"Hazard and Miracles"

Here is another oneshot. I hope you all enjoy and please review!

A caramel haired girl with crimson eyes was looking over her clothes for what to wear for her date while a red dinosaur with gold eyes and black markings watched from the bed with a curious look.

"No, this is no good." The girl said as she threw a pink sundress to the side.

"Takatomon, why you making a mess?" Guilmon asked his Tamer.

Takato Matsuki turned around to him with a stressed look on her face as she held a white blouse to her chest.

"I can't figure out what to wear for my date this afternoon!" she whined as she threw the blouse down.

The Tamer of Hazard was asked out by Davis Motomiya, the child of Miracles and leader of the second generation.

It had shocked her beyond belief when he had been a blushing mess as he asked her out and she had been just as bad as him as she stuttered out a 'yes' which made him smile in relief as he then set the date and then ran off, barely containing a 'whoop' of joy as he went.

Guilmon made a purring sound of interest.

"If Davismon asked you out, then doesn't he like you the way you are?" he asked.

Takato paused at that and turned to him with a smile at how innocent her partner was and how he was able to come up with something that was so simple and true.

"Yeah. I guess I should stop freaking out and just choose something I like and feel good in." she said.

Guilmon purred in happiness as his partner calmed down and then picked up all of her clothes that she had tossed around her room and then looked through them calmly.

She chose a dark blue spaghetti strap top, a simple cream colored skirt and red flats while she tied her hair back into a half up and half down style while her bangs were brushed to the side so her crimson eyes were seen better.

The 16 year old gave herself a smile as she looked into the mirror, Guilmon walking over to get a better look.

"Takatomon looks pretty!" he exclaimed making her blush and hug him around the neck.

"Well, I better get going. I'm meeting Davis at the park in twenty minutes. See you later, boy!" she called as she ran out of the room with her purse slung over her shoulder.

"Bye!" Guilmon called.

Running out the door and down the street, Takato felt her heart pounding in her chest as she went eagerness and a bit of nervousness was consuming her as she went.

She couldn't help but wonder what Davis had planned for them on their date, hoping he was also nervous so she would feel a bit better, then thought that she was being a bit selfish in thinking this.

Soon enough, she made it and found Davis was there waiting on her dressed in a pair of jeans, gold and black sneakers and a clean white t-shirt that had a v shaped neckline with a black button up vest over it.

Blushing brightly at the sight of the child of Miracles, Takato cleared her throat making him look over and smiled at the girl as he walked over.

"Hey, there ya are. I was almost scared you were gonna stand me up." Davis joked.

"Sorry, am I really late?" Takato asked.

"Nah, you're just on time. You look great by the way. Come on; let's go get something to eat." He said holding out his hand to her.

Smiling, Takato took his offered hand and let him lead her off down the street as they talked about whatever they found interesting as they found a ramen shop and walked inside, the scent of the noodles, meat and vegetables filling the shop to welcome them.

"Wow, this smells so good." She said.

"Yeah, I thought you might like it. Marcus told me about this place and said it would be great for a date or just hanging out." Davis explained.

This was a surprise considering how protective Marcus was over Takato, viewing her as a second sister, but the street fighter knew that he could trust Davis to treat her right since he was always kind to her when they first met.

Besides, Davis had already gotten a lecture or more like a threat from Marcus about what would happen if anything bad happened to Takato because of him.

"That was nice of him." Takato sounded surprised which made Davis smirk.

"Yeah, I know. Come let's go eat." He said.

They both walked over to the grill where they could watch the food being made and sat down, the chef asking them what they wanted and they ordered, talking to each other as they waited for the food to be made.

While they ate, they just talked to each other about random topics that came up, then walked hand in hand out of the restaurant, looking around to figure out what to do next.

They just walked to the zoo, Takato loving the baby animals and getting to watch the wolves, elephants, tigers, lions, giraffes and all over types of animals.

Davis even bought her a stuffed animal to remember the day; a penguin that had big blue eyes and she loved it so much that she kissed her date on the cheek as a thank you which made them both blush.

Afterwards they just went to the park to walk around, seeing different people walking around, playing soccer, getting ice cream or even having picnics.

They then chose a bench to sit down on and just enjoyed the warm sun and the nice breeze that blew their hair around their faces.

Takato was hugging the stuffed animal to her chest as she leaned against Davis' side, his arm around the bench behind her shoulders.

"So how was the date?" he asked suddenly.

Blushing happily, Takato smiled up at him.

"It was great. I had a lot of fun today." She confessed.

"Well, I hope that means we'll be doing this again soon." Davis said with a hopeful look in his dark chocolate brown eyes.

"Of course it does. Maybe we can hang out at home with Guilmon and Veemon next time. I can teach you guys how to make digimon shaped bread." Takato offered.

"Sounds like a plan. Veemon and all the other digimon love that stuff. Hey, maybe we can even try to make digimon shaped cookies or mangu." Davis suggested.

Takato giggled happily at that as she rested her head on his shoulder as they kept people watching, Davis placing a kiss to her head before he looked over the park.

The end.
