"Valentine's Day"
I know its almost Halloween, but I wanted to make a short Valentine's Day story. Please enjoy and review!
Snow was falling down outside and some of the students from the Xavier Institute were rushing to play in the freshly fallen powder.
Inside of the building, couples were sat together in various rooms, enjoying the peacefull day.
An arctic fox was running around the mansion, his black nose twitching as he tried to look for someone.
He peeked his head into the kitchen to find Jean Grey and Scott Summers drinking coffee together as the man handed his wife a white rose.
Accepting the rose with a smile, Jean then kissed Scott's cheek which made the man's cheeks flush pink.
Rolling his eyes at the couple who were acting like teenagers, the fox then raced out of the room as he continued his search.
The little fox ran by Logan and Ororo Munroe as the duo made their way to the front door so they could watch over the younger kids who were playing outside.
Then he ran through the living room where Rogue and Remy Lebeau were curled up on the couch watching Casablanca.
Running up the steps, the fox passed by Hank McCoy and the blue furred man glanced down at the animal as it raced by him.
"Don't run indoors, Davis!" Hank called to the fox.
"We get enough of that from Pietro." The man muttered.
Hank then continued his walk down the stairs as he looked over the papers he needed to grade.
Yipping at the man, the fox then slowed his pace as he began sniffing around the halls, searching for the scent of the person he was trying to find.
Picking up the scent, the fox was then covered with a white light as his body began to grow.
In the place of the fox was a tall young man with mahogany hair, chocolate brown eyes and tanned skin who began walking towards the library.
"I don't know why I didn't think of checking here in the first place." Davis Motomiya muttered.
Pushing the door open, he then entered the room and searched for his girlfriend who was most likely curled up reading a large book.
It was her favored thing to do as a past time.
Walking down the aisles of book shelves, Davis then saw a wisp of red energy and he followed it to find a young woman with long dark hair, fair skin and bright blue eyes was sitting at a desk and was levitating a book in front of her as she sipped her tea.
Smiling at the sight of the brunette, Davis then walked over to join the woman at the desk.
"There you are. I've been looking for you all over the place." He greeted.
"You should have started in here." Wanda Maximoff smirked at him.
"Yeah, I know. My mistake." Davis responded.
Leaning over, he then placed a kiss to Wanda's cheek, which made the brunette give a small grin, before he then sat down beside her and wrapped an arm around her shoulders.
"So, is there something you wanted?" Wanda asked as she leaned into her boyfriend's side.
"Nope. I just wanted to spend some time with you." Davis said as he gently ran his fingers through Wanda's pomegranate scented hair.
Forcing back the smile that was forming on her red painted lips, Wanda enjoyed the silence of the library as she leaned into her boyfriend's embrace and continued to read her book.
The couple stayed like that for the next 20 minutes, cuddling together at the desk, Wanda reading and Davis gently working through the tangles in her hair.
Just then, their peacefull moment was ruined by a silver blur that sped into the room, making books fly off the shelves and messed up the duo's hair.
Frowning in annoyance at this, Davis and Wanda turned their attention over towards a young man with silver hair, fair skin and the same blue eyes as Wanda.
"The Professor's gonna scold ya if you leave that mess." Davis stated as he smoothed down his hair.
"Not caring. Is this seriously what you guys plan on doing for Valentine's Day?" Pietro Maximoff asked with his hands on his waist.
He was frowning at the duo, not pleased with them simply sitting around while the others couples were spending their day doing things together.
"Just because everyone else is doing something overly sweet and such, doesn't mean we have to." Wanda told her twin.
Zipping over to his sister's side in a flash, Pietro leaned over her and wagged a finger in her face.
"Dear sister, do you know nothing? All couples have to do something for Valentine's Day. Even Wolverine is taking Storm out for lunch. Wolverine, people!" Pietro exclaimed.
That was a bit surprising considering that Logan was a tough guy who didn't show very many emotions, but they supposed he would do anything to make his girlfriend happy.
Glaring up at her younger brother in annoyance, Wanda gently slapped his hand away and leaned further into Davis' side as he wrapped an arm around her waist.
"We're both perfectly fine spending the day together like this." The Scarlet Witch stated as she laid her head on her boyfriend's chest.
Raising an eyebrow at this, Quicksilver then looked over to Davis to see what his opinion on the matter was and the Fox shrugged at him.
"Hey, if this is what she wants, then I have no issue with it." Davis shrugged.
Smiling at that, Wanda turned her head and placed a kiss on Davis' jaw.
Groaning in annoyance at that, Pietro then looked over his best friend and sister, taking in how comfortable they looked together and a sudden thought came to him.
"Yeah, all right. You two stay here and relax. Be a boring couple." Pietro smirked.
He then took off, creating even more of a mess as he sped away.
"...He's planning something isn't he?" Davis asked after a few seconds of silence.
"He most certainly is." Wanda frowned.
With that thought in mind, Davis then decided it was time for them to relocate and he scooped Wanda into his arms, surprising the brunette as her arms quickly wrapped around his neck.
"We're gone. I'm not sticking around to get dragged into whatever plan the speed demon has and getting yelled at by Scott for it." Davis stated.
He did not want to stick around and listen to Scott bitch at him like last time when he was dragged into one of Pietro's scheme's.
Maybe Scott should have been the one to have taken up the codename Banshee considering how much he sounded like one when he was yelling at the students.
Instead of complaining about being manhandled, Wanda simply settled into her boyfriend's embrace and enjoyed being carried out of the library.
As they entered the hall, the duo caught the attention of Kitty Pryde and Jubilation Lee who paused and stared at the couple, amusement clear on their faces.
"What are you two up to? Going on a couple's day out?" The Chinese girl teased.
"More like hidding from my brother." Wanda muttered.
Kitty giggled at that as she watched Davis quicken his pace as he walked by the two girls, intent on getting somewhere the couple would have some privacy.
"Good luck with that!" Kitty called after the Fox and Scarlet Witch.
Making his way down the hall, Davis headed towards his room and Wanda used her powers to open the door for him.
Thankfully, he was one of the few students at the school who didn't have a roommate yet, so he didn't have to worry about anyone walking in on him.
Once they were safely inside, Davis set Wanda down on the bed and then collapsed on the mattress beside her, relaxing into the blue colored comforter.
"So, now what do ya do?" He asked glancing up at the brunette.
Smiling down at the redheaded male, Wanda leaned down and placed a kiss on his lips which he was eager to return.
Sadly, it was only a peck and she pulled away to smirk at the pout he had.
"How about we watch a movie?" She suggested.
Sighing at that, Davis folded an arm under his head and stared at Wanda for a few seconds, pretending to be considering the idea.
"Okay." He agreed soon after and sat up.
Grinning at that, Wanda watched as Davis grabbed his remote and turned on the TV and brought up the Netflix selection list.
Lying back down on the bed, Davis pulled Wanda into his side and kissed her cheek before they settled back comfortably.
"Okay, so what looks good?" He asked as he flicked through the option.
Humming in thought, Wanda glanced over the list and grabbed the remote to choose the new Fantastic Four movie to watch which made Davis groan in disgust.
"This movie is so boring!" He whined.
"Stop complaining." Wanda scolded.
Sighing at that, Davis then reached over to his nightstand and pulled a bag of chocolates out of the drawer.
"Chocolate?" He offered as he held one out to her.
Grinning at that, Wanda leaned over and took a bite out of the chocolate and then laid her head down on Davis' chest to use it as a pillow as his arm wrapped around her.
The duo stayed like that for the next few hours, watching movies as they laid down on the bed, curled up together and occaisionally sharing some kisses as they enjoyed the peace and quiet.
They were now watching Casablanca, one of Wanda's favorite films, and Davis was busy braiding her hair as the movie played on while the empty bag of chocolates was left lying on the floor.
Smiling when her favorite scene came on, Wanda shuffled closer to Davis' chest and smiled up at him when he saw a pair of fluffy white fox ears on top of his head and his reddish brown eyes looked close to closing.
Reaching up, Wanda pet the fox ears and almost giggled when Davis made a rumbling sound in his chest that sounded like he was purring.
"I didn't know foxes could purr." She said in amusement.
"I don't purr." He muttered as he relaxed into the touch.
"Of course you don't." Wanda grinned, showing off her perfect white teeth.
Leaning up towards her boyfriend, she placed her red coated lips on his and Davis was happy to return the kiss and ran his fingers through her hair.
Moving his hands down to his girlfriend's back, Davis then gently lifted her up as he rolled them over so that Wanda was lying on the soft mattress beneath them.
Getting up on his knees and elbows, Davis kept his weight off of her as he began to trail kisses from her lips to her cheek, down her neck and along her chest.
Lying back, Wanda enjoyed the attention she was being given and reached her hands up to run her fingers through the soft mahogany hair and carress the silky fox ears.
When Davis noticed he was a bit too close to Wanda's breasts, he lifted his head and started placing tiny love bites all the way up to her neck.
Making his way back up to her lips, Davis placed a kiss on them, tasting strawberry and chocolate before he then nuzzled his nose against hers making Wanda giggle.
The door was then slammed open which made the couple jump in surprise and Davis quickly turned around, teeth grown into fangs and nails transformed into claws as he prepared to attack whoever had barged into the room.
Standing there with a smug expression on his face was Pietro who looked pleased at seeing the duo, but was also disgusted at seeing his twin and friend making out.
"So, this is where you two disappeared to!" The white haired male smirked at them.
Seeing it was only Pietro who had interupted them, Davis shook his head to push back his instinct to attack and his ears, teeth and nails all returned to normal as the red tint in his eyes faded away.
"What do you want now, Pietro?" Davis asked as he sat up and allowed Wanda to do so as well, glaring at her brother the entire time.
"I came to tell you that Bobby made an ice rink and everyone is going skating." Pietro answered as he held up two pairs of white skates.
"And I suppose you want us to go out and join everyone." Wanda stated more than asked.
"Yep! I went to the store looking for skates that would fit you two." Pietro said as he jumped on the bed, head landing in Davis' lap which made the Fox give him an annoyed look.
"And how did you pay for them? I doubt you used your own money." Davis scoffed as he pushed Pietro off.
"Of course I didn't pay with my own money. And before you ask, I didn't steal them." Pietro told his sister who shot him a disaproving look.
Raising an eyebrow at that, Davis then shared a look with Wanda before turning their attention back over to the smirking boy.
"Whose wallet did you steal?" They asked.
If it were possible, the smirk on Pietro's face grew even more and he took a wallet out of his jacket pocket, flipping it open to show off Scott's ID which amused Davis greatly.
"I have no issue with that." Davis said making Pietro's eyes light up.
This was one of the reasons why he approved of Davis.
He liked to cause mischief for people, especially the teachers, just like he did.
The other reason he approved of Davis was because the boy did everyhting he could to make Wanda happy and would even put himself in the line of danger to protect her.
"What do you say? Wanna go out and skate with the others?" Davis asked as he turned to Wanda and nuzzled his nose along her neck.
Pietro's nose wrinkled in disgust as he turned his head away from the sight.
"It could be fun." Wanda relented.
Hearing that, Pietro then ran off to get his sister's snow coat, gloves and hat before he then dumped them on the bed for her.
"Great! Then get dressed and I'll see you two love birds outside. See ya!" Pietro said in a rush before speeding off.
Rolling her eyes at her brother, Wanda then stood up and grabbed her winter clothing and started to get dressed and Davis stood up to get his winter clothing on as well.
After getting dressed into their winter clothing and grabbing the skates Pietro had left for them, Davis walked over to Wanda and placed a kiss on her cheek before holding out his arm for her.
"Come on, let's get going." He said.
Smiling up at him, Wanda wrapped her arm around his own and cuddled up into his side and they both walked off to go join their friends outside.
The end.
