Karabast. Are we too late?
"What have they done to you . . . "
I vaguely hear Zeb say, mouth gaping open.
I give a long look at the boy, strapped to a metal bench tilted towards the open doorway we stand in.
He's seriously messed up.
Large scabbing scars cover his bare upper body, running from beneath the waist band of the raggy black pants he's wearing, all the way up his neck nearing his mouth.
Gotta be a saber wound if some kind. Maybe from the inquisitor?
Quickly Zeb rushes to Ezra's side, ripping the mechanical arms off one by one freeing his limp body.
"He's gotta pulse, but we have to hurry."
My eyes bounce between Zeb and Ezra's pale face.
He can't have too long until he's toast. Must be why this compound is nearly completely evacuated.
"Ok, let's get him home."

(Weeks later)
Hera POV:
"How is he?" I ask quietly, the door to the cockpit sliding closed behind me.
Kanan, seated in the copilot seat, stares off through the field at a small silhouette perched upon a large rock.
"No different than yesterday."
I quietly exhale through my nose. "What do the you think he's dealing with?"
"If I could guess, he's probably hearing voices, tempting him towards the dark side." Kanan visibly sighs "but he still hasn't opened up. So I can't be sure."
Sitting in the pilots seat, I pull my knees to my chest and stare off in the direction of Ezra.
He's changed so much so fast.
Over the course of two and a half weeks, Ezra not only changed drastically emotionally, but physically as well.
"How do you like his new look?" I ask glancing towards Kanan.
He lets out a small chuckle "it's different, I'll give him that. Not what I had in mind for a padawan though."
Ezra shaved his head last week, and has found a completely new wardrobe comprised of the darker variety of clothing.
"Time will tell." I mumble more to myself than Kanan.
"Hopefully."

(Sabine POV)
Hmmmm. No, wrong color.
Swiftly I turn a 360 and grab the violet paint canister lying behind me, and plug it into my spray gun.
Ahhh, much better.
I sit back and gaze at the newest addition to mu immensely decorated walls. A large flower now covers a large portion of it.
Not my normal forte, but I like the contrast.
The innocence of the large blue and purple flower is a vast change from the other images depicting loads of depression and war.
I slowly move to sit on my small stool next to my desk.
Maybe now would be a good time to check on Ezra.
The kid had changed. A lot. Gone was the care free attitude, gone were his humorous jokes, and gone was the boy she once knew.
He's dealing with a lot. The inquisitors must have beaten him up real good. It seems he's questioning everything he once knew.
About the Jedi, their little rebellion, and more noticeably, about their crew.
He doesn't seem to trust us. At all.

Sorry for the long wait :( I've just been soooo busy. I'm hoping to write more as our summer comes to an end :)
