cupped her chin while tapping it, trying to figure out what the answer to the riddle is. Elsa gave her a look because she already figured it out. Anybody would. It's laying on Aiden's massage chair.
"Really Anna? It's very obvious, 'the more I get wet'. It's obviously-" Elsa was about to answer before Anna beat her to it.
"A TOWL!" Anna pipped out and pumped her fist and smiled victoriously. "Yeah! Score one for Arendelle's favorite Princess. I am so glad I figured it out first."
Elsa raised an eyebrow at her gloat, but shook her head trying not to laugh. Then she picked up the towel on Aiden's chair, then a photo dropped from the towel. Elsa picked it up and saw the image on it. It was an obviously familiar room that requires no thinking.
"It's our library." Anna even knew it.
The library is where they would go to relax. It's one of their favorite rooms to go and read, play board games and other things. Especially with Aiden. And it's where Anna used to spend most of her time as a child. Lonely in a castle with so many empty rooms as the hours ticked by. It's no wonder why she's so hyper whenever something good or exciting happens. She gets to do them with people and socialize. Even their cousin Rapunzel was the same way from being locked in a tower for eighteen long years.
"Well then. Let's see what Aiden has in store for us." Elsa mused as they walked out.
"You make everything sound so sinister." Anna said playfully.
"I do?" Elsa looked confused.
Inside the castle Library...
Once they made it to the library. Anna saw another card on the table in front of the couch. She went to pick it up and handed it to Elsa. There was a neon and ice image of Elsa standing over her ice palace with her hands out. And it was in animation of the Snow Queen doing her signature walk. with letters that read 'Is your refrigerator running? Ours is walking.'
Elsa smiled and chuckled a little at the joke. Especially since Aiden explained what a refrigerator was a while back. She opens the card up to hear another song play from the card.
(Santa Baby - Eartha Kitt)
Santa baby, just slip a sable under the tree for me
Been an awful good girl
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight
Santa baby, a '54 convertible too, light blue
I'll wait up for you, dear
Santa baby, so hurry down the chimney tonight
"Nice song. But why does it sound like she wants to date Santa?" Anna asked with a giggle.
Elsa giggles with her to see another image on the card. A nice image of her sitting on her throne. Wearing her winter dress. 'I had the best ice pun to tell you…
Problem is, it slipped my mind.' was written inside the card
"Oooh!" The sisters realized and laughed together at the joke.
There was also another holo disk inside. And just like before, Elsa placed it on the rug in front of the fireplace. Then a holo message of Maverick projected out of the disk. It was a recording of Maverick sitting on a chair while moving his hand around for ice to twirl around his fingers. Maverick seemed curious in this image.
"You know what I don't miss feeling? Cold. And not the metaphorical kind you get from a Shakespeare's play. More like. I literally don't feel extremely cold anymore, like 'somebody give me a heat pack and turn up the thermostat. I gotta escape the wrath of the Librarian!' cold. It's kinda funny. Sure this solid H2O abilities come with its perks like I can chill during hot days and I can do all kinds of crazy crap with my Maverick abilities." Holo-Maverick remarked. "Of course only the downside is… Nope! Can't think of anything. This is fricken awesome."
Elsa rolled her eyes with a grin at her son's witty enthusiasm while Anna giggled.
"But enough about me. Let's talk about you? When you sit in front of the fire. Do you like to feel warm to escape the cold? Or are you just like me and are searching to see if my next action figure is coming down to get scorched?" Holo-Maverick. "Personally most of Santa's problems would disappear if he'd do what Amazon likes to do. Leave it at the door and walk away."
"Who's Amazon?" Elsa asked Anna looking confused. Anna just shrugged.
"I did something similar once during my first Christmas on this world. Just me and Groot against a world. And we found an empty Log Cabin in Vardaros. Detroit's perfect Mini-Me. No one was inside the cabin and it seemed dusty. So me and Groot did some renovations and got the place ready for Christmas that season. I was ready for a break from searching for the Chamber of Renewal. And I just wanted to celebrate. Plus I had a talking Christmas tree to do it with." Holo-Maverick stated.
"Awe…." Anna smiled.
"But something conveniently remarkable happened on Christmas Eve. That night, while me and Groot sat by the fireplace. I found something under the rug. It looked like a letter. At first I thought it was some kid's lost letter to Santa. But then it dawned on me. A letter to Santa wouldn't have a smell of cheap wine." Holo-Maverick continued his tale.
Anna and Elsa sat down on the couch listening to Holo-Maverick tell the story.
"So I opened the letter and it had some type of a bear insignia on it. With a map to an area located in Vardaros. At first me and Groot thought Santa left us the location to the Chamber. But when we got there…. well. It was something pretty grim. The map let us to an abandoned wine cellar inside of a local bar that was closed down. We searched the area and I found a secret hatch behind the counter. Inside was not berried treasure or a secret tunnel." Holo-Maverick spoke with a serious tone. "We found children underneath. All chained and scared beyond believe. Smelling like death. Some were malnourished, bruised, sick, all above and under the age of nine and ten."
"Oh my God." Elsa covered her mouth.
"Right when I discovered this, the goons that were responsible for this came in and screamed 'Get away from our merchandise!'. Apparently these were some low life slavers. So me and Groot beat the sh- crap out of those thugs and alerted the town and their Captain Quaid to the scene….. What kind of name is Quaid? Anyway. That night those psychopaths were arrest and locked up. All of those children were taken home to their parents and given medical attention." Holo-Maverick said.
Anna and Elsa were relieved to hear that.
"It felt good. That was the first time I had ever saved so many lives when it truly mattered. For those kids to wake up on Christmas with their Moms and hot coco. It's what I wanted at that moment but couldn't have. All that time I felt like I was being punished for no good reason, banished to a world I didn't belong in. Until that night. And on the morning of Christmas. I felt a new sense of purpose. If I hadn't been there. So many kids would've been working a nine to five job selling shoes while their parents would be missing their children. I stop that. Me. I wasn't even wearing the suit at the time. And they had no idea it was me. I didn't open myself to them. Didn't want to risk getting driven out for my glowing eyes. So me and Groot went on our way the day after Christmas and continued our search." Holo-Maverick finished his story.
"Wow…. Just…. Wow." Anna whispered as she almost got teary eyed.
"So before we all start getting mushy and go cry on our beds made of money. Let me treat you to another riddle. 'I'm tall when I'm young, and I'm short when I'm old.' What am I?" Holo-Maverick stated his riddle before the holo disk ended.
Elsa tried thinking of what that meant. While still feeling proud for what her son did that Christmas Eve.
"Uhh…. A glass of water?" Elsa guessed.
"A stack of pancakes!" Anna bursts her guess. "No wait….A bag of money!"
Elsa then looked on the coffee table and saw a lit candle on it…. Wait! That's it! Tall when I'm young and short when I'm old!
"A candle!" Elsa realized.
"A candle? Oh of course!" Anna groaned a little that she didn't get it first. She felt rather competitive. But this was fun for the two of them.
So Elsa picked up the candle stick and found a note that read 'Head to the dining room. And stay cool. Because this one dish has only one rule. And it's the opposite.'
Both of them didn't quite understood what that meant. But they got up and left the library and went to the dining room.
The castle dining room…..
Once Elsa and Anna arrived. They were greeted with a familiar smell. They both took a whiff and smiled. "Chocolate…" They both breathed and giggled.
There were two cups of coco on the table. With whipped cream, a caramel with a little bit of whipped cream. A roasted marshmallow with sprinkled chocolate on top. With straws. It looked like those cups were recently made. Just a few minutes ago. Anna and Elsa went over and took a cup. They both took a sip. They both hummed with smiles.
"Oh my gosh this is so good!" Anna gushed.
"I've never had hot coco this delicious before." Elsa beamed and took another sip.
While drinking they saw another card on the table. It had the image of a house on a cold winter's night. With holiday decorations. With the words written 'All aboard! a quote of a ticket inspector. You've got to hand it to them'
While they thought that was pretty funny. Elsa opened up the card and was amazed by the majestic animated image of a train riding on the tracks around a snowy mountain. And an orchestra playing in the background. It was the theme to The Polar Express.
"Nice…. Sounds like one of Aiden's movies." Elsa smiled.
"It probably is." Anna figured.
Then Elsa took the holo disk in the card and sat it on the table. Suddenly the holo images projected dancing waiters running across the table and chairs. Tapping in a rhythm of jazz and swing dance groove. The music played as the center projected A conductor with a mustache dancing with them.
(Hot Chocolate - Tom Hanks from the Polar Express)
Hot! Hot!
Ooh, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Hey, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Say, we got it!
Hot chocolate!
Elsa and Anna were smiling widely amused by this. And even moving a bit to the music. And the holo waiters and holo conductor went on singing.
Hot! Hot!
Oh, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
So, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Yo, we got it!
Hot chocolate!
Their speed and leg moment as they moved were enchanting. They almost didn't noticed that another two cups of the same hot chocolate appeared next to their empty cups. So while they watched Anna and Elsa started drinking their refills.
Here, we've only got one rule:
Never ever let it cool!
Keep it cookin in the pot,
You've got-
Hot choc-o-lat!
The beat in a rhythm was Majestic as their boots step in rhythm and time in a spin of happiness in pursing passion of the dance. This continued as Elsa watches with amusement while Anna just straight up 'fan girls' over the show.
Hot! Hot!
Ooh, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Hey, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Say, we got it!
Hot chocolate!
This made the two royal sister drink some more. If there are two things they can't say no to. It's music and chocolate. This was both in a perfect match of speed and catchy music.
Hot! Hot!
Oh, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
So, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Yo, we got it!
Hot chocolate!
The song went on with a spectacle and a catchy tune that Anna will always think of from now on, when ever she drinks hot chocolate or even think about hot chocolate. Probably even chocolate. Elsa feels the same way.
Here, we only got one rule:
(Here, we only got one rule:)
Never ever let it cool!
(Never ever let it cool!)
Keep it cookin in the pot,
Soon, ya got hot choc-o-lat!
They watched how into it the holo train conductor was with that note when he slid on his knees. Anna laughed and clapped her hands while Elsa was laughing with her.
"THIS IS AMAZING!" Anna exclaimed joyfully. Feeling like a little girl.
Hot! Hot!
Hey, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Whoa, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Yeah, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Whoa, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Hey, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Whoa, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Yeah, we got it!
Hot! Hot!
Whoa, we got it!
Once the song concluded. The waiters flips away and disappeared with the conductor. Then a Holo-Maverick appeared standing on the table drinking an empty cup. Or rather pretending to drink out of it.
"Nice huh? I'm pretty sure if the song was 'Hot Coffee'. They would be singing faster like Elvis on a Black Friday." Holo-Maverick quipped. "That song came from a famous holiday movie that many leave the theaters feeling good and with a true holiday spirit. Though I could've done without the Steven Tyler elf. Seriously what the frick? Anyway. The Polar Express was a movie about a boy who had trouble trying to believe there was a Santa. So on the night of Christmas eve. A train stops a the front of his house inviting all the children in the neighborhood to ride along the train that was heading to the north pole. It was a challenging moral about belief and when to cast all doubts. Check it out this evening. You won't be disappointed."
Anna gulped down her hot chocolate and breathed. "Count on it."
Even Elsa agreed.
"Now riddle me this. 'Everyone sees me without noticing me. For what is beyond is what you seek.' What am i?" Maverick asked before the holo disk turned off concluding the message.
This really confused Elsa and Anna. They had no idea what this meant. Maybe Aiden should've given them a hint. But as they pondered. Elsa began to wonder about her own past life. How she would yearn to be with her sister beyond her bedroom door. How her future and answers to controlling her powers were always in front of her. How she would look out the window and wonder…. Wait a second…..
"A window." Elsa's eye's lit up.
"You figured it out?" Anna perked up.
"I think so." Elsa turned at the window behind her chair.
So she stood up and drew the curtains back. Then another photo dropped on the floor. Elsa picked it up and saw it was a photo of the throne room. So Elsa and Anna got up after finishing their coco and left the dining room.
Inside Queen Elsa's throne room…
Elsa and Anna made it to the throne room. Just like the dining room and library no one was around. Which means they're in for another story or another pop culture reference about Christmas. Either way, Anna and Elsa were looking forward to hearing about it. Especially from those cool holograms. Elsa went up and found another Christmas card on Elsa's throne. The queen picked it up seeing some nice images of a landscape. She opened the card and saw more of the landscape. Then suddenly the image on the card, showed a battle about to start, only to be stopped by a glowing light in between the two armies. Intrigued. Elsa opened up the card and saw the Maverick standing in between the two armies speaking with them, like he was lecturing them. But what was he saying? There were the words written was not a joke. Bit wisdom. 'War doesn't determine who' s right. Only what's left.'
Some orchestral music of 'The Little Drummer Boy' was playing in the card.
Then Elsa took the round disk in the card and placed it on the ground in the middle of the throne room. It projected a Holo-Maverick who stood in the background of a battle field while shooting with a refile. And wearing an army helmet from WW II. Then another Holo-Maverick wearing a hippies robe came up to Army Holo-Maverick and slapped him in the face. Then he cupped his cheeks making him drop the gun.
"Make cheer and wine! Not war and swine man!" Hippie Holo-Maverick yelled sounding high.
After Hippie Holo-Maverick walked all. Army Maverick stared blankly and then bowed his head down. "I'm ashamed." He muttered.
then everything shifted into just a Holo-Maverick standing in the room.
"Last year during Christmas eve. It was getting close to midnight. There was a war about to break between the Northern Isles and the Kingdom of Ingvarr. A Paradise Island full of women, let me tell ya. But the war between them was out of pride when the Northern Isle king was poisoned by a chemical toxin that was well known for Ingvarrian poison arrows. The king only had two hours left before he dies. And they invaded Ingvarr. Who also had a king who was poisoned. What a twist." Holo-Maverick mimicked Shyamalan at the end of that statement.
Elsa and Anna listened to how he stopped the war.
"Right when both armies charged into the battle. Ready to clash and go Game Of Thrones on each other. I flew down there and landed in between both sides and told them to stand down. I had neon barriers blocking both sides as I revealed to them that this was a conspiracy caused by the advisor of the Northern Isles. Wanting for their Ingvarr's warrior queen to die in battle. So that with both kings dead and no one to concur the Northern Isle throne. The advisor would take over and rule in their king's place." Holo-Maverick stated this story.
Elsa and Anna were blown away by this.
"I told both armies that were standing there. 'There is no justice between men. If our differences are measured in numbers shedding blood. The vengeful response to death only add more death. And if you want to pass judgment. Pass it at the one responsible.' And I revealed who was responsible. With that. Both sides laid their arms down and ended the war. The advisor was arrest and brought to trial. And executed for treason. And I cured both kings before the poison could kill them. And thus the sun rose an a Christmas with the right color of red…..I'm talking about the theme not blood." Holo-Maverick clarified.
"We know little spark. We know." Elsa smiled proudly after hearing how her son. A seven year old boy in an armored suit at the time. Stopped two kingdoms from killing each other for an evil act they were both innocent of.
"As a reward. The queen of Ingvarr gave me the information I wanted, which I stated is all I wanted, even if she wanted to give more. But the info lead me to another location and then another and another and another. Until I was eventually lead to Corona. And then here. And you know the rest. Boy meets World. World meets boy and then a beat down in Frozen town. Holy crap." Holo-Maverick quipped. "The multiverse has a pretty slick sense of humor. The trick to surviving it. Is learning how to take a joke."
Truer words were never spoken.
"Now. what's that behind your ear? It's a riddle. 'Run as fast as you can, don't slip on the way in. The structure inside never melts nor thins'. What am I?" Holo-Maverick stated before the message concluded and turned off the holograms.
This would've been a challenge for anyone else. But for Queen Elsa, this was a walk in the park. Because this was close to home just by the details.
"The ice palace." Both sisters said. Even Anna knew.
Elsa and Anna went outside and rode out on Kristoff's sled which was waiting for them at the castle. Along with Sven. But Kristoff wasn't around for some reason. Little did they know is that he was with Aiden. Preparing their final surprise for the day.
Inside the Ice palace….
Kristoff was busy setting up the banner. Tying it to the two posts in between the stare case on the main hall. While Aiden was busy using his ice powers and neon powers to draw and decorate the walls of the palace. Then he constructed a neon grenade launcher and shot Christmas ornaments on the green decorations for an extra theme.
Just then Olaf came running inside waving her hands looking excited. "There coming! I saw their sled!" She yelled joyfully.
"The Coldish are coming! The Coldish are coming!" One of the Snowgies ran by squeaking in a high pitch voice.
"Alright places everyone! Time to let the cold in!" Aiden quipped as he puts his decorating gun away.
"Looks that way." Kristoff said as he climbed down the ladder.
Everyone stood up together facing the front door. Marshmallow was with them along with Groot and all the Snowgies. Elsa and Anna entered inside along with Sven the reindeer. Thus causing noise makers and fire crackers blow tinsel and confetti in red and green pop everywhere. They saw a giant tree in the middle of the stair cases and lights everywhere. The while palace was decorated like a New York mall on the holidays. With Neon lights of reindeer. Snowmen. Santa and presents and ornaments in blue and green.
"MARRY CHRISTMAS!" They all shouted.
"Happy Presidents Day!" Marshmallow yelled instead making everyone give him a weird look. "What?"
"Awe you guys! You shouldn't have!" Anna beamed as she and Elsa saw all of the holiday decorations and giant Christmas tree in the middle of the room. Even Sven frolicked around the room. Thankfully Aiden added a smooth ice ground covering to make sure he doesn't slip inside.
"How have you managed to do all of this?!" Elsa gasped with a smile and laughed.
"I am Groot." Groot remarked. Translate: 'He's the Maverick. What else?'
"Aid's been working on this all week. He wanted to it every mark. As you can probably tell by now. He's on a roll." Kristoff stated and looked at his nephew. "I'm still getting paid for this right?"
He was really joking when he asked that.
"I'll email you a check." Aiden answered.
"I don't own or know how to use a computer." Kristoff pointed out.
"Exactly." Aiden quipped a burn which made everyone laugh.
Later on that day…..
Aiden and Elsa stood next to each other out if the balcony of their ice palace, leaning on the rails and watching the view of the Northern Lights. December was truly here for the royal family.
"So. how high did I boost your wow meter today?" Aiden asked his mom.
"Hehe… It crashed through the roof." Elsa mused before she kissed his forehead. "Thank you so much Aiden. We may have ringed the yule bell yet, but you've truly made it feel like the best Christmas I've ever had so far. All the things you've done. The people you've saved. I'm so proud of you."
Aiden smiled and nodded.
"I have to wonder though, if it's okay to ask. You mentioned your first and last Christmas in the messages. What about your second Christmas?" Elsa asked curiously but careful not to bring up any bad memories.
Aiden snickered as he kind of forgot to mention what that was like. "I actually didn't celebrate it that year." He stated which surprised Elsa. "I was too busy looking for the Chamber. Mastering my suit and ring. Going from uncharted location to another. It went right past me that year."
"Oh sweetie. I'm so sorry." Elsa breathed looking sympathetic.
"Don't worry about it. I'm doing exactly what we're all doing. Making up for lost time. With you here. I don't have any trouble doing that." Aiden said with no sadness in his voice, before hugged the queen on her side. "I love you Mom."
Elsa smiled and hugged her son back . "I love you too little spark." She softly said back to her boy.
They both are making up for the times they lost. Elsa for her thirteen years of isolation, and Aiden for his 8 years of survival. 5 years as a cancer patients and 3 years homeless in a new world.
The kingdom of Arendelle truly a magical place. Bringing people together, so they can heal. Celebrate and live as a family.
Aiden's family.
That's all for now folks!
Before we talk about this chapter I have to make a comment on a video game I've just played. No it's not KH Melody of Memories. I've watched the cutscenes online for that one and they were good. But this game I'm about to talk about deserves my attention more.
I've played Spider-Man Miles Morales. And let me just say. That was a damn good game. I liked it better then the Avengers video game and it's a nice system treat for the PlayStation 5. At least I assume since I haven't gotten my PS5 yet due to them constantly being out of stock. But thankfully my PS4 version of Spider-Man Miles Morales has a free upgrade for the next system when I finally get one.
I really liked how Miles had to work and earn the respect of New York being the new Spider-Man and how he has his own play style an animation when he's swinging in action. The story is engaging just like the last game despite it being shorter then the last one. But it makes up for it by having a lot to do in the city. The only downside is that Peter's new face design they made for him in this game and in the remastered version of Spider-Man. My God! What the hell were they thinking?! It is a huge disconnect from what we got before! It's not awful, but the old face was much more of a match then this one. I really don't like the new face. I think it's unnecessary, It looks like advertisement for Tom Holland (Don't worry Tom Holland is my favorite live action Spider-Man actor), and he looks way too young for his age. If anything he looks about the same age as Miles now. Removing the sense of that experienced mentor vibe. It's fine when Peter has his mask on, but with the mask off they look like two collage buddies having pizza on the roof.
Hopefully they'll fix this before the sequel.
"Spidey?!" Maverick called out.
"Yeah?!" Spider-Man answered in the back ground.
"Get the ***k out of the fountain of youth and brow a beard!" Maverick said to him.
"No problem!" Spider-Man answered back.
But despite that. Spider-Man Miles Morales does the character of Miles justice and it's a worthy continuation of the Insomniac Spider-Man series.
I give Spider-Man Miles Morales a solid 8.5 out of 10.
Now back to the story and one shot chapter I've just posted
For those of you that hadn't noticed. I left several cameos of miner characters from the Tangled tv series during Aiden's stories about his Christmas over the past years on their world. For the fans of that show, you know which ones.
Also my next plan for a Christmas one shot will take place during the first Christmas for Aiden's girlfriend Victoria. Along with the Frozen family and Aiden's dad J'son. I plan to make that one as touching as possible. With the right amount of humor. It's also the first time Baby Groot steps out of the flower pot and walks.
So please leave your ideas in the comment section below and let me know how to make that chapter work.
"Don't leave us hanging past Christmas okay people!" Maverick stated.
Also let me know what you thought of this chapter! Add this story to your favs and fallows list if you like what you've read so far.
And as always Disney/Square Enix fans!
MARRY FISTBUMP!
