"The Speed Demon and his Wildcat"

Please enjoy and review!

Groaning as she began to awaken, a young woman opened her eyes, flinching at the dull throbbing in her head.

This woman had burgundy colored hair and tanned skin, but there were two things about her that made her stand out from regular people.

Poking out of her messy hair were two horns that took on the shape of cat ears and sticking out of a hole in her pants was a tail that was made out of thick bone.

"Oh, what happened?" Daisuke Motomiya groaned.

Sitting up and rubbing her head, the woman glanced around and found herself locked up in a cage while she was dressed in her sleeping shorts and tank top.

All around her, she found her school mates were all locked up in cages as well, most of them being younger than she was and were crying.

Jumping to her feet, Daisuke rushed up to the bars and stared out of them at the children who were all cold and frightened.

Thinking back to what had happened last night, she remembered the soldiers who stormed the Xavier Institute and they had shot at all of the mutants, knocking them out before carrying them out of the building to throw them in cages.

Hearing a familiar voice crying, Daisuke looked at the cage beside her and found a little girl with caramel colored hair, green eyes and deer antlers on top of her head in the cage beside hers.

"Fawn!" Daisuke exclaimed softly.

At the sound of the woman's voice, the girl looked up and she crawled over to the end of her cage, reached her arm through it to get to the older mutant.

"Oh, Fawn, don't cry." Daisuke cooed as she kneeled down and took her smaller hand in hers.

"I-I'm scared!" The girl sobbed, her Greek ancent making it difficult to understand her.

"Shh, it's okay. We're going to get out of here." Daisuke smiled at the girl to calm her.

Gaining a determined expression, Daisuke then stood up and walked up to her cage door and gripped the metal bars.

Holding onto them firmly, the Japanese woman then grunted as she began to pull on the bars, using all of her strength to bend the metal.

Growling as she felt the muscles in her arms aching, Daisuke continued to pull and grew satisfied when she managed to create a hole large enough for her to slip through them.

Seeing this, the mutant children began to grow a bit hopeful and stood at their cage doors, calling for the older mutant to break them out.

Going to Fawn's cage first, Daisuke wrapped her hands around the bars and gave a harsh yank, ripping the door off.

Stumbling to her feet, the six year old child rushed over to the catwoman and wrapped her arms around her waist, relieved that she had been set free.

"Fawn, I need you to stay by my side, okay? I'm going to break the others out." Daisuke told her.

Nodding, Fawn clenched her tiny hand into fists onto the woman's shirt and Daisuke made her way over to a cage that had a redheaded girl with green eyes inside of it.

"Hurry, Cat! Those soldiers could be own their way here!" The Scottish woman warned.

"Thanks for the update, Wolfsbane!" Daisuke growled as she gripped onto the bars.

"Oh, and by the way, can't you open these cages too?" She glared at the redhead.

Gaining a sheepish expression, Rahne Sinclare shrugged and tried not to be intimidated by the glare Daisuke was giving her.

"Oh, right. Just get me out and I'll help you get the others out." Rahne told her.

"Good!" Daisuke roared as she yanked the door off.

Sadly, she didn't have the same strength as her father and ripping these doors off was really putting a strain on her.

Freed, Rahne stepped out of her age and thick, red fur appeared all over her body as her teeth turned into fangs.

Rushing over to one of the cages, the wolf-woman ripped the bars open and allowed more of the mutant children to escape.

Just then, the doors to the room opened and two soldiers armed with guns rushed inside.

"Freeze!" Soldier1 yelled.

Everyone froze and turned to face the two men, but Daisuke didn't hesitate.

"Fawn, cover your eyes!" Daisuke ordered.

Doing as she was told, Fawn covered her eyes with her quivering hands and Daisuke rushed at the soldiers.

Dodging the bullets shot at her, Daisuke then jumped at the men, wrapping her arms around soldier1's shoulders to keep her balance as she swung the bottom half of her body forward and thrust out her feet, kicking soldier2 in the face and sending him down to the ground.

Twisting her body, Daisuke pulled soldier1 onto the ground with her and snapped his neck and then her tail lashed out, stabbing soldier2 straight through the head, killing him with ease.

With both men dead, Daisuke stood up and glared down at the insignia of the skeleton with snakes attached to it that the soldiers wore.

Ignoring the looks of shock she got from the people who watched her kill the two soldiers, the skeletal catwoman checked their bodies and found a pair of keys on one of them, hoping they would unlock the cages.

"Wow! You are the biggest badass!" Someone exclaimed.

Turning her head, Daisuke spotted a man who looked to be in his thirties with shoulder length metallic colored hair, pale skin and dark brown eyes.

He was bound in a straight jacket and there were cables attached to it from the ceiling and walls, keeping him in place.

"Wow, what'd you do to get special treatment?" Daisuke asked as she walked over to the large cage.

As the woman was closer in his line of sight, the man allowed his dark brown-almost black-eyes to roam over her body, taking in the sight of the thick thighs, toned arms and large breasts the catwoman had.

"I kept escaping. They didn't like that very much." The silvery haired man smirked.

"I can imagine." Daisuke commented.

Meeting the 20 something year old woman's gaze head on, the man gained a cocky grin as his dark eyes peered down at her, fascinated with her horns and the bone tail that twitched like a cat's.

It was one of the most fascinating physical mutations he had ever seen.

He supposed most people would be disturbed by them, mostly the tail that was made of thick bone, but he liked the way she looked.

"Think you can let me out?" He asked glancing down at the keys in her hands.

Glancing down at the keys, Daisuke raised them and looked like she was about to unlock his cage, but backed away with a smirk much to his surprise.

"Whoa, hey! What're you doing?" He called.

"The kids come out first. Wait your turn." She said and turned her back on him.

Huffing in annoyance, the man pouted as she watched the woman unlock the cages and release the children who all swarmed around Daisuke, clinging to her and Rahne as they took comfort in the older mutants.

"Can you hurry up! This is seriously driving me crazy!" The man whined.

Being forced to remain in one spot for too long was terrible for him and he wanted desperately to be able to move once again.

Glancing over at the man and seeing his distress, Daisuke then turned to Rahne and handed Fawn over to her.

"Wolfsbane, take the kids and go." She ordered.

"What? Cat, I am not leaving without you!" Rahne protested.

"The only thing that should matter right now is keeping the kids safe. Don't argue with me. Get them out of this hell hole. Now." Daisuke demanded.

Knowing she couldn't argue with the other girl, Rahne started herding the children out of the room and Daisuke made her way over to the silver haired man's cage to unlock him.

"How long have you been stuck here?" She asked as she unlocked the cage and walked inside.

"I don't remember. Because of my powers, I have a very different persepctive of time. A minute can feel like an hour, one day could feel like a week. It's worst when I can't move." The man explained.

"That royally sucks." Daisuke muttered in sympathy.

Looking over the straight jacket and how it was attached to the cables, Daisuke let her eyes run over it and wondered how to free the man.

"I think I'm gonna have to rip you out of this." She said.

A smirk then appeared on the man's face and he gave the woman a cocky look.

"Wow, first date and you already wanna get me naked." He teased.

Lips curling into a grin, Daisuke gripped the jacket by the neck and gave a sharp tug, ripping the material and pulling it off of the man.

"Don't flatter yourself. I've seen hotter." She said.

He made an offended sound, but chuckled when he saw the grin on the woman's face as she helped him pull his arms out of the sleeves.

Finally freed after what felt like an eternity, the man cracked his neck and rotated his arms, feeling the tension in his body ease away.

"Come on, we need to get out of here before more of those soldiers show up." Daisuke said as she turned and started walking out of the room.

Just then, she felt the man come up behind her and placed one hand on the back of her head and the other on her lower back.

"Uh, what're you doing?" She asked in confusion.

"I'm holding your head so you don't get whip lash." He explained.

"What?" She questioned.

"Whiiip laaash." He drawled out the words.

Rolling her eyes at the man, Daisuke then gasped as she felt her body suddenly move at a rapid pace and felt like she was caught in some kind of vortex.

Soon, she and the silvery haired man were standing in front of the children, Rahne, Storm, Jean Grey, Cyclopse, Professor X and Wolverine.

"Where's Wildcat?" Wolverine asked as he glanced around.

When the duo suddenly appeared in front of them, the group all jumped in shock and stared at the silver haired man whi grinned brightly at them and Daisuke bent forward, moaning at the strange sensation left in her body.

"You okay, kitten?" The man asked.

"I feel like I'm gonna puke. Let's do it again!" Daisuke then grinned excitedly.

Surprise appeared on the man's face, but then a grin soon lit it up.

No one had ever had that possitive reaction from being moved at that speed.

They usually hated the motion sickness they experienced, but it seemed like this person loved it.

"Wildcat!" Wolverine exclaimed in relief.

Head picking up at the sound of the man's voice, Daisuke smiled at him and stepped away from the silver haired man, walking over to give the hairy man in hug.

"Dad!" Daisuke smiled.

Sighing in relief that his daughter was safe, Wolverine wrapped his arms around her and kept her close to his chest.

"Are you okay?" Wolverine asked as he pulled away and looked the young woman over.

He had almost gone on a rampage when he couldn't find his daughter in the mansion during the invasion and was relieved to find she was safe.

"I'm fine. Don't worry about it. Who's the blue guy?" Daisuke asked when she noticed the demonic looking man who seemed quite shy.

Perking up at being addressed by the girl who had a frightening mutation like him, the blue man smiled kindly at her.

"Kurt Wagner, but in the munich circus, they called me the incredible Nightcraw-"

"He's a friend." Storm cut him off and gave Daisuke as reassuring smile.

"Got it." Daisuke nodded and flashed Nightcrawler a smile.

"Who the hell is that guy?" Cyclops asked as he glanced over at the silver haired man who had appeared out of thin air with their friend.

"I'm Peter Maximoff. Stryker found me a while ago and kept me locked up. The guy has a sick habbit of experimenting on mutants, especially kids." He frowned.

That information made Storm, Jean, Davey and Rahne all frown in distress at the news.

Rahne even pulled Fawn closer to her, wanting to protect the easily startled child.

"We have to get everyone out of here, now." Cyclops said as he helped the Professor to stand up properly.

"Right. We came here on the Black Bird. Peter, you can move pretty fast, right?" Storm asked as she looked at the man.

"Yeah." Peter smirked smugly at this fact.

"Good. I need you to take Daisuke to the jet and she can fly it over to us." Storm ordered.

"Who's Daisuke?" Peter questioned.

"That'd be me." Daisuke spoke up making the man look at her and grin easily.

"Right. Hang on, kitten." Peter said as he placed his arm on her back and the other under her legs.

Easily scooping her up into his arms, Peter then took off into the snowy area outside while Wolverine watched them go with a glare.

"I don't like him." Wolverine stated.

"Logan..." Jean reprimanded with an amused expression.

"Can ya save the over protective father routine for later? Thsi palce is gonna flood in any minute." Cyclops said.

Knowing he would have to deal with a man showing interest in his daughter for another time, Wolverine picked up a few of the children and helped lead them out of the facility.

Peter soon appeared inside the jet, making the two blond boys and brunette girl inside jump in surprise.

"Daisuke?" Rogue gasped.

"Talk later. We need to go pick up the others." Daisuke said as Peter set her down on her feet.

She rushed over to the pilot's seat and remembered the lessons Cyclops had given her on how to fly the jet.

"So, who are you?" Bobby Drake asked as he eyed the new mutant.

"Peter. I was locked up by Stryker. You?" He asked.

"Bobby. This is my girlfriend Rogue and this is John." The blue eyed blond introduced.

"I prefer Pyro, actually." John interjected.

"Cool with me." Peter shrugged.

Feeling the jet rising into the air, the group all took their seats and buckled in as Daisuke flew it over to the facility to pick everyone up.

Flying over to the facility, she found her father and friends had all began to exit the building and she flew the jet down onto the ground.

Opening the hanger, she watched as the children were all running inside and Nightcrawler teleported inside in a plume of smoke, setting Professor X down in one of the chairs.

"Nice job, kid." Wolverine smiled over at his daughter as she got out of the pilot seat and allowed Strom to take her place.

"Everyone strap in, we're getting out of here." Storm called.

As soon as everyone was inside the jet, Storm turned the Black Bird on and it lifted into the air, taking off just as the facility was destroyed by a flood of water.

Sitting on the floor, Daisuke leaned her head against her father's shoulder and allowed herself to relax as Wolverine held her hand in his.

Sensing someone else taking a seat on her other side, Daisuke looked up and found Peter smiling at her as he sat down beside her.

His smile was infectious and his dimples were simply adorable, so Daisuke returned the smile with one of her own as she continued to rest her head on her father's shoulder, ignoring the fact that Wolverine was glaring at Peter.

(Four months later...)

Peter had decided to remain at the Xavier Institute while Pyro had left to join Magneto's Brotherhood much to the displeasure of Bobby.

During that time, Peter had spent most of his time around Daisuke much to the annoyance of Wolverine.

He didn't want to accept the fcat that his youngest child was now grown up and wanted her to remain innocent for as long as she could.

At the moment, Daisuke and her half-brother Akihiro were both walking out of the Danger Room, finished with their training for the day.

Both ferals had become irritated with the black leather uniforms they had, they had shed off their top layers.

Akihiro was walking around with his naked, tattooed torso showed off and glistening with sweat.

As for Daisuke, she was simply wearing her uniform pants and her black sports bra.

"I still don't see why we're having this discusion." Daisuke exclaimed as she brushed her burgundy bangs out of her face.

"You're right. There's no reason to be discusing this, because I'm right. Iceman is gay." Akihiro stated.

"No, he isn't. He's dating Rogue." Daisuke reminded.

That simply made Akihiro give his baby sister a wicked smirk as his blue eyes danced with amusement.

"A girl who can kill him if he touches her. Yeah, that's the perfect alibi for him. No one would be surprised if he doesn't kiss her or sleep with her because of it." The Japanese man said.

Eyes growing wide in realization, Daisuke began to mentally curse her older brother for being right.

"It would explain all that tension that was going on with him and Pyro." She muttered.

Akihiro barked out a loud laugh at that and playfully spanked Daisuke on her rump, making the younger woman yelp as she glared up at him.

"I hate it when you do that!" She complained.

Feeling a hand slap her rump a second time, she shrieked and turned to give her brother a harsh glare and bared her fangs at him.

"Aki!" Daisuke yelled.

"What? I didn't do it this time." Akihiro shrugged.

Confused, Daisuke then felt a breeze around her and looked behind her to find Peter leaning up against the wall, a smirk on his face as he lifted his goggles away from his eyes.

"Hey, hot stuff." He greeted.

Smirking at this, Akihiro leaned down and pecked Daisuke's lips before he then sent a wink over at Peter, leaving the speester and wildcat alone.

Unbothered by her brother's disregard for proper behaviour in society, Daisuke turned her eyes onto Peter who was standing standing in front of her.

"Does your brother always do stuff like that?" Peter asked as he stared after the man.

"Yeah, Aki doesn't seem to understand that kissing your siblings counts as incest. It's not a big deal. If he does anything I don't like, I'll just snap his neck. So, what's up?" Daisuke asked as she crossed her arms under her breasts.

Trying not to appear stunned by what the woman had said, Peter flicked his bangs out of his eyes and grinned at her.

"I was going out for Italian food. I want you to come along." Peter said.

"Is that your subtle way of asking me out?" Daisuke questioned.

Grinning, Peter disappeared for a few seconds before returning with a small white flower that had hints of yellow held out towards her.

"Is that vanilla?" Daisuke asked as her eyes grew wide.

She had never seen a vanilla flower before and the sweet scent was over-powering the stench of sweat, metal, smoke and blood that usually tainted the Danger Room.

"I heard from Veemon that you love vanilla." Peter shrugged.

He also noticed that she always smelled like it as well.

"What do you say? Wanna go?" He asked.

Smiling, Daisuke accepted the small, delicate flower and held it between her hands.

"Give me time to shower first." She told him before walking off.

Grinning in victory, Peter then rushed off and went to his room to wait on Daisuke to get ready.

(Later...)

After her shower, Daisuke dried her hair and rubbed vanilla scented lotion onto her body and put on strawberry deoderant before she got dressed into a pair of skinny jeans, a halter top, a jean jacket and black platform heels.

Leaving her room with the flower in her hand, Daisuke jumped back with wide eyes when she found her father standing in front of her door.

"Dad!" She exclaimed.

"You're going on a date with Quicksilver, aren't you?" He asked.

"Seriously? Does anything stay secret in this house?" Daisuke complained.

"You're brother told me." Wolverine stated.

"Big mouth..." Daisuke growled.

Staring down at the flower she was holding gently in her hands, Wolverine recognized it as the one Peter had taken great interest in finding for the woman.

Taking the flower out of his daughter's hands, Wolverine then brushed her hair back to reveal her human ears and tucked the flower behind it.

"Tell me the truth. Do you like this guy?" He asked.

"Yeah, I do." Daisuke nodded.

"And he's good to you?" Wolverine further questioned.

"Dad, where are you going with this?" Daisuke raised an eyebrow at him.

"Look, you know I'm not comfortable with you dating." Wolverine crossed his arms.

"Even though I'm 26." Daisuke muttered.

"Anyway, I want to make sure that the guy you want to be with will take good care of you. It'll give me some peace of mind." Wolverine told her.

Mentally groaning at the way her father was behaving, Daisuke resisted the urge to roll her eyes and stared into the serious face of her father.

"Yes, Dad. He's very sweet to me. Has been ever since we first met." Daisuke confirmed.

Accepting the answer, Wolverine stepped to the side to allow the woman to walk off.

"Then, go have fun. But not too much. I don't feel like becoming a grandpa so soon." Wolverine said.

"Why? You're already old enough to be someone's great-grandfather." Daisuke teased as she walked off.

Rolling his eyes at this, Wolverine then left to check on his motorcycle and make sure none of the students took it out on a joyride again.

Making her way to Peter's room, Daisuke knocked on the door.

As soon as she knocked, the door was flung open and Peter was smiling down at her.

"You look great." He complimented.

"Thanks. So, where are we going anyway?" Daisuke asked as Peter stepped out of his room.

"You'll see." Peter said.

Pulling her into his arms in a princess carry, Peter held the young woman close to his chest before he then took off running.

As they sped off, the world all around them blurred by in a series of colors and shapes.

Hiding her face in Peter's chest, Daisuke kept her eyes closed and remained in the position that would keep her from getting sick.

Feeling Peter come to a stop, Daisuke then lifted her head, but kept her eyes closed.

"We're here!" Peter announced.

Being placed on her feet, Daisuke opened her eyes and gasped at the sight that was before her.

She was staring down into a city and she glanced around at the building she and Peter were both standing in.

"Peter, where are we?" She questioned.

"The best place in the world to get Italian food." Peter smirked as he wrapped an arm around her waist.

Eyes growing as wide as plates, Daisuke stared up at a proud looking Peter in shock and excitement.

"Italy? You took us to Italy?" She demanded and bounced in place.

"I'm confused. Are you happy or mad at me?" Peter frowned as he stared down at the girl.

She was smiling, but her eyes were filled with an on-slaught of emotions.

"A little bit of both." She said.

Staring back down into the city, Daisuke smiled brightly at the sight of the resturants and shops that were spread out all around the area below.

Relieved that she wasn't screaming at her for taking her out of the country, Peter relaxed and tucked her into his side as he simply watched the excitement grow on her face.

"So, where are we going to eat?" Daisuke asked as she glanced up at him.

Being reminded of what they were doing in Italy, Peter pecked her forehead before he then began to back up.

"Right here." He said.

Blinking at that, Daisuke glanced around at the roof they were standing on top of.

"Um, what do you-"

Wind exploded in front of her as Peter took off and within seconds, the roof soon had a table, two chairs, two long candles that were lit, two glasses of wine and a large, freshly made pizza sitting on a plate.

Giggling in awe at the sight before her, Daisuke walked over and Peter pulled her chair out for her.

"You sure know how to charm a woman." She commented.

"Well, to be fair, I did get some pointers from your sister." Peter shrugged as she sat down in the chair.

Pushing her in, Peter then took his seat and smiled.

Picking up his glass, Peter held it up to her and Daisuke couldn't keep the smile off her face as she picked up her own glass and clinked it with his before they both took a sip.

The end.
