Happy Thanksgiving! I'm grateful for all of you.
Despite everything that has gone on this past year and a half, I am grateful for any blessing that was afforded to me and my family. I hope the same is true for all of you. And if not that things will get better because, they will. Be well!
I do not own.
As the dragon's fiery breath descended upon Bofur and Siren, they scattered. The fire hit the floor harmlessly.
"That's worse than my breath in the morning." Bofur joked weakly.
Siren fired her sound attack at the dragon. It staggered back a little bit regained its footing. It roared again before attacking. As it moved forward, Siren saw a flash of light behind it. "Bofur, the last orb, it's behind the dragon." She dodged another attack. "I'll lure it out, you go get it!"
Bofur nodded and watched as Siren blasted the dragon with another sonic attack. The dragon roared with rage. Siren backed further out and the dragon followed. When it was out of the tunnel, Bofur leapt through the small opening behind its hind legs.
Siren watched as Bofur disappeared behind the dragon. When she looked, she moved just in time to avoid another fireball. "Come on ugly! Come closer." She taunted. The dragon unexpected flapped its wings. Siren was knocked back by the sudden wind attack. She was momentarily stunned before seeing the looming figure above her. She blasted it again to force it back. The dragon moved back a fraction enough for her to squeeze out of its line of sight. Moving to its back, she shot the ceiling above the dragon. Debris showered over the dragon. It distracted it long enough for Siren to bolt down the tunnel to where Bofur was.
"Bofur! Did you find the…" She stopped as she saw Bofur unconscious held by the scruff of his neck. The long haired man in red armor holding him was also holding the orb in the other.
"Thank you, young fey for distracting the trap long enough for me to take what is rightfully mine." He sneered. "But where are my manners. I am VanKlaus, high ruler of Baratrum."
Siren blasted him but he used the orb to absorb the attack. Siren glared at him. "That doesn't belong to you!"
"Oh, I beg to differ." He then threw Bofur at her. She jumped to catch her friend. His weight pulled her down. When she looked up, VanKlaus was walking past her and out to the tunnel.
"Come back here!" She yelled. Gently putting down Bofur, she got up to chase after him only to be confronted by the dragon. She slowly edged backwards as the dragon menacingly advanced. She heard VanKlaus's evil laughter from behind it. She wondered how he was able to walk past the dragon. She had a vague thought that perhaps the orb held the answer. But she had no other time to wonder when the dragon attacked and she realized she had nowhere to escape.

Reselda's scream pierced through Roy's brain. Pushing past the darkness that threatened to engulf him, he swung his arm. A new weapon sprouted from his arm. A long broad sword sliced through the bandages restricting him. He fell to the floor. Ripping off the residual bandages with his other hand, he swung his sword. Quattuor screamed as he grabbed his middle. Blood seeped through his fingers. Roy wasted no time and roundhouse kicked him in the head. When he was down, he ran to where his brother and princess fled.
Reselda shut her eyes expecting to feel the hard ground. When nothing happened, she opened one eye. The other eye flew open. She was floating in the air inches from the ground. Looking around in surprise, she saw Conrad with both hands up and face scrunched up in concentration.
"Conrad?" She asked in shock.
His eyes flew open and Reselda landed with a thud. He collapsed on the floor panting.
"Sorry," He gasped. "Never tried that before."
Reselda rolled onto her back and sat up. "That's fine. Thank you." Then she clutched at her side. "The orbs!"
"Looking for these?" The man in red armor smirked holding up her satchel. The shadow creature floated behind him.
"VanKlaus!" Reselda narrowed her eyes. "You fiend!"
"Flattery will get you nowhere." He chuckled. He poured the orbs from the bag into his other hand joining the one that was already in his hand. "Hmm, four in one go. Not bad."
"Those belong to Provdencia!" Reselda snapped.
"Bah, you fools didn't know what to do with this type of power." He snarled. "But I do." The orbs glowed in his hands. "Perhaps you will like a taste of what the orbs can do?"
"Van Klaus! No!" Reselda screamed as he aimed the orbs toward Provdencia.
Sorry, for the late upload. It's been a day…
