Another Akatsuki flavored one shot that happened to turn into two chapters or more.. Oops.

I'm definitely intrigued by this pairing and enjoy writing Sakura with the Akatsuki.

Please enjoy! R/R is appreciated:)

I only own the story

••••••

I dodge a kick swiftly as I jump back and throw a few hits at the man in front of me.

"Come on you prissy bitch, we just want to have some fun!" He calls out as his companion lunges for me only to fall flat on the crumbled ground between us. I shoot a brief glare at the man who spoke before throwing a kunai quickly and dodging another slow move.

Come on Sakura, they're drunk and they're still not going down.

I release a quick breath before jumping over the man in front of me and landing a swift kick to the back of his knee. I hear a satisfying pop before I'm suddenly tumbling backwards trying to reground myself, the other man having thrown me back across the ground.

None of this would be happening if I hadn't gone for drinks with Temari in Suna. Dumb. Dumb decisions of not just staying the night with Temari and instead finding myself tipsy and adamant about heading back to Konoha tonight. I should've been more careful of being followed but I was slightly drunk and enjoying the night air against my skin.

And now here I am, one of my nicer dresses ruined and I'm having to fight two drunk bastards who saw me as an easy target. I growl out, getting sick of this fight, before slamming my fist into the ground sending them both clambering into the crevice created. I make an approving noise, ready to head home only to feel the ground under my feet crumbling before I realize my surroundings and the fact I was way too close to the hill to have rocked the ground.

"Oh-" I start before tumbling back with the crumbling ground down the side of the incline of this hill. I try grabbing for anything as the rocks and dirt scrape by my skin, everything moving quickly as I come to another steep looking cliff. My stomach drops as I can see the severity of a fall from this height. I release a scream as I feel the air under me as I fall aimlessly over the edge, my hair tangled and everything on me covered in dirt and blood. I brace myself for the impact, praying to whatever god will listen before my head whips back into nothing.

-

"Hm." A red haired man releases a nonchalant noise as he watches the girl fighting off the two men trying desperately to grab her in front of him. The men's movements are staggered, hinting that they're not sober and the pink haired woman seems to be somewhat impaired herself. She's strong but isn't moving as fluidly as she probably should be.

He should continue on but hearing the vulgar words being yelled, his interest was peaked to find out what exactly was happening. Normally Sasori doesn't involve himself in anything that's not directly related to himself, but watching two men get their asses handed to them by a petite pink haired woman was quite the spectacle. His honey eyes wash over her figure as she fights, throwing painful punches and kicks to her two opponents. Her skin is a beautiful pale with hints of pink across her lean body, curved in the right spots with a navy strapless knee length dress adorning her features. Her long pink hair is tied back in a bun as she continues landing hits on the men desperately trying to hold their own against her. It was almost an angelic scene, watching this unexpected woman fighting under the stars.

He barely raises an eyebrow as she suddenly punches the earth causing everything around her to crumble, only partially to her favor as she suddenly goes tumbling backwards.

He reacts, not quickly but simply curious if she just caused her own death. He watches from the edge as she tumbles down towards a larger cliff, her face shows fear as she realizes her current direction. He pauses briefly before making his mind up and jumping down to the still intact ground before throwing his hand out, blue glowing strings flow from his fingers towards the free falling girl. They almost act as a cushion only throwing her head back roughly as she dangles in the air a few yards from the ground. He slowly uses his control to bring her limp body back up to the field she was fighting in, setting her down on the ground while looking over her.

He almost recognizes her face, pale pink strands laying around her head as her skin is caked with dirt and blood from the fight. Her long legs are scraped up with different spots bleeding, the strings on her sandals wound up her calves looking like they're done for. She looks serene as she breathes lightly, the force of her head going back probably knocking her out.

"Interesting." He says before making his mind up and picking the girl up.

-

My fucking head.. I obviously did way too much drinking.

I groan as a throw my hand to my face before starting to open my eyes. Not my room.

I feel panic run through me before remembering exactly what happened last night. My stomach falls again as the feeling of free falling enters my now alert brain.

I quickly sit up and try to figure out where I am, only to see I'm laying in a small dark bed. There's a window to my right but the curtains are drawn causing barely any light through, across from the bed is a dresser with a door to the left and then another door on the left wall. There's some sort of writing desk against the wall beside the window with all sorts of.. Wooden puppets? What the fuck?

I slowly look down and realize my skin is clean and I'm in some sort of large shirt with shorts on. My hair falls in my face as I turn to see if there's anyone in this room.

"Hello?" I call out meekly before seeing the door on the left open and a red haired..

"Sasori." I breathe out, my face going to shock at the man I thought was dead.

"Yes." He responds nonchalantly before tossing some sort of protein bar at me.

"Eat." He adds before going to sit at the desk.

"You're supposed to be dead." I say, my brain flashing back to the fight against him from years ago.

"Yes. I was, now here I am." He says, turning slightly and glancing at me with amber eyes before going back to his work.

"Why am I here?" I ask finally, looking at the bar in my hands but not letting him out of my peripheral.

"You fell and I found you." He responds in short statements almost making my blood boil.

"But why am I here?" I ask again, feeling everything trying to crash down on me only for my body to turn it into anger.

"I brought you back." He says shortly again, this time not bothering to turn.

"No need to be so angry." He adds causing me to chuck the protein bar at his head, successfully bouncing off it with a thunk.

"Why did you bring me back here and not to my village."

"This was closer. Why are you asking so many stupid questions?" He says as he finally looks at me, his beautiful eyes scanning me. He definitely looks human this time, leaving my mind reeling at how that's even possible.

"Ah! They're not stupid! I just woke up in some weird room and you walk in in a human body, although I'm pretty sure you were dead the last time I saw you." I ramble on as I try to figure out what the fuck is happening.

"Hm, the young are so naive." He says simply as he turns completely towards me. He's in civilian clothes, with a black t shirt and black joggers making him look less like the evil I remember him as.

"I'm not that young. And I'm definitely not naive." I snap, getting tired of this game already.

"You were dead. I know you were. I can still see it in my head! It happened." I yell out, glaring at the man smirking before me.

"Miss me?" He says plainly, only his eyes giving any kid of emotion. Like he enjoys prodding at a dangerous animal. Not that I consider myself that, but he doesn't need to know that.

"Wha-! No!" I almost fumble as my glare intensifies, my fists turning white at how hard I'm digging my nails into my hand.

"Little girls, always lying to adults." He says only smirking more as I huff out angrily.

"I want to go home." I snap before trying to stand only to feel my leg shoot pain up my body.

"Fuck." I grumble as I grip the side of the bed, hoisting myself back onto the edge.

"You broke your leg in your tumble. Once it's healed you're free to go."

-

He watches as she fumbles herself back onto the bed, her left leg swollen and purple midway down her calf. Her emerald eyes glaring down at her torn up skin before looking back at him.

"People will come looking for me." She seethes out, trying to use her chakra to take off some of the edge.

"As expected." He says, still looking over her figure on his bed.

He can't say she hasn't haunted his mind on occasion, the pink haired woman who defeated him with pure strength and chakra control. Her bright green eyes appearing in what few dreams he had over the years, a woman who had the strength to beat him. She peaked his interest, nothing more. At least that's what he told himself as his eyes glossed over her beautiful features.

"Are you always so dormant." She grumbles as she hikes her wounded leg back onto the sheets.

"Are you always so combative?"

"When I'm met with someone who I watched die yes! When I wake up in some weird place with no idea what's going on, yes!"

"Hey puppet freak! What's with all the fucking yelling?!" Someone interrupts from outside of the large wooden door before it swings in and a tall silver haired man with a black robe on stares inside.

"Well fucking well, about time you fucked someone!" The silver haired man chuckles loudly as he leans on the doorframe, his violet eyes roaming over the pinkette hungrily. Sakura stares back briefly in shock at Hidan, another horrifying member of the Akatsuki standing in the doorway less than ten feet from her.

"As if I would 'fuck' her." Sasori almost grumbles out at the foul mouthed intruder.

"Hey! You'd be so lucky." Sakura yells out, offended at the statement like she wasn't something to be desired. She tosses her long hair over her shoulder before looking back at the man in the doorway.

"If that's the case I can gladly escort you to my room for a.. Fun time with the best." He smirks back, something between playful and serious tugging on his lips.

"Like I said, you'd be so lucky." She counters, green eyes rolling at his look. She had to admit he wasn't bad to look at, the black robe open slightly and showing a well sculpted chest with a large necklace over hanging in the V made from the robe. But flirting with these men? Not on the top of her wants list of the day.

"I bet I would. How'd you get this hot bitch?" He says as he looks over to the redhead trying to concentrate on his work.

"Found her. She'll be leaving soon." He responds vaguely, secretly hoping the Jashin worshiper would just go back to wherever he crawled from.

"Why would you bring her back like a lost dog? Fucking weirdo."

"You know I'm sitting right here." The pinkette grumbles, obviously not being entertained by the conversation.

"Trust me babe, my eyes haven't left that hot body." The silver haired man grins sinisterly at her as she almost gapes at him. Her pride causing her to only scoff at his remark before glancing away.

"Hidan, don't you have cult things to do? Instead of standing in my doorway like the idiot you are." Sasori says, growing tired of the banter between the two behind him.

"Always a prissy princess aren't you? Yeah I've got better things to do than waste my time talking to a puppet. See ya babe." He says before winking and walking away, leaving the door open to the hallway.

Sakura's thoughts briefly have her debating running, but what would that get her with trained assassins around every corner. Not to mention her busted leg, that she could maybe take two steps on before falling to the floor.

"I wouldn't recommend it, it's late so most of the others will be up and roaming. Not all of them knowing you're supposed to be here." Sasori says, almost reading her mind as she looked out the open door.

"I will have to leave eventually, and what do you mean not all of them know I'm here?" She quips, not enjoying the vague responses from him.

"I haven't gotten around to letting my business out. It's a personal choice." He responds briefly as his hands work diligently on the paper in front of him.

"What are you doing?" She asks, not understanding anything in this odd situation. Why would he bring her back here? And then tell her she can't leave? Is this a kidnapping to gain something from Konoha?

"And what are you trying to gain from keeping me here? You could easily just dump me outside the gates and leave with no problem. So why keep my here?" She adds after mulling over her now racing thoughts.

"There's nothing to gain. I was simply saving someone who was strong enough to beat me. I give respect to those who can do that." He responds back, not giving any kind of emotion towards the conversation.

"Hey Sasori, oh.. who is this, yeah?" A tall lean figure says from the doorway, nearly walking into the room.

"Why do you all walk in unannounced like this room belongs to you." Sasori snaps quickly as he turns to glare at the blonde man.

"Hey! You're that girl!" The blonde suddenly shouts, pointing at her with a dark look on his face.

"Yes I'm well aware I'm female." Sakura grumbles, her head beginning to pound from all of the noise and stress of the situation she found herself in.

"No you're the one who killed Sasori! I swore I'd kill you!" Deidara says as he begins to stalk into the room, trying to glare a hole through her.

"Deidara." Sasori says, his hands lifting slightly as blue strands hold the raging man in place.

"What are you doing?! She killed you! Why isn't she dead yet, yeah?!" He yells, trying fruitlessly to pull his wrists free. Sakura's emerald eyes gloss over the situation, clearly uninterested in this commotion and would almost rather be fighting and leaving than dealing with all of the Akatsuki coming through like a parade.

"Leave. I don't have to explain anything to you." Sasori says as Deidara is suddenly tossed back into the hallway with his back hitting the far wall, causing his blue eyes to glare at the redhead.

"I'm telling Pein, yeah!" He yells before scrambling up onto his feet and storming away.

"Alright... Well obviously I should uh be on my way. I'd rather not have to fight the whole Akatsuki organization. So I-"

"Our leader already knows you're here, he approved keeping you here until you are healed. You will leave once you can walk, no longer than that." The red head says as he looks over her face, her eyes are stuck on the doorway and her hands are fiddling with the hem of her shirt.. Well his shirt.

He would never admit it to anyone, but he wasn't opposed to seeing this fierce woman in his clothes or on his bed for that matter. She had changed a lot over the years, her then short hair was now loosely hanging around her slim waist. Her body was filled out but toned and her face was almost perfect, the only imperfection was a small bruise on her lip from her fight with the two men the night before.

"You're creeping me out. Why are you staring at me." The pinkette suddenly asks, her green eyes now watching him as he freezes in his spot at being caught looking at her so intently.

"You would make a glorious puppet." He says simply before standing and walking closer to her spot on the bed.

"And that's not creepy at all. Look, Sasori, I appreciate you saving me from that cliff but I-"

"Stop talking."

"Excuse me? What?" She stammers, her fists clenching in her lap as he gets closer until she can almost feel his legs ghosting over her right leg hanging off of the bed.

She is frozen in any movement as his right hand reaches out and lightly touches her split lip, pulling back with blood on his finger. She blinks quickly before reaching up and healing the now bleeding cut, her eyes never leaving his as he stares at her.

"You need to eat. I'll be back." He responds, quickly turning away and walking out of the door.

Her eyes watch the man walking away from her, her mind reeling at what the fuck is going on and why she felt electricity when he touched her lip.
