"Thanksgiving"

This is pretty early, but I was in the mood to write a oneshot that took place on Thanksgiving since the leaves were all changing colors and some stores already have decorations out. Please enjoy and review!

The Avengers Towers was filled with all of the team members who were wandering around the building, getting ready for when their family members arrived for Thanksgiving.

Davinia 'Davey' Motomiya, Wanda Maximoff and Vision were all in the kitchen cooking the food for dinner while Natasha Romanoff was setting up a play pen for Clint Barton's youngest son Nathaniel Pietro Barton.

Tony Stark was fixing drinks in the living room while Pietro Maximoff was watching the parade on TV, taking an interest in it since he had never seen one before.

Wanda and Davey had finished preparing the turkey hours ago and it was currently cooking in the oven as the two young women and Vision worked on the vegetables, mashed potatoes, stuffing and gravey.

A ham had also been prepared and Vision was cutting it into slices before placing them in a serving dish.

Once the side dishes had all been prepared, Davey and Wanda carried them over to the table set up in the dining room where everyone would be seated for dinner.

"There! We're finally done!" Davey sighed in relief.

"That took us forever. What time is it now?" Wanda asked as she wiped her hands on her apron.

Vision placed a dish with the sliced ham on the table before turning to look at the two women who looked tired after cooking the meal for the Avengers and their families.

"It's almost noon. You two should go get ready before the guests begin to arrive. I'll watch over the turkey." Vision assured the two women.

"Are you sure, Viz?" Wanda asked the red skinned man.

"Yes, go on. I can handle this." He smiled at the brunette and redhead.

"If you're sure, Viz." Davey said.

Pulling her own apron off, Davey set it aside and then began leaving the room.

"I'll see you guys later. I'm going to take a shower before my family arrives." The redhead waved at the two.

"I'll inform you of their arrival." Vision told her.

"Thanks!" Davey called over her shoulder.

Smiling at the thought of spending a peacefull day with her brother, her friends and their family members, Wanda walked off to her room to take a shower and get changed as well.

Passing through the living room, the two women paused to see Tony sipping at a glass of brandy while Pietro was lounging on the couch with a roll in his hand.

Natasha and Bruce Banner were both finishing up the playpen for baby Nathaniel and had even placed a soft blue blanket down on the floor.

"Hey, Witchy, Khaleesi! The food ready yet?" Tony asked as he spotted the duo.

"Everything but the turkey." Davey told him.

"Viz is watching over it while we get ready for dinner." Wanda explained.

"I can't wait to eat. I'm starving!" Pietro whined.

Rolling her eyes at her brother, Wanda walked over to the couch and flicked the white haired male over the head.

"Stop acting so childish." Wanda scolded which made Pietro pout up at her.

Giggling at that, Davey glanced around the room and frowned when she saw that two certain Super Soldiers were missing.

"Hey, where's Bucky and Steve?" She asked.

"Uh, not sure. I haven't seen them in a while." Bruce said as he stood up, finished with setting up the playpen.

"I don't know about Winter Wonderland, but I do know where Capsicle is. He's hidding from your sister." Tony smirked over at Davey.

Natasha scoffed at that, remembering how Steve Rogers had come to fear Jun Motomiya after her sister had been shot in the back and was thrown out of a helicarrier when everyone discovered HYDRA had been growing inside of SHIELD for decades.

Poor Steve had been cowering as he was yelled at by an enraged Jun who was furious to learn her younger sister was in the hospital after the Super Soldier promised he would look after the girl and keep her safe.

When Tony had heard about Steve's new fear of the Dragon Queen's older sister, the billionair had become greatly amused and would tease the other male whenever he could with this new information.

"That's right. Jun's coming over today too, along with your parents." The former Russian spy smirked.

"I think we now know why Barnes is hidding too." Pietro laughed.

Giving a mocking laugh at the group of amused peple around her, Davey turned towards the elevator.

"You guys are hilarious." She drawled out.

Getting into the elevator, Davey glanced down at the pannel that had multiple buttons that each had their own symbol on them.

There was an Iron Man head for Tony, a shield with a star on it for Steve, an arrow for Clint, Hulk's head for Bruce, a hammer for Thor, a spider for Natasha, a bird for Sam Wilson, a witch's hat for Wanda, Sonic the Hedgehog for Pietro and a snowflake for Bucky Barnes.

Finally, there was a button with a dragon on it that Davey then pushed and she rode the elevator down to her floor that she shared with Veemon.

Once the doors opened, Davey walked out and stepped onto her floor as she passed by the miniture living room and made her way towards her room.

Opening the door to her room, she paused in her steps and was surprised to find not only Veemon, but also a certain Super Soldier standing in front of her floor length mirror.

The tall brunette had shaved and his hair was neatly combed while he was dressed in a dark green button down shirt and clean pair of jeans.

"Bucky, what are you doing in here?" Davey asked.

Hearing his name being called, Bucky turned around and spotted his girlfriend standing at the entrance of her bedroom.

"I was helping him get ready for dinner." Veemon smiled.

Jumping off the bed, Veemon walked over to the vanity and pulled a white sundress off of the chair and held it out for his partner to see.

"I even picked something out for you, too!" The Digimon chirped.

Fighting off the urge to roll her eyes at her partner, Davey walked further into the room and picked up the dress from her partner's hands to look it over.

"Why is it every time you pick out my clothes, you always choose something overly girly?" She asked.

The last time Veemon had picked out something for her to wear was at last year's party where everyone celebrated finding Loki's staff in Sokovia and finally putting their search to a rest.

Veemon had chosen a teal cocktail dress for Davey to wear and Natasha had forced her into it before fixing her hair and make-up.

Bucky hadn't been able to keep his eyes off of her the entire night and Tony wouldn't stop teasing her until she had dumped her drink on him and stormed off with her boyfriend trailing after her.

"I don't think that counts as overly girly." Bucky grinned.

Walking over to his girlfriend, the former Winter Soldier wrapped his arms around her waist and pulled her into his chest before placing a kiss on her forehead.

"Besides, you look georgous in white." He commented.

Fighting off the blush that was forming on her cheeks, Davey pulled out of her boyfriend's arms.

"Yeah, whatever. I'm going to take a shower." She said as she started walking towards her door.

"Need some help?" Bucky asked.

Pausing, Davey turned to give Bucky a look and saw him giving her a playfull smile as his green-blue eyes were shinning in amusement.

"We don't have time for that, hotshot. Maybe after everyone is gone." She said.

"I'll hold you to that, doll." He grinned.

With that said, the redhead left to go take a shower and Bucky's grin slipped off his face as he stared down at his bionic arm nervously.

Sensing the change in mood, Veemon turned his head over to Bucky and walked over to the male.

"Bucky, are you okay?" The blue dragon asked him.

"Yeah, fine." The brunette gave a forced grin.

Turning his attention over to his reflection, he ran his fingers through his hair and made sure that everything was in place.

Seeing this, Veemon frowned in thought before he then realized what was bothering the 30 year old man.

"Are you nervous about meeting Davey's family?" Veemon asked.

It seemed like a normal thing for men to feel whenever they were brought home to meet their girlfriend's parents.

They worried that the girl's parents, namely their father, wouldn't like them and would advised the girl to dump him.

Giving a humourless laugh, Bucky glanced down at his metal hand once again before he then moved to sit on the chair by the vanity.

"Kind of hard not to. I mean, not all girls bring home an ex-assasin to meet the parents." He shrugged.

"You do remember that Clint used to an assasin and Laura married him." Veemon reminded.

This made Bucky give him a frustrated look before he then glanced back down at his metal hand, clencing and unclenching his fist as he listened to the sounds of the wires moving in his arm.

Sighing at this, Veemon placed a hand on the man's knee which made him look down at the Digimon who was giving him an encouraging smile.

"Don't worry so much. I mean, Ken was a bad guy with a bunch of psychological issues and Davey's family accepted him. Even when he had a huge obession for her. If they accepted him, then they'll accept you too. Especially since you've come a long way to get better and make up for all of the things you've done." Veemon told him.

Listening to what the dragon said, Bucky gave him a small smile as a thank you before reaching down to pat his head.

Ever since Bucky had started dating Davey, Veemon had also become the soldier's partner and had been acting as a confidant for him when the man couldn't speak to Steve.

"Thanks." Bucky said as Veemon smiled up at him.

Fifteen minutes later, the two males were sitting in the living room watching TV and then Davey walked out of the bathroom, dressed in the simple white dress while she was running a brush through her hair that she had just blow dried.

She wore simple, yet classy jewlery which were small diamond stud earrings and an oval diamond on a gold necklace.

Her feet remained bare as she walked over to the couch where the two males were sitting.

"Hey, guys. What're you watching?" She asked.

"Just some cartoon." Veemon told her.

Giving his girlfriend a smile, Bucky held an arm out to her and she walked over to him, taking his hand as he pulled her down to sit on his lap.

"See? I told you you're georgous in white. Then again, you look great in everything you wear." He smirked.

"Well, aren't you charming." Davey grinned at him.

Setting the haircbrush down on the oak coffee table that was set in front of the couch, Davey cuddled up into the man's chest and breathed in the after rain scent he had clinging onto him.

Smiling happily at the 25 year old wrapped up in his arms, Bucky nuzzled his face into her honey scented hair which was still slightly damp.

Rolling his eyes at how sweet the couple were being as they cuddled together, Veemon turned his attention back onto the TV screen.

Tilting her head upwards to look at her boyfriend, Davey was surprised when Bucky managed to catch her off guard and pressed a kiss onto her lips which made her giggle in amusement.

Lips pulling back into a grin at this, Bucky pulled back to look down at his girlfriend curled up in his arms before he then leaned down for another kiss and Davey reached up to wrap her arms around his neck.

"Excuse me, Ms. Motomiya." The formal voice of the A.I. FRIDAY interupted.

Pouting in annoyance at being interupted, Davey pulled away from her whining boyfriend so she could look up at the ceiling where she was certain the speakers were located.

"What's up, FRIDAY?" The girl asked.

"Mr. Vision told me to inform you that your family has arrived and Mr. Stark requests that you bring Captain Rogers up as well." The A.I. informed.

"Okay, thanks. We'll be right up." Davey called.

With that said, FRIDAY left the trio alone as Davey stood up from her comfortable position and went to her room to grab some shoes.

Bucky began to panic a bit at the fact that the rest of the Motomiya family were here and Veemon placed a hand on his arm to calm him.

A few seconds later, Davey came out of her room with a pair of tan wedge sandals on her feet and Bucky stood up at the sight of her.

"So, you ready?" She asked.

"What about Steve?" Bucky questioned.

"I texted him and he's meeting us. Come on." Davey said as she wrapped her arms around Bucky's bionic one.

He wasn't able to feel the warmth or the softness of her skin, but he could still feel her touch and it was comforting.

It was strange how differently things felt to him because of the bionic arm, but Davey never shyed away or looked at it in disgust when he touched her with it.

She made more of a habbit to touch it since she was curious of the arm and how it worked.

Thr trio walked into the elevator and rode it up to Steve's floor.

When the doors opened, a very reluctant Steve walked over and gave his friends a smile.

"Hey, guys. Davey, you look beautiful." He greeted.

"And you look nervous. Are you seriously scared of seeing my sister again?" The girl joked.

Steve chuckled at that, but he avoided her eyes as he walked into the elevator and stood beside Bucky who gave him a curious look as the doors closed.

They soon arrived on the top floor and walked out to find Clint was sitting on the couch with his wife Laura while their kids Cooper and Lila were chatting with Pietro, asking him all types of questions which made the Sokovian smile.

Baby Nathanial was in the play pen with Natasha smiling over him as she watched him chew on a rubber duck.

Talking with Tony and Bruce by the bar were Kei, Serenity and Jun Motomiya who had all been given drinks.

Taking in the sight of the trio, Bucky was able to see that Davey was a combination of both of her parents as she had her mother's red hair and her father's brown eyes and tanned skin.

As for Jun, she looked like a living breathing version of Snow White with her fair skin and red coated lips, except she had long pink hair instead of black like her father.

At Jun's side was a pink and purple Digimon that had a resemblance to a rabbit and she took notice of the two Super Soldiers, the redhead and the dragon quickly.

Looking up at Jun, Lunamon poked the woman's leg and pointed over to where the group was.

Seeing her sister, Jun set her drink down and rushed over to Davey and pulled her into a tight hug.

"Davey, I missed you! How are you?" Jun asked.

"I'm great." Davey grinned.

Lunamon and Veemon hugged next while Kei and Serenity walked over to the group, smiling at their two daughters.

As the sisters pulled back, Davey glanced over to her parents who were both smiling at her while Steve quickly snuck off to join Tony and Bruce at the bar as Wanda returned from her room.

"Hi, Mom. Dad." Davey smiled at them.

"Moy malen'kiy kotenok (My little kitten)." Serenity cooed.

Mentally groaning at the nickname her mother had given her, Davey allowed her mother to pull her into a hug and kiss the side of her head.

Hearing the nickname that was used, Bucky couldn't help but smirk at that.

That was something he could use to tease his girlfriend with.

After greeting her mother, Davey turned her gaze onto her father and walked over to hug the tall Japanese man.

"Ogenkidesuka (How are you)?" Kei asked.

"Daijobudesu (I'm fine)." Davey said.

With that done, Davey turned her attention over to Bucky who became nervous once again as the entire Motomiya family all stared at him.

Stepping away from her father, Davey stood at her boyfriend's side and wrapped her arms around the bionic one once again and she smiled up at him before looking back at her family.

"Mom, Dad. This is my boyfriend, Bucky." She said.

"I'm James Buchanan Barnes. It's nice to meet you both." He introduced himself with his right hand held out.

Smiling kindly at the younger man, Serenity walked over to him and pulled him into a motherly hug.

"Eto priyatno , nakonets, vstretit'sya s vami (It's nice to finally meet you)!" The redheaded woman said in her native tongue.

Bucky was shocked by how friendly the woman was and glanced over to Davey with a questioning look in his eyes and she shrugged at him.

"Eto priyatno vstretit'sya s vami tozhe , missis Motomiya (It's nice to meet you too, Mrs. Motomiya)." Bucky said to her.

Pulling out of the hug, Serenity gave the brunette a smile.

"I hope you don't mind. Davinia said you spoke Russian and it's nice to speak it with other people." Serenity told him.

"It's fine." Bucky grinned.

Leaning into her sister side, Jun smirked down at the younger girl.

"Anata ga tadashi. Kare wa Roshiago o hanashita toki, kare wa sekushi ni kikoerun (You're right. He does sound sexy when he speaks Russian)." She said.

This made Davey glare at her sister and elbow her in the side which made Kei shake his head in amusement at them.

"Girls, no fighting." He scolded.

Vision then cleared his throat, gaining the attention of everyone in the living room.

"The turkey is now ready. Everyone, please be seated and we'll eat." The man said.

Jun blinked in surprise, recognizing the English accented voice and picked Lunamon up.

"Davey, why is JARVIS' voice coming out of that man's body?" She asked.

"Ask the Tin Man." Davey jabbed her thumb over towards Tony who was making his way into the dinning room.

Kei clapped Bucky on the shoulder, which stunned the soldier as he turned his attention over to the Japanese man who was smiling kindly at him.

"Come on, let's go eat." Kei said.

Nodding at that, Bucky followed Kei into the dinning room and Steve met up with the two men while the Motomiya women all gathered together as they walked after them.

Natasha picked up Nathaniel from the play pen and walked over to Laura to hand the baby over to his mother.

"We have a high chair set up in the kitchen for him." The Black Widow informed the mother.

"You really didn't have to go through too much trouble, Nat. Clint and I could have brought one from home." Laura smiled thankfully at her.

"Ah, it's no trouble. Don't worry about it." Natasha smiled.

After gathering Lunamon in her arms, Jun saw Steve had already taken a seat at the table and she smirked as she decided to go sit by him.

"Kon'nichiwa, kyaputen (Hello there, Captain)." Jun greeted.

Hearing that familiar voice, Steve sat up straight in his seat and turned his head over to look at Jun who was smirking down at him in amusement.

"Um, hi, Jun. And Lunamon." Steve gave a small wave.

"Hello, Captain Rogers. It's nice to see you again." Lunamon greeted politely.

Pulling out the chair beside Steve, Jun sat down as everyone else began taking their own seats.

The rest of the Motomiya family and Bucky sat with Steve and Jun while the Bartons and Maximoffs all sat together.

Bruce, Natasha and Vision all took their own seats across from the Bartons and Maximoffs while Tony sat down in a chair at the head of the table.

(Two hours later...)

Everyone had eaten and were spread out around the tower, fully satisfied with their meal and were now digesting.

Kei, Serenity, Jun, Steve, Bucky and Davey had all gathered on the couch to share some stories while also sipping at glasses of wine.

Bucky had gotten over his nerves of speaking with his girlfriend's family and was currently telling them a story about how he first met Steve, which involved the former scrawny kid getting beaten up.

Everyone was laughing and enjoying themselves.

Davey was leaning into Bucky's left side, leaning her head on his shoulder while his bionic arm was wrapped around her waist.

Cooper and Lilah were both playing with Veemon and Lunamon, the four of them running around the living room as they parents kept an eye on them as Laura held a sleeping Nathaniel in her arms.

"And his mom used to put news papers in his shoes to make them fit better." Bucky smirked making the Motomiya family laugh as Steve blushed.

"Why didn't you just buy shoes that fit you?" Jun giggled.

"...Because I could never find my size in mens shoes." Steve muttered with bright red cheeks.

Taking pity on the teased super soldier, Davey reached over and patted his shoulders.

"Why don't you tell us something embarressing about Bucky?" She suggested making her boyfriend send her an annoyed look.

"I don't think anyone is interested in that." Bucky interjected.

Kei chuckled at that as Serenity sipped her wine, both finding the interaction between the four younger adults to be amusing.

"Okay, I've got one. There was this party we went to in the seventh grade and everyone was playing this game called seven minutes in heaven." Steve began.

"No! We're not talking about that! That was a horrible night!" Bucky said as he then covered Davey's ears to stop her from hearing the story.

"Oh, shush. Go on." Jun said as she turned her attention on Steve.

Pietro then appeared behind the struggling couple on the couch as Davey finally managed to get Bucky's hands off of her ears.

"Yes, please do. I want to hear this." The speedster grinned.

Bucky groaned at that, knowing he was going to be taunted by the annoying Sokovian.

"Okay, well, someone was spiking everyone's drinks and Bucky drank about six glasses of punch. When it was his turn to go in the closest, he wound up vomitting all over the girl he was in there with." Steve finished.

Serenity and Jun all exclaimed in disgust while Kei, Pietro and Davey all laughed as Bucky buried his face in his girlfriend's hair, avoiding everyone's gaze.

"Oh, calm down, Bucky. Everyone's first kiss ends badly. There's nothing to be embarressed about." Serenity told him.

"Yeah, well, at least my first kiss didn't end in me getting shot at by one angry dame." Bucky smirked over at Steve who bowed his head at the memory.

"Shot at?" Kei exclaimed in surprise.

"Oh my God, that's right. That thing that happened with Peggy. To be honest, if I saw a woman kissing Bucky, I would've punched the skank." Davey shrugged.

That made Pietro burst out laughing while Serenity frowned over at her daughter for the language she used.

"Daviniya smotret' rot (Davinia watch your mouth)." Serenity scolded.

"I've heard everyone in this room say worst than that." Davey stated.

"Tattle tale." Natasha teased as she walked by the group.

Shaking his head in amusement, Bucky pulled Davey closer to his side and kissed her temple.

Honestly, he was thrilled by what his girlfriend had said.

If he had seen someone kiss her, then there was a chance he would have punched the guy who dared to touch her.

"All right people, enough lounging around." Tony announced as he strutted to the center of the room.

"Is he drunk?" Laura asked as she craddled Nathaniel.

"Maybe a little bit." Clint responded.

"The day is still young and there's a parade going on outside. Let's all go out and enjoy it!" Tony said.

"He is drunk." Wanda stated.

Lunamon, Veemon, Lila and Cooper all excitedly rushed to their own families when they heard about the parade.

"Can we go see the parade? Please, Daddy?" Lila asked as she pouted up at her father.

"I would really like to go. I've never been to a parade before." Lunamon said shyly.

Jun smiled down at her partner and reached down to pick the little bunny up.

"It might be fun." The magenta haired woman said to her family who all looked thoughtfull.

"Let's get going." Kei said as he and Serenity stood up.

"Come on, kids. Let's go get dressed." Clint said as he picked Lila up.

Pietro grinned as he then sped off to his and Wanda's rooms, returning seconds later with two coats and handed the red one over to his sister.

"Yes! Let's go!" Tony cheered.

"We really need to keep him away from the booze." Bruce sighed.

"Okay, if I'm going out, then I'm changing. There is no way I'm freezing my ass off." Davey said making Bucky chuckle as he stood up with his girlfriend.

Steve shook his head at the couple as they walked off to the elevator and got up to get ready for the outting along with everyone else.

"Davey, wait for me! I have short legs!" Veemon cried as he chased after his partner.

The end.
