"Bombshell Blonde"
Please enjoy and review!
A black 2008 Ford Mustang pulled up to Mystic Falls High School, easily swerving through the bodies of students who were wandering around and avoiding the other cars in the parking lot.
Pulling into a free parking space, the car door was then opened by a tall, caramel skinned and raspberry haired 18 year old male.
It had been a year since he had moved to Mystic Falls and honestly, with the way things were going in the town, Davis Motomiya was very tempted to simply move away.
Over the last year he had been attacked by vampires, werewolves, witches and a hybrid all because of the insanity that came with his cousin, Elena Gilbert's bloodline.
He loved his cousin, honestly he did, but he was sick of all of the people who had been killed just to keep her safe and the amount of times he had been injured trying to stop her from being harmed.
Gathering up everything he needed, Davis made his way into the school, waving at Tyler Lockwood who had recently become a hybrid and seemed to be in a happier mood than he usually was because of it.
Searching for his locker, Davis walked over to it and found a tall beautiful blonde girl with blue eyes trying to open the locker beside his.
She was grunting in annoyance as she turned the dial once again, but was unable to open the locker.
"Hi." Davis greeted.
Turning her head to look at whoever was speaking to her, the girl turned and she froze at the sight of the raspberry haired male.
"Davis?" She breathed out in shock.
Davis was stunned by the fact that the girl knew what his name was, but what truly confused him was the look of longing and hope that shone in her eyes.
"Uh, yeah, how'd you know my name?" He asked in confusion.
He had never seen the girl before; he would certainly remember that beautiful face and those adorable freckles she had.
Snapping out of her shock, the blonde cleared her throat.
"Just a guess." She said with an English accent.
Hearing the accent the girl had, Davis then remembered the warning Elena had given him last night about Klaus being back in town and how he had returned with a younger sister.
Taking in the form of the beauty before him, it was easy for Davis to conclude that she was an Original.
"You need some help with your locker?" He asked her.
"Uh, yes. It won't open." The Original said as she stepped back.
"That's because you have to turn the dial all the way around first before you use the combination. It's one full spin to the right for the first combo, one for spin to the left for the second number and then a final full spin to the right for the last number." Davis explained.
Raising an eyebrow at that, the blonde then did as she was told, spinning the combination into the dial and was finally able to open her locker without breaking it.
"Huh. Thanks." She grinned at him.
"No problem. First days are already bad enough. Don't want some stupid locker to make it any harder. I'm Davis, by the way. Davis Motomiya." He smiled kindly at her.
Just because the girl was a vampire was no reason to be rude to her.
He was going to get yell from his cousin for this later on, but at the moment, he couldn't find himself to care what Elena did or didn't like.
After all, it wasn't like she cared about his feelings when he urged her to stay away from Damon Salvatore or the break up with Stefan Salvatore when both brothers had proven to be equally as dangerous as the other.
"Rebekah Mikaelson. As you can already tell, I'm new here." She said.
"Yep. Speaking of, do you need any help finding your classes?" He asked her.
"If you wouldn't mind." Rebekah began to smile showing off her dimples.
"Of course not. Did you go see the guidance councilor yet?" Davis asked.
"Yeah, I did." Rebekah nodded.
"Great, then I can show you where your first class is right now." Davis said.
"You sure you don't mind?" Rebekah asked him.
"Nah, don't worry about it. Come on." Davis smiled.
Seeing the smile that lit up the boy's entire face, Rebekah couldn't help but smile back and felt like, if she still had the ability to do so, she would have blushed.
"All right." Rebekah nodded.
After closing her locker, Rebekah followed Davis around the school, showing him her time table and listened intently as he pointed out classes to her.
Soon enough, they arrived at their first class, which was history and Davis mentally winced when he found Elena, Stefan and Caroline Forbes in the room, knowing that the females would be giving him a hard time for showing Rebekah around.
"Davis, you're late." Alaric Saltzman, the history teacher/vampire hunter, teased.
"Sorry, I was showing around the new girl." Davis said as Rebekah clung to his arm, smirking over at Elena who was staring at them in disbelief.
"Hello there. I'm Rebekah and history happens to be my favorite subject." She greeted.
She then pulled Davis with her over to a couple of empty seats, sitting down beside the boy and smirked when she felt the glares of Caroline and Elena on her.
(Later that day...)
Just like Davis had predicted, Elena had grabbed him after history class was done and dragged him into the girl's bathroom to yell at him for spending time with Rebekah and Caroline showed her jealousy of the other girl who was spending time with Tyler.
Davis stated he was simply being polite and that the doppelganger and the baby vamp were not in control of him and couldn't dictate whom he spends his time with, especially since most of the people Elena had welcomed into her life had screwed them all over.
With that said Davis had gone to his next class and spent most of his time with Tyler and their other friend Matt Donovan who, other than Davis, was the only normal human in their group of friends.
It was finally lunch time and Davis had decided to eat outside, not wanting to be anywhere near his cousin who would start yelling at him once again.
Claiming a place on the bleachers, Davis sat down and opened up his box lunch, staring down at the fried shrimp, jasmine rice, grilled chicken, cooked veggies and a brownie that he had made and packed for the day.
As he was eating with a pair of chopsticks, he felt someone sit down beside him on the bleachers and looked to the side to see it was Rebekah.
"I was wondering where you went off to. I was afraid your cousin scared you away from me." The blonde vampire said.
"Hey, if she's allowed to hang out with homicidal vampires, then why can't I do it?" Davis shrugged.
That made Rebekah scoff in amusement before she turned her attention onto the food he was eating.
"Looks good. Did you make that yourself?" She asked although she already knew the answer.
"Yeah. Kinda live alone right now, so I learned." Davis said.
"Why do you live alone?" Rebekah asked inching a bit closer.
"Parents are both dead. The house caught on fire, faulty wiring. And my sister is at college finishing up her degree." Davis informed.
"Sorry about your parents." Rebekah apologized and she sounded more sincere than most people who just met him would have.
"Nah, it's not a big deal. I wasn't really close with them. So, where's your lunch?" Davis asked when he saw her empty handed.
"I didn't bring one. I thought I'd give the cafeteria food a try, but it smelled terrible." Rebekah wrinkled her nose which Davis found adorable.
"Ah, must mean it's meatloaf day." Davis chuckled.
Rebekah grinned, showing off her perfect straight teeth, enjoying the way his laugh sounded.
It was nice being able to speak with someone properly without there being any threats or someone trying to attack her or one of her brothers trying to scare them off.
Then again, this was Davis.
None of her brothers would ever try to scare Davis off; they would simply try to steal him away for themselves, especially Kol.
"Hey, if you want, you can have some of my food. Wouldn't want you to go hungry for the rest of the day." Davis offered.
Stunned by the kind offer, but also knowing she should have expected it from him, Rebekah gave him an amused look.
"You know who I am. You also know that this isn't really the type of food that I need for sustenance." Rebekah said.
"I know, but this will help fight off the cravings. You can't just grab someone and feed off of them. Most of the people in this town are on vervain." Davis revealed.
"If you insist." Rebekah smirked.
Grabbing his hand, Rebekah pulled it up to her mouth and took a bite of the chicken that was already grasped between the chopsticks.
Tasting it, Rebekah grinned and gave Davis a look that made his face flush and she placed a hand on his thigh, gently rubbing at it.
"It tastes wonderful." She complimented.
Leaning forward, Rebekah then started speaking into his ear, feeling him shudder and smelled his arousal spike as her lips brushed against his ear.
"But I'm sure you taste just divine." She purred.
Just then, more students began to arrive out on the field and Rebekah pulled away, pouting as Tyler called Davis to join him in a game of football and the blushing boy all but flew down the bleachers, leaving his food for the Original to finish off.
Deciding to enjoy the game that was being performed in front of her, Rebekah ate the rest of the food and smiled when she saw Davis goofing off with the newly turned hybrid.
"This time, I won't be letting you out of my sights. Not even Mikael can take you from me." Rebekah swore.
The end.
