"Lavender and Gold"
I'm sorry this is so short compared to my other stories. I wasn't sure how to write this couple. Maybe I'll do another one later on. Please enjoy and review!
Sparrowmon and Veemon both laughed as they raced around the lake, enjoying the beautiful day.
Spring had finally arrived; the snow had melted, and the grass was now green.
Davis Motomiya and Nene Amano decided to go out and enjoy the beautiful weather and only Sparrowmon and Veemon agreed to go out with them.
Cuddling up into Davis' side, Nene smiled as she watched Sparrowmon scoop up Veemon and fly off with him over the lake, both laughing as they did so.
"Guys, be careful! It's still chilly enough for you to get sick fi you fall in the water." Davis called.
"Okay!" Veemon waved at him.
Nene shook her head in amusement and smiled up at Davis as he stared off at the two Digimon.
Sensing the girl's attention on him, Davis glanced down and smiled at her.
"Why don't we leave them to have some fun and go for a walk?" Nene suggested.
"All right. Maybe we can find somewhere to get something to drink. I'm parched." Davis said.
Giving the Digimon one last look to make sure they weren't too close to the lake; the couple turned and began walking off as a slight breeze blew by them.
Nene and Davis had gotten together a few years ago which took all of the DigiDestineds by shock.
Davis had always had feelings for Kari Kamiya, although they seemed to fade and he simply became a protective best friend to the girl which she liked, but no one had expected for him to move on.
As for Nene, her personality was so different from Davis' that no one would have expected for them to fall for each other, but they did.
They had sat down during one of the DigiDestineds gatherings and started talking, realizing that they had much to learn about each other and Nene noticed how kind-hearted Davis was while he was able to see something good in her.
They were total opposites, but they seemed to work together very well.
Nene helped Davis relax and not be so hard headed, while Davis encouraged Nene to step out of her shell and try things she never would and began to smile more around everyone.
While walking around, Davis felt his D-3 begin to beep and looked around for what could have caused it and smield when he spotted Kari with her boyfriend Koichi Kimura.
When the child of Light and Warrior of Darkness became a couple, everyone was shocked, but Davis was the first one to step up and congragulate them.
He was equally as supportive of the couple of Koichi's twin brother Koji Minamoto was.
Noticing the couple, Kari smiled and waved at them.
"Davis, Nene! Hi!" The beautiful brunette called.
Koichi grinned as the two couples walked over to each other.
"I see we weren't the only ones who decided to enjoy the weather." Koichi commented.
"Who knows when it's going to last. And besides, the Digimon were getting restless." Nene shrugged as she cuddled into Davis' side.
Sparrowmon and Veemon had been joined by Gatomon, Salamon, Patamon and Lopmon who had all accompanied Kari and Koichi on their walk around town.
The four friends all smiled at the sight of the Digimon laughing and playing together.
"We were about to find a place to get a drink. You wanna join us?" Davis offered.
"Sounds great." Kari smiled.
"We passed a small café back there. Let's head back and try it out." Koichi suggested.
Smiling, the group of friends spared their Digimon one last glance, watching them all laugh and play, before they headed back to the café to relax.
Nene looked back at the Digimon, watching them all smile and she felt pleased that Sparrowmon seemed very happy around all of her friends.
Noticing that Nene seemed to be focussed on something else, Davis gently nudged her hip with his own which made her look up at him.
"You okay? You look a bit distracted." Davis commented.
"I'm fine, don't worry. Let's just hurry and get to that café. It's starting to get a little chilly." Nene said as she cuddled closer to his side.
Nodding at that, Davis hugged her closer and followed after Kari and Koichi who were giggling ahead of them.
The end.
