"Rotten to the Core"
Please enjoy and review!
Sitting down on her bed in her dorm room, a violet haired beauty with green eyes was reading over her history book, glaring down at it in annoyance.
She was getting even more frustrated as she continued reading about the adventures of the former heroes of the past, wondering if they knew about how half of their children had grown up to be selfish jerks and bullies.
After going to school in Auradon for a few months, things had settled down and the villain kids were all being accepted kindly by everyone, although some students such as Chad and Audrey were as mean as ever.
Just then, blue flames appeared in the center of the room making the young dark fairy jump in surprise, but a smile found its way onto her face when she realized who it was.
"Hey there, emerald eyes." Davis greeted.
Davis was the second born child of Hades the god of the Underworld.
Everyone thought Davis and his older sister Jun would be the most vile and cruel of all the villain children because their father was Hades, but the truth was, the God adored his two kids and treated them better than the parents of Auradon treated their sons and daughters.
Zeus had even teased his younger brother for being a sap when it came to his children, but Hades would react in the most mature was possible by setting the man's beard on fire.
Jun and Davis were spoiled by their father, but they didn't grow up to be cruel or mean hearted like some of the hero children had and were the kindest people anyone would have the pleasure of meeting.
Ben even had the great pleasure of becoming best friends with Davis while he fawned over Jun from afar.
Davis also happened to be one of the most handsome boys anyone would lay their eyes on with his muscular body, caramel skin, chocolate eyes and raspberry hair, but Mal was the lucky girl who got to call him hers.
Though, Davis would always claim he was the lucky one since the dark fairy was all his.
"Hey, you. What're you doing here?" Mal asked.
Climbing off of the bed, Mal made her way over to Davis and wrapped her arms around his shoulders, leaning up so that he could nuzzle his nose against her own.
She refused to admit it, but she loved these sweet moments they had together and the affection the young God bestowed her with.
"Studying was driving me insane. Also, I heard about a carnival going on and we're going there for some fun." Davis said.
"Oh, really? Is it just us going?" Mal questioned.
"Sadly, no. Evie, Dough, Ben, Carlos, Jane, Lonnie and Jay are all coming with us. But I'm sure we can find a way to lose them and spend some time to ourselves." Davis shrugged.
Grinning at this, Mal kept her arms around his neck and her fingers played with his hair, enjoying standing in his embrace.
"What are we waiting for? Take me away before I die of boredom." Mal told him.
"Yes, ma'am." Davis winked.
Flames covered their bodies in a warm, comforting cover and their transported the couple outside of the school where the rest of their friends were waiting on them.
"Hey, there you guys are." Evie smiled as she had her arms wrapped around Dough's arm.
"We were wondering when you were gonna get here." Carlos said as he had Dude the dog tucked under his arm.
It seemed like the dog had refused to let his master go anywhere without him, so the son of Cruella De Vil had to bring him along.
"Oh, please, we did not make you wait that long." Mal scoffed.
Ben shared an amused expression with Davis before the young King opened the door to the limo that the ground would all be riding in.
"Okay, let's not start a fight. Come on, guys, let's hurry up before the carnival is packed full of people." Ben insisted.
"Yes!" Jay cheered.
"I can't wait to ride this huge roller coaster they're supposed to have." Lonnie said.
Everyone soon gathered into the limo and Mal snuggled into Davis' side, claiming she was only trying to make room for everyone else which made Evie send her a knowing look to which she ignored.
Arriving at the carnival, the group all separated very quickly and Ben wasn't sure who to follow, but decided to go after Carlos and Jane since he would have the least trouble with them.
Wandering around the carnival grounds, Davis and Mal went into a haunted house where they used their powers to frighten the workers inside which had them both laughing at their little prank.
Afterwards, they started going on various rides, opting to leave the Ferris wheel for last when they met up with everyone else.
Walking around, they spotted a ring toss and Mal decided to try it out, knowing that the person running it was scamming everyone, but she had her own way of making sure she won.
"Hey, let's go try that out." Mal pointed.
"The ring toss? Didn't think you'd be into that." Davis commented.
"Let's just go." Mal insisted as she grabbed his hand and pulled him over.
The man at the game smirked at the sight of the couple, looking forward to scamming the teenagers.
"Hey, you two wanna play?" He asked.
"You bet." Mal grinned as she slapped down the cash.
"Great. You get five tries to get the rings on the bottles." The man instructed.
Davis stood back, crossing his arms over his chest and watched as Mal accepted the rings.
He noticed that the rings appeared to be a bit too small to fit around the bottles and frowned at the fact that the man was making it difficult for anyone to win, but kept his mouth shut.
Glancing over at Mal, he noticed that her eyes were glowing a darker shade of green and he smirked as he realized that the girl was going to out scam the scammer.
Tossing the first ring, Mal willed it to wobble around the bottle before it fell around it perfectly.
"That's one." Mal chirped innocently.
The man looked stunned by what had happened, but shrugged it off thinking the girl wouldn't be able to get the rest to fit around the bottles.
He was proven wrong as the last four were thrown one at a time, easily fitting around the bottles and Mal was cheering happily, hiding the smug expression while Davis was fighting off a smirk that wanted to break across his face.
"Um, wow, no-no one has done that before." The man exclaimed looking stunned and slightly outraged.
"My girl has got great aim. She takes archery." Davis winked as he stepped up behind her.
"Right. So, which prize do you want little lady?" The man asked as he tried not to glare.
Eyes roaming over the large prizes, Mal smirked when she spotted a Cerberus toy and glanced back at Davis before she pointed up at it.
"That one." She said.
Spotting the prize his girlfriend had chosen, Davis chuckled as the man took it down from its hook and handed it over to Mal who accepted it and turned around to grin at her boyfriend.
"Let's go play that dart game next." Mal grinned.
"Oh, yeah, that'll be fun." Davis wrapped an arm around her waist and they walked off.
By the end of the afternoon, the couple managed to win three other large prizes and passed by Lonnie and Jay who kept competing against each other, trying to show the other person up.
Teleporting back to the car, Davis dropped off the prizes before he rejoined Mal to continue walking around the carnival, enjoying the day together.
Purchasing two candy apples, Davis then escorted Mal off to where everyone else was waiting for them to go on the Ferris wheel, everyone looking pleased and hyped up on sugar from their day out.
The end.
