"Murder House"

I've been a bit of an American Horror Story kick for the past few days when I decided to give the show a look at. Please enjoy and review!

Six young adults were all staring up at the large Victorian house in awe, their eyes wide as their jaws dropped open at the sight before them.

"Whoa, check this place out." Takeru 'TK' Takaishi grinned.

"It's amazing. It's unbelieable that the structure was built in the 1920's and is still standing in such outstanding condition." Cody Hida commented.

"How do you even know when it was built?" Davinia 'Davey' Motomiya asked.

"It's all in the style, Davey." Hikari 'Kari' Kamiya explained.

"It is a marvel." Ken Ichijouji grinned.

Yolei Inoue giggled as she turned towards her friends with a large smile on her face and dropped her bag on the ground.

"Then isn't it great that I managed to get us passes for a one night stay at the house? Especially so close to Halloween?" The lavender haired girl asked.

Everyone then turned to look at her, each person appearing nervous as they stared at her, Kari especially.

"Yeah, can't wait to sleep in a house where a bunch of people commited murder and suicide and rape and a bunch of other terrible things." Davey muttered.

She was sour about spending their vacation in Los Angeles in an old house where many terrible things had happened over the years, but Yolei had won the free tickets in a contest and they had to use them.

After all, they couldn't pawn them off on some poor unfortunate soul who would probably end up dying of paranoia if they entered the house.

"Oh, don't be a spoil sport, Davey." Yolei pouted at the burgundy haired girl.

Sighing at the sight of his girlfriend and best friend giving each other annoyed expressions, Ken could only duck his head down and pray they didn't get into another argument.

"Please don't start. Let's just go inside and check everything out." Cody said acting as the mediator.

Grumbling under their breaths, Yolei and Davey grabbed their bags and started walking towards the house while Kari simply watched her friend and DNA partner with worried eyes.

The pretty brunette was distrustful of the house and didn't want to step inside because of the malicious energy she sensed.

Feeling a hand being placed on her back, Kari glanced up at TK and saw him giving her a comforting smile which she returned.

Giving the house one more wary glance, Kari followed the rest of her friends inside and kept her arm linked with TK's, but glanced back at Ken to see he was just as uneasy as she was.

Crossing the thresshold, Davey shivered at the strange feeling that sent a chill down her spine.

"Whoo, weird vibes." She shook her head.

As she stepped further into the house and looked around the area, she felt like someone was watching her, but brushed the strange feeling off.

"Wow, this place is even amazing on the inside!" Yolei gushed as she rushed into the house to glance around.

Stopping in the living room, she frowned at the sight of the wall paper and clicked her tongue in distaste.

"The wall paper in the living room, though, is just awful. Does not go with the decore at all." She stated.

"Great, then maybe you should tell the people in charge of the house that. Maybe they'll take your opinnion on what would be a better fit." TK joked as he walked inside with Kari clinging to him.

Not wanting to be left alone, Ken strayed closer to Davey since he felt comforted around his DNA partner and knew he would be safe near her.

"It would help." Yolei smirked.

"Hello." Someone greeted.

Crying out in surprise, everyone jumped as they turned to find a woman dressed in a maid's uniform standing by the staircase.

To the men, the woman appeared to be a young one who was very beautiful and had a seductive look in her eyes.

As for the women, they all felt confused because the beautiful image of the maid would flicker between the one of an older woman who had a glassy eye and larger body.

"Um, who are you?" Kari asked as she ventured closer to Davey and Yolei as the three women stared at the maid in confusion.

Were their eyes playing tricks on them?

"I am Moira. I am the maid of the household. I've been working here for quite some time now." The maid explained.

"And you still work here? Even with no one living in the house?" Ken questioned.

She gave him a sulty look which made him blush and an enraged Yolei stepped in front of her boyfriend possessively, looking like she was about to rip the maid to shreds.

If she needed them to, then Davey and Kari (or maybe just the former) would join in on the fight, even it was a bit petty.

"At the moment, my job is to watch over you kids for the day." Moira said.

"Watch over us? We're a group of adults. And we're getting a freaking French maid for a babysitter?" Davey asked sounding insulted.

Moira kept silent at that, but her eyes narrowed when a certain voice snickered from the shadows.

"I'm just doing my job, miss." The redheaded woman said.

"Don't pay any mind to her. She has a bit of an attitude problem." TK said which made Davey flip him off behind his back.

Although he didn't see it, the blond still knew the burgundy haired girl made a rude gesture at him and decided to do the mature thing by ignoring it.

"I'm TK, by the way." He smiled as he introduced himself.

"And my name is Kari. Hello there." The brunette said with a forced smile.

She still felt uncomfortable in the house and was resisting the urge to run outside, escaping the possible dangers of the house.

"My name is Cody, it's nice to meet you, ma'am." Cody bowed his head politely.

This action seemed to make Moira perk up at the show of respect from the youngest member of the group.

"I'm Yolei and this is a boyfriend, Ken." The girl gave a grin.

Finally, Moira turned her gaze onto the final member of the group who was giving Ken an amused look while the indigo haired boy appeared exasperated by his girlfriend.

"And I'm Davinia, hi." Davey greeted as she turned her eyes onto the redhead.

"Pleasure to meet you all. Please, go upstairs and choose your rooms. If you need me, I'll be cleaning in the study." Moira said before she then walked off.

Watching the woman strut off, the group then shared a look and shrugged.

"We better get going, then." TK said as he lifted up his bag.

Gathering their belongings, the group of six made their way upstairs and started searching for their own rooms to sleep in for the night.

Ken and Kari both appeared to be uneasy as they glanced around the area upstairs, but continued to follow after their friends closely.

Opening a door to a room, Davey walked inside and resisted the urge to shiver at the aura she sensed and walked inside to set her bag down on the twin sized bed.

She then shed off her leather jacket, showing off her torso that was covered in a black spaghetti strapped top that cut off at her belly button, exposing her gold piercing that had a tiny cat shaped charm and a green stone attached to it.

As she started unpacking her bag, she was unaware of the dark eyes that were watching her, greedily taking in the sight of the young woman who had a curvacious body and caramel colored skin that was covered in a small sprinkling of freckles.

After she was done pulling out her clothing, Davey walked over to the dresser and pulled it open.

Setting her clothing inside, she then spotted what appeared to be a box of CDs that were in the corner behind the door.

Curious, she walked over to it and dug through the box, finding Nirvana CDs and various other rock albums inside.

The figure with dark eyes then walked up behind the girl, staring down at her as he watched her reading over the selections.

Just then, the door was pushed open and it hit Davey in the side making her yelp as she stumbled back onto her rump.

"Nani ga fakku (What the fuck)?" She cried out at the sudden attack.

TK then poked his head around the door to stare down at the girl who was glaring up at him with annoyed brown eyes.

"Language." He scolded, amusement dancing in his blue eyes.

She gave him an unamused look and he held his hand out to her, which she accepted and allowed him to help her stand up.

"What were you doing behind the door?" He asked.

"I found this box of CDs. They look like they're from the 80's and 90's." Davey said as she showed him the case she was holding.

Curious, TK glanced over the album and saw that it looked like one of the CD's that his older brother had back home.

"Huh. Wonder how the box got in here?" TK mused.

"Not a clue. Maybe it belonged to one of the old owners. Probably a teenage boy." Davey shrugged as she bent down to continue looking through the box.

"What makes you say that?" TK said as he kneeled down beside her.

"Because the box is filled with Nirvana, Black Sabath, Rob Zombie, AC/DC and... Sex Pistols? Really?" Davey scoffed at the sight of the next album she found.

The first four bands metioned she enjoyed, but the last one was something she wasn't particulary fond of.

"Well, we can't all have...refined taste in music." TK smirked.

"Why is there no Kiss, Metallica or Queen in here? You'd think those albums would be added to this kind of collection." Davey commented.

This made TK roll his eyes knowing that the only thing that Davey and his brother, Yamato 'Matt' Ishida, could agree on was their similar tastes in music.

They could debate for hours about music while everyone else would simply tune them out as they became bored of listening to the two children of Friendship talk.

"Anyway, I'm going out with Kari and Ken to get something for lunch. You wanna come?" TK asked the team leader.

In truth, Kari and Ken looked like they were both about to have panic attacks from being in the house, so TK was taking them out to calm them down.

Since the two had close encounters with the Darkness, they felt uneasy with being in a house where so much evil had been commited and they could sense it.

He didn't want to tell Davey that Ken looked so despaired because then she would get very protective and insist they leave right away which would upset Yolei and an argument would break out between the two girls.

"Nah, I'm good." She waved him off as she dug through the box.

Rolling his eyes, TK stood up and walked out of the room, his shoulder bumping into something.

Pausing, he saw nothing in the way and grew confused, but continued on his way out of the room, thinking he was imagining things.

Finished with looking through the box, Davey then left the room and glanced down the hall to find Yolei and Cody staring up at the door to the attic that was on the ceiling.

"Hey guys, what're you doing?" She asked as she walked over.

"Cody said he heard weird noises up in the attic." Yolei explained as the younger girl stood between them.

"Noises? What did it sound like?" Davey questioned.

"Like something was scurrying around up there." Cody frowned.

"Maybe it was a rat." Davey suggested.

"Ugh, gross! I hope not." Yolei pulled a disgusted expression.

"No, it sounded too heavy to be a rat. There were thudding sounds like it was jumping around." Cody said.

"Sounds like a cat to me." Davey said making Yolei relax.

"What would a cat be doing up in the attic?" The lavender haired girl asked.

"Maybe it got stuck up there when Moira was cleaning or it snuck in through a window." Davey came up with reasons.

"I suppose that does sound logical." Cody nodded as he accepted the reasons the team leader had given.

It made more sense than the house actually being haunted and there was a ghost making noises in the attic.

"Oh God, Davey's being logical? Hell just froze over." Yolei teased.

Giving the taller girl an annoyed look, Davey reached out and snapped the strap of Yolei's green tank top, making the other girl yelp.

"Hey, that's sexual harrassment." Yolei said as she snapped Davey's strap next.

This then started a fight between the girls as they kept snapping each other's straps which made Cody sigh at how immature they were behaving.

"If you two still do this stuff in 20 years from now, I honestly wouldn't be surprised." The brunette commented.

From the corner of her eye, Davey noticed a flash of blond hair and black clothing which confused her as she turned her head over to the side.

A boy with fair skin and curly blond hair was standing in the hall with his hands shoved into his torn jeans pockets, his lips pulled up into an amused smirk.

It was his eyes though that truely caught her interest.

They were a dark shade of brown, almost enveloping his pupils and were filled with an intensity that made the girl freeze as she stared at him, wondering who he was and how he got in the house.

Noticing that Davey was no longer playing along with her, Yolei gave the girl a look of worry when she noitced her gaze was focussed elsewhere.

"Davey?" She questioned as she placed a hand on the girl's shoulder, waking her up from whatever transe she was in.

Eyes fluttering closed for a few seconds, Davey then snapped them open as she searched for the boy, but found him gone which confused her.

"What were you looking at?" Cody asked as he gazed down at the confused looking woman.

"I, um, I thought I saw something. Must've been imagining it." Davey gave her worried friends a bright smile to calm their nerves.

"Oh, no. Don't tell me you're gonna start freaking out like Kari and Ken. I know that being in a house where a bunch of people have been murdered and killed themselves is totally creepy; believe me, I agree and I do feel just as freaked as you guys, but there is no such thing as ghosts." Yolei stated firmly.

"Scientifically, it's not possible for ghosts to exist. Don't let all those horror stories go to your head." Cody said.

"Guys, after all of the shit we've seen over the years, don't you think just about anything is possible?" Davey asked them.

"I guess, but I still won't believe it until we have proof." The youngest member of the team said.

"Oh, you mean like the Princess of Light looking like she was about the throw up the second we stepped through the door?" Davey crossed her arms under her bust.

That made Yolei frown since she knew what Kari was like when she was confronted with the power of Darkness.

She had experienced it first hand when she, Kari and Ken had all been dragged into the Dark Ocean with their Digimon partners and the Child of Light had almost had a panic attack.

The beautiful brunette had a look in her eyes that held the same fear she had felt all those years ago back in that horrible dimenson.

How was it that Davey could sense something was off about the house when TK, the person who should be equal in power to Kari, wasn't able to feel anything?

Or was he able to sense the evil, but kept his mouth shut about so no one would worry?

"Come on, let's go downstairs and check out the house." Yolei insisted as she linked arms with her friends and dragged them along after her.

As the trio went downstairs, the blond haired boy reappeared and was leaning against the wall with a smug expression as he stared at the berry haired girl who was being dragged off by her friend.

The boy was pleased to see that there were three beautiful young women staying in the house, but after observing the way they acted, he had made his choice on which one to pursue.

(Later on...)

TK, Kari and Ken had returned to the house with a large pizza for everyone to eat and they had even invited Moira to join them, but she politely declined to continue her work which confused the six DigiDestineds, but they left the maid to do what she wished and saved her some left-overs if she changed her mind.

They then retired to their rooms to digest their food and when Davey stepped into her room, she was surprised to find the blond boy from earlier resting on the bed as he flipped through her sketch book.

"Gotta say, I'm pretty impressed by the art work. Didn't take you for the artsy type." He commented as he looked over the drawing of Imperialdramon Fighter Mode and Omnimon she had sketched.

"Who the hell are you and what are you doing in here?" She demanded.

Head lifting up, the blond grinned at her and sat up.

"I'm Tate Langdon, I live next door and wanted to see who was staying in the Murder House. I can't decide if this makes you guys ballsy or really stupid." He smirked.

Her amber tinted brown eyes were narrowed in anger and her hands were clenched into fists as she glared at the boy.

He liked that she could get riled up so easily, it would make dealing with her more fun.

Storming over, Davey grabbed her sktech book out of his hands and held it close to her chest as she stared down into his black colored eyes.

"What does it matter to you, blondie?" She sniped.

Standing up, Tate then glanced down at her as he saw he was a few inches taller than she was, but this didn't bother her as she stared straight into his eyes.

There was a fire in them that he liked.

"Nothing." He grinned.

He then walked over to the door, feeling the curious gaze of the girl on his back which made him grin in a smug manner before he then paused and glanced over his shoulder at her.

"Oh, and if you wanna listen to my albums, go ahead. I don't mind." He said before disappearing around the corner.

"You're what?" She questioned.

Walking over to the door, she peered out into the hall and found the strange boy gone.

"Weird." She frowned in confusion at the strange moment that had happened.

(Outside...)

After that strange incident, Davey had gone outside to enjoy the sunshine with Kari and Yolei, the lavender haired girl and the brunette both sitting in the gazebo with glasses of ice tea while the burgundy haired girl was lying on the grass as she listened to her iPod that was blasting music in her ears.

She was also twirling an orange and red colored leaf between her fingers, admiring the colors of the fall leaves.

"So, are you feeling any better?" Yolei asked Kari who was sipping at her drink slowly.

"Actually, no. I thought I was fine when I stepped outside, but when I got onto this gazebo... I just got an awful feeling. I feel sick being here and really just want to leave." Kari said looking distressed.

That confession made Yolei give her friend a sad smile and she reached out to place her hand on the younger girl's arm.

"Don't worry about it. If you want, you can stay in my room with me tonight if it'll help you sleep better." She offered.

This gained her a grateful smile from Kari who nodded her head, but grew stiff when she sensed a dark presence appear in the yard.

As she was close to dozing off, Davey was startled awake when her metallic blue head phones were removed.

Turning her head to the side, she found Tate lying on the ground beside her as he put the head phones on.

"What're you doing?" She asked him.

"I thought I'd check out your music since you already saw mine. And to also get your name since you were very rude and didn't introduce yourself to me earlier." He grinned at her, showing off his dimples.

Outside, the light of the sun brightened Tate's eyes, making the color resemble dark chocolate and he looked like a normal, happy person rather than the intense individual Davey had met earlier.

"Excuse me if I was more focused on the fact that some guy I don't know was in my room, snooping through my things." Davey scoffed.

"To be fair, it was originally my room and you snooped through my stuff first." He shot back playfully.

Rolling her eyes at the boy, Davey couldn't help but like the sassy attitude he had.

"Davinia Motomiya." She introduced herself.

Seeing his eyebrow arch at the sound of her voice, Tate turned to look at her.

"That's your name? Sounds pretty formal." He commented.

He did like the way she pronounced the name, she seemed to have a bit of an accent when she said her name and he liked it.

"Yeah, no one could say it when I was a kid, so they just called me Davey for short." She gave a wry grin.

"Davey." Tate tested the name.

His face then scrunched up.

"Nah, sounds too much like a guy. I know! I'll call you Nia instead." He exclaimed looking excited.

That made Davey giggle, amazed that this person she had just met was the first one to ever try to shorten her name to 'Nia' while everyone else was happy to accept the name 'Davey'.

"Yeah, whatever you want, blondie." She said.

He didn't mind hearing her call him 'blondie' since this time it was spoken with a friendly, kind tone as her entire face brightened with her amusement.

A curious expression formed on his face and Tate began to nod his head, allowing the music to wash over him.

"Not bad. What band is this?" He asked her.

"Hollywood Undead. Why are you still here, Tate? Don't you have anything better to do?" Davey asked with honest confusion as she watched him.

"Nope. I'm bored and in need of entertainment. Thought you could help with that." Tate said.

"And how would I be able to provide this entertainment?" Davey asked, her eyes gaining a playful edge to them that made Tate smirk.

At the gazebo, Yolei and Kari watched as the berry haired girl and the blond boy interacted, the duo laughing and teasing each other.

"We're here for not even two hours and Davey's already found a cute boy to hang out with. How does she always do this?" Yolei complained.

Kari remained silent at that as she stared at the boy with distrust in her eyes, but knew that Davey usually had good instincts about choosing her friends.

After all, even though everyone was so sure that Ken couldn't be trusted, Davey had been friendly with him and helped him intergrate into the group and everyone began to like him and soon trusted him.

Because of the sole fact that Davey seemed to have deemed this boy as safe to be around, Kari would accept it.

"Yolei, please don't start." Kari softly reprimanded.

Copper brown eyes glanced over at Kari and Yolei sighed before looking back over at the duo who were whispering to each other, Davey selecting a different song for Tate to listen to.

"I think it'd be nice for Davey to have a boyfriend, even if it's only for a short time. She deserves to be happy." Kari told Yolei.

The first and last boyfriend she had was Willis Stuart, but they had broken up since they weren't able to see each other as often as they would like since they lived in two different countries.

"Yeah, you're right. I guess they'd also make a cute couple." Yolei shrugged as she watched Davey and Tate.

"Okay, this band is called Tokyo Hotel." She said as 'Girl Got a Gun' started playing on the head phones.

"I think I like the other band better." Tate said honestly.

Davey scoffed at that, but accepted the answer.

"Hey, there you guys are." TK said as he, Cody and Ken all stepped outside.

He and Cody paused, staring Tate in confusion, but Ken simply smiled when he saw how at ease Davey was around him.

"Who are you?" Cody asked as Tate and Davey both stood up from the ground, brushing the leaves off.

"This is Tate, he lives next door." Davey explained as Kari and Yolei made their way over to join the group.

"Nice to meet you, I'm Ken. These are our friends Cody, TK, Yolei and Kari." The plum haired boy introduced everyone who smiled at the blond.

"Hey. So, where are you guys from?" Tate asked as he seemed to gravitate closer to Davey.

"We live in Odaiba, except for Ken. He's from Tamachi." TK explained.

"Aren't those places in Japan?" Tate asked looking displeased with this.

"Yeah. We are Japanese after all. Except for Davey and TK. They're half." Yolei relented.

TK had French lineage from his mother's side of the family while Davey was American/Bulgarian from her mother's side.

"Cool. How long are you guys in LA, then?" Tate asked as he crossed his arms, brushing against Davey's side as he did so.

Everyone seemed to notice how the American seemed to be trying to subtely touch her, but she was oblivious to it.

"For a few weeks. We got here just yesterday when Yolei won those tickets for the house on line." Cody explained.

"She insisted that we keep the ticket and spend the night here since it'll help us get in the mood for Halloween." Ken said, but his smile seemed to falter.

Staying in this house still made him feel uneasy, but he was trying to suck it up so he didn't ruin everyone's fun.

Reminded that Halloween was in a few days, Tate grinned at this as he glanced down at Davey who was turning her iPod off and stuffing it in her pocket.

"Really? Sounds great. Maybe I'll see you guys for Halloween. It gets pretty wild around here." Tate said as he sent a wink down at Davey who smirked up at him in amusement.

"Sure, it could be fun." Kari smiled in her normal pretty way.

But it appeared that Tate only had eyes for Davey which made Kari smile even brighter at the sight.

"Great. Then it's a date." Tate grinend down at Davey, making sure she was looking at him when he said it.

This caused the tanned girl to roll her eyes playfully, but her lips still curved upwards.

(That night...)

Moira had cooked dinner that night for the group and they had insisted she join them, not taking no for an answer.

Davey had even linked arms with the maid to walk her over to the table, making her sit down between her and Kari so she could enjoy the meal as well.

The redheaded maid had been surprised with how forward the young woman was, but she sat down when she saw how welcoming everyone was being towards her and it made her relax for once.

The six people in the kitchen gave off comforting vibes and it allowed Moira to sit back and not worry as she watched the friends all laugh and enjoy themselves.

She grew worried though when Yolei started teasing Davey about Tate and quickly finished her meal before excusing herself, going off to search for someone.

Making her way up to the attic, Moira rushed up the steps and found Tate up there, rolling a red ball into the shadows.

"What are you up to now?" She demanded.

The ball then rolled out of the shadows, being pushed by someone who was sitting in the corner.

"I'm playing with Beau, obviously. Do you need your eyes checked?" Tate asked.

Realizing what he had said, he gave a half apologetic, half smug look at the woman as he stared at her glassy eye.

"Oops." He chirped.

"Why are you chasing after Davinia? What do you have planned for that poor girl?" Moira demanded as she ignored what he said about her eye.

"I'm bored and thought she'd be fun to be with. She's pure and warm, but there's something about her that's just a little wicked, but not in an evil way. I like it." Tate said.

Bored with waiting for the ball to be passed back to him, Beauregard Langdon crept out of the shadows, revealing his disfigured form to the two people in the room.

"Tate, play." He requested with a childish smile on his face.

Giving his younger brother an honest smile, Tate tossed the ball back to him.

"You're not going to hurt this girl like you did to Ms. Violet and her family, are you?" Moira asked looking angered.

The air in the attic had grown frigid at the mention of Violet Harmon, the first ever love Tate had ever had, and the blond boy's eyes seemed to have gone black at the memory of the girl.

Thinking about the two girls, Tate was able to easily pick out the large differences in them.

"If you think I'm trying to replace Violet with Nia, then you're wrong." He stated.

When he first laid eyes on Violet, he was able to see that there was a darkness inside of her and thought he would be able to bond with her because of it.

As for Davey, he couldn't find anything evil about her or even violent.

True, she had a temper and an attitude, but she was filled with light and goodness.

"I just want someone to talk to who doesn't think I'm a monster." Tate confessed.

Closing her eyes at this, Moira felt slight sympathy for the boy.

She knew that living in this hosue for as many years as he had when he was a child, it had a horrible effect on his mind and warped it after all of the horrors he had seen.

Tate wasn't born evil; he just became that way after being exposed to it for so long.

"Don't hurt her. This house is filled with enough people already. We don't need another one, especially a girl that you'll be obsessing over." Moira said before leaving.

Face contorting into an angered expression, Tate gripped the ball tightly in his hands as he felt his body shake with rage.

Whining sadly, Beau crawled over to his brother and laid down on his lap, hoping to calm Tate down.

Placing hand on top of his brother's head, Tate gave him a small smile in thanks before he then disappeared.

He found himself standing in his old room, glancing around at how it didn't seem to change much from over the years.

There were a few times where he wondered what his life would had been like if he had never once lived in the murder house, but there was no way for him to change the past.

His attention was then captured by the sight of Davey entering the room, her hair damp from the shower she had taken (the last family who lived here had ripped out the tub and replaced it with a shower when they heard of the people who drowned in the house).

What really caught his attention was the fact that she was dressed in a white bathrobe and she was untying it to reveal the powder blue colored, lacey bra and panty set she was wearing under it.

When she saw him in her room, she didn't panic or start yelling at him or even close her robe to hide her body, she simply blinked at him in surprise.

"Tate, what are you doing in here?" She asked.

"Right now, I'm enjoying the view. Aren't you going to cover up?" Tate asked as his eyes hungrily ate up the sight of exposed flesh to him.

"Why bother? Seeing someone in their underwear is basically the same as seeing them in their swim suit." Davey shrugged non-challantly.

There was another reason he liked being around this girl.

She was pretty easy-going and didn't obsess so much over things that would have other girls freaking out over.

The last girl he liked, he knew that she would have shied away from him or even yelled at him if he saw her in her underwear.

"So, what are you doing in here anyway?" Davey asked as she walked over to him.

"I just felt like coming to see you. And to ask you something." Tate said as he glanced down at her.

Why did he feel so drawn to her?

Right now, as he stood in front of her, he could feel a warm aura radiating off of her and it made him feel comforted.

Hesitantly, he reached down and took her hands in his, a jolt rushing through him as he felt the spark of something pure and kind rush towards him from the simple touch.

Staring into his eyes, he could have sworn he saw golden flecks in her irises, but they were gone and he played it off as a trick of the light.

"What is it?" Davey asked.

"Well, Halloween is in a few days and I was wondering if you'd let me take you out." Tate explained.

"Take me out? Like, on a date?" She questioned, her lips turning up.

"Yeah, that's exactly it. So, what do you say?" Tate asked as he twined their fingers together.

It would be the last chance he would get to see her or have any contact with her at all since she and her friends wouldn't be staying in the house for the rest of their vacation.

He would like her to stay longer, but wasn't sure if he should kill her.

If he did it, then she would hate him just like she does and he didn't want to suffer through another heartbreak like that.

"Sure, it sounds like fun." Davey smiled.

She could see how apprehensive he seemed to be about asking her and she did find it strange that he would ask her out after only knowing each other for a day, but she would like to spend some more time with him.

His face relaxed and he gave a boyish grin which she found adorable.

"Great. I'll let you get some sleep, then." Tate said.

Pulling her hand up to his mouth, he placed a kiss on her fingers which made her blush and that caused him to smirk in victory.

"Night." He winked before walking out the door.

"Night." She called after him.

Unknown to her, he never really left.

He simply made himself invisible and watched as she changed into her pajamas and then crawled into bed, lying curled up under the blanket which a peaceful expression on her face.

Sitting on the bed, Tate simply watched her as she slept, his eyes watching the movement of her chest as she breathed and reached out to gently run the tips of his fingers along her cheek.

Ignoring how much of a stalker he felt at that moment, Tate remained like that for the rest of the night, watching over his sunshine who made him feel at peace with himself.

Thinking it over, Tate mused that maybe he would be able to kill Davey if it meant she would always be by his side for all times.

The end.
