A/N: Okay okay okay- so I hate doing these to ya'll, but I just wanted to give you guys a heads up that I'm updating some earlier chapters! Some things in the first few chapters just aren't sitting well with me, so I'm slowly updating them alongside writing the next chapter! I just wanted to give you a bit of an explanation in case you keep seeing this story as 'updated' but you're not actually seeing a new chapter.
Sorry I've been slow on updating this story. Kayanna is near and dear to my heart, but my passion for YJ has faded some, and I've fallen into other fandoms lately. I'm going to slowly finish this story though! Unsure if I'll ever get through the other seasons, but I will try my darndest to get through season one.
Thanks for sticking with me ya'll! I appreciate your kind words and support!

P.s. This doesn't fit into the story anywhere, but have a lil drabble I wrote for Nightfall and Robin to tide you over some! lmao .3.
Nightfall couldn't help the bemused smile that graced her lips as she shook her head. Robin stood before her, masked lenses wide in excitement, a bright grin on his own lips. He was regaling her with the tale of his latest English butchering- fortable- and how it came about. She should really start keeping a dictionary of his words, Nightfall mused to herself as the boy wonder continued to prattle on.
"So I told him sorry, I'm just fine being fortable!" If possible Robin's grin only grew as he chuckled at his own wordplay, the sound causing a pleasant feeling to bubble up within the girl's stomach. Apparently, after an encounter with the Joker in Gotham a few nights ago, Robin had come up with his new word on the fly. It was similar in origins to one of his favorite words- whelmed-, as you could be comfortable or uncomfortable, but why no just fortable? It was basically a state of limbo as the hacker had explained it, but Nightfall didn't fully understand it.
Regardless, his wordplay made Robin happy, and therefore, Nightfall found herself happy. She couldn't really explain it, but she could listen to the boy wonder ramble on about his butchering of the English language all day- even if she never would fully get the gist of how he came up with his words. The waterbender had tried to play along and come up with her own words, but they either a) made even less sense than Robin's, or b) existed as a word already without a prefix or a suffix- no wordplay necessary.
"And what are you two laughing about?" A smirking Kid Flash entered the room. His brows were quirked upwards, an almost knowing look in his eyes. Nightfall immediately felt her face heat up at his insinuating tone, Robin tensing up beside her as his own blush dusted his cheeks. The two shared a brief glance, the waterbender feeling as if her face was on fire even more, before the two glanced away from each other. Her heart hammered in her chest, palms clammy as she pretended to be very intrigued by the cave wall.
Kid Flash looked ready with another quip, but before he could open his mouth, the boy wonder was quick to turn the tables.
"That time you tried to flirt with Black Canary and she kicked your ass."
Kid Flash's eyes widened, Nightfall stifling a laugh as the corners of her lips quirked upwards, "Dude!" The speedster cried out in annoyance, glaring at his so-called 'best friend'.
And as Robin cackled at Kid Flash's embarrassment, his shoulder gently knocking with the waterbender's own, Nightfall found herself neither comfortable or uncomfortable with the current fuzzy feeling in her chest and blush on her cheeks.
She was just fortable.
