so, here's chapter eleven of my fanfiction, 'Frozen Face-Down: A Modern Take on Disney's Frozen'. it's been a long time since I have updated this fanfiction, hasn't it? I'm currently working on several other fanfictions which have been occupying my workspace environment on my desktop computer, and there are even more fanfiction chapters which I would like to finish before the end of the year comes back around, once again. I especially wanna get some more fanfictions up and running before my next vacation. anyway, this eleventh chapter of 'Frozen Face-Down: A Modern Take on Disney's Frozen' is a full-on two-thousand-seven-hundred-sixty-three words worth of storyline, give or take a few words. the storyline for my fanfictions has never included the headnotes such as this one, right here, nor have my fanfictions' storylines ever included the mandatory disclaimers that are the paragraphs following the headnotes, and I'm not about to change that now. so, anyway, on with the disclaimer.
disclamation: I do not own Disney's 'Frozen' of 2013 in any way, shape, or form unless owning the film on Bluray and DVD would count for that. although, I can't help but find that doubtful. I also confess to not even owning this fanfiction's own storyline. the storyline is actually owned by another blogger on this website under the penname of classicdisneyFTW. their fanfiction is simply titled 'Face Down'. I just hope that I'm not copying off too much of their storyline. at least, I'm admitting to it and confessing to it has to count for something, doesn't it? ahem, I welcome your comments as long as they are in no way negative. the only things in this fanfiction which I truly own is my OC limited to this fanfiction, itself, Freya Nigari, Anna's only friend from her time as a high schooler.
Anna took another bite of her chocolate cake donut while marching down the sidewalk on hers and Freya's way to Student Services in the Castle Building. Freya did not get a donut on her way to Student Services. Both foster sisters were still pretty downhearted about their encounter with Elsa recently. Anna had wanted some comfort food while Freya was just too depressed about it to eat anything at all. Their joint encounter with Anna's biological sister had been playing over and over and over again in hers and Freya's minds for the past few days since then. It had been the first time either one of them had seen Elsa in over a year and she just tells the two of them to go away? Why? What on Earth had happened to Elsa that had made her so reclusive and afraid of the world outside? Had Anna done something to her? Had Freya? Just what was going on inside Elsa's head?
Once Anna and her friend, Freya, had finally made their way to their intended target of the Castle Building and marched inside half-conscious and half-heartedly. Anna just continued to munch on her cake donut while she and Freya made their way through the wild throng of students entering and exiting the building. What if even one of them really had done something to Elsa to make her so scared of the world? She did say that she had missed the both of them, however, which meant that neither one of them could have done something to her. So why did Elsa not just come out of her apartment unit even to see just Anna and Freya again, and especially to meet Olaf? Who would turn that little guy down? Elsa could have at least greeted him back when he greeted her.
Unconsciously, Anna and Freya suddenly became aware that the two of them had finally reached Student Services. Neither one of them even saw the person sitting behind the computer, they still stayed so focused on the way things had gone with Elsa. Anna was still munching on her cake donut, so Freya spoke for the both of them. "Hello, sir or miss. My friend and I would like to register for a tutor or two," Freya told the person behind the computer desk while Anna once again took a large bite of her cake donut.
That was when Anna and Freya suddenly heard a voice come from the person behind the computer desk. "Freya, is that you?" the person had said to the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl. "And Anna's here, too? What are the odds?" the person continued. At the sound of her name, Anna and Freya suddenly looked at the front desk. Much to their joint surprise, Hans sat behind it, nametag and all, and smiled at the semi-blonde redhead.
"Han-th?" Anna asked the semi-brunette redhead with a mouth full of donut. Before she spoke to Hans again, the semi-blonde redhead suddenly swallowed the last bit of cake donut in her mouth. "Is that really you?" she asked him again.
"The one and only," Hans told Anna and Freya.
"And you work here?" Freya asked Hans, excited for Anna meeting up with her hunk again on their way to find a tutor for the two of them.
"I know, what are the chances of that?" a voice from behind Anna and Freya asked the two girls. The semi-blonde redhead and the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl turned around to discover the owner of the voice and saw none other than Hans' own friend with whom Freya had sparked an ideal male/female friendship, and with whom the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl was well on her way to falling in love, Sitron.
"Sitron, you're here, too?" Freya asked, blushing a slight tint of pink, yet still very excited at the sight of her own ideal male friend, Sitron.
Then, Hans looked weirdly at Anna as he and Sitron both chuckled slightly. The semi-brunette redhead then pointed towards Anna's cheek. "If you don't mind, Anna..." Hans began to say to her before Sitron finished for him.
"You got a little something on your cheek," Sitron told Anna.
"What? What is it?" Anna said, joining in on Hans and Sitron's chuckling, all while Freya only sighed at her high school friend.
"Just touch your right cheek, Anna. Please!" Freya told her friend, refusing to laugh at Anna and only sympathizing with her friend instead.
Anna did what she was told and touched her right hand to her face and felt the chocolate donut frosting on it. "Oh. Oh!" She tried to wipe it away and got a little help from her high school friend, Freya. 'Seriously,' the semi-blonde redhead thought in her head. 'Couldn't there have been a better person to look just like a total idiot in front of?''
Freya just looked at Anna with empathy in her own eyes, as though she were telling Anna in her own head, 'It's OK, Anna! Not even a mistake as smalltime as this would ever make anyone stop liking you. This part of you didn't make me not like you, anymore, did it?' Anna heard Freya's silent words from the heart.
Once the two of them had cleaned up the semi-blonde redhead's right cheek, Anna and Freya finally faced their bodies back towards Hans and Sitron. "Hi, you two," Anna said to both semi-brunette redhead and his half-blonde, half-brunette friend, Sitron, in addition on her own raven-haired, ivory-skinned friend, Freya's, behalf.
"Hi to the two of you, yourselves," Hans responded to Anna and Freya before Sitron added a bit to his friend's greeting to the two girls.
"A little hungry, I see, aren't we, Anna?" Sitron asked the semi-blonde redhead.
"Oh, right, that!" Anna responded to Sitron's question. "Yeah, I know I don't usually make a habit outta eating donuts, but there was a donut shop on the way to Student Services, and I was feeling kinda down and out, so Freya and I just sorta stopped in the donut shop on our way here," Anna told them.
"Ah!" Hans just as soon nodded at Anna. "The need for comfort food. I guess that we've all been there at one time or another."
"That doesn't explain why you have nothing from the donut shop, though, Freya, my friend," Sitron told the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl whose raven-black hair flowed down her back and all the way to the back of her knees.
Freya could not help but turn a turn a slightly darker tint of pink than she was before at the time that Sitron was talking to her about it. "Oh, yeah, while we were at the donut shop, I just told the server 'Nothing for me'," Freya responded.
"Let me guess; it's 'cause you're the kinda girl who's always try to watch your figure, aren't you, my friend?" Sitron assumed Freya's response at the server from the donut shop to be about.
"Actually, I was just too sad even for comfort food," Freya told Sitron. "But watching my figure is another good reason to stay away from food like donuts and such." From there, Freya just chuckled like she was suddenly a nervous wreck around Sitron for reasons she, herself, did not and could not understand.
"We just tried visiting my sister, Elsa, by the way if you wanna know the reason why I had a donut on my personnel," Anna Hans and Sitron. "Freya and I went with a friend of ours, but she just wasn't into seeing either one of us, I guess."
"I have to say that it certainly was pretty weird of her," Freya said, telling everyone her opinion. "The Elsa Fjordsen I remember was a lot more open and welcoming than that shut-in."
"I'm so sorry, you two," Hans told the two high school friends sympathetically.
Anna and Freya both nodded with a depressed sigh. "You two know that you could always try again another time, right?" Sitron asked both of them. "Who knows her reason for it, really. Maybe, she was just having one of those days," Sitron concluded on that very note.
Anna and Freya looked at one another while considering that as a possibility. "Yeah, Anna," Freya told her high school friend. "We could always try again, you know." The raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl pat her semi-blonde redheaded high school friend on the back in comfort towards Anna.
Anna was just as quick to agree with Hans and Sitron as Freya surprisingly was. "Yeah, Hans and Sitron are right," the semi-blonde redhead said to her ivory-skinned, raven-haired high school friend. "Maybe, Elsa really was just having an off day when we visited her. Plus, she's still the same friendly and welcoming sister I've had my whole life underneath that shut-in-like nature she's more than likely grown accustomed to after all that time in solitary," Anna finally finished.
Freya, of course, still believed in Elsa as much as her high school friend, Anna, did. "Yeah, I'm sure that Elsa just needed some time to herself today. We can always visit her tomorrow, anyway, Anna," the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl told her semi-blonde redheaded high school friend. "She'll let the two of us back into her life, eventually. I just know it."
"Absolutely, ladies," Hans told Anna in agreement with her high school friend, Freya.
Anna smiled at Hans. He was just as handsome as she had remembered him to be when she and Freya had first met him and his friend, Sitron. He even popped into Anna's psyche more than she cared to admit. And now Hans was really rocking his green vest embroidered with the school's crest in Student Services. It all just brought his stunning, dreamy green eyes even more than usual.
As for Freya, she really liked the way Sitron was looking in his own green vest which also bore the crest for Arendelle University. The half-blonde, half-brunette guy haunted the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl's psyche nearly every hour between her first day of hers and her semi-blonde redheaded high school friend's new life at university and the hour of which both pairs of friends had met in Student Services at the time. Freya might not have believed that love at first sight was a good thing, but it seemed as though it were happening to her, nonetheless.
"So, uh, about those tutor(s) you girls said you both needed?" Sitron said to both Anna and Freya, snapping them out of their thoughts.
"Wha?" Freya Asked as both she and Anna seemed to be staring off into space at their ideal dream hunks. It was usually expected of Anna, but Freya had learnt that people expected more cautious behavior from her. She could not help it, though, as Sitron had looked super cool as ever to her by then.
It was then that the both of them had finally realized that they had been staring off into space. "Oh, yeah, right," Anna said, blushing furiously at both Hans and Sitron.
"Yeah," Freya said with her face equally as red as Anna's. "We both need a tutor… or two," the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl told the two friends who worked in Student Services.
"Yeah," Anna told the both of them. "it's for, um, math," the semi-blonde redhead finished for her ivory-skinned, raven-haired high school friend and adoptive sister.
"Ah, the kind of tutor that comes in the highest demand," Hans said to both of them. "Let's see what we've got for you."
"Gotta say, Freya, I kinda expected you to be a lot smarter than this," Sitron told the raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl that was his own admirer.
"I admit that I've been kind of distracted as of late," Freya embarrassedly told everyone present at the moment of Sitron's revelation that he thought she was smarter than to need a tutor. Needless to say, it made the poor ivory-skinned, raven-haired girl feel slightly insecure about her lower-than-usual grade in mathematics.
Anna decided to lighten up the atmosphere with her curiosity as to why Hans was merely looking in the drawer to a filing cabinet instead of loaning the girls the numbers of him and his friend, Sitron, themselves. "So, wait a minute," Anna said all of a sudden. "Neither one of you guys are tutors?" she asked both Hans and Sitron.
Of course, Hans just laughed at Anna thinking that he and Sitron could possibly tutor the semi-blonde redhead and her ivory-skinned, raven-haired high school friend. "No, I can't say that either one of us are tutoring material," Hans told both Anna and Freya.
Sitron commented on his and Hans own grades next. "In fact, Dearest Freya, if it makes you feel any better about being as distracted as you have been lately, Hans and I can barely even pass our own classes, never mind showing other people how to get their grades up," he told his ivory-skinned, raven-haired admirer.
Freya suddenly felt a little better about being distracted as of late by the very guy who was speaking to her at the time. "Yeah, I suppose that nobody really has to be a perfect genius, so long as they can just make the grade," she told her half-blonde, half-brunette crush.
"I know what you all mean by that," Anna commented on everyone else's comments.
Then, Hans finally came out of the filing cabinet with the number for the girls' tutor. "Here you ladies are," he told both Anna and Freya. "How would someone who got a scholarship for math sound to the both of you?" he asked them.
Anna and Freya nodded their heads as though they were silently agreeing with one another. "Sounds like the perfect candidate to both of us, Hans," Freya told the semi-brunette redheaded male model type of guy.
Hans then handed a couple sheets of paper to the two high school friends one at a time. "Fill this out, girls," he told them.
Both Anna and Freya filled out their sheets of paper quickly. The two sheets of paper held both the girls' contact information with certain details like their names, their addresses, their phone numbers and finally their emails.
Then, Anna and Freya both handed their sheets of paper back to Hans. He and Sitron both looked over their respective admirers' contact information. "Well, ladies, everything seems as though it's in order," Sitron said to both of the girls regarding their respective contact information.
"Yeah, I guess that it's all in order," Anna said, taking it all in as hers and Freya's time to leave. The raven-haired, ivory-skinned girl looked at her semi-blonde redheaded high school friend, realizing, herself, that the two of them no longer had any reason to stay in Student Services. Needless to say, they both felt rather dejected.
"Now, if you two could just fill these ones out for your tutor, I'm sure you'll get a call or two from them before your next math exam," Sitron told both Anna and Freya, handing the both of them another two sheets of paper from the filing cabinet into which Hans just was at the time.
Anna and Freya's heads both popped back up in surprise as to what Sitron had just said by then. He and his friend, Hans, both gave the two ladies a half smile as the semi-brunette redhead pushed both of the other sheets of paper towards them. The two dreamboats winked at both of the girls as Hans stuck Anna's first paper into his pocket and Sitron did the exact same for Freya's first paper.
Anna felt her stomach do several back flips, while Freya started fanning herself with her own right hand. The two of them both smiled back at Hans and Sitron and took the papers from the semi-brunette redhead. The girls squealed and quickly scribbled down their contact information once more, even though the two of them were barely even aware of just what they were doing. Both Anna and Freya's heads were in such a buzz from just how drawn the two of them both were towards the duo of hunks they were talking with in Student Services. Anna handed the papers back to Hans this time, all while doing her absolute best to keep her smile to a bare minimum. Meanwhile from just behind her, Freya was practically on cloud nine for what was more than likely the first time in her normally pragmatic life.
"You can expect a phone call within close to a week," Hans told the both of them. "Or maybe two weeks."
