"The Wolverine and the Demon"

Sorry it's so short. Please enjoy and review!

When Davinia "Davey" Motomiya had arrived at Charles Xavier's school in Bayville, everyone was stunned when they saw her brown furry ears and tail.

They had assumed she was a cat because of them, but she had told them all she was really a wolverine which Logan had took amusement in and he had taken the girl under his claw to train her.

She was a scrappy little thing and learned quickly when it came to fighting, listening to him better than the rest of the students did.

Logan wouldn't lie and say he didn't spoil her, because he really did, but he thought it was fair since Charles spoiled Scott Summers and Jean Grey rotten, so he deemed it fair.

The one thing Logan didn't allow Davey to have, though, were boyfriends, although she had managed to get herself one anyway much to his frustration, but he made sure the little blue demon was kept in line.

There were moments that Logan was able to take Davey away from her overly affectionate boyfriend so he could spend some personal time with the girl he viewed as a daughter.

Recently, they had just returned to the school from a mission that ended in a painful fight that could have ended in them being turned into mindless weapons.

When they returned to the mansion, the people in the living room were stunned to see the two wolverines were covered in burns and scratches while their uniforms were ripped to shreds, hanging off of their bodies, but still covering their private parts.

"What happened to you guys?" Bobby Drake asked in shock at the sight.

"Sabertooth. Deathstrike. Omega Red. Deadpool. Hulk. 'Nough said." Davey grumbled.

Everyone in the living room shared looks of confusion, unable to understand what the raspberry haired female had told them.

"That made no sense." Scott shook his head.

"You guys were attacked by those guys while out on your camping trip?" Jamie Maddox guessed.

"Ding, ding, ding." Davey said in a tired voice as she pointed at the grinning boy.

There was a reason she liked the youngest X-Men over the rest of the members, he was quite intelligent and understood things better than most other people did.

"If ya don't mind, Chuck, we're goin' to bed. Don't bother us for a while. We took a hella of a beatin'." Logan said.

"Yeah, because this guy wouldn't stop provoking the jolly green rage monster. Davey huffed.

Henry "Hank" McCoy shook his head in amusement as he watched the two wolverines scamper off, the female looking agitated with her fur standing on their ends.

"I don't see why you're complainin'. He was beatin' me up most of the time." Logan growled.

"That's because I was nice to him! I didn't purposely try to hurt him or stab him like you did. Also, unlike a certain merc with a mouth, I didn't try and force him to eat a grenade!" Davey complained.

"No, you were just runnin' away." Logan sad.

"Pardon me for having self preservation skills!" Davey pouted.

Rolling his eyes at this, Logan then reached his hand over and ruffled up the girl's already messy hair from the long trek they had back to the school.

After the duo had wandered off to their rooms to shower and go to bed, everyone went back to watching TV, reading or talking before they had been interrupted by the return of the Wolverine and his cub.

Going into her bedroom, Davey had grabbed her pajamas and went off to shower before she returned to her room to climb under her sheets and simply sleep.

What she hadn't been expecting was to find Kurt Wagner sitting on her bed with a bouquet of daisies in his hands.

"Welcome back. I missed you." Kurt gave a fanged smile.

Smiling at the sight of the blue furred mutant, Davey walked over to him as he stood up to greet her.

Over the years, he had gotten quite tall and stood a head taller than she was.

"I missed you, too." Davey smiled.

She wrapped her arms around Kurt's neck, pulling him into a hug and nuzzled against his neck, releasing a content purr.

"I'm sorry it took us so long to get back. We ran into the Hulk, then Sabertooth and a bunch of other people who really seem to hate Logan. Then a building almost fell on top of us." Davey said.

"It's fine. As long as you're home and safe, then nothing matters." Kurt said.

Smiling at how understanding her blue demon was, Davey pulled her head back so she could look into those golden eyes she adored.

"Anyway, I came here to ask you if you wanted to come out on a date with me tomorrow. I've missed spending time with you and wanted to make up for the time lost." Kurt told her.

"I'd love to. But right now, all I want is to take a long nap. Will you stay with me?" Davey asked.

She started fluttering her eyes at him, knowing that Kurt had a difficult time saying no whenever she did it.

Unable to resist, Kurt found himself nodding and allowed Davey to pull him over to her bed.

Shedding off his shirt and jeans, Kurt climbed into bed with Davey, lying down beside her.

Kurt had been raised in a Christian household and was brought up believing that couples shouldn't have sex until after they married.

Davey respected this fact and agreed not to do anything sexual with him, much to the relief of Logan who was now sure he didn't have to kill Kurt to make sure his cub kept her virginity.

But, Davey had managed to convince Kurt to share a bed with her since she enjoyed being held by someone and feeling comforted by someone lying beside her.

Kurt had felt conflicted at first, but decided that it was perfectly fine to lay in bed with his girlfriend, especially since he was just holding her while they slept and weren't doing anything that would be frowned upon.

He was being honest, Kurt loved holding Davey at night and took comfort in having someone who was happy to be close to him and allow him to touch her.

Lying still, Kurt watched as Davey curled up into his side and laid her head on his chest, smiling as she cuddled up into him.

"Sleep well, schatz (sweetheart)." Kurt whispered as he kissed her head.

"Gute nacht (good night)." Davey said in German surprising Kurt.

Listening to Davey's breathing relax, Kurt smiled as he watched over his girlfriend and gently ran his hand down her back.

Kissing her forehead, Kurt settled back and closed his eyes, joining Davey in the realm of dreams.

The end.
