"The Princess of Darkness"

Someone requested some more Daiken/Kensuke stories, so here's a new one. Please enjoy and review!

In the Digital World, there was a stone monument floating through the air over the ocean making some of the Digimon swim deeper into the water to escape.

The sight of the base that belonged to the Digimon Emperor frightened all the Digimon, especially when the Digidestineds weren't around to protect them.

Inside of the base were a group of Digimon that had glowing red eyes walking around the halls with black rings around their necks or their arms.

A girl dressed in a pair of black spandex pants, black boots and a black tank top that showed off her stomach was seen walking down the darkened halls.

She had mahogany hair, tanned skin and chocolate brown eyes that seemed to glow red in the light.

At her side was a two foot tall bipedal dragon who had a white chest and the lower half of his face was white while he had a yellow V on his forehead and a yellow triangle under both his eyes.

They both walked down the hall, passing by the Gazimon, Vegiemon and Goblimon who nodded at the duo.

Turning the corner, the girl and her Digimon stopped in front of a door that was made out of metal.

Once they stood in front of the doors, they slid open electronically and revealed the large room before them that had TV monitors all over the walls.

A teenaged boy was inside sitting in a chair as he watched the monitors that showed off parts of the Digital World such as the forest, the ocean, the mountains and the various villages that were located all over the Digital World.

Standing at the human male's side was a caterpillar Digimon that had a green body with purple markings and had large blue eyes.

"Any luck?" the girl asked.

The caterpillar turned to the girl and smiled happily as he rushed over to the girl who picked the Digimon up and hugged him closely to her chest.

"Not at the moment." the Digimon Emperor sighed.

The dragon then bounced over to the human male's side as he peered up at him curiously and then blinked as he looked over at the screens.

"No weird Digidestined kids yet?" Veemon asked.

"No." the Digimon Emperor groaned as he massaged the space between his eyes.

Walking over to the male, the girl smiled comfortingly at him as she carried Wormmon in her arms.

Bending down to be level with the Digimon Emperor, the girl pressed a kiss to his cheek making him smirk at her.

"Don't worry, my King. You'll find those brats and then give them a firm beating. Just relax and go get some sleep." the girl whispered kindly.

Daisuke Motomiya then stood up properly as she pet Wormmon's head and smiled down at her boyfriend as he continued to search his monitors for the humans who called themselves the Digidestineds.

"You can't rule without getting any sleep or eating properly." Daisuke told him.

"I'll be fine. I just need to locate those digi-punks first." the Digimon Emperor said.

Frowning at this fact, Daisuke then set the Rookie level Digimon down and stepped in front of her boyfriend's line of sight.

Seeing his girlfriend blocking his view, even though he prefered staring at the girl's beautiful body, he frowned up at her.

"Daisuke, what are you doing?" he asked.

"No more working for you! It's not healthy. You are going to bed and getting a good night's sleep. Now come on!" Daisuke said forcefully as she grabbed his arm and hauled him to his feet.

The ruler yelped at his girlfriend's sudden strength and allowed her to pull him out of the room knowing that his protests would be met on deaf ears.

Veemon and Wormmon watched their partners leave the room with amused expression as they grinned at each other.

"She has him wrapped around her finger." the dragon sang.

"Shh! They'll hear you." Wormmon whispered, but was still chuckling.

He was just so thrilled that his Master had found someone to care for him and look after his health like Daisuke.

Veemon was also happy that his partner was with a man that made her feel special and genuinly cared for her the way she needed.

The Digimon Emperor held hands with his girlfriend as she led him down the hallway, making their way down to the bedroom.

Lifting a hand up, Daisuke placed her hand on the scanner that glowed red as it checked her finger prints and then the door beeped as it slid open to reveal the room.

"Now, get out those clothes." Daisuke ordered.

This sudden order stunned the Emperor, but then he smirked as he wrapped his arms around the girl's waist and pulled her close to his chest and he leaned his face down to peer deeply into her eyes.

"My, aren't we feeling feisty today." he cooed.

Realizing what he could have misenterprited, the girl blushed dark red in embarressment as she pouted up at him which amused the boy.

"That's not what I meant!" she cried as she spun around and pushed him onto his king sized bed.

When the Emperor landed on the sapphire colored slik blanket, he chuckled at the look on his girlfriend's face, enjoying the fire that was burning in her eyes.

"Well, maybe you should have explained it better, my Dark Princess." he cooed seductively.

Daisuke growled in annoyance as her cheeks puffed out which the Emperor found truely adorable on her.

"Just change into your pajamas!" she snapped as she then left to get her boyfriend some food to eat while he relaxed.

Smirking at how annoyed he got his girlfriend, the Emperor stood up as he pulled his glasses off, revealing his face.

Ken Ichijouji then stripped himself down to his black boxers and then walked over to his dresser to look for his pajamas to wear.

A few weeks ago, Ken had been alone with only Wormmon and his slaves in the lair and it had been a bit lonely though the young ruler wouldn't admit it.

He also started to grow tired of how easy it was to take over the Digital World and wished for someone to actually challenge him and make his domination more rewarding.

Instead, it was like taking candy from a baby.

But then, his prayers had been answered when the Digidestineds entered the Digital World and started to challenge him, defeating his slaves and destroying his towers.

And then he had met Daisuke...

She wasn't the most beautiful girl on the Digidestined team, that role fell to Kari Kamiya the Princess of Light.

She wasn't the most intelligent, that was the role Yolei Inoue had taken up.

What Daisuke truely was, was a kind hearted, determined and stubborn girl who never gave up after a million defeats until she won.

It was these reasons that Ken had decided to choose her to be his consort and had even asked her on countless occasions to be his Princess of Darkness, but she refused him each time.

Determined to make her his, Ken had designed a dark ring specially made for her so that she would become his!

Once it was done, he opened up a portal on her computer and he was able to enter her room and he snuck over to her bed while she slept contently.

He then slipped the ring around her wrist and then placed another ring around Veemon's ear before he then left to eagerly await his Princess.

The next day, the duo of Courage and Friendship used the portal in the computer at school to arrive in the Digital World and wandered around until Wormmon arrived on Airdramon to pick them up.

Daisuke was then given her new clothing to wear and she had even added her own persona into them to make the clothing seem more stylish.

Ken had expected the girl and her dragon to become his loyal slaves, but they still kept their same personalities and free will.

The only thing that had changed was that Daisuke's hidden attraction to Ken had surfaced and Veemon was loyal to his human and would go along with whatever she wanted because he wanted her to be happy.

The other Digidestineds had been trying to contact their leader on her D-Terminal to find out where she had been for the last three weeks, but she refused to answer them.

Hearing the door open, Ken turned towards it and saw his girlfriend walk into the room carrying a tray that had food placed on it.

"Here. Eat up. You'll need your energy for defeating the wannabes." she said as she set the tray down on the desk.

Walking over to his girlfriend, Ken wrapped his arms around her waist and rested his head on her shoulder as he pressed a kiss to her neck.

"You really do spoil me." Ken whispered into the juction of Daisuke's neck and she moaned with a smile.

"No. I just take care of you." Daisuke said as she turned her head and pressed her lips against his.

The Emperor slowly started pulling his girlfriend back toward the bed with him and she giggled into the kiss as she turned around in her boyfriend's arms and wrapped her arms up around his neck.

Smirking when he felt the back of his knees touch the front of his bed, Ken then spun and pushed the girl onto the matress and she bounced a bit.

"You better not be playing with me right now." she pouted.

"I can't help it. I love to irritate you. The look on your face is just so pretty." Ken cooed.

Daisuke rolled her eyes as she then rolled onto her side and grabbed one of the pillows and hugged it to her chest.

"Just eat your food. Then we can take a nap." she said as she breathed in the scent on the bedsheets.

It made her feel relaxed and closed her eyes as she started to feel the sweet embrace of morpheus take over.

The sight of his beautiful love slowly drifting off to sleep on his bed made a gentle smile form on Ken's face as he stared down at her.

"As you wish, my Princess." Ken whispered as he leaned down and pressed a kiss to her temple which made her smile tiredly.

Pulling away, Ken then gathered his tray and looked over the food that his girlfriend had gathered for him and smiled when he realized that she had been the one to cook it.

There was tomato soup, a grilled cheese sandwhich and a glass of milk.

Grabbing a slice of the sandwhich, he then started eating it as the soft snores of his girlfriend filled the room.

After he finished his food, the boy gulped down his milk and then set the tray aside on a dresser before he then made his way over tot he bed.

Daisuke was resting peacefully on top of the bed, cuddling a pillow to her chest like a teddy bear and Ken pouted as he felt a bit jealous of the pillow.

Gently lifting his girlfriend up, the indigo haired male pulled the sheets back and settled the girl down before Ken then laid down beside her.

Grabbing the sheets, he pulled them up over their bodies and then he turned over to Daisuke and moved closer to her.

Feeling content with himself and his thoughtfull girlfriend, the Digimon Emepror allowed himself to let his guard down and fell asleep, sharing the bed with his Princess of Darkness.

(A few days later...)

Veemon was humming 'Never Had a Friend Like Me' from a Disney movie he had watched while he was strolling down the halls.

As he hummed, he started dancing around as he swirled around, almost jumping on Wormmon who was walking around the corner.

The two Rookies then shrieked in shock when they saw each other, but then relaxed.

"Heh, sorry about that." Veemon grinned nervously.

"It's fine. Have you seen Ken or Daisuke?" Wormmon asked.

"Hmm? I think they went out on a date. Daisuke wanted to go to the beach, so she probably convinced Ken to take her. She has him whipped!" Veemon chuckled.

Wormmon rolled his eyes in good humour at his friend since he knew it was true.

His master was madly in love with the former leader of the Digidestineds and would do whatever he could to make her happy.

Hearing a footsteps, the two Digimon then smiled when they realized it was their humans and rushed off to go greet them.

As they rounded the corner, they were happy to find Ken with his arm wrapped firmly around Daisuke's waist as the two gazed lovingly up at each other.

"Welcome back!" Wormmon greeted making the couple look at their Digimon.

"Did ya have fun?" Veemon asked with his arms folded behind his back.

"It was great. The beach was so beautiful." Daisuke smiled as she cuddled up into her boyfriend's side.

"It was a wonderful afternoon. Also, those lousy Digi-brats haven't shown themselves for a few days. Things just seem to be looking up for us." Ken said.

An alarm then started blarring making the group look up at the red light that was flashing on the ceiling above them.

"I think ya spoke too soon." Veemon commented.

Growling in annoyance, Ken then took off down the hallway towards the control room, slipping into Digimon Emperor mode while Daisuke shook her head at him.

"I'm gonna beat those jerks for ruining our day." she huffed.

Veemon gave an amused grin as he and Wormmon then chased after their humans, following them into the room.

The Digimon Emperor was seated in his chair, typing away on his keyboard as the computer screens showed off an image of the four Digidestineds and their Digimon wandering around in the forest.

"What are they doing?" Daisuke asked as she narrowed her eyes at the screen.

Wormmon then jumped up on her back so he could peer over her shoulder to watch.

"Obviously they're trying to destroy another one of my control spires. Veemon, get the Airdramon ready!" the Emperor ordered.

"Yes, sir!" Veemon saluted as he then rushed off to the pens where the Airdramon were kept.

Sighing in boredom, Daisuke then leaned against the back of the chair as her eyes followed her former friends' movements.

"Ugh, they are such annoying goody goodies! And check out their outfits. What did I ever see in these guys? They are so lame!" the Princess of Darkness said.

Smiling, the Emperor craned his neck to look up his girlfriend and he reached up, pulling his Princess down to place a kiss on her lips.

Wormmon blushed as he buried his face in his claws as he watched the two in love teenagers kiss.

Ken then nibbled on Daisuke's lip making her giggled as her mouth slowly opened and the indigo haired male took his oppertunity to thrust his tongue inside her warm, wet cavern.

As they continued on with their make-out, they were suddenly interupted by the sound of the Digidestineds fighting off a group of Monochromon.

"Son of a gun!" Daisuke pouted.

"Let's get moving. I'm sure you ex-friends would be excited to meet your new boyfriend." Ken smirked.

"Fine. If they freak or anything about it, I'm gonna get violent." the Princess of Darkness stated as she moodily stalked off, Wormmon still clinging to her back.

"She is too cute when she's mad." Ken mused as he then stood and chased after the girl.

Soon enough, the two humans and their Digimon were riding on the head of the long bodied green and red dragon that flew through the air.

Airdramon found the area where the Digidestineds were and the four humans were fighting a Monochromon.

Nefertimon and Pegasusmon used their Golden Noose attack to tie the charging dinosaur up while Halsemon swooped in and used his Eagle Eye to destroy the black ring that was wrapped around Monochromon's body.

"Come on, we need to get to the control spire." TK Takaishi called.

"Hold it." the Emperor said as Airdramon flew in the path of the winged horse.

The Digidestineds gasped or glared at the sight of the male as he smirked at them, holding up his cape as if he were consealing something behind it.

"It's the Emperor!" Cody Hida pointed as Digmon stood by his side protectively.

"What are you doing here?" Yolei Inoue demanded.

"Well, I was enjoying a nice relaxing day at the beach, but I was sadly interupted by you all rudely destroying my control spires. Honestly, children these days have no respect for others' property." the Emperor sighed in mock disapointment.

Smirking, the male then looked over the group to see them all glaring up at him in anger and annoyance.

"Oh, it seems as though you're missing someone. Where's your cute little leader?" he asked.

"None of your buisness!" Yolei spat at the boy.

"Well, without her here, this is just going to be boring. She makes these 'battles' so fun. She's also very cute when she's mad." the Emperor smirked.

Kari Kamiya was frowning sadly since their leader had been missing for a while and no one knew where she had gone off too.

She had known the girl ever since they were little girls, even longer than she had known TK and she never seemed to treat her like a friend.

It seemed as though she only started missing Daisuke after she had disappeared and it didn't seem fair at all based on the way she had been treated as a nuisnace.

"We don't need Daisuke to defeat you." TK glared.

A loud scoff was heard making everyone blink in confusion as the Emperor lowered his cape and revealed the figure hiding behind him.

"You're joking right?" Daisuke asked as she crossed her arms and stared down at her former friends.

Wormmon was seated on her shoulder while Veemon stepped up beside his partner, looking ready for battle.

"It can't be!" Cody gasped.

"Is that really..." Kari trailed off as her cherry colored eyes grew wide.

"I'd like to introduce you to the Princess of Darkness!" the Emperor declared as he smirked at the sight of the shock on the Digidestineds' faces.

"Princess of Darkness?" Kari asked.

"There's no way. Daisuke and Veemon would never willingly join you!" Cody shook his head in disbelief.

"Looks like denial isn't just a river in Egypt." the Princess of Darkness commented.

"I thought it was called the nile river." Veemon said in confusion.

Daisuke, Ken and Wormmon all sighed at that as they decided not to explain the comment to him and allowed the dragon to puzzle over it and figure it out himself.

"Yolei, look there." Halsemon spoke as he pointed out the jewlery that the former duo of Courage were wearing.

Looking at her partner in confusion, the child of Love then looked at her former friends and gasped at what she saw.

"Guys, look! Daisuke and Veemon are both wearing dark rings!" tha lavender haired girl announced.

"They're what?!" Digmon yelped.

"Impossible!" Pegasusmon gasped.

"Ken created a dark ring for humans too? How did he do that?" TK asked in pure shock.

If the Digimon Emperor was capable of reaching the duo of Courage and placing rings on them, then he could get to all of them!

"And how did he get it onto Daisuke?" Cody asked.

"Oh, I have my ways." the Emperor grinned as he admired the stunned looks as everyone stared at his Princess.

"Digimon Emperor, what have you done to our friends?" Kari demanded.

"Friends? Hey, Daisuke, did you know that they were our friends?" Veemon questioned his partner.

"It's news to me, Veemon." Daisuke responded.

"Daisuke, you have to remember us. We're friends. You and I have known each other since we were five." Kari said.

"Oh, I remember." Daisuke chirped.

"You do?" Cody asked hopefully.

"Uh huh." she nodded cheerfully, but then a look of anger and disgust filled her eyes as she glared down at the group.

"I remember how you all made fun of me, laughed at me and didn't think I was good at being a leader and treated me like a joke. You guys were never my friends. You don't care about me, so stop feeding me all these lies. It's just sad." the Princess of Darkness scoffed.

TK stared at the girl in horror while Yolei was frowning at her in anger, Cody was feeling guilty and Kari was distressed.

Did they really hurt her by all their teasing?

Daisuke had always been a sensitive and emotional girl and got angered easily.

The Digimon Emperor smirked as he pulled his girlfriend into his side, kissing the side of her head lovingly and the Digidestineds gaped in shock.

"With friends like you, who needs enemies?" he commented.

"Can we just get out of here? This is so boring! And besides, we were supposed to be spending the day together." Daisuke pouted at him.

Ken was tempted to kiss those rosey pink lips that were pouting at him so cutely, but resisted the urge to do so.

He didn't want to traumatize the Digidestineds even more than they already were.

Maybe when they met again on a different day he would happily kiss him Princess in front of them to stake his claim on her, but he had done enough damage to them for today.

"Very well. These fools aren't worth it anymore. You were the only one who made these little skirmishes fun anyway." Ken cooed as she cuddled up to his chest.

"We're not letting you get away!" TK yelled as Pegasusmon charged at them.

Wormmon frowned as he then jumped in front of his partner and friends to protect them and shot out webbing from his mouth.

The webbing hit Pegasusmon in the face and wrapped around his eyes, blinding him.

Veemon then followed with with swinging his arms around wildly and punched the horse, sending him crashing to the ground.

Ken and Daisuke then caughed their Digimon who had just taken out a Champion level armour Digimon with one move each.

Down below, the Digidestineds were all staring with mouths agap and eyes wide in shock as the child of Hope rushed over to his partner.

"Pegasusmon!" he gasped.

"Nice work, guys." Daisuke smiled as she hugged Veemon who grinned proudly at his work.

"Well done, Wormmon." Ken complimented his partner who blushed happily at the praise.

"They...they just defeated Pegasusmon. How did they do that without even digivolving?" Yolei breathed out in disbelief.

"Until next time!" Daisuke waved with a cheerful expression as Airdramon then took off back towards the base.

"No! Stop! Daisuke!" Kari called as she started running after them.

Nefertimon then flew in front of the child of Light, cutting off her path and the girl gave her partner a confused look.

"Kari, you have to let them go." the cat creature told her.

"But we can't! Daisuke and Veemon are under the Digimon Emperor's control. Who knows what he could be forcing them to do?" Kari exclaimed in worry.

"I can't believe Ken actually needed to put a dark ring on someone just to get a girlfriend. And why would he choose Daisuke anyway?" Yolei demanded with her hands on her hips.

"Well, he has always been a little obsessed with her. I mean, whenever he appears, he's always trying to get a rise out of her." Digmon spoke up as he rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly.

"Which leads to the question; how did he get close enough to her to get that dark ring on her if she hated him?" Halsemon asked.

"Who knows? But we have to get back and tell Izzy what happened." Cody said.

Kari looked down sadly as she wondered how Tai would take the news of his little follower becoming the 'unwilling' girlfriend of their enemy.

(At the base...)

Daisuke squealed in delight as Ken scooped her up into his arms and carried her off to the living room, placing butterfly kisses all over her face as he did so.

Wormmon and Veemon followed after them with smiles on their faces.

"Hey, we make a pretty good team." the dragon spoke up.

"Yes, we do." the caterpillar nodded.

Laughter made the two Rookies look over to where their humans were and they smiled at seeing Ken chasing Daisuke down the hall as she blew a kiss to him.

Ken could have easily caught her since he was known as the Rocket due to his speed, but he didn't want to end the game too fast.

Making her way into the living room, Daisuke giggled as she danced away from Ken as he jumped at her, barely slipping from his grasp.

Running over to the couch, the girl bounced onto the cushions and her boyfriend pounced on her making her giggle as he wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his lap as he kissed the tip of her nose.

Blushing at the act, Daisuke placed her hands on Ken's shoulders and pulled him down towards her as she pressed her forehead against his.

"So, do you think those guys are really gonna come after you to 'save' me?" she asked as she made quote gestures with her fingers.

"Please! Without you, they're worthless. They need you. Of course they're going to come for you." Ken scoffed.

"Well, tough luck. I'm happy here." Daisuke smiled as she then leaned into her boyfriend's embrace as she moved her arms to encircle his neck in a hug.

"Good. I don't think I could bear it if those losers took you away from me." Ken smiled adoringly down at his girlfriend as he tightened his hold on her.

"They're not gonna. Besides, if they really were my friends, then they'd want me to be happy. Maybe if I can get Kari alone I can convice her to get the others to leave me alone. She's less selfish than them. When she sees how happy I am, she won't try to break us up." Daisuke said confidently as she nuzzled her face into Ken's chest.

They belonged to each other and were destined to be together; they could both feel it every time they were near each other.

Hopefully the others would soon realize that as well and try not to break them up, even if they were trying to defeat the Digimon Emperor.

"She better not. I just got you. I don't intend to ever lose you. Sorry, but now that you're a part of my life, you're going to stay in it." Ken smiled as he ran his fingers through her hair.

"I'm okay with that." Daisuke sighed contently as the couple laid on the couch together.

The end.
