"A New Super Soldier"

Please enjoy and review!

It had been three weeks since Davey moved all of her things down into Steve's room and she had even brought down Veemon's bed.

Steve accepted this since he knew that a DigiDestined and Digimon couldn't be separated from each other completely for very long.

Over the last few weeks, Davey found she had been feeling more tired than usual and started eating more foods that she usually hated.

Currently, she was sitting at the kitchen table, eating coconut filled chocolates, something she would never actually eat since the pieces always got stuck in her teetn and irritated her.

As she was sitting on her chair, Tony then walked into the room, having a few grease stains on his face from working in the lab.

"Hey there, Motomiya. Where's Capsicle?" He asked as he walked over to the coffee pot.

"He's out with Bucky visiting their Howling Commando friends. Y'Know, the ones who are still alive." Davey said.

Grabbing his favorite mug, Tony filled it with the coffee and then proceeded to chug it down which made Davey's nose curl up in distaste.

Staring down at the disgusting chocolate in her hand, the cat woman glared at it.

She had been feeling strange for a quite a while now and it was beginning to make her worry.

The others were also suspicious that something was wrong with her, namely Sam and Natasha, but she wasn't sure what to do.

"Hey, Tony, I-I need a sort of favour." Davey stumbled over her words.

Curious over this, Tony walked over to the table and pulled out a chair, sitting down on it.

"What's up future Mrs. Spangles?" He asked.

Resisting the urge to hiss at him, Davey placed a hand over her stomache which had begun to resemble a ball.

"I think I might be sick." She revealed.

"Not possible. You were injected with super soldier serum, meaning you can't get sick. It's simply not possible." Tony denied.

"But there's something wrong with me. I haven't been feeling like myself for a little while now and I'm beginning to worry. Is there anyway you can do a test to see if there's something wrong with me?" Davey asked.

Sighing, Tony was about to deline since he wasn't the best at this type of science, but when he met her eyes, he froze.

Her eyes had gotten all wide and shined with unshed tears while her bottom lip was quivering.

Now he knew why it was difficult for Bucky and CLint to deny this girl anything if she attacked them with a face like that.

Mentally whining, Tony rubbed a hand over his face and knew he was done for.

"Okay, fine. I'll do it. Come on down to the lab and I'll take some blood samples. But I don't understand why you can't just go down to the hospital and have a doctor do this." Tony said.

"Because I want someone I trust to do this." Davey stated.

Even though she may not have intended to, Davey had hit something inside of Tony that made his chest swell with happiness and he felt touched.

He had never had anyone tell him that they trusted him before and it made the dark haired man feel an overwhelming sense of joy.

Clearing his throat and hoping his face hadn't given away the onslaught of emotions he felt from the girl's words, Tony then stood up with his mug in hand.

"Let-Let's go then, Motomiya." He said.

Nodding, Davey stood up and reluctantly grabbed the box of coconut choclates, taking it with her down to the lab.

(The next day...)

After taking a bath, Davey sat down on her bed and was brushing out her damp hair, wondering over the blood test Tony was working on.

He had promised to have some results for her today and she hoped nothing was wrong with her, but she did have a feeling she already knew what the problem was.

Finished with her hair, Davey then pulled on a black tube top and jeans while she grabbed one of Steve's button up shirts to wear.

Walking out into the kitchen area of her and Steve's floor, Davey found Veemon had cooked grilled cheese sandwhiches and tomato soup for an early lunch.

"I thought we had a rule about you using the stove alone." Davey commented.

"I'm not alone. I have JARVIS with me. RIght, buddy?" Veemon grinned up at the ceiling.

"I'm always around, Veemon." The A.I. responded.

That made Davey grin in amusement before she then walked over to the table, sitting down as Veemon placed the soup and sandwhich down in front of her.

Picking up the sandwhich, Davey picked off the crust and then dipped them in the soup before she started munching on them.

As she did so, Steve walked into the room and was carrying a small bouquet of lillies in his hands.

"What are those for?" Davey asked as she felt a smile forming.

Standing in front of his girlfriend, Steve glanced down at the white lillies in his hands and gave the woman a shy smile.

"Well, you haven't been feeling well lately, so I thought these might cheer you up." He explained.

Smiling at her boyfriend, Davey accepted the lillies and sniffed at them, taking in the lovely scent.

"They're beautiful." She said.

Sitting down in the chair beside her, Steve then pulled Davey into a hug and kissed her temple.

"Mr. and Mrs. Rogers, Master Stark has requested your presence in the common area with the rest of the Avengers." JARVIS said.

Hearing what he had called them, Davey rolled her eyes.

Ever since she and Steve moved in together, Tony had wired JARVIS' system to call them Mr. and Mrs. Rogers, despite the fact that they weren't married.

Steve would always smile at this while Clint and Bucky would shoot him glares, being the overprotective brother figures they were.

"We better get going." Veemon said as he turned off the stove.

Standing up, the couple followed after the dragon as they walked to the elevator, riding it up to the common area where everyone else was gathering for the meeting.

Tony was standing by his bar, snickering over the papers he had in his hands, while the others were either sitting on the furniture or standing around them.

"All right, Stark, the happy couple's here. What's going on?" Clint asked when he saw that Davey, Steve and Veemon had arrived.

Head lifting, Tony stared at the couple and he smirked in a very devious way.

"Oh, you guys are not going to believe it." Tony snickered.

Steve was confused as he sat down on the couch beside Bucky and Davey sat down between the two male super soldiers, making the former assassin grin at her in greeting.

"What are you talking about?" Steve asked.

"Yesterday, our resident house cat came to me asking for a blood test. She wanted me to analyze her her blood to see if she was coming down with some type of illness." Tony revealed.

This made Steve look over at his girlfriend in worry and he placed a hand on her knee, silently asking if this was true.

"But that's not possible. She was injected by an advanced form of super soldier serum. Davey shouldn't be able to get sick at all." Bucky protested.

"That's what I said, Winter Wonderland. But, I went ahead and did the test anyway. And I found something very interesting." Tony said.

"What did you find? What's wrong with her?" Steve asked urgently.

"Nothing is wrong with her. But we're going to have a new super soldier running around." Tony informed.

This made everyone give him confused expressions, unsure of what he meant when Bruce, Davey, Sam, Veemon and Natasha all understood what he had meant.

"No way." Sam exclaimed softly.

Staring down at her stomach, Davey gently rubbed the bump and felt a small sense of joy fill her as she realized what this could mean for her and Steve.

"Oh, yes way. Check it out for yourself." Tony said as he held out the papers.

Bruce was the one who accepted them and Natasha was quickly at his side, looking over the results.

"It's true. It's all right here. Congragulations." Bruce smiled over at Davey and a confused Steve.

"What are we congragulating?" Bucky asked.

"Oh, my... She's pregnant!" Natasha exclaimed.

The former Russian spy had to resist the urge to rush over and hug Davey tightly, excited that they were going to have a baby running around the tower very soon.

"What? No way! Pregnant? How long?" Clint gasped.

The archer was happy for the girl as well, but he was still stunned that she was going to become a mother at 23 years of age.

"From what the blood test says, Davey is almost two months pregnant." Bruce said as he looked over the paper.

"This is so great! I can't wait to see how a human baby is born." Veemon exclaimed with an awed expression.

"I don't believe this. Steve?" Bucky looked over at his best friend.

He noticed that the blond had been unnaturally silent since natasha had explained what Tony had meant about them having a new super soldier running around.

Looking over Steve to see how he was dealing with the news, Bucky saw that his childhood friend was staring down at the baby bump with his jaw dropped and eyes wide with shock.

Reaching out, Steve placed his large hand on the bump and gently ran his fingers over it making Davey look up at him, wondering how he felt about the fact that he was going to be a father.

"Steve?" Davey questioned.

"I'm going to be a Daddy." Steve breathed out in shocked awe.

Everyone went silent and turned their attention onto Steve, watching as his shocked expression morphed into a giant smile that lit up his entire face.

Staring into his girlfriend's eyes, Steve then placed his hands on her cheeks and pulled her into a kiss, trying to show her exactly how happy he was that they were going to be parents.

Pulling back, Steve stared into Davey's eyes and carressed her face gently.

"We're going to be parents!" He exclaimed and started kissing her forehead repeatedly.

This caused her to laugh as she simply pulled her boyfriend into a hug, celebrating with him.

The rest of the Avengers all smiled at this, happy for their friends.

"We need to celebrate this. Party tomorrow night!" Tony yelled.

"Tony, no. We're not going to have some wild party. It might not be good for the baby." Bruce scolded making the genius pout.

"We can still have a baby shower." Sam spoke up.

"That still counts as a party. I'm down for it. JARVIS, call Peper and tell her what's going on." Tony said.

"Yes, sir. Congragulations, by the way, Mr. and Mrs. Rogers." JARVIS said before calling Peper Potts to tell her what was going on.

Once Steve released Davey and turned his attention onto the details of what they were going to need to buy for the baby, the couple were being hugged by their friends.

Clint and Bucky both gave Davey kisses on the head while they slapped Steve on the back and Natasha gently hugged the younger woman, ready to start helping her with the baby shower.

(Later that day...)

Back down on their floor, Steve was holding Davey into his side on their bed as they relaxed.

They had been getting phone calls all day from various agents and super heroes who lived in the area who were giving their congragulations on the baby.

Most of them had been added to the guest lift for the baby shower and were discussing who was buying what for the mimi super soldier.

Veemon had left the couple to relax and had placed a few pizzas in the oven to cook for dinner.

"I still can't believe we're going to be parents. This feels like a dream." Steve commented.

"Yeah, I know. I never thought I would ever have a baby though. Never thought I would be a good mother or ever want to be one, but... I'm actually really excited for this. I want to do this." Davey said.

Smiling, Steve then kissed her forehead and placed his hand over her bump, gently carressing it.

"I've always wanted this. To have a family of my own. After waking up from the ice and being drafted into SHIELD, I never thought I would ever get to have this. But now I do. I have a beautiful fiance I love and soon enough we're going to have a child. I can't wait." Steve smiled.

Grinning up at her boyfriend, Davey then registered what he had said and frowned in confusion.

"Fiance? What do you mean by that? We're not getting married." Davey said.

Giving her an amused grin, Steve then climbed off of the bed and Davey sat up as she watched the blond walking off to his closet.

He pulled out a box and walked over to the bed, setting it down and then opened the lid.

"I've been carrying this around for a few weeks now, wondering when would be the best time to give it to you." Steve told her.

Reaching inside the box, Steve pulled out a white gold ring that had a heart shaped diamond on it.

Stunned by the sight of the ring, Davey placed a hand over her mouth and she felt tears spring to her eyes.

Taking in a deep breath, Steve then moved to kneel down in front of his girlfriend, staring up at her to see she was crying and her lips were quivering as they slowly turned up into a smile.

"Davinia Katerina Motomiya, I know we've only been together for about seven months now, but I have only been this truely happy when with you. I want us to be together. Always. I know that not many people get married nowadays to raise children, but I want this. I want more than anything for you to be my wife. So, will you marry me?" He proposed.

Feeling her body shaking with emotions and cursing her hormones for messing with her control, Davey simply threw herself at Steve, kissing him fiercly and clinging to him.

Wrapping his arms around her, Steve returned the kiss and held the woman in his lap as she held onto him, not wanting to let go and be far away from him.

"I do. I do. I will marry you." Davey whispered against his lips.

Smiling at this, Steve kissed his fiance back before he then pulled away and took her left hand in his, sliding the ring onto her finger.

"I love you." Steve told her.

"I love you, too. More than anything. Except maybe the baby." Davey giggled.

Steve chuckled at that as they both turned their attention onto the bump, both of them placing their hands on it, hoping that their child could sense how much they cared for them.

"We're going to spoil him rotten." Steve said.

"Or her. Or them. Oh, God, I hope it's not twins or triplets. That would be painful." Davey grimaced.

This caused Steve to laugh and pull his fiance into his lap, holding her in a loving embrace and thanked whoever had blessed him with this amazing family he was going to have in another seven months.

(Months later...)

Screaming filled the medical wing of Avengers tower, almost shattering the windows.

Steve was standing outside, oacing back and forth as he waited for the birth of his child.

Veemon, Bucky, Clint, Sam, Ken Ichijouji, Wormmon, Willis Stuart, Terriermon and Lopmon were all sitting outside with Steve, watching him.

"Take it easy, Cap. Everything will be fine." Clint assured.

Another shriek filled the air, making all of the men wince.

Bruce and Tony were delivering the baby while Natasha and Peper went inside to comfort Davey, knowing she would want her friends there with her since Steve wasn't allowed in until the baby was born.

"That doesn't sound good." Lopmon whimpered.

"Is Davey okay in there?" Terriermon asked.

"She's fine guys. Labor is a very painful experience for all women, but their bodies were made to take this kind of pain." Willis explained.

"And besides, after the baby is finally born, Steve and Davey will have the wedding. There's no way she's going to miss that." Ken grinned over at Steve.

The couple had agreed to wait until after their child was born before they got married.

Working on the wedding was stressfull and Bruce had decided it would be better for the child's health if they post poned the ceremony until after it was born.

Jun Motomiya was quick to agree with this since it would give her more time to get everything ready for the wedding, wanting to make this the most perfect day of her little sister's life.

"I can't help but worry. I should be in there for my fiance and my child. I hate staying out here and not doing anything." Steve said.

"Steve, sit down and chill out. Davey's a tough dame. She can deal with this." Bucky assured.

The men all whinced when they heard the string of curses and profanities that spilled from Davey's mouth, each man shocked with what they were hearing.

"Girl's got a mouth on her." Sam commented.

"To be fair, she's spent a lot of time with Deadpool." Veemon shrugged.

Soon enough, everything went silent and the men shot to their feet, wondering what was happening in the room.

Pepper then opened the door, smiling softly at the men.

"Steve, do you want to meet your new daughter?" She asked.

With the news that he had a daughter, Steve rushed intot he medical wing, staring at the bed where his tired fiance was lying with their newly washed child held in her arms.

She was smiling in the most loving way possible down at their daughter, looking at her like she was the most precious thing on the planet.

Natasha was standing over them, looking uncharaistically gentle as she gazed down at the mother and child, wishing that she was able to have something like this one day.

Tony and Bruce then walked over, changed out of their scrubs and grinned at Steve.

"She's perfectly healthy. Both of them." Bruce informed the blond.

"Come on, Romanoff. Let's leave these guys alone." Tony called over to the redhead softly.

Jerking back, Natasha nodded and she left the room with Bruce and Tony, leaving Steve alone with his family.

Gathering up his courage, Steve walked over to the bed and stared down at his fiance who met his eyes and smiled up at him.

"Hey. Come say hi to Alexandria." Davey said.

She then lifted the baby up, signaling for Steve to take her.

Reaching out, Steve gathered up the quiet child in his arms and held her protectively to his chest, staring down at her in amazement.

Alexandria Sarah Rogers, or Dria for short, blonde curls of hair on her head and she gazed up at him with beautiful brown eyes that she had inherited from her mother.

What really caught his attention were the cat ears that Dria had that had a light coating of golden fur.

A tiny hand then waved around, trying to reach for her father's face and Steve held a finger out, allowing his daughter to wrap her hand around it.

He was truely mesmorized by his daughter and she was amazingly beautiful, just like her mother.

"She's perfect." He whispered.

This made Davey smile and she rested back against her pillows, feeling drained and wanting to sleep.

"Go show her off. I'm sure the others are dying to see her." Davey grinned.

"Are you sure?" Steve asked.

"I'm tired. I want to take a nap. Go on. I'm okay with this. I love you." Davey whispered as she felt sleep consuming.

"Love you, too." Steve bent down and kissed her forehead.

Standing back, Steve watched as Davey's breathing slowed and she fell into a peaceful sleep.

He smiled down at her before he left his sleeping fiance to show off their daughter to the rest of their friends who were all eagerly waiting.

The end.
