"Supīdo kyō and Dragă"
This is the final chapter of the Amethyst and Silver story. I hope everyone likes it. Please enjoy and review!
Moaning softly, a pair of brown eyes fluttered open and took in the unfamiliar room in confusion.
Pushing herself up, Davey Motomiya glanced around the room she had been placed in and tried to figure out how she had gotten there when she was originally on the battle field.
Feeling a weight on her stomach, she glanced down and smiled softly when she found DemiVeemon curled up and sleeping peacefully.
Seeing DemiVeemon with her made Davey relax as she realized she was safe.
She was mostly in a building that SHIELD still owned or she was in a new building that Tony Stark had aquired for the Avengers and had placed her in the medical room.
Knowing this made her lean back in her bed as she tried not to think of what had happened in Sokovia.
Lifting a hand, Davey pet her Digimon's head which made him hum happily in his sleep as he snuggled closer to the girl.
The door to the room was then opened and in stepped Wanda Maximoff who changed out of her old clothes and was wearing a red sun dress which suited her nicely.
"Hey." Davey greeted making Wanda freeze.
Her blue eyes locked onto the awake form of the redhead and Wanda gave a large smile as she rushed over to her side.
"You're awake! How are you feeling?" The witch asked the younger girl.
"Dazed and confused. Where are we?" Davey asked as she glanced around the room briefly.
"You are at the new Avengers building. Stark allowed us all to live here while the tower is being rebuilt." Wanda explained.
Nodding at that, Davey thought back to when Ultron had first attacked them all.
It had been at the party that Tony had thrown as celebration for finding Loki's scepter.
Ultron had taken control of the Iron Man suitys and had attacked the Avengers who were spending some time together, trying to see if anyone could lift Thor's hammer.
Fighting an army of robots in a dress and high heels was not fun.
"Okay. And, uh, how long have I been out?" Davey asked.
"For almost four days. Everyone was worried about when you would wake up." Wanda told her.
Everyone had stepped into the room to check on her as the hours ticked by, but Pietro Maximoff had been the one who spent the most time in the hospital room with the redhead.
In fact, he had recently been in the room to check on the girl before he was pulled out by Clint Barton so he could train with the rest of the men.
Wanda had recently finished her training with the Black Widow and promised Pietro she would check on Davey while he was working on his fighting skills.
"Four days?! Kuso (damn)!" Davey groaned as she brushed her knoted bangs out of her face.
"Are you feeling okay?" Wanda asked in concern.
Releasing a breath, the healer looked up at the worried brunette and gave her a friendly grin.
"Daijobudesu (I'm fine)." Davey muttered.
Seeing the expression of confusion on Wanda's pretty face, which didn't have the heavy eye make-up, Davey shook her head as she realized she had spoken in Japanese.
"I'm okay, Wanda, really. I've been through worst things than over exhaustion." She assured her.
An example of that would be the time she was fighting against Hydra with Captain America and she had been shot in the stomach by the Winter Soldier.
Her sister, Jun Motomiya, had thrown a large fit about that and had the super soldier cowering in the corner as she screamed at him.
"What about you or Pietro? Are you guys okay?" Davey asked the witch.
"We're fine. I wasn't hurt very badly and Pietro is the same as he usually is." Wanda said with a grin.
"So, he's irritating the hell out of Clint?" Davey joked making Wanda give a small snort in amusement.
"Something like that." The Sokovian nodded.
Chuckling lightly at that, Davey glanced down at the sleeping dragon on her lap and gave a sigh of relief that everyone was fine.
Looking down at her dirty form, the redhead pouted before she then turned her eyes back onto Wanda.
"Please tell me this building has a shower I can use. And some new clothes I can wear." She said.
Wanda chuckled at that before she then walked over to the foot of the bed and lifted up a familiar black bag.
"Natasha said you would be needing this when you woke up." She said.
Grinning at that, Davey carefully set DemiVeemon back down onto the bed and stood up slowly.
"Thanks." She said as she took the bag from the brunette.
Suddenlly, Wanda had pulled the other girl into a hug which stunned Davey as she was surounded by the floral scent that clung to the Sokovian female.
"I never got to thank you before. You brought my brother back to me. I could never repay you for that. Vă mulțumesc foarte mult Davinia (Thank you so much Davinia)." Wanda said.
Now understanding why she was being hugged, Davey wrapped her arms around the other woman and smiled.
"You two have been through hell. You deserved to have a second chance at life." She told Wanda.
This made tears sting Wanda's eyes, but she fought them off as she pulled out of the hug to smile at the girl her brother had become so fond of.
When she had seen images of this girl, this Avenger, roaming around in Pietro's head it made Wanda worry over her brother for taking an interest in her simply because she had powers like them.
But now that she had actually met Davey, she now understood that it was the kindness and purity of the girl that had attracted Pietro to her in the first place.
"Thank you, Davinia. Now, come. I'll show you where the showers are." Wanda said as she began leading her out of the room.
"Thanks. And it's Davey." She told the brunette.
Smiling at that, Wanda nodded as the two girls left the room.
When they were gone, DemiVeemon opened his eyes and stood up with a large grin on his face.
"I knew those two were gonna become friends." He chirped.
(Later...)
Thrilled that she had been able to get clean, Davey was strutting around the large building dressed in a pair of pink sneakers, lightwash jeans and a black tube top while a gold choker with a peridot gemstone on it.
Her tangled mess of a hair had been washed and brushed out properly so it was now hanging down her back in waves.
DemiVeemon was sitting on her shoulder as he told her about how he and Vision had worked together to take out the lead Ultron.
"I ripped him out of the jet and then threw him down into the forest. I started beating him up and then Vision showed up and the gem thingy on his forehead glowed and it destroyed Ultron!" DemiVeemon exlciamed.
"I'm sad I missed it. I would have loved to see the metal psychopath get his just desserts." Davey quipped.
She was still a bit annoyed at Bruce Banner and Tony for creating Ultron, but she would try to get past the event that nearly ended in the end of the world.
After all, there was a large possibility that there would be another battle for the fate of the planet that would be happening in the near future.
There always was one.
"Hey, look who finally woke up!" A familiar voice called out.
Stopping her exploration of the building, Davey turned around to see Sam Wilson and Steve Rogers dressed in their workout clothes.
"Hey, Sam. Wasn't expecting to see you here. You a new Avenger?" Davey asked as she walked over to the two men.
"I got roped into it." The African American shrugged.
"Cap asked him and he agreed because he was bored." DemiVeemon whispered into Davey's ear which made her giggle.
Smiling down at the younger girl, Steve took in the sight of her and saw that she was back to looking the same as she usually did.
Her skin was the natural tan it always was and her brown eyes were shining with life and energy which was a great relief.
"So, how are you feeling?" Steve asked making the girl look over at him.
"Like I didn't just fight in a robot riot." Davey shrugged.
Grinning in amusement at that, Steve leaned over and pulled the younger girl into a hug that made her groan in disgust.
"Ew, gross! You're all sweaty!" She whined.
Sam laughed at that while Steve rolled his eyes in amusement at the girl he was hugging and released her a few seconds later to see her pouting playfully up at him.
Feeling eyes on her, Davey looked behind Steve and found Pietro standing in an open doorway with Clint.
The archer was grinning over at the girl and was watching the interaction between her and the two former soldiers.
As for Pietro, he was staring at the healer with wide blue eyes that were filled with relief and also awe.
This would be the first time he had ever seen her wearing ordinary clothing and she wasn't dirty from a fight she had just been in.
"Hey, guys!" Davey greeted them with a large grin.
"Hey, Sleeping Beauty. Nice to see you're finally awake. We were getting a little worried." Clint joked.
"Ugh, don't call me that, Robin Hood." Davey responded.
Shooting her a mock look of annoyance, Clint walked over to the girl as Pietro remained by the doorway as he continued staring at the redhead.
"I hope you realize that Nat's gonna be dragging you back into training now that you're awake. And she's not going easy on you just because you've been comatose for a few days." Clint told her.
"Was I supposed to be surprised by that?" Davey rolled her eyes.
She was going to be given one horrible beating during the training with Natasha Romanoff.
"Aw, don't worry, kid. You'll be fine." Sam smirked as he gave her a pat on the shoulder.
Knowing he was silently making fun of her, Davey gave a mock glare at the dark skinned male.
"You've obvioudly never been in a fight with Nat, have you? And I mean against her. Not alongside her." She said.
"She's called the Black Widow for a reason. She'll tear you apart." DemiVeemon stated.
"Right. I'm gonna hit the showers and then head out for a coffee run. See you later, red." Sam said as he ruffled the girl's hair.
Pouting in annoyance, the girl swiped her hand at his which made him jump back with a laugh as he started jogging off.
"Easy there." Steve chuckled as Davey patted her hair down.
"I'm off to the kitchen. I'm starving. You coming, Cap?" Clint asked as he started walking out of the room.
"Yeah, sure." Steve nodded.
"For the sake of people with noses, take a shower first!" Davey called after them playfully.
Steve gave her an unamused grin as he walked by her while Clint scoffed.
Once the two men were gone, Davey's felt a sudden breeze behind her and she turned around to see Pietro was standing there.
"Hey, Pietro." She grinned up at him.
Hearing the girl say his name, the white haired male smiled down at her.
"Bună dimineața Davinia (good morning Davinia)." He greeted.
"So, how are you?" She asked.
Her eyes took in his torso which was dressed in a skin tight grey t-shirt and roamed over his bare arms that once had bullet holes in them.
It had been a terrifying moment for her to see Pietro get shot with that many bullets and she was scared that she wouldn't have been able to help him.
Thankfully, by some miracle, her powers had grown stronger and she was able to bring him back to life.
"Better than ever. It's you that everyone's been worried about though, draga (darling). You've been out for four days. Are you sure you should be walking around?" He asked her.
"Pietro, you were the one who DIED. I'm the one who should be more worried about you." Davey told him.
"Yes, but thanks to you, I'm perfectly fine. Better than ever, really." Pietro assured.
Feeling a bit awkward, DemiVeemon hopped down off of his human's shoulder and started running off into the kitchen to join the boys for breakfast.
Noticing her dragon running off, Davey then turned her eyes back onto Pietro who was leaning a bit closer to her than he originally was.
Those bright blue eyes of his were smouldering once again and she was feeling a bit lightheaded as his stormy scent overwhelmed her senses.
"I-I should probably go call my family. Let them know I'm fine." She muttered.
And assure Jun she didn't have to take a flight all the way down to Manhatten to threaten Steve again.
As she turned to go back to her room, she bumped into a muscular chest and looked up to meet the gaze of the speed demon who had ran in front of her.
"Uh, before you do that, I need to speak with you." He interupted her.
Taking a step back from the man, she turned her head up at him.
"Okay, what is it?" She asked.
Clearing his throat and seeming to be a bit nervous, which struck Davey as a shock since it was so out of character, Pietro gave a small grin down to the girl.
"I was hoping that you and I could spend some more time together. Just the two of us?" He said hopefully.
Blinking at that in confusion, Davey tilted her head to the side.
"Um, in what way?" She asked.
"Well, as in a..." Pietro trailed off.
He heard the snickering and frowned as he turned his head over to see DemiVeemon, Sam, Clint, Steve and Tony had all gathered around at the entrance to the living room to watch the two younger adults.
Giving them an annoyed look for spying on him, Pietro looked back down at Davey who was staring at the groups of males in confusion.
"What are they doing?" She asked.
"Snooping." Pietro stated.
Scooping up Davey into his arms, which made her yelp in surprise as her arms flung up to grab onto his shoulders, Pietro took off in a blue blur as he took off to an area where they would have some privacy.
Seeing the duo of enhanced humans disappear from sight, the group of males all pouted.
"So close!" Tony complained.
"Get over it, Stark." Steve said as he scooped DemiVeemon up and started walking off.
"But I was shipping them!" Tony whined playfully like a child.
"Shipping them? Did you come up with a name for them too?" Sam scoffed.
"Actually, yes, I did. Which one do you think sounds better; Daietro or Maximiya?" Tony asked as the group of males walked off.
DemiVeemon giggled at the names the billionaire had come up with.
"Davey would like them better than Khaleesi or Daenerys, that's what I know." The dragon chirped.
"How about Silverdragon?" Clint joined in.
"Silverdragon?" Tony repeated in disbelief.
"Yeah. You know, because he's Quicksilver and she's basically the Mother of Dragons. So, put it togetehr and you got Silverdragon." Clint explained.
"Seriously?" Tony gave the archer a look.
This made Steve groan in disbelief while Sam and DemiVeemon continued to laugh at the banter going on between Clint and Tony.
Stopping in his room, Pietro looked down at the girl in his arms to see she was giggling at the little ride she had been taken on.
"That was fun!" She giggled which made him grin as he set her down on her feet.
As soon as she was placed on her feet, Davey began to sway as she went through a sensation of vertigo which caused Pietro to catch her around the waist to keep her steady as she almost fell over.
"Whoa! Head rush." She giggled.
"Take it easy. The first time is a little hard to take." He said as he kept his hands on her waist.
"Uh huh." Davey nodded as she closed her eyes to try to fight off the feeling of dizziness.
Staring down at the girl in his arms, Pietro couldn't help but notice the soft sprinkling of freckles she had along her cheeks which seemed to almost blend in with her tanned skin.
He found them to be adorable on her and they made her look sweet, especially when her chocolate brown eyes fluttered open to gaze up at him and a pink blush found its way onto her face when she found him staring down at her so intently.
Her bangs fell into her face and Pietro lifted his hand up to brush them aside so he could see her eyes which still held that crimson tint to them.
"So, uh, what-what were you trying to say before?" Davey asked as she tried to ignore how warm her cheeks were getting.
Pulling back from the girl a bit, Pietro cleared his throat as his own cheeks began to color pink from embaressment.
Having some space between them allowed Davey to breath more clearly and she enjoyed the fact that the smug speed demon was actually speachless and shy for once.
It was new, strange and also kind of cute.
"Well?" Davey asked.
"I-I was going to ask you if you wanted to... What is the word?" Pietro trailed off as he tried to think up the word he was looking for.
Thinking over the way he was acting and the words he had said before, it made it easy for Davey to conclude what the white haired male was trying to ask her.
"Go on a date?" Davey offered.
"Yes, that!" Pietro grinned.
A nervous grin then came on his face as he stared down at the healer who was staring up at him with amused eyes.
"So, would you? Go on a date with me?" He asked her.
Smiling at him, Davey stepped up closer to the tall male and placed her hands on her shoulders to steady herself as she stood up on her toes.
Leaning up, she placed a kiss onto Pietro's stubble coated cheek which made the male's already quick beating heart thump even faster in his chest.
Pulling back from the blushing male, who's bright blue eyes became a little dazed, Davey gave him an amused look.
"Just make sure it's not something that requires me wearing a dress. Or any other fancy clothing." Davey smirked.
Blinking his eyes to snap himself out of his daze, Pietro gave a large smile that showed off his perfect straight teeth.
"So, that's a yes?" He asked with a hopefull look in his eyes.
"That's a yes." She nodded.
Giving a large smile, Pietro then ran off and sent Davey's hair flying back much to her surprise.
Seconds later, before she could even wonder where he went, Pietro was standing in front of her again with a familiar wallet held in his hands.
"Then let's go now. Steve said you love pizza and I've never tried it before." He said.
Davey released an amused breath as she smiled at him.
Pietro was not a patitent person, but she assumed it was a side effect from his mutation.
But his eagerness was cute.
"Then let's get going." She said.
Grinning at that, Pietro stuffed the wallet into his jeans' pocket before scooping the redhead up into a princess carry.
"By the way, where did you get the wallet?" Davey asked with a curious expression.
"From Stark." Pietro smirked.
"He let you borrow his wallet?" Davey asked in disbelief.
"Something like that." Pietro gave her a smirk.
She gave him a disaproving look before it then faded into one of amusement and she wrapped her arms around his neck as Pietro then took off running into the city.
She was going to have her hands full with this guy.
The end.
