You only saw bits and pieces of what went on after you were captured by the nazgul, though it was strange and felt as if you were seeing the world through eyes that were not your own. You saw Frodo's attempt to stand up to them after he crossed the ford. You heard some kind of chanting and being swept away by the sudden flood of the river. Then it was utter blackness for awhile.

You awoke to find yourself tossed onto the shore. The garments of a ringwraith nearby. You assumed he was still in the area and tried to drag yourself to your feet to get away from the area but you found yourself to be too weak to even move. Just before you passed out again, you saw several pairs of boots running in your direction. "She's still alive!" one of them says. Someone picks you up and carries you off.

You feel as though your consciousness is floating through a void of darkness. Until you come upon a glowing red light that leads you through the darkness. You follow it and it brings you out into Baraddur. Sauron was waiting for you.

"I can still help you," he says, "its not too late." He reaches out and gently touches the side of your face. "I can reunite you with your memories," he says softly.

"Your offer is tempting, Sauron," you say. You want to surrender to the temptation, to get your memories back. "But your price is too high."

"Is it too high? You don't know what waits for you on the other side of the void from which you just came... and nor do I. If you return, there is a high likelihood that you will be an unwilling servant of the Nazgul. If you choose to stay with me, you can keep your own free will and your memories will be restored to you." Sauron studies your face. You actually begin to consider his offer. "Come now Moraina, don't you want to know?" Sauron tempts. "You'll be free from your pains and your poisoning." He touches your shoulder.

"Will it hurt?" you ask, wanting to submit to him but still trying to delay things.

"Not at all," he replies smoothly. "It's as simple as-"

Just as Sauron was about to work his magic, you hear a voice calling to you as if from very far off. "Aiweneth," it says. As the voice repeats, it slowly starts to sound nearer.

Sauron give you a strange look. "Aiweneth?"

"That's what they call me." You turn away from him and head back out into the void, this time following a voice rather than a light. You followed it into a bright and beautiful place, but you grew tired and found you could follow it no more for awhile and the voice ceased. The voice returned later after you had rested awhile. It came and went a few times like this until you managed to find your way out.

You finally awoke and found yourself in a bright and airy room. You recognized it to be the work of elves and realized that you were in Rivendell. You look over and see Aragorn sitting next to your bed.

"Welcome back to reality," he greets you, smiling softly. "How do you feel?"

"Tired, alive, not at all like a ringwraith," you reply.

Aragorn raises an eyebrow at you, "An interesting description..."

You shake your head at him, not wanting to tell him about your visit with Sauron. You felt ashamed that you had considered Sauron's offer and that you had come so close to accepting it. "How is Frodo?" you ask him, changing the subject.

"Frodo is doing well. He is still under the effects of the poison but he is expected to be fine within another few days. He was a little harder for Elrond to recall."

You contemplated things for a moment. "What happened after the nazgul grabbed me?"

"That is a long story Aiweneth, you should rest," Aragorn says, as he gets up to leave. You're dissatisfied with this response and you have many other questions you want to ask, your feelings manifesting themselves on your face. "I'll answer all your questions give you a full recount of everything later after you've rested."

"Wait, Aragorn," you call out. He sticks his head back in the room. "How long was I out for?"

"Two nights and one day," he says. He leaves and closes the door behind him.

At first you wonder just how exactly you are supposed to rest more when you have already been unconscious for so long. At some point while pondering this, you did actually manage to fall asleep again.
