Icy
Before I opened my eyes, I could immediately feel I wasn't on Diamond. I could no longer feel the cold wind on my skin, instead, I felt a vague warmth on my skin. I clenched my eyes closed slightly in mild irritation because I can't usually feel warmth. The reason being my powers and the source of my magic core.
I kept my eyes lightly closed, not wanting to move. I felt weak and extremely tired-which is unusual for me-so I just wanted to stay right here. Wherever 'here' was. Then I pursed my lips slightly. I could feel a lot of positive magic and energy around me, more than I've ever felt. The only time I remember feeling energy like this was when…...!
I then came to the realization where I could very well be. I gasped slightly, my eyes snapping open, as I quickly sat up from a...cot? I glanced my head around the room urgently, taking in my surroundings and praying that I was not where I think I am. I could see that I was in what is very likely an infirmary, but... Why would I be in an infirmary?
I'm not dead, or dying, for all I know or care.
I tried to sit up in a way that would allow me to get off the cot I was on, out the door, and out of this place. But as I moved a wave of nausea and weakness washed over me. It was mild, but I very much disliked it. So I decided just to stay here for a few more seconds, I hoisted my weight back onto the cot. Just sitting with my back against the wall with my legs stretched out in front of me.
I just sat there, staring at nothing in particular, but just looking into the space in front of me. As I did, memories slowly started to flow back into my mind. Diamond... The Shaman Witch... The... Spell. Wait, where in the world were Stormy and Darcy? Please don't let them be on Diamond still, or hurt. It was my fault for bringing them there. If only I could have listened to them and not went there.
The Prime Star couldn't even save Saphire. Why did I go back there thinking I could free her only using my magic?! I'm so reckless I swear. Why can't I just think for a moment before doing things that could potentially hurt others?! Am I that selfish?!
Then, from the far right side of the room, the light wooden door started to slowly open. I raised my eyebrows, unsure of who was behind the door. Please let it be Stormy or Darcy and not one of the fairies. I really don't feel like dealing with the guilt at the moment.
With me still eyeing the doorway, I saw Darcy and Stormy- thank dragons -walk into the room, their expressions were quite surprised that I was awake. I could tell as much, their eyes had widened quickly when they had come into the room. And since the two of them didn't say anything, just stood there, staring and rather shocked. I smiled slightly, smirking.
"So, mind telling me why we're at Alfea of all places?" I questioned plainly, turning and putting my legs over the edge of the cot so I could face the two of them easier. The two of them glanced at each other for a short bit before they looked at me once more.
"Well... I transported us off Diamond. Kat… Helped us get to Alfea," Darcy explained calmly but cautiously, her arms calmly crossed in front of her. She obviously didn't want to tell me the later statement, for whatever reason. I don't know, Darcy's a mystery to me. But what she did say caught my focus.
Oh, dragons... Kat got the three of us to this place? I thought, letting out a mildly exasperated breath as I groaned in frustration slightly before I pulled my knees in, resting my chin on top of them. Will I ever stop owing her?
"Um... Another thing worth noting. She somehow knows about Diamond," Stormy said plainly. My eyes widened as I quickly looked up towards the two of them. I saw Darcy roll her eyes, very likely frustrated with Stormy at the moment. But that wasn't really the issue right now.
"How does she know about that?" I questioned urgently, snapping slightly, turning towards the two witches. Kat wasn't supposed to know, she never was supposed to know and I didn't plan to tell her pretty much ever. So how does she know?
"Nobody told her, so you can calm down. Kat apparently just put the Staircase riddle thing together with what was happening," Darcy explained plainly, trying to make me not lose my sanity. And she of all people knows that when I lose my grip on things it does not end well, for anyone for that matter.
I took in a breath, trying to calm down.
"Did she tell the Winx?" I questioned, still urgently but not snapping as far as I know. Darcy paused for a few seconds before she looked straight at me once more.
"We... Don't know. But if she hasn't told the faries after this long, she's likely not going to tell them at all," she said. She, herself, was still a bit unsure, but still rather confident in her answer. That was enough for me to know.
The secret-my secret-is still safe.
"Even though we fully wanted to see if you came back from death-," Stormy started, I could tell she had more to say. But I had to interrupt as far as I cared at the time.
"I am not dead. I wasn't dead," I said sternly as I leant forwards on the edge of the cot, wanting to stand up and get out of Alfea and back to the hidden clearing in the forest. Dark, yes. Somewhat lonely and isolated from the world, yes. But it's far away from all the faries and people I've tried to hurt and...maybe kill.
I don't like admitting it, but... I have tried to 'annihilate' some people.
As I stood up I stumbled a bit as a slight feeling is dizziness overcame me. I could see Darcy and Stormy wanted to help me to make sure I don't collapse on the floor, but I just shot them a glare and they made the choice to let me go this alone.
"Faragonda... Wants to see us. And I think she wants to get an idea of what's going on, so she told us to come and get you," Darcy explained calmly. She was trying really hard to make this not seem like the sort of thing that is bad as I could see. But I've known her long enough to know when she's twisting her tone and words to favour the person listening to them.
Nice try, I'll give her that. But it's not going to work.
"Fine," I said. I was trying to move on from the fact that even thinking of seeing the Alfea headmistress makes me want to just leave. "Anything else you'd like to tell me before we go?"
Into the depths of fairy oblivion~
"No. That's it," Darcy said, smirking slightly while still smiling. I realized that she very likely read my mind, and heard the 'fairy oblivion' thought. I shot her a look- slightly bitter, but smiling slightly as it amuses me how some things never change -and in response, she just gave me the same look slightly mockingly.
I smiled at the two of them. Even though we are not sisters in actuality, there is still a bond there. Stormy and Darcy have stayed with me for so long, so at least I can take comfort in the fact that they'll be there for me in whatever is going to happen.
I started walking towards the door that leads to the hallway. I opened it and then started going through the empty hallways with Darcy and Stormy following. Surprisingly there were no faries in the school as far as I could see.
They either know about us being here and have run off before we came here. Or they're just all on their home planets and whatnot. If so, that just makes things easier for us.
Soon we had made it to Faragonda's office. As we guessed based on the silver name plaque on the door. I placed my hand over the doorknob and hesitated to turn it.
Come on, I just have to do this.
Just do it and It'll be over.
I took in a deep breath, and I slowly started to turn it.
Kat
I was standing just outside the Alfea gates. The warm and golden sun shone down on me, and I lifted my face up towards it to absorb the comforting and calming warmth of it. The air all around me was filled with heat, but the constantly moving breeze kept the heat from being unbearable.
I glanced down at Luna, who was sitting next to my legs attentively. When she caught my content gaze she meowed happily as she rubbed her face against me.
I smiled in response.
I looked up to the sky as my mind drifted off to what was happening. Things have been going by so quickly that I barely had time to just breathe and contemplate the situation we all were in.
Whatever the threat is-the witch on Diamond, although it seems no one knows much about her except for the Trix-it looks as if even Headmistress Faragonda is worried. Even with all the threats we've been through, I can feel that this is the one that worries her the most.
Please let things be ok...
"Kat!" I heard a familiar voice exclaim gladly. I looked forwards, and my eyes gleamed at the sight that was before me. Six swirling coloured portals were now a short distance from me, and six figures began to emerge from them almost in unison. And from a fushia-coloured portal, a dark-haired and dark-eyed fairy had just come out of the portal.
"Musa!" I exclaimed gladly as I ran to the fairy before we solidly embraced. "I'm so glad you girls are here," I smiled as the hug between the music-fairy and I ended, and I turned my glanced over to the rest of the Winx who were now fully out of their portals.
"It's great to be back at Alfea and to see each other again," Musa pointed out. "Though it's kind of surreal how long it's been." The music fairy glanced over to Stella, who seemed to be quite eager to express herself, but it was a joy to hear all of them after this long.
"Right! I mean, Bloom, Aisha, and I have been stuck inside our castles for three months," the sun-fairy groaned slightly. "If we have to be doing royal duties constantly why not make it a little less boring?" Stella smiled comically before Bloom shoved her slightly.
"Stella!" The fire-fairy scolded, but still chuckling slightly. "It wasn't that bad. And now we're all back together," Bloom smiled as she glanced back at Alfea. I could tell that she as well had missed school as much as the rest of us. The fairy college had become our home now.
The rest of us smiled in response to the redhead's last remark before we started to get back on track thanks to a certain water fairy. "So, I take it that Faragonda wants to meet with all of us?" Aisha questioned plainly.
I nodded. "Yes." I was smiling, but I was still a bit anxious about how the Winx are going to take that we may have to work with the Trix against the threat. The only two I'm worried about are Aisha and Musa, but hopefully, things go well.
"Well, let's not keep her waiting," Tecna pointed out as she glances towards the empty fairy school. I could feel clear waves of nostalgia coming off her. It's nice that she feels emotions more often currently. In the first few years at Alfea, that's the one thing she struggled with.
"Right." All of us besides Tecna nodded in unison. Then the seven of us started walking towards the College at our own paces. Some of us speeding ahead, such as Bloom, and some of us straying behind, Musa for instance. I myself just stayed in between. I wasn't anxious about seeing the Trix again like some of the Winx, but on the other hand, I wasn't amazingly eager.
But I can hide it.
I smiled as I sped up my pace to match Bloom's, and Stella and Aisha followed suit. Then the three of us started happily racing towards the school's entrance with the rest of the group laughing at our antics while trying to catch up. Maybe if there were more simple and carefree moments like this, maybe allying with the Trix and a whole new adventure won't be as bad as we thought.
Soon the seven of us had made it through the arch-shaped entrance into the school. Bloom raced through because she was extremely eager to win the race as the competitive person we know and love. Though she came really close to smashing head-first into the wall beside the actual door she didn't injure herself in any way. After Bloom came me, then Aisha. Stella came in last.
She claimed she lost because of her comment 'if I knew we were going to race then I wouldn't have been wearing heels.' Musa just shook her head, chuckling at the sun fairy, before shooting down her excuse with her words of 'we always wear heels.' I just laughed mildly in response to the two of them and their conversation.
After that, we finally pushed forwards and walked into Alfea college. It was the same as always. The walls were a pale tan colour, the roof a dark turquoise, and a crystal chandelier hung from the center of the ceiling as it twirled and spun an array of prismed colours.
Chatting along the way, we soon came across the dark green door that leads into the Headmistress's office. The seven of us glanced at each other, the looks ranged from anxious to reassuring. Then Bloom, being the braver one out of all of us in this situation, knocked on the door three times with the back of her knuckles.
"Come in girls." We heard the melodic voice of the Headmistress come from the room.
Bloom didn't hesitate as she turned the golden doorknob to the right and then opened it. The door naturally swung into the office instead of into the hallway, barely missing Stella who just walked out of swinging range in mild shock and surprise.
I casually glanced into the room and it looked rather much the same. The walls and the roof were the same tones as the walls downstairs, just a bit lighter. There was a large bookshelf on each wall parallel to one another. In each corner of the room were identical potted plants that were incredibly green and lush. The window behind Headmistress Faragonda's desk had off-red curtains framing the crystal clear glass that let in a wide, golden ray of light.
Darcy, Icy and Stormy were already in the office, and since two of the witches had been lead out of the dorm by the Headmistress I wasn't surprised that they got here earlier than us. The dark-haired witch and the brown-haired witch were standing next to the red velvet chair that Icy was sitting in. She still seemed slightly fatigued and out of it from the attack, but she was conscious and moving.
The seven of us walked into the office and the Headmistress's gaze turned to us and her expression was something of encouragement and urgency. The Trix kept their gazes averted for the most part after Icy had turned only to see that the seven of us were the ones who had entered.
I could feel uncomfortable and cramped energy coming from both of the groups but not from every individual, which gave me some hope that this will not turn out in flames. But still, only having about one-third of each group not feeling awkward is a little concerning.
I felt a little uneasy about this situation, but I can just bury my feelings and pretend they don't exist for now. Normally it's very easy to do and it is hard for others to read me for it. But because of what happened in the past there are too many feelings coming back that I wish I never had to feel. And a have a vivid memory of those things, which does not help in me trying to not show how weird this situation is for me.
"Thank you, Winx, for arriving promptly," the Headmistress acknowledged, her elbows resting on the table with hands clasped together. "I take it that you seven are informed of an extreme threat to the Magical Universe?"
"Yes Headmistress," Flora responded politely.
The rest of us glanced at the caramel-haired fairy and nodded at her slightly. All of us knew that we were facing a threat, and it all dawned on us that this threat could be even more dangerous than Valtor and the Wizards of the Black Circle.
"Ample of you girls." The Headmistress then glanced to the Trix as well as the seven of us. "Now, do any of you know about Diamond? Or anything about it?"
"That's where the last Prime Star was. The planet's deserted, but we don't know much besides that," I answered before one of the Winx could explain.
The Trix were moderately relieved that I did not mention all the details about Diamond and the strange things that happened there. Icy glanced back and she looked really perplexed about why I didn't reveal to the Headmistress the things that I knew about the frozen planet. But the light-haired witch looked back in front of her before I could meet her gaze.
The Headmistress nodded before she met the Trix's eyes. "Do you three know anything about this?"
"We know about the Prime Star," Darcy responded bluntly. "We don't recognize whoever's attacking us."
"I see..." the Headmistress responded. Clearly, the brown-haired witch's words were not the information she was seeking. "And how did you three get to the Woodlands so suddenly?"
The seven of us stayed silent during the interrogation between the Trix and the Headmistress while just glancing at one another. All of us didn't want to get involved in whatever information the witches were keeping even though I am vaguely involved in it for knowing what happened. I couldn't help but wonder if the Trix will be able to withhold their understanding of the situation forever. The Headmistress is likely to find out what happened sooner or later.
"The three of us were on Diamond," Darcy replied with no emotion or uncertainty behind her words. Icy glanced at her sister.
"What is the cause that you three were on that particular planet?"
"Solitude," Stormy replied slightly bitterly. She wanted to get this conversation over with as soon as possible. Especially due to the fact that there are secrets to be kept. The Headmistress appeared to take the Trix's answers as sufficient for now.
"Winx-" She glanced towards us. "Trix-" She looked towards the witches. "The threat we are facing is the most dangerous one yet. Ancient magic has come back, and to fight it..." the Headmistress seemed seriously hesitant to tell us.
"Don't worry Faragonda. We'll give our lives to protect the Magical Universe," Bloom said determinedly. Stormy scoffed slightly at the fairy's statement, but it was silent for pretty much all of us except Musa and me.
From the corner of my eye, I looked at the red-haired fairy. I was more than delighted that she was willing to fight with all her might against a threat we barely know about, but that is what the dilemma is. None of us know what the Shaman Witch is capable of and only four of us know about a fraction of her capabilities. I, too, was ready to fight, but I was also ready to make sure none of us get hurt.
"That is very noble of you, but, sadly, it won't be enough," the Headmistress said to Bloom before continuing. "The only way to defeat this threat is to achieve a transformation thought to be long lost several millennia ago.."
My heart was caught in my chest. I know I should think better by now, but when we had achieved Cosmix and things calmed down I thought there were no other transformations in existence. I've researched in the library, the Archives, even in the Hall of Enchantments and the Book of Faries. There was no other mention of a twelfth fairy form.
"And that transformation is regarded as Inseimix," the Headmistress finished. "It is the only form in existence that both faries and witches can achieve."
"Then why haven't we ever heard about it?" Darcy questioned. I could feel that she wasn't the only one who was seeking explanations as to why Inseimix had been kept a secret.
"Right. After Cosmix and Shiftix..." Musa said. It looked as if she added the witch transformation as an afterthought. "Weren't we done?"
The Headmistress shook her head to herself as if she regrets even bringing this subject up. "Inseimix... Is a very dangerous transformation to gain. No fairy or witch has ever gained it and lived."
Our eyes widened and I let in a silent gasp. "And I thought Enchantix was bad," Stella opinionated as she rolled her eyes in exhaustion.
"So can you at least tell us how to gain it so we have a chance of, I don't know, not dying?" Stormy questioned in likely mild resentment.
The Headmistress nodded. "Inseimix can only be earned by facing your most vulnerable weakness-." Flora, Tecna, and Stella's eyes widened. "Or your most breaking moments of the past." I froze in shock and fear, and I saw Icy clench her first nervously at her side. "All of you all need to agree to do this. The only chance of survival is that both of you, fairies and witches, do this together."
I then felt another hand wrap around my own comfortingly. Looking over to my left, I saw Musa was now standing next to me while smiling sympathetically. Pushing a smile, I gave her a calm but still slightly nervous look. The dark-haired fairy knows everything that has happened to me in the past. I've given it my all to move on, but when you still remember the most painful moments of your life, sometimes you have to lie about how you feel.
"Winx?" The Headmistress questioned as she looked towards us. We all looked towards one another nervously, but soon I silent message went between us, and all seven of our faces turned determined and ready.
"We'll do it, Headmistress," I nodded plainly. If the rest of the Winx feel ready and are able to risk it to gain Inseimix, then I just have to make it through the past and focus on saving the Magic Universe.
My gaze remained fixed on the Headmistress, but I saw a pair of icy-blue eyes look towards me in a bewildered and curious way. The silver-haired witch was wondering why I was supposedly eager to take the risk of facing all my past moments. Icy looked back at the two of her sisters who seemed to be feeling almost identical emotions.
The Headmistress fixed her eyes on the three witches. "Trix?"
Icy, Darcy, and Stormy glanced at each other and a silent message passed between them. "We... Will help the Winx in defeating the-," the silver-haired witch paused and caught her words. "... Threat."
"I am pleased to hear that Icy," the Headmistress remarked with a calm smiled on her face as if she didn't notice any abnormality in the witch's words before the fairy stood up from her seat. "Now, we are to get started on this mission as soon as possible. The ten of you are to report to the History of Magix division. There, you will meet with Mrs. Daphne and she will lend you relics that will assist you in this ordeal." The Headmistress's voice broke softly.
"You are dismissed."
The ten of us walked out of the tan-toned office silently and not saying a word to one another. It didn't help that there was an air of danger land uncertainty looming over us. The two groups stayed with their own and not once did any of us mingle until we had reached the division where Bloom's sister normally resides.
We were met by another neutrally-coloured door except for this time it was Tecna who had opened it to reveal the classroom. The division's walls were a burnt brown colour and the roof and floor as the same tone as the walls in the majority of the school. Around the outer edge of the room, there were auditorium-style seats that had a break down the center that gave space for those entering the room. Pushed back against the far portion of the class head giant, old-wood bookshelves that held all the years of Magix History in the book's pages.
"Bloom!" Daphne waved over from her desk in the center of the room.
"Hey, Daphne!" The red-haired fairy waved back. All of us followed Bloom who was walking towards her sister. "I thought you'd still be on Domino."
"Headmistress Faragonda contacted me. She said it was quite the urgent matter," the pale-haired fairy responded calmly. Daphne was flipping through a giant book that was placed open for all to see.
"It is," Aisha said bitterly. Her arms were crossed in front of her and she wore a scowl on her face.
Daphne's eyes moved towards the Trix and her expression changed to something harder before she focused back on the gold-rimmed book she seemed to be keen about. "I want to show all of you some things."
The pale-haired fairy flipped to a page in the center of the ink-black and gold book. It showed writing that was in a language none of us have seen before and I couldn't make out a single word. Next top that padge was a washed-out depiction of greyed hills and far plains of nothing but dead grass and a few barely living trees that were bare of any leaves or flowers. In the landscape portrayed before us, there was a worn-down temple just barely peeking out over a crumbling hill.
"What is that place?" Icy questioned calmly as she pointed at the depiction.
Daphne glanced up from the book. "That is Oscurità; the Dark World. It holds the most formidable beings and creatures from both the Magic Universe, as well as Earth Mythology."
"So it's like the Legendarium World... But it holds more dangerous creatures?" I questioned.
The pale-haired fairy looked slightly confused. "Yes. How did you know?"
"Well... When Eldora was explaining to us about the Legendarium world I asked if all creatures from mythology are there. She said that the more dangerous monsters are held somewhere else. I'm guessing she was talking about the Dark World," I explained.
Daphne nodded before continuing her explanation. "Oscurità has been closed off for centuries and was done so by Arcadia and Notani; the first fairy and witch in existence." A new page was flipped open by Daphne, and it depicted the blue-toned light fairy and the black-toned witch. "There was a breach in the barrier between Oscurità and the Magic Dimension once. And I think the being that formed that breach is the threat we are facing."
The pale-haired fairy turned several pages forward. A full-page discoloured image was shown and Icy flinched slightly and both her sisters tensed. The woman- creature -on the padge was brown and purple garbed and was holding a wooden staff that was heavily decorated with feathers and beads.
"Who is that?" Tecna questioned curiously.
"She is known as the Shaman Witch. A long time ago she escaped from the Dark World and wreaked havoc on the planet known as Diamond," Daphne explained. Flora and Stella glanced at each other and I saw Icy clench her first angrily.
Darcy placed her hand on her sister's shoulder. 'Calm down,' the witch telepathically communicated to Icy. No one could hear it except for Icy and Darcy, as well as myself. I didn't mean to hear what was communicated. When I did it was too late to stop it.
"Several years ago, the witch froze Diamond solid in ice," Daphne finished. "No one had seen her since. But she is very likely to be to one you girls will have to face."
"But what about the people on Diamond? Are they still alive?" Bloom investigated with an urgent tone.
The frozen planet is of almost uncanny similarity to what happened on the fire fairy's planet- Domino -several years ago. Bloom's tone or urgency and protectiveness towards the citizens of a kingdom that she didn't even know probably came from that. All of us know the two events are not connected though, but Bloom still felt the urge to help Diamond and its people.
"Maybe we can help them," Flora added.
Daphne shook her head solemnly. "No one knows if there are survivors of the attack. Occasionally there have been sightings of an animal or two, but as far as people know it's assumed that no one survived."
The Winx gasped but I remained quiet due to knowing the truth. There are survivors, and we've seen both and we've known one for a lengthy time. "They're not dead..." Icy hissed bitterly to herself and was barely audible while doing so. Not one of the Winx, or Daphne for that matter, seemed to detect her. Musa glimpsed over in the Trix's direction, but I don't think she could make out what the silver-haired witch had said so she looked back in front of her.
I was watching the three witches from the corner of my eye so it wasn't notable to anyone. Icy, as far as I could distinguish, was very close to lashing out or rushing out of the room to get away from the conversation about her planet and survivors. Stormy seemed to have just lost hope that this conversation was going to stray away from topics that would drive her sister closer to the edge of insanity. Darcy was still trying to drive Icy away from possibly losing her temper.
"So is the Dark World where we need to go?" I asked in a tone quicker than my usual one. Everyone's gazes turned to me. "I mean... If there is a breach between Oscurità and here... Is the only way to close it from the inside?"
Daphne nodded, but she had a slight frown on her expression. "Exactly. The only way to fix the breach between the two worlds is to find the ten elements of the Dark World that assisted in creating it in the first place..."
The pale-haired fairy looked towards Bloom. "Fire," she began to list off. "Light, nature, ice." She looked towards Stella, Flora, and Icy. "Water, lightning, technology." Aisha, Stormy, and Tecna. "Mind, music, and shadow," Daphne finished as she glanced over to Darcy, Musa, and me.
"You won't be able to leave Oscurità when you enter until one of you finds your element, therefore gaining Inseimix," Daphne explained. "Has the Headmistress informed you all of the transformation's risks?"
"Yeah," Stormy answered in a mildly bitter tone with her arms crossed in front of her. "She made that quite obvious."
Daphne acknowledged the witch's statement. "This is the most dangerous transformation yet. But it is truly the final one."
"Finally," Stella mumbled to herself.
The pale-haired fairy closed the book in front of her and levitated it into the air before shrinking it in the cloud of light-golden sparkles. "Once you are in the Dark World this book will reveal clues to where the elements can be found." Daphne handed the book over the Bloom.
"So... When are we going to Oscurità?" Darcy questioned warily.
"And how," Musa added plainly.
It was clear that none of us were extremely eager to go into the Dark World without it being guaranteed that we would get out. As well as the part about how we need to gain an ancient and dangerous transformation. My only worry-besides the way that I will very likely have to gain Inseimix-was how we're going to survive and what creatures we'll run into.
"The book will transport you to the Dark World only once. When you're all inside there, you must rely on your instincts and magical abilities to help you," Daphne answered. Her tone was solemn, she herself as well was not sure if we could come out or not. "We have to act now to close the breach, there is no knowing how much time we have before Oscurità overwhelms our worlds."
"Winx, Trix, are you all ready?" Daphne questioned as she looked between the two groups.
"Yes," Icy answered plainly. Darcy and Stormy nodded at the silver-haired witch's statement.
Bloom looked between the six of us and she saw that we all shared the same determined expression. "We're ready Daphne."
The pale-haired fairy nodded, but still was worried. "I wish you farewell on your journey..." The miniaturized book Bloom was holding started to glow with a black and gold-rimmed aura and soon an identically coloured light enveloped all of us. Our eyes widened in awe and realization.
Oh, dragons this is really happening... I clenched my fist nervously and closed my eyes. We are going into Oscurità and there is no saying when we will be able to get back here to the real world.
"Be careful!" Daphne called out. Then a dark light surrounded us and we were pulled into some sort of cylindrical portal. All around us were swirling colours that changed every second. It had an uncanny likeliness to the portal Stella had used to transport Bloom and me to Alfea before our freshmen year.
There's no going back. One of us will have to gain Inseimix to get out of Oscurità... But at that moment in the portal, I made I promise to myself.
If the only way for me to gain Inseimix is the way both Musa, Flora, and I are concerned about...
I will not break.
