A.N. Sorry if I took longer than expected. I've found a new job as well as getting ready for my fall college classes. Like I said I will be updating this but it's going to be a while longer but I'm still writing. There will be a chapter for Clyde and Lily but that would be at a later time.

Chapter 7. The Fallen Athlete.
At first Lynn was a little miffed. She the man was her brother Lincoln by his white hair and appearance, But Lincoln acted like he didn't even know her.
"Lincoln, we lived in the same house together for eleven years." Lynn explained
"I told you. You got the wrong guy." Lincoln stated firmly.
"You don't even remember me?" Lynn asked
"Should I have remembered you?" Lincoln asked
It became clear to Lynn that Lincoln was avoiding her. She knew why but she wasn't going to give up on this.
"Your name is Lincoln Loud and you have ten sisters!" Lynn explained
"My name Is Lincoln Louder and I'm an only child." Lincoln explained
Lynn knew she was getting nowhere.
"Look it's getting late and I have to get home." Lincoln said as he got in his car and drove off.
Lynn was not going to give up on Lincoln, She knew it was her fault that Lincoln does not want to see her anymore and that he doesn't even acknowledge her as family. Lynn spent the past twenty years moving from job to job running hiding just trying to survive. Lynn made a diction that night. Her days from running away and hiding were over. She memorized the name her brother took. "Lincoln Louder" She looked him up in the white pages and she was going to go to his house and explain everything to him. How sorry she was for what she did to her brother, to her family. Even though he denies it and he has every right and reason to deny her, Lynn still saw him as her brother and at the moment he was all the family she had. She was willing to go straight to the house where he and his wife and children live. So she can explain herself, and even beg for his forgiveness. For the first time in twenty years Lincoln and Lynn were going to be reunited and what the Louder family knew about their fathers past, or what they thought they knew about their fathers past was going to be completely different.
Early the next morning in the small town of Deerfield Illinois Lincoln, his wife Kate and their three son's Michael, Jeffrey, and Franklyn still sleeping in after the very eventful day of yesterday. However later that morning Kate realized that she was running low on food in the fridge. So she made a list she went down to the grocery store. Unbeknownst to her that Lynn made the three hour drive to Deerfield and was now parked off to the side of the house where her brother lived with his family. She watched as Kate got into her car and drove off to the grocery store.
The two vehicles reached the parking lot of the store. As soon as the two got out of their car and Kate was about to enter the store Lynn approached her.
"Excuse me, Can I have a word with you?" Lynn asked.
Kate took one good look at her and quickly realized that it was the same woman who approached her husband at the ball park. The same woman who claimed to be Lincoln's sister even though for obvious reasons Lincoln shared with his family he would always deny it and state that he was an only child. After what her husband told her about his past life Kate was a little apprehensive as Lynn approaching her.
"Weren't you the same woman who talked with my husband at the game yesterday?" Kate asked in an uneasy tone
"My name is Lynn Loud Jr. I know you husband is Lincoln, he's also my brother." Lynn started.
Kate was very apprehensive about Lynn. In fact after she appeared to her in the store she wanted to run away, get out and never come back to that same store again. Knowing the kind of person she was as her husband described her as. However not wanting to sound seem rude she still talked with her.
"Yes, I'm well aware of that. He even told me everything that you did to him. Which both explained why he was adopted, and why he doesn't want to talk about his past life. Of course that's why he states he's an only child and has no sisters." Kate explained with very uneasy expression. As she was getting ready to take off. Lynn knew that this was her only chance at reconciling with Lincoln the one thing she wanted more than anything in the world.
"Wait! Look, I know I did a lot of bad things to him in the past, but I want him to know how sorry I am, I want him to know that I am not the person I was. I want him to know I've changed, and I'm a completely different person. I also want him to know that I want nothing more than to have my brother back in my life. " Lynn said pleading with Kate.
Even though she didn't want to stay and talk with Lynn, Kate started to have mixed feelings for her. A part of her wanted to brush her off. Tell her to get lost and never bother her, her husband or her family again. But after hearing her plead a part of her did feel sorry for her. A part of her did want to help her reconcile with her brother whom she clearly explain to him that she was truly and deeply sorry for everything she has done to her.
"I want you to know. The last time I've talked with Lincoln about his sisters and his past life. He said you were all dead to him and that he was an only child who had no sisters." Kate explained
Lynn's face fell, Kate knew the expression of that facial expression. It was the look of hopelessness, of despair, Lynn also looked a little suicidal to her. After seeing Lynn looking down Kate thought to herself that maybe she has changed. Maybe she really wasn't the monster who use to beat and abuse her husband back when he was only a boy. Kate knew by both the tone if her voice and her facial expressions that Lynn really did want to atone for her past and reconcile with her brother.
"I just want my brother back." Lynn said in a quiet barely audible whisper.
At that moment Kate really did felt sorry for Lynn. She could see just how much she regrets her past life, and how much it was killing her inside. Kate made the decision to help Lynn out and reconcile with her brother.
"Look I know he problem won't talk to you if I bring you over to him in person now. However I'll talk with him and explain the situation. Come over to the house to night and we'll talk everything over with him." Kate said.
At that moment a small smile came to Lynn's face. She then through her arms around Kate embracing her in a hug. A Hug which almost knocked the wind out of Kate. She knew how much this meant to Lynn. Kate could also feel wet as Lynn shed tears on her shoulder. Kate hugged Lynn back comforting her and trying to calm her. She felt Lynn's tear soak through her shirt as she cried on her shoulder.
Later that night unbeknownst to Lincoln. Kate told Lynn to come to the house but to wait in the kitchen and she went to talk to her husband and try to explain to him the situation. Lincoln was sitting in the T.V. room with his three sons, Michael, Jeffrey, and Franklin.
Kate came into the T.V. room and said. "You know Lincoln I was thinking. If someone done something bad to you, and they feel really bad that they did it. Would you forgive them?"
Lincoln was perplexed. In the sixteen years he knew Kate she never asked this kind of question before.
"Kate Why would asked a question Like that?" Lincoln asked
"Well I was thinking a lot about your past and how you sisters…" before Kate could finish Lincoln cut in.
"Evil Ex-Step-sisters."
"That's not the point. Remember how after that ball game we went to yesterday. How that woman came to you saying she was your sister?" Kate said.
Lincoln knew what his wife was talking about. He knew of his encounter with Lynn the following day. How after seeing her after years of being apart how she cornered Lincoln and began grilling him about the past. Even though this may have upset Lincoln a bit he maintained his cool and said. "That was a case of mistaken identity. I simply told her she had the wrong guy explained to her who I was."
Kate knew she was getting nowhere with her husband. She decided to be straight honest with him.
"I had a talk with her today. Your sister."
Lincoln's mood changed from that of annoyance to that of anger and of rage. His eye's opened wide and his face was turning red.
"What…Did…You…Say?" he said threw clutched teeth
"Look Lincoln I've talked with Lynn this morning and…" Before Kate could finish Lincoln snapped.
"WHAT DID YOU SAY TO HER!" he shouted out.
Both Michael, Jeffrey, and Franklin looked up at their dad with shocked facial expressions. Even Kate tried to calm herself down before delivering the message. Lynn overheard her brother's voice in the other room and she too began to worry. Kate then calmed herself down before she delivered the news to her.
"I invited her over to come to the house."
At that moment Kate opened the door to the kitchen and out stepped the very last person in the world Lincoln wanted to see standing in his house. He immediately stood up and took a stance in front of his three sons. Lynn knew that stance. It was a defensive stance as if he was protecting his three sons from something dangerous like a wild beast ready to attack them. Lincoln looked at Lynn as if he was looking at a deranged serial killer about to kill him.
"Michael, Jeffrey, Franklin. Go to your rooms." Lincoln said in a surprisingly calm, but unnerving tone.
After the three boys departed for their rooms. Lynn still hesitant about her brother mood slowly sat down on the seat next to him. Kate was very uneasy about the whole ordeal. Lincoln looked as if he was about to snap and fly into mad rampage at any time. Lynn knew why her brother was so angry at her, but she was still determined to reconcile with him.
For a good five maybe ten seconds there was dead silence. Both Lynn and Lincoln had very uncomfortable and unnerving looks on each of their faces. Lynn had a worried and concern look as Lincoln had a very angry expression.
After a few second of dead silence Lincoln then asked. "So why are you here? Don't you have some sports or games to be playing or something?"
"I don't play sports anymore." Lynn said
"Why, did you lose a game, accused one of your teammates of being "Bad Luck" and had them ostracized from society?" Lincoln asked
Lynn knew what Lincoln meant. This hit her like a punch to the stomach. All throughout her childhood she wanted nothing more than to be the best of the best at everything she did. After she served her sentence and graduated from the Juvenile Correctional Facility. Now she wanted nothing more than to reconcile with her only brother. Tell him how sorry she was for everything she did to him.
"Unfortunate not many sports teams or even the Olympics teams for that matter are exactly looking for athletes with Juvie records." Lynn tried to explain
"Serves you right." Lincoln said
"Come on Lincoln! I came here because I want you to know how sorry I am! I'm sorry for everything I've done. I've done to you and I've done to the family. After Juvie no team would let me play. Believe me when I say this. My Juvie Record wasn't the only reason why I was black listed from sports. Everyone in the state of Michigan knew me as that monster who would beat her little brother." Lynn tried to explain.
Lincoln shock his head. "You've convinced the entire family that I was "Bad Luck". I know I may have used it as an excuse but aside from that. You had them kick me out of my own house. Forced to Sleep in the yard like I was some…animal. Even after taking that squirrel suit you still treat me like an animal." He explained trying everything he could to control his anger.
Lynn was on the verge of tears. She could feel the pain and suffering her brother went through all those years ago, and how it was still effecting her.
"You want to know the truth about me Lincoln. After being released from Juvie not only would no one ever let me play on their team again. No one would hire me to work with them after they found out the truth about me. The truth about me was that I've spent the last twenty years trying to find my game in life, my true goal, and what do I have to show for it. NOTHING. I'm no champion. I'm nothing but a sore loser. I'm the biggest loser in the world. I can never forgive myself for what I did, to you and to our family. I'm just a worthless nobody." Lynn explained.
Lincoln gritted his teeth and stood up in front of Lynn.
(SMACK!)
Lincoln slapped Lynn across the face.
"YOU DESERVED IT AFTER WHAT YOU DID TO ME! I SWARE I DON'T EVEN KNOW YOU!" Lincoln shouted.
(SMACK!)
Lincoln slapped her again.
"Why Did You Come Back Here? Do You Really think After everything you did to me and Our family I should just forgiver You?" Lincoln asked
"I'm Sorry Lincoln, I'm Sorry and I really mean it!" Lynn said crying and trembling with both fear and guilt.
At that moment Kate came to her husband's intervention.
"Lincoln Calm Down!" Kate said
Lincoln did manage to calm himself down. Before Kate calmly explained to him.
"Lincoln, she's your sister! You can't just attack your own sister." Kate said
"After the thing's she did to me I don't even want to think of her as human." Lincoln explained
It was at that moment Lincoln did noticed Lynn. She was crying and holding the side of her face Lincoln slapped earlier. It was at that moment Lincoln's anger left him and he began to feel something ells. Pity. Lincoln felt sorry for the one woman whom many years ago made his life a living hell. The one woman whom destroyed their family and forced Lincoln to run away from home, and eventually get adopted by a loving couple.
"It alright! I know! I deserve it! I know it's all my fault our family came to this. I'm not going to argue with you, And I don't blame you." Lynn said as tears streamed down her face.
Lincoln just stood there. He thought Long and hard about why his sister. The one sister who caused so much pain and suffering after all this time came to see him in person. It was at that moment Lincoln knew that she was truly sorry and that she deeply regretted everything that happened to them and their family all those years ago. Still hesitant Lincoln took a seat right next to Lynn.
"Look, Maybe I was a little too hard on you." Lincoln started to say trying to find the right words. "Maybe I've should have let you explain everything to me at the ball park that night. Maybe If I listened to you I would have invited you over here myself."
Still Crying with tears runny down her face. Lynn through her arms around Lincoln and buried her face in his shoulder. She didn't care if he threw her off him, kicked her out of his house, and never told her house. In fact she almost wished he did.
"I really missed you bro." she said as she wept in his arms.
After a few second Lincoln hugged her back. "I missed you too sis." He said quietly and calmly.
Kate was astounded by her husband's transformation from an angry and enrage man to a more calm, caring and compassionate person. As For Lynn she didn't want to lose this moment. After everything she has went through to finally hold her brother, to be reunited with her family, and most important of all for Lincoln. To finally forgive his sister and to have her, and to take her back into his life after years of bitter resentment.
Meanwhile back in their rooms Jeffrey, Michael, and Franklin were all sitting around talking about the woman who entered the house whom their father acted as if a serial killer just stormed into the room.
"Do you think that woman was our father's sister?" Jeffery asked
"No Jeffrey! She's our father's evil step-sister, just like he explained to us." Michael explained
"I thought he had ten evil step-sisters?" Franklin said
At that moment Lincoln called his three sons to the sitting rooms.
"Michael, Jeffrey, Franklin?"
As soon as the three got their they saw the woman whom came into their house. She was standing oppose of their father and mother. Their father look like he's been crying as did the woman. They could tell tears were running down each of their faces.
"This…This is your Aunt Lynn…" Lincoln said fighting back tears.
"Aunt Lynn?" Michael asked
"I thought you said you were and only child?" Jeffrey asked
"You said you had ten evil step-sisters." Franklin explained
Lynn didn't even twitch. She knew what her nephews were talking about. She also knew why they were like that.
"I want you all to sit down and I'll explain everything to you." Lincoln said.
After the three boys took their seats on the couch their father talked with them.
"You see, Remember how I told you that many years ago I lived in that house with ten evil step-sisters? Well the truth is they were my real sisters, my biological family. Your Aunt Lynn did something really mean and really hurtful that caused me to run away. When I told you I had ten evil step-sisters, they were actually my ten biological sisters." Lincoln explained
Lynn looked down with both shame and guilt. It was at that moment she decided to confess to her three nephews.
"It was all my fault. I'm the one who turned the entire family against you father and had him kicked out of our house." Lynn explained
Lincoln could hear the guilt in Lynn's voice and see it on his sister's face. It was at that moment he was ready to do something he was not willing to do in over twenty years.
Lynn looked up at her brother as in front his entire family Lynn apologized for one last time.
"Lincoln, I'm sorry." Lynn said
"Apology accepted Sis." Lincoln said as he finally forgave his sisters for all the bad things she did to him. That night Not only did Lynn at long last reconcile with her brother, But the Louder's have accepted a new member of their family.
