Chapter 6: The Journey begins Part 2

The next day of the game, Sora returns to the island and continues to get more materials for their raft. While Leo is doing a mini challenges, fighting Final Fantasy friends and racing to touch the star tree against Riku, I heard a thunder outside of the window behind us, it's a little dark cloud, but no rain.

"Hm, sure looks like it's going to rain, but we weren't expecting it today. The weather news says it'll be sunny and clear night sky." I thought aloud.

"I guess it's another unconditional weather, as usual, It's Texas for ya." Leo said.

I'm concerned about it as I looked at the window again, I feel a little tingle in my body; I think it's somewhere in my heart is trying to tell me something, it's like something is about to happen, but what? Maybe I was just overthinking things. Then, I softly laughed as I remember Sora scowls at Riku after the race, it was kind of cute. Wait, did I just thought him being cute?

I shook my head a little as Leo was taking Sora to the secret place, he reaches a room made of walled boulders with chalk drawings scrawled on them. The only light is from a small hole in the ceiling. The last mushroom near a wooden board in the wall and plucks it from the ground. Behind the mushroom is an old drawing of Kairi and Sora that brings memories flooding back to him. He kneels on the ground, placing a hand on the drawing of Kairi with a soft smile. His mind flashes back to the two of them as 5-year-olds probably when they drew each other on the walls. Sora sits, picking up a rock and begins carving. He stops and stares at his work. He is giving Kairi a paopu fruit. Suddenly, he hears a noise behind him and stands up swiftly.

That wooden board in the wall looks very familiar, I've seen it before, but when exactly?

Sora: Wh-who's there?

I softly gasped as my eyes glimmered in fear. It's him! The brown hooded man! From when I was 4 at the park!

Brown Hooded Man: I've come to see the door to this world.

Sora: Huh?

Brown Hooded Man: This world has been connected.

Sora: Wh-What are you talking about?

Brown Hooded Man: Tied to the darkness... Soon to be completely eclipsed.

He's repeating the same words he said to me before. But why, what does he mean?

Sora: Well, whoever you are, stop freaking me out like this. Huh? (He notices a hooded figure standing in the shadows. An X is emblazoned upon its chest)

Sora: Wh-Where did you come from?

Brown Hooded Man: You do not yet know what lies beyond the door.

Sora: So, you're from another world!

Brown Hooded Man: There is so very much to learn. You understand so little.

Sora (glaring): Oh, yeah? Well, you'll see. I'm gonna get out and learn what's out there!

Brown Hooded Man: A meaningless effort. One who knows nothing can understand nothing.

The last words echoed me in my head once more. This guy is really freaking me out! Just what does he mean?! Wait a minute! Does it have something to do with the door I saw in the Tree of Memories? To be honest, me and Sora had similar looking doors we have in our secret places. I think this might be a huge clue for what this hooded man means by his words and how I am seeing things.

Sora looks toward the board in the wall. It resembles a door, but with no lock or doorknob like mines showed. As Sora turns back to the figure in the shadows, it has disappeared. Just like what happened to me before with him.

Later, Sora returns to the raft, where Kairi is leaning against the mast fiddling with something jingling in her hands. She said in the inaudible text box.

Kairi: This? I'm making a necklace of thalassa shells. In the old days, sailors always wore thalassa shells. They were supposed to ensure a safe voyage. See this? (She holds the unfinished star-shaped charm out to him)

Kairi: It's a charm to help us find each other if we ever get separated. The three of us will always be together.

"That's the new scene of this Final Mix! So that's how this star Kairi made had started." Leo comprehends.

"Yeah, I guess so." I said in agreement.

Then, here's another scene after the last day of finding supplies for their adventure; I guess they'll set sail in the morning. Sora and Kairi are sitting at the edge of the dock, watching the sunset. I have to say it looks so romantic and I'm kind of little jealous of Kairi, I know that those two are very close in KH II, but not yet tell if they're looking at each other more than friends.

Kairi: You know, Riku has changed.

Sora: What do you mean?

Kairi: Well... (She grows silent)

Sora: You okay?

Kairi: Sora, let's take the raft and go—just the two of us!

Sora: Huh?

Kairi (giggling): Just kidding.

Sora: What's gotten into you? You're the one that's changed, Kairi.

Kairi: Maybe... You know, I was a little afraid at first, but now I'm ready. No matter where I go or what I see, I know I can always come back here. (She turns to face him)

Kairi: Right?

Sora: Yeah, of course!

Kairi: That's good. (She pauses)

Kairi: Sora, don't ever change.

Sora: Huh? (Kairi stands up and takes a final look over the ocean. He stares up at her)

Kairi: I just can't wait. Once we set sail, it'll be great. (Sora follows her gaze as the sun sets.)

That is so sweet. Sora and Kairi's friendship are very strong, it makes me feel more stronger for the bond of Kingdom Hearts; not only because of the story, but with having feelings based on reality life.

Then, it looks like we're back at the Disney Castle and turns to a little melancholy scene concerning with Mickey's friends and queen. In the Library of Disney Castle with Pluto sleeping in his bed, Donald reads the letter aloud to Daisy and Queen Minnie. I followed reading the words of the letter he sends to Donald aloud as well.

'Donald,

Sorry to rush off without sayin' goodbye, but there's big trouble brewin'. Not sure why, but the stars have been blinkin' out, one by one. And that means disaster can't be far behind. I hate to leave you all but I've gotta go check into it. There're two people with "keys"—the keys to our survival. So I need you and Goofy to find them, and stick with them. Got it? We need those keys or we're doomed! So go to Traverse Town and find Leon. He'll point you in the right direction.

P.S.

Would ya apologize to Minnie for me? Thanks, pal.

The King'

"Two People? With keys? That's never happened before, not even in our cousins game years ago!" Leo said in shocked.

"What?!" I exclaimed.

That's the second time this nonexistent act happens! First, it was Daisy's last words from last scene at the castle and now it was the letter saying there are more than one person with a key. What the heck is going on?!

"Maybe it's another secret scene of this Final Mix. I didn't get to see this part when I was at my pal's house." Leo said.

"I don't know, bro, I got a bad feeling about this." I said in compromising.

I don't know what this is, but I feel my stomach started churning and heart slowly rapid of anxious. I took a deep breath and fan myself with my hand to cool down.

Daisy: Oh, dear! What could this mean?

Minnie: It means we'll just have to trust the king.

Goofy: Gawrsh, I sure hope he's all right.

Donald: Your Highness. Don't worry. We'll find the king and those "keys."

Minnie: Thank you, both of you.

Donald: Daisy, can you take care of the—

Daisy: Of course. You be careful, now, both of you.

Minnie: Oh, and to chronicle your travels, he will accompany you.

(She points toward the desk. Donald peers closer, seeing a small bug jumping on the table)

?: Over here! (The cricket stops jumping once he has Donald's attention)

"Jiminy!" Me and Leo happily said in unison.

Jiminy: Cricket's the name. Jiminy Cricket, at your service. (He bows with his top hat in his hand)

Minnie: We hope for your safe return. Please help the king. (Donald stands at attention. Joining Minnie and Daisy, Goofy salutes him, before Donald yanks him out to the door)

Donald: You're coming, too!

Me and Leo laughed at that act. "What was Goofy thinking? Trying to escape this mission so he can relax." I giggled.

"Probably." Leo chuckled.

Ah Goofy, you are always the funniest Disney character of all time.

Walking downstairs under the courtyard, Donald and Goofy are preparing to depart, but first, they had a short chat with Jiminy on how he got to the castle.

Goofy: Gawrsh, Jiminy, your world disappeared, too?

Jiminy: It was terrible. We were scattered. And as far as I can see, I'm the only one who made it to this castle. (Hangs on to Goofy's helmet)

Donald (sternly): Goofy?

Goofy: Oh, right... I gotcha. Ya mean, while we're in other worlds, we can't let on where we're from. Huh? We've gotta protect the world border.

Donald (Correct Pronunciation): "Order."

Goofy: Right. World order. (He laughs and Donald gives a sigh. They come upon a crown-shaped doorway)

Goofy: I guess we'll need new duds when we get there.

They enter the Gummi Ship Control Room, walking across the tiled floor.

"Hey look, there's the Gummi Ship." I pointed at the TV.

The ship is in the middle of the control room, but it looks different now. You see, usually there are 3 seats and now, there are 4 seats. Weird. Donald walks toward a large golden tube and puts a hand to his mouth.

Donald: Hello up there? Donald Duck to launch crew! Anytime you're ready.

In a hanging control booth, Donald's voice echoes out of the other end of the tube into the ears of Chip. He salutes and Dale, runs toward a control panel, and jumps up to turn a blue lever. Steam billows out of pipes in the ceiling as more gears spin on the walls. Dale leaps to the window and the two chipmunks watch a mechanical hand move across the room. The hand picks up Goofy, carrying him upside down with his arms outstretched. Donald, at his annoyance of being lifted the same way, crosses his arms and frowns, which made me giggled with my hand close to my mouth. As the cockpit opens, Pluto runs into the room and jumps into the Gummi Ship. A light spins on the wall as an interstellar runway opens, lights blinking along the path. A lift moves the rocket ship, aiming it at the tunnel, as Daisy and Queen Minnie enter the room to see their departure. Donald gives Daisy a thumbs-up and a wink as the rocket engines start up with a shower of flames. Donald points forward to the tunnel.

Donald: Blast off! (In the tunnel, a large neon arrow blinks on, pointing downward)

"Uh-oh." I said as my eyes bulged out a little.

The shaft below the Gummi Ship opens, and the ship falls through it, Donald and Goofy screaming with their bodies being pressed against the cockpit dome. The ship drops out of the world; almost like going to the bathroom doing number 2, and the engine bursts on, sending them into space in a glint sparkle.

Wow, I would imagine what it will be like if I was on a Gummi Ship, that would be cool going on an adventure in space like Star Trek or that funny movie, Galaxy Quest.

I looked at the window real quick and it's night time with clear deep blue sky and some bright stars. Meanwhile, Sora sits alone in his bedroom in the Destiny Islands. His window is open slightly, the only light coming from the moon outside and his dim desk lamp. Sora's thoughts drift to his earlier conversation with Kairi on the dock.

Kairi: I just can't wait. Once we set sail, it'll be great.

Thunder rumbles softly outside, catching Sora's attention and he gazes outside. In the darkness of the cloudy night sky, lightning flashes, striking near the small island.

Sora: A storm? (He sits up suddenly)

Sora: Oh, no, the raft! (Later, the wind blows through his open bedroom window, shifting the curtains as a voice enters his room)

Sora's Mom: Sora, dinner's ready. Come on down. Sora? (The room is empty.)

Before I could speak my thoughts to Leo, the TV screen started glitching a little and later more.

"Awe man! Why now?! The game is so new when I bought it and now, it decides to be annoying again like how all old games are." Leo angerly complained.

"Um Leo… I don't think this is a normal glitch." I said while pointed my finger at the TV.

He followed the direction of my finger and understood what I meant. We saw the TV glitch more and more and started to shake violently itself. I yelped as I climbed on Leo's bed and moving away close to the bed's headboard while he simultaneously did as well, it's also affecting electricity in his room; the lights fading in and out.

We hugged each other in fear as it continues to shake, then next thing I know there's a bright blue glow happening on the PlayStation 3. I leaned forward a little and saw the same glow swirl moving pattern from my last day of school celebration, I move back in fear and hug my brother tightly as I continue to look at the shaking TV.

In exactly 2 minutes, it stopped. It was silence in the room, me and Leo looked at each other as we calm down for a bit.

"Well, wasn't suspecting that to happen. I think we're fine now." Leo said.

But just when Leo reaches and barely touch the PlayStation controller, the TV boomed as a big dark purple fog beam comes out of it. Leo and I quickly duck down as it passed over our heads and phased through the window.

"On second thought, never mind." Leo funnily said as we raised up and had a blank face.

BOOM! THUNDER FLASH.

Both of us gasped as we moved to look at the window and saw a very dark cloud with strong wind. Leaves and twigs are roughly tapping against the window.

"This doesn't look like a normal thunderstorm, bro." I said in uninterest.

"Yeah, let's go see what's going on out there?" Leo said.

He left his bed and out of his room, I followed him to the front entrance door. I fear that something bad is going to happen.

Normal POV

(Insert: Kingdom Hearts – Night of Fate)

The Lozano kids are running down from the driveway to the street. And what they saw in the sky above the cul-de-sac is none other you have seen before. There is a large orb of energy hanging low in the sky, wind swirling in its dark depths.

Meanwhile in the actual game world, Sora arrives at Destiny Island and discover the dark orb as well.

Two usual teens are highly worried of what's happening as they thought the same question as they looked at the dark energy orb with bewildered eyes.

Split Screen

"What's that?" Sora and Laila simultaneously said. (End of the Split Screen)

Kingdom Hearts' world

Sora jumps onto the dock, seeing two other boats moored there.

Sora: Riku's boat. And Kairi's!

He looks around warily, seeing no one. In the dim landscape a pair of eyes emerges from the ground. The eyes illuminated the Shadow's body, its antennae wriggling as it scans its surroundings. Another appeared and Sora gasps in fear.

Laila's world

The wind is growing strong and brings shower to the street, which makes Laila's glasses lens splattered by few rain drops. Laila covers her face with her right arm to avoid the wind mix with rain, Leonel stood close to her as he trying to see the orb closely.

"What the heck is that?!" Leonel exclaimed.

"I don't know! But it doesn't look too friendly!" Laila exclaimed.

"Ugh! First the game and now, this! Can't this night get any worse?!" Leonel yelled.

After that, Laila sense something behind her which gives her chill on her spine. She looks slowly behind and saw a few dark puddles with pair of yellow eyes on the street.

"Um Leo…?" Laila whimpered.

"What!" Leonel yelled.

She pointed at the direction where she saw the dark creatures emerges as it forms into something they know clearly.

"HEARTLESS?!" Laila and Leonel exclaimed.

"In our world?! But how, they don't exist!" Laila yelled.

"Hahaha, they can't be real… it's all just an illusion." Leonel sheepishly said in fear.

Then, a heartless crawled over the lamppost and slash it in half to fall right in front of them, which made the kids jumped in fear.

"Unfortunately, Leo, they look REALLY real!" Laila said in panic.

The Heartless turn towards their direction and crawling towards them. They rise to prepare to attack the kids.

"Run!" Leonel yelled as he grabbed Laila's wrist and run back to the house. "We got to call 9-1-1!"

But as soon as they hurried to the door, more shadows appeared in front of them, blocking the front entrance door. Leo and Laila halted and moved backwards back to the street, they were gonna run the outlet entrance of their street, but the other shadows block it.

"We're surrounded!" Laila panicky said. "There's no way we could get rid of those things!"

Laila and Leo huddled together back-to-back as they faced shadows encompassing them around. Leo found a nearby wood stick, he quickly grabbed it, and swings it at them.

"Get back!" Leonel exclaimed as he continues to swing.

As Leonel tries to fight off those shadows and protect his sister, the heartless had other plans for the siblings. They managed to separate them; divided into two surround circles, one for Laila and another for Leonel.

"Laila!" Leonel called out to her.

"Leo!" Laila yelled, while stretching out her hand to reach him.

But she remains in the middle as shadows are closing in on her. Before barely touching her, she heard something in the sky, echoing in her head. She started seeing scenes that she hasn't seen them.

(QUICK FLASH TO SCENE)

Sora: Where's Kairi? I thought she was with you! (End Scene Flash)

Laila clenched and held her head from pain with her hands while gritted her teeth.

(QUICK FLASH TO SCENE)

Riku: The door has opened... (End Scene Flash)

"Huh?" Laila said as she looked up at the sky.

(QUICK FLASH TO SCENE)

Sora: What?

Riku (facing Sora): The door has opened, Sora! Now we can go to the outside world! (End Scene Flash)

"Argh! What door?! What stupid door are you talking about?!" Laila yelled at the sky, still holding her head.

(QUICK FLASH TO SCENE)

Sora: What are you talking about? We've gotta find Kairi!

Riku (abruptly): Kairi's coming with us! (Sora looks shocked)

Riku: Once we step through, we might not be able to come back. We may never see our parents again. There's no turning back. But this may be our only chance. We can't let fear stop us! I'm not afraid of the darkness! (End Scene Flash)

Laila screamed at the top of her lungs, trying to get the pain in her head away.

"Laila! Are you okay?" Leonel yelled, still avoiding the shadows.

The pain in her head vanished. Laila lowered her hands to the side, still aware that the heartless are still around her. What can she do?

Kingdom Hearts' world

Riku holds out a hand toward Sora to take.

Sora (uneasily): Riku...

A pool of darkness forms at Riku's feet, its tendrils licking at where he stands, wrapping around his impassive body. Sora rushes forward to save his friend, and the darkness grabs at him.

Laila's world

Suddenly, when Laila, still surrounded by Heartless, another pool of darkness forms at her feet. She gasped at it as she tries to get out of it, but she's stuck.

"Leo, help!" Laila exclaimed.

But Leonel no matter what way he turned; he gets stuck because the Heartless won't let him through.

Kingdom Hearts' world

Sora tries to reach toward Riku, but the weight of the darkness pulls him down. Riku's face is unchanging as Sora fails to grab his hand, the darkness proving too much for him. He blacks out for a second.

Laila's world

Still attempting to be free, Laila saw shadows stopped for a moment; shaking in excitement, and all at once, jumps at her. Which made Leonel saw the scene.

"Laila!" He cried out.

"AHHHHH!" Laila screamed as she raised both of her arms to cover her face.

At first, everything went dark black out… until…

'Awaken. Guardians of Light…' Mysterious feminine voice spoked.

Two unique teens from different worlds, both saw a light twinkles into existence. It starts out small, but soon grows into an incredible brightness. It fills Laila's vision, and she feels something metallic fall into her hand. She opens her eyes, nearly stumbling forward as the light dissipates. Witness that nothing happened, Laila looks around to see that there no Heartless around her, which made her odd.

"Laila…" Leonel whispered, with his eyes widened.

"What?" Laila asked.

She saw that Leonel wasn't looking at her but looking at below her. Following his line, she stares and gasps sharply at the large object or a weapon in her right hand.

Its gold bronze swirl border design handle shaped like a heart. And the gold blade shines like a sword, but the tip of the blade is pointed like the tiara teeth with 3 rhombus jewel stones colors: pink, light lime green, and deep sky blue, of a key. A gold keychain hangs from the pommel of the weapon, a mouse head with a crown.

"Is that a…" Laila whispered.

Meanwhile, Sora also retrieves a weapon of his own. Two teens looked at them for a moment before looking up at the sky once more. A name whispers softly in Sora and Laila's ears.

Mysterious Feminine Voice: 'Keyblade... Keyblade...'

"A key…blade?" Laila questioned softly.

"Laila!" Leonel called.

Laila looked at her brother who is in trouble, she looked at her weapon before she had determination face.

'I don't know where or how this thing came here, but I can't stand around and do nothing." She thought.

Laila took a fighting stance with both hands on the handle and run to the area where Leonel is. She doesn't know how to fight professionally, so she tries copy the ones she saw in movies a few.

She took out 3 shadows in one slash and jumps back to avoid the rest of the attack, slashing the rest of them one by one. Laila moves in front of Leonel to protect him, while he was trying to figure out what made the keyblade appeared.

"Laila… how did you get that? That's impossible in real life!" Leonel said in confusion, while looking at the weapon.

"I don't know." Laila said as she looked down at the keyblade. "It just appeared out of nowhere."

"Well, I don't know what happened. But I'm glad it happened, sort of." Leonel said. "Though, it looks very different than the one Sora had."

"Probably similar for the Kingdom Key. But less talking, more surviving!" Laila said, while looking around to see if there're any more Heartless.

"Uh, right!" Leonel said.

Kingdom Hearts' world

After Riku disappeared and discover the Keyblade, Sora fights off the shadows while looking for Kairi. So far, he couldn't find her anywhere around the island, so he headed to the one place where he and she went most of the time: Secret Place. But he sees a strange door over the entrance to it. The door opens and he runs inside to find...

Sora: Kairi!

She stands heavily in front of the door-like wall of the cave. A soft hum hangs in the air as she slowly turns toward him, her empty eyes weak with exhaustion.

Kairi: Sora...

Sora is startled to see her like this as she struggles to move forward to him, lifting a hand toward him. Suddenly, the door behind her gives way and a great wind billows forth. Sora stands his ground, covering his face as Kairi loses her grip, flying toward him. He opens his arms to catch her, but just as she reaches him, she vanishes, and he catches nothing. Astonished by this, he loses his ground as the dark wind knocks him harshly out of the cave.

Laila's world

The Lozano kids are defending themselves in case any shadows come back. Just when they're about to relax, a rumble was heard from the orb of darkness energy as they looked up.

"Oh, now what?" Leonel complained.

The orb then releases a big dark wind blow towards them, knocks them away as they yelled. They came to after passing out a bit on the street with a grunt, Laila's braids are free; making it look wild from the strong wind. The purple sky stretching around the cul-de-sac. Laila and Leonel kneel in the concrete looking around at the neighborhood below them. Large chunks of the area have broken off and risen into the sky towards the dark orb.

"Woah!" Laila and Leo exclaimed in horror.

The orb looms above him, lightning crackling in its dark depths as the wind swirls in the air with rocky and wooden debris. Laila senses a presence behind her, and stands, turning around to see the gigantic being from Sora's dreams, Darkside, gazing down at her through black tendrils. Laila had her eyes widened in terror as her hair blew around her head.

"It's that Darkside creature Sora had fought!" Leonel exclaimed.

"Darkside?" Laila yelled in question.

Both stood up and Laila takes out the Keyblade as Darkside kneels on the ground. Energy pulses in the heart-shaped hole in its torso and it releases beams that target them, both dodged quickly.

"Try to hit the arm! It'll be easy for you!" Leonel yelled from the side edge of the street.

Laila nodded, stood up, and face this enemy.

'I may be scared, but I have to defeat this thing to stop this madness!" She thought.

She begins attacking its arm, while dodging the beams of energy. Darkside stands, its hands out of reach of her, and it pauses, peering at her through glowing yellow eyes. Laila waits, watching its every move. It leans forward clenching its hand into a fist, gathering strength, before slamming the fist into the ground, spewing darkness along the sandy floor. Shadows emerge from the dark pool.

"Oh, come on!" Leonel exclaimed, raising his hands up.

Looking around to find another solution and found one, Laila races through them to the Darkside's wrist, running along its black arm. She makes her way to Darkside's shoulder and slams the blade into the creature's face. After few more strikes, she beat the thing. The wind howls louder as the neighborhood creeps further toward the orb of energy. Laila drops to the ground as Darkside is pulled into the air.

"Nice job, sis." Leonel compliment.

"Heh, thanks." Laila replied.

The ground begins to shake. The wind whipping at them, Leonel held onto Laila from each other hands and grabs a fire hydrant close by and holds on for dear life. Every muscle in their body tenses as the wind pulls Laila upward. Her fingers slowly losing their grip.

"Leo, I can't hold on much longer!" She yelled.

"Just hold on! I'm not gonna let you go!" He yelled back.

However, since her hands were so smooth, it makes it easy for her to slowly slipping. The Lozano kids grunted as they tried to hang on more, but Laila got unlucky, her fingers slipped as she flew away.

"LAILA!" Leonel shouted, still outstretching his hand to her.

"LEOOOOOO!" She screamed as she took flight and got sucked into the orb.

After that, everything went black.

Leo's POV

Everything is black as I grunted, I slowly opened my eyes, and see the night sky. I found myself lying on the ground of the concrete, I was standing up as I look around the neighborhood; normal as usual.

Man, that was some dream I had with Laila, or wasn't it? I say it's ridiculous whatever happened; me seeing Heartless, and Laila has a keyblade. I probably was before pausing the game, laying on the trunk of my dad's car looking at the stars with her and fall on the driveway. But it's getting late, I should go get my sis.

"That was some fall I had. Well, that's over now. C'mon, Laila, it's getting late." I said aloud.

All I hear is no response. I looked next me and found the other side of the trunk empty. Hmmm, she probably went back to her room. I walked back inside the house and checked, but the light in her is not on and when I see her bed, she's not there! The bed is well made without a blanket moved.

I started to look around the house, still no sign of her. So, I decided to go back to the driveway and looked.

"Alright, Laila, enough of your games. It's time we go back inside and get ready for bed, we'll continue with the game in the morning if that's what you're worried about." I called as I look several places in the front of the house.

"Laila. Laila!" I shouted, while walking down the driveway to the street.

"Hey! Keep it down, will ya?! I'm trying to read my novel book!" A neighborhood girl across the street from her window yelled.

"Sorry!" I apologized to her as she moves away.

I sighed while placing my hands on my hips. Where is that girl? If I don't find her soon, I will take her piggy bank. As I was about to walk back inside, I saw a sparkle glint at the corner of my eye. I walked closer to what it is and…

I gasp in horrified, slowly kneel, and picked up a silver chain in front of my face. This jewelry is none other jewelry… It's Laila's clover heart locket! What's it doing on the ground?! Laila never takes it off or left it out of sight! Unless…

When I stood up, with knowing, I gaped as I recall a memory that happened before when I was in my room with her, playing Kingdom Hearts. Then, that means… this wasn't a dream! I looked up at the sky.

"LAAAAILAAAAAA!" I screamed top of my lungs at the sky.

Normal POV

Unbeknownst, a blue swirling particles trail was behind Leonel and went to the side of the house. It phased through his bedroom window from the outside then heads its way to phase into the PlayStation 3 system. By that action, it made the TV turned on as it glows dimly to show the heart symbol of Kingdom Hearts.

Author's note:

Whew! This is, I repeat, this is the LONGEST chapter ever! Around 9,000 words, that's a new record for writing. So, I decided to put them in 2 parts to make this adventure better and even.

Now, clothing reference! I want to make Laila had some clothes like Sora's from the first Kingdom Hearts game. In case you are confused of the jacket and flower design of hers, here are the pictures to look at:

White cropped sleeveless zip-through hoodie: www2 dot hm dot com/en_us/productpage dot 1018218004 dot html or google search the title.

White sneakers with black Lola flowers: poshmark dot com/listing/MICHAEL-KORS-Lola-flower-sneakers-NWT-5ce8645916105d318f1532e0, they're NOT slip-on shoes. Sneakers with black laces.

Well, I'm going to take a break from this story and work on my 1st Yu-Gi-Oh! Fanfic. I don't know how long, but I'll be back for this story.
