What if the Paw Patrol was a religious cult, a crazy cult that took the Lord's words into their own hands, taking it into a brutal turn.

"Adventure Bay, a quiet beautiful town, friendly people and all that, grew up there myself, then these people show up, persuading the townsfolk that they were sent by God to purge the weak, I mean how fucking crazy is that shit? And of course the townsfolk believed in them."

"No one took this group seriously, no one. They were different. Religious, militari—they were basically a goddamn cult."

"No one can come to help us, we're on our own here! Government can't do shit!"

"I couldn't believe how much that town changed."

~~~~~~~~
"We will purge these lost and weak souls whether they want to be purged or not, it is ultimately the lord's choice and the chosen few can see his choice! The lord also knows who is with us...and who is against us."
A man was grabbed from one of the pews and was brought to The Prophet, who had his arms raised.
"Please, please don't do this." The man begged.
"I shall make you see the truth, God's truth." The Prophet placed his hands on the mans face and proceeded to gouge his eyes out, killing the man almost instantly.
~~~~~~~~~

"Hey Pedro, stop watching that shit, we're almost there." One of the officers assured.

"Alright we're heading into Adventure Bay, remember the plan, we go in and cuff that crazy son of a bitch." The sheriff advised.

"You think it's going to be that easy?" One of the crew mates shouted.

"No, but here's hoping it will." The sheriff hoped. "We've had run-ins with these folk before, it never really gone our way."

"What happened?" One of the crew mates asked.

"Another time. Austin, open a call with dispatch." The sheriff asked.

"10-4" Austin replied.

"McGill to dispatch over?"

"Go ahead sheriff."

"We're approaching the church, over?"

"Roger, sheriff. You're still planning to go through with this? Over?"

"Yes, unfortunately."

"Well those crazy fucks are lucky I'm not there, you get into trouble, just let me know. Over?"

"10-4 Over and out."

"Maybe we should've brought Sweetie with us instead of this new guy Pedro, these people wouldn't fuck with her." Austin suggested to the co-pilot who shrugged it off.

"Austin..." The co-pilot sighed.

"You know these people started off harmless enough a few years back but now they are armed to the teeth. They're looking for a fight." The sheriff explained as one of the crew mates looked at him.

"Are you scared sheriff?"

"We're here, church is just below." Austin advised to everyone on board.

The crew looked out and viewed the church, seeing small bons of fire nearby.

"Oh my lord..."

"This is a bad idea."

"We shouldn't be doing this." Austin said as he got the helicopter close to the ground.

"Set her down." The sheriff ordered as nothing happened. "Austin!"

"Roger that." Austin got the helicopter on the ground.

The helicopter reached the ground and the crew had a moment to think about what they were going to do.

"Dispatch, you still there?" The sheriff asked.

"Yeah, go ahead sheriff."

"If you don't hear from us in fifteen minutes, send in everyone, call the goddamn national guard if you have to, over?" The sheriff advised.

"Yes sir, sheriff, I'll be praying for you."

Everyone took off their headsets as the helicopter touched the ground.

"Now listen up, three rules, stick close, keep your guns in your holsters and let me do the talking, got it?" Sheriff McGill asked.

"Got it." One of the crew mates answered.

"Pedro?" The sheriff questioned.

"Yeah, stick close, guns holstered, and let you do the talking. Got it." Pedro replied.

"Alright everyone, stay sharp. Let's go!" The sheriff ordered as three of the crew mates stepped out of the helicopter to follow the sheriff, leaving the pilot alone.

"They'll be in the church, stick close." The sheriff said as he lead the team. "Eyes open, these folk get spooked easily."

"Pedro, on me." The co-pilot advised

"What're they doing here?" One of the supporters asked out loud.

"Be calm, stay calm everyone, just go about your business, this doesn't concern you." Sheriff McGill calmed.

"Sheriff, I don't like this." The co-pilot admitted.

"Everything's fine Emma, everything's just fine." McGill assured.

"Jesus Christ, we're wearing badges aren't we?" The other crew mate asked.

"Yeah but they don't respect that much out here." Emma added.

"They'll respect a nine millimeter."

"Not every problem can be handled with a bullet Anthony." The sheriff assured once again.

The team finally made it to the church, getting scolded by the followers who were outside.

As Anthony was about to open the church door, he was stopped by Sheriff McGill.

"Woah, we do this, we do it my way, quietly, calmly." The sheriff ordered.

"Fine." The officer agreed.

"Emma, on the door, watch our backs, don't let any of these people get in. Pedro, on me. And you? Just...try not to do anything stupid." The sheriff said towards Anthony.

"Relax sheriff, everything's gonna work out." The officer assured.

As the two opened the door, they noticed everyone singing in a chorus, almost finished with their rendition of Amazing Grace. The trio slowly made their way towards the Prophet, hearing the crazy leader's so called "truths"

"You feel it don't you? Creeping towards us? There will be a reckoning. That is why we started this, that is why God has gifted us, because we know what happens next. They will come and they will try to take from us, everything we've worked for, including our faith and our freedom. We will not let them..."

The trio were now closer to the Prophet, as Officer Anthony wanted to try something, Sheriff McGill prevented him from doing so, letting the Prophet continue his speech.

"...we will not their greed or their morality, or their depravity hurt us anymore!"

"Sheriff..."

"Now hold on..."

"Fuck this. Ryder Miller! I have a warrant issued for your arrest, on the suspicion of kidnapping and intent to harm. Now I want you to step forward and keep your hands where I can see 'em." Officer Anthony ordered.

"By all means, take me away. But know this, child...you are taking the future away...and these people will not stand for it...it's better for all of us if you just turn back."

"I'll take my chances, Pedro, cuff this son of a bitch." Anthony ordered.

As Pedro walked up to the Prophet, two of his men stepped in front, preventing him from stepping forward.

"You aren't taking him away." The cultist threatened as he raised his gun.

"Woah! Woah! Easy!" Sheriff McGill tried calming the situation.

"Chase, Marshall, it is alright, God will make sure these savages won't take me."

The two stepped out of the way.

"Pedro, cuff this son of a bitch." Anthony ordered.

"God will not let you take me..."

Pedro cuffed Ryder and they all began to make their way outside and regroup with Alison.

"Sometimes the best thing to do is to walk away..."

"We got to get the fuck out of here!" Allison quickly advised as the guard dogs around the church started barking and the team was getting eyes by almost everyone around.

"Stay on the path, Pedro." The sheriff advised as he motioned for Anthony to take point.

"Where are they taking the Prophet?"

"They can't take him!"

The team walked passed the cultists who were getting in their way and becoming more aggressive to them.

"Get back!" Anthony yelled out as he pushed them to the ground.

The team was almost at the helicopter, until the cultists started throwing things at them.

"Get back!" Anthony yelled out again as he shot in the air. "Get the fuck back!"

"Come on! Come on!" Emma motioned as the team got into the helicopter.

The cultists started surrounding the helicopter, grabbing Pedro and Anthony, trying to get them out. Pedro quickly got one of them off as Anthony shot the other with his pistol.

"Get us the fuck out of here!" Anthony yelled out.

"Austin, take off!" Sheriff McGill ordered.

One of the cultists got on the windshield of the helicopter as it began to take off, soon after, the cultists jumped into the blades and caused the helicopter to start losing control.

"Shit! Everyone hang on! We're going down!" Austin yelled out.

The helicopter spun out of control as the team held on for their life.

~~~~~~~~
Pedro woke up in a daze, somehow miraculously surviving the helicopter crash, surprisingly everyone did, but from that point, they would've wished that they have died in that crashed.
Pedro saw the headset that the sheriff was talking to Sweetie on.
"Hello? Please, anyone respond."
As Pedro was about to grab the headset and respond, Ryder stopped him from doing so.
"I told you, God isn't going to let you take me."
"Someone please respond!"
"Dispatch, everything is fine, everything is going to be okay."
"Oh thank the lord, praise be with you Prophet."
Ryder dropped the headset and looked at Pedro.
"No one is coming to save you."
Ryder crawled out of the wreckage as other cultists gathered around.
"GOD WILL NOT LET YOU TAKE ME! HE WILL ENJOY WATCHING THE ONES WHO TRIED TO TAKE ME SUFFER!" Ryder ordered for Chase and Marshall to grab the survivors.
"Shit! We gotta go! Come on!" Sheriff McGill yelled out as he got free.
"Fuck! Get off me! Let me go!" Emma cried out as she was getting dragged out.
Pedro tried helping her but couldn't, Austin was soon dragged out but Anthony and Pedro got out from the other side as the helicopter's fire began to spread even more.
The remaining trio ran out into the woods, leaving the cultists and their own teammates behind.
Pedro slid down a small hill and saw a campfire, he grabbed a nearby weapon and got away.
After some time in the wilderness, Anthony called him.
"Pedro? Pedro, you still alive?" Anthony asked.
"Yeah, where the fuck are you?" Pedro responded.
"In a trailer, near the bridge that leads out of here, find it and we'll discuss a plan there." Anthony ordered.
"Got it." Pedro acknowledged as he kept moving through the wilderness.
Pedro soon found the trailer and got inside, getting a gun pointed at his face in the process.
"Oh shit, almost shot you there, fuck. Have you seen the sheriff?" Anthony asked.
"No, I'm not sure if he got out." Pedro replied.
"Son of a bitch is tough, he should be fine. Okay here's the plan, we grab that truck outside, get the national guard and kill every single one of these psycho freaks!" Anthony explained.
"Sounds good to me, let's go." Pedro agreed.
"Alright, shit is gonna get crazy, make sure to cover us or we're both dead." Anthony handed Pedro a rifle and lead the way to the truck.
As Anthony opened the door, a gunshot breezed past him and Pedro, the two scurried in the truck and drove out to the bridge.
Pedro leaned out the window and started shooting at the cultists who were chasing them, shooting out one of the tires and causing them to crash.
"Nice shooting! We're almost there, just a little longer!" Anthony pressed down on the pedal.
As the two were on the bridge, they began to get rammed by a truck, which caused them to steer off the bridge and into the water.
Pedro swam to shore, away from the bridge and heard Anthony in the distance.
"Find the other one! He couldn't have gotten far! The Prophet wants him found! Take this one to Chase, he'll show him the ways."
"Get the fuck off me, I'm a goddamn police officer!"
Pedro soon drifted out of consciousness.
~~~~~~~~

Pedro woke up handcuffed to a pipe and a man standing over him.

He examined the mysterious figure, slicked back hair, light brown skin tone and an eye patch, along with a sidearm in his hand.

"Don't freak out kid, I saved you." The man said as he took another puff from his cigar.

"Who the hell are you?" Pedro asked.

"I could be asking you the same thing, from the looks of it, you might be the guy we need to help us out." The man replied.

"Help who? Who are you guys?"

The man leaned down and was face to face with Pedro.

"The Resistance."
