A.N. I want to apologies for not including this message earlier. I was meaning to leave a note at the end of Chapter 4.
Anyway keep in mind in the episode "Exchange-of Heart" Harold and Howard would not allow Clyde to eat a pickle because of an incident were a kid chocked to death in the 1800's. Of course because of this Clyde's dads also probably don't allow Clyde to eat any Hot Dogs or Stakes either.
I am not changing anything from chapter 4, however not spoiling too much of the story but I want to point out that just because Lola, and Leni are in the care of Thicc Q.T. Does Not mean they're going to grow up to be hookers, and just because Luan and Lucy are being raise by the Yates Does Not mean they'll have a happy life at the end. The rest of this story will focus in the future and everything that has happened to the Loud Children as they grownups.

Chapter 5. Pains from the Past.
Twenty Years Later…
Deerfield Illinois was well acquainted with the Louder Family. This quiet peaceful town got to know this quiet and peaceful family of three. Especial their adopted son who took on the family name as soon as he was adopted, Lincoln Louder.
When he was fourteen in high school Lincoln met a young girl. Kathrin "Kate" Turner. She was a strawberry blond with hazel eyes and a slim figure. Her father Thomas "Tom" Turner has pitch Black Hair and green eyes. Lincoln and Kate fell madly in love with each other throughout high school. So madly in love that he proposed to her on their senior graduation day. Four years later the two got married shortly after graduating college. Larry and Lora Louder were overjoyed that their son was going to be starting a family of his own and the two will soon be grandparents.
After Lincoln found a good steady job and to provide for his wife. Over the years he and Katy were married the two had three son's together. Michael, Jeffrey, and Franklin.
Michael had white hair just like his fathers with hazel eyes just like his mothers. Jeffrey had pitch black hair and green eyes just like Katy's father. Finally Franklin had blond hair not strawberry blond like his mother but he did have blue eyes like his father.
By this time Lincoln and Kate were both thirty one, Michael was ten, Jeffrey was eight, and finally Franklyn was five. In the sixteen yeas Lincoln was married to Kate he never once told her about his past life and his past family. All Lincoln told Kate about was that he was adopted at the age of eleven. Every time Kate asked him about his past life or what happened before he was adopted Lincoln would quickly change the subject. In the twenty years of living in Deerfield Illinois Lincoln Louder avoid any subject involving his past life and his past family. Until one day.
Lincoln just got home from work he saw Michael and Jeffrey arguing over something. Being the father of the two Lincoln approached them.
As soon as he came up to his two son's her heard Michal say. "Jeffrey! Your Bad Luck!"
At that moment something snapped in Lincoln.
"MICHAEL!" Lincoln roared as he ran up to his eldest son. As soon as Michael saw his father standing right next to him.
(SMACK)
Lincoln slapped him so hard he was almost knocked off his feet.
"DON'T YOU EVER SAY THAT AGAIN!" Lincoln shouted out with rage.
Michael with eye's wide open he could see that his father's face was red. In a state of shock slowly walked back away from his father. Kate who was watch the whole thing happen out from the kitchen window ran out.
"Lincoln! What's Got Into You?!" Kate asked her husband.
At that moment Lincoln's anger left him. After seeing his shocked wife and his fear full son he felt it was time to share something he never wanted to share with any member of his new family.
Lincoln took a deep breath and said. "Kate can I talk to you alone."
As soon as Lincoln and Kate got in the house Lincoln filled with shame said. "First I want to apologize for lashing out against our son."
"I know you Lincoln, It's not like you to get angry like that." Kate explained.
Lincoln walked over to the mantel were a framed photo of him with his parents (His adopted parents) were. It was taken back when he was only eleven years old right after they adopted him.
"Kate do you remember when we first met. How I told you I was adopted and how whenever you asked me what my life was like beforehand I wouldn't talk about it." Lincoln started
Kate knew her husband well. In the ten years the two have been married Lincoln was usually kind and friendly but he'd never want to talk about his past life.
"It's about your past life back when you were eleven. Before you were adopted." Kate said.
With the framed photo of his parents in his hand Lincoln looked his wife in the eyes and said. "Come with me."
He then lead Kate upstairs to the attic were there was an old steamer trunk. Lincoln turned the lights on in the attic and opened it. He pulled out another framed photo of him when he was eleven and shown it to Kate. Kate was baffled It was a photo of him with ten girls age ranging from seventeen to one.
"Who are these girls?" Kate asked
"If you were to ask me when I was eleven before the incident, I would have told you that they are my sisters." Lincoln said
Kate's eyes opened wide. All throughout the years she knew Lincoln, Lincoln Louder would tell everyone that he was an only child, He told his friends that, and he told his wife that all thought out high school, college, and the ten years they were married. Lincoln always said he was an only child and did not have any siblings. For the first time after seeing a photo of Lincoln with ten girls who are Lincoln's sisters she began to wonder. Are there any other secrete her husband is hiding from her, and why does he want to keep this secrete?
"When I was eleven years old, My fifth eldest sister Lynn told me I was bad luck, the entire family believed her. They kicked me out of their house, boarded up my room, and forced me to sleep outside." Lincoln explained.
Kate was cut to the heart by Lincoln's story, She could tell that thinking about the whole ordeal was causing him pain.
"What Happened to them?" She asked
Lincoln then pulled out the old newspaper with the article about the trial of his parents. Kate understood why he would want to keep this a secret from his family.
"I keep that photo and article as both a warning and a reminder, I vowed that if I ever raise a family of my own I will not make the same mistakes my old family made. I will become nothing like my parents, not my adoptive parents, I'm talking about my biological parents or any of my sister." Lincoln explained.
Even though Kate understood her husband pain and how his previous family would hurt him. She still had to ask. "Lincoln. It… it has been over twenty years since the incident. Have you given any thought about looking them up? Giving them a call just to see how they are doing?"
"NO! That Family is dead to me! I Have No Sisters! Nothing you say or do will make me want to talk or meat up with them. I am Not Lincoln Loud, My Name Is Lincoln Louder. I am an only child and I have no sisters." Lincoln explained.
Kate looked down with regret and asked. "Lincoln…Do you know what became of them?"
"Lynn was sentenced to five years in juvie, Both my parents are each serving life sentences. The rest of my sisters were adopted just like me. I don't know nor do I care what happened to them." Lincoln said
Still worried and hesitant Kate finally asked. "Lincoln, What if you ran into one of them? And they recognized you? What would you do?"
"It wouldn't matter. They don't see me as their brother and I certainly don't see them as me sisters. So it make no difference." Lincoln explained.
After explaining to his wife that pains from the past Lincoln called his three son's over and held a brief family meeting.
"Michael! Jeffrey! Franklyn!" Lincoln called out.
At that moment the ten year old, the eight year old, and the five year old, all ran down to the room where their parents were sitting.
"I want you three to know that after what happened today, We need to make some ground rules for the family." Lincoln said
Michael's eyes opened wide as he recalled that incident earlier today. The mere thought scared him. He has never seen his father so angry before in his life. He didn't know why he was angry or what set him off. All he did know was it was from the argument between him and Jeffry earlier that day.
"Dad…Is this about what I said today?" Michael asked worryingly
"Michael, when I was your age, about one year older than you are now. Some girl called me bad luck and she even turn my entire family against me. It resulting in me being kicked out of my house and I was forced to live on the streets." Lincoln explained in a calm quiet tone.
Michael looked down. He knew right then and their why his father snapped at him earlier that day when he called his little brother Jeffrey Bad Luck. Michael also felt sorry for his father for everything that has happened to him after the incident.
"I'm sorry Dad, I didn't know…." Michael started at that moment Lincoln cut him off.
"No Son, I've should Have shared this with you earlier." Lincoln explained.
"Who were they that kicked you out of your house? Was it your family?" Jeffrey asked
"No. They were not my family. They were just some random people whom I use to live with back when I was a child." Lincoln explained.
At that moment a question came to Michael's mind, it was a question he was afraid to ask knowing how his father acted earlier, but he still asked it anyway. "Dad, was that girl your sister?"
This question did get Lincoln aggravated but he did manage to control his emotions. "Well, you could say that she was my evil Step-sister. Like in the story Cinderella. How Cinderella was abused and mistreated by her three evil step-sisters. You could say I had ten evil step-sisters and they were far-far worst then what Cinderella had." Lincoln explained
Kate was a little concerned about her husband's description and explanation of his past life. She did know that his entire family made some very bad choices in kicking him out of their house and forcing him to survive on the streets. But Lincoln is making it sound like his past family were demons from hell.
"So now that I've explained that to both of you. There are a few new rules which I'm instituting that will begin immediately. No Calling Anyone Bad Luck, No Kicking Any Of Your Brothers Out Side. No Boarding Up Your Brothers Rooms, No Fighting Over Seat's In the car, In Fact No Fighting Period!" Lincoln explained
The three brothers were miffed by their father's new strict rules. They never seen their dad so serious and so demanding in their life. A little hesitant and worried Michael asked. "Dad, do you have any plans to revisit your ten step-sisters?"
"NO, I have no intention of visiting them, because they are not my real family." Lincoln clearly stated.
Even though Lincoln has made it clear to his wife and children that he had no intention to reunite with any member of his old family. A series of events are about to take place that would make him change his mind about them.
Three hours north of Deerfield in the City of Chicago. A downtown office worker named Bob just got off work and call a cab to take him to his apartment.
The cab driver was a woman in her early to mid-thirties. She had short brown hair that went down to her shoulders. She wore a button flannel shirt blue jeans and boot. Her face had a few freckles on it. As Bob sat in the back he could see that his drivers name was Lynn.
"Were To?" Lynn asked
"1717 Gourmet Drive." Bob said
Lynn was a little reluctant and a little embarrassed to asked. While she knew the major parts of the city she was unfamiliar with that street.
"Sorry I'm new here. Could you give me some directions?" Lynn asked
"Sure you do know were Lake Shore Drive Is?" Bob asked
"I Sure do." Lynn said
"Just go straight down south on Lake Sure Drive and I'll tell you were to turn." Bob said.
"Got it." Lynn said as she took her passenger to his destination.
As they were driving Bob struck up a conversation with his driver.
"So where you're from?" Bob asked
"Michigan State, Born and Raised." Lynn said
"You're new to this job?" Bob asked
"Well, Yah I've only been a cab driver for the past three weeks." Lynn said
"What did you use to do before becoming a cab driver?" Bob asked
"I've worked a number of jobs. Front counter of a fast food joint, warehouse loader, Pizza Delivery, Truck Driver, Bank Teller, Carnival Ride Worker, and now this, and that's only half the places I've worked." Lynn explained.
"Wow! That's a lot of Jobs." Bob said
"Growing up I wanted to be an athlete, I wanted to play sports on some team, I even wanted to participate in the Olympics at one point." Lynn explained.
"What happened?" Bob asked
Lynn lowered her head. She gave a down cast expression then said. "I've made the biggest mistake of my life when I was thirteen. It's a mistake I've regretted making and I'll continue to regret it until the day I die." She said
"What did you do?" Bob asked
"All I can say was that it costed me everything." Lynn said in a gloom tone.
After the ride Lynn dropped Bob off at his destination. After paying the cab fare he walked into his apartment. The conversation he had with Lynn did hunt his mind. What did she do? Why does she still regret it years later? He will soon learn the truth about Lynn later that night.
Later that evening Bob went down to his local bar. The Bar was called "McCann's" and Bob was a regular at it. The bar was owned and operated by Chandler McCann a Native from Michigan.
"Hey Bob How's it going?" Chandler asked
"Alright Chandler I'll have the usual." Bob said as he took his seat at the bar.
At that moment a woman walked into the bar. It was Lynn Bob's cab driver from earlier. As soon as she walked in Chandler took note of her. Not only did he seem to know her but he also seemed to hate her for some reason as well.
"YOU! What The Hell Are You Doing Here?" Chandler shouted.
Lynn's eyes opened wide. "Chandler?" Lynn said with a shocked facial expression.
Chandler then took out a spray bottle of water, Sprayed Lynn in the face with it, then he walked out from behind the counter, grabbed Lynn by the back of her collar, then he threw her out of his bar. "AND STAY OUT YOU BUM!"
Bob just sat there shocked for a few seconds. Then he asked. "Chandler, why did you do that for?"
"Do you know her?" Chandler asked
"Well I don't know her personally. We just met this evening, she was my cab driver." Bob said
"Oh Really! is that what she's doing now!?" Chandler said with intrigue
"Chandler Why where you so mean to her?" Bob asked
"Because of what she did when she was thirteen years old, Did she tell you what she was doing prior to being a cab driver?" Chandler asked
"Well she did say that she worked a number of jobs." Bob said
"Did she tell you that she spent five years in the Michigan State Juvenile Correctional Facility for beating up her little brother. Everyone in the state of Michigan knows it. That's why she could not keep a job for more than a month. " Chandler explained
Bob's eyes opened wide and his face was like that of shock. The talk he had with his cab driver Lynn came back to haunted him like a bad memory. The number of jobs she worked, The biggest mistake of her life, Why she said she'll regret it till the day she dies, and why she never got to play in any sports like she wanted to. It was because of what she did to her little brother. Bob thought to himself that she must have beaten him up badly for her to be sent to juvie. One thing was for sure. He was never going to get in another cab driven by a woman again.
As for Lynn, After Chandler kicked her out of his bar she went straight to her cab. She drove out to a empty location to be alone. She dropped her head on the steering wheel and began to cry. She wept with guilt and regret over what she did to her little brother all those years ago. Even after all this time she did not want to let anyone know that she was weak. She didn't want anyone to see her crying. Yet after everything that has happened to her all Lynn could think about was the brother whom she was so mean to back in the past. All she wanted to do was to fined him, tell him how sorry that she was for all the bad things she did to him. Even go as far as to beg for his forgiveness.
Unbeknownst to her that her brother was living with his new family. His wife and three sons in a town that was only a three hour drive from where she was. She prays that someday she would see her brother again. Then she could explain to him just how horrible of a sister she was. She prayed that one day he will forgive her for everything that she did to him. Unbeknownst that a chain of events will take place that will lead to these two siblings reuniting.
