2010 METROPOLIS

Bone walked on the sidewalk of Metropolis, and it was quite peaceful but that also meant it was extremally boring enough, so it actually caused Bone to yawn. He was wearing blue jeans and a button-up something you would expect a small-town country boy to wear. It has been about a year since Bone arrived on this version of earth and it has been an experience, to say the least. Bone had been going to these earth schools across Metropolis and to say the least, it's been quite an adventure. Having spent time in Smallville the high school there didn't have a lot of opportunities for him to fully show his intelligence since he had to study with Gohan before he even thought about different worlds like this. That and Superman wasn't comfortable with the fact Bone took challenges of fight seriously. He had left a few kids back in Smallville with some serious black eyes which were primarily their fault, but it also convinced Clark Bone should be moved closer to him for safety reasons in case Bone was to snap which seemed to be very prevalent since his control over his emotions was lackluster.

Bone was currently in the middle of skipping his pre-calculus class since it was something he was already taught back home whenever he had a year-long stint with Goku's family. The very recalling of this memory made Bone shudder at how intense his studying was and how unnecessary it felt to him. For the young Saiyan he just wanted to be stronger it didn't matter to him if he could do rocket science which was something he had to learn when he stayed with Goku and Chi-Chi because that's something completely normal for people to know in their everyday lives.

While he was on his walk that's when he heard a scream, and he turned his head 180 degrees to see a group of thugs running out of a jewelry store. Bone had a smile cross his face and he dipped into an alleyway from there he waited for a split second before propelling himself at the thieves. Bone would place his knee into the one carrying the largest bag, next came the one that had the most dangerous weapon which seemed to be a laser gun, "How are criminals getting their hands on these items?" He asked himself. The last two criminals stood still as they just saw two of their most important roommates get dropped like a sack of potatoes. The criminals simply surrendered to their new opponent. As the dust around Bone cleared, he had changed into a completely different outfit. He had adopted a suit with a completely white body with a blue outline to the entire outfit and over his face was a red masquerade mask and on his back a half cape that was a rubbery white. Quite honestly, he didn't like wearing the uniform, but it did its job in concealing who he was. What aggravated him though was the fact, that everyone, on this planet with the exception of Superman was so weak the only real opponent he liked fighting was Parasite and that only happened every blue moon.

Bone sighed as the police rushed past him and an officer stopped next to him, "You know Supes told us if we caught you outside of school again, we are supposed to escort you back and tell him." The officer said looking at Bone while he lowered his sunglasses. "Please don't tell him Mr. Martinez I was just out for a walk and my last class was canceled I don't need to be any longer to just sit in a study hall." He said with a small whine which caused the officer to laugh.

"Look kid I'll tell you this we won't tell Supes if you promise to make sure you stop leaving potholes in the ground whenever you land." Officer Martinez said looking at the spot where Bone had landed on the ground. He had known this kid for a while now, but he never gave him a superhero name, so people just started calling him Superboy or something. Honestly, Officer Martinez never felt that name should apply to him because Bone was just different from Superman.

As the two chatted Superman landed after a minute into the conversation with Bone and the officer, "Finally I found you. Why weren't you at school? You know what don't answer that we need to get going. At this rate, the others will beat us to the hall." Superman said.

Bone nodded, "Thanks for talking with me Officer Martinez, I hope you have a good day!" Bone said as he started to take off into the sky. As Bone flew through the air, "They still think I am a Kryptonian... I wonder if they will learn otherwise." He said aloud next to Superman. Superman looked at Bone and he saw his furrowed brow, "Look Bone I understand you want people to know who you are, but this world is so much different from yours. Maybe someday the truth will come out but for right now it is best not to dwell on it. Today is the day after all now come one at this pace, we will be the last ones there." Superman said and like that both of the aliens boosted past the speed of sound.

LATER THAT DAY

Bone and Superman arrived in front of the Hall of Justice. Bone recognized a few of the sidekicks one of them being Robin and the other being Kid Flash. He knew them personally. The other two however were people he only ever met those being Aqualad and Speedy. He heard of both of them, and he was excited to work with them in the future.

As Bone landed Robin went to give him a handshake and Kid Flash gave Bone a fist bump the other two simply introduced themselves. When it was time all of the sidekicks walked to the steps and gave their little waves till they went inside and were led to a room that looked a bit like a library. Bone was a bit absent-minded at the moment as he looked at the people through the glass that's when he heard Speedy start to shout, "I thought you trusted us!" He shouted.

Bone was surprised as Speedy started shouting and he was ready to put him on the ground if need be. It didn't take too long for Speedy to throw out his hat and storm off.

"Well, that happened." Bone said as he saw the door close behind Speedy.

Before Batman could get another sentence off the computer screen turned on with an image of Wonder Woman, "Wonder Woman to Batman there is a building fire at Cadmus."

"Interesting I've been investigating them for a while," Batman stated as he walked to the computer and as he did so Zatara appeared.

"All league members needed Wotan is trying to create an ice storm that covers the country," Zatara said.

Batman would look at Wonder Woman, "It's a small building fire it can wait." She stated.

Batman nodded and turned to the young heroes, "Do not interfere. We will be back."

As they left Bone saw Robin rush to the computer and Bone gave a small smile, "Well I guess now is the time we actually break the rules?" He asked rhetorically. Bone had crossed his arms as robin nodded and pulled up the information to the Cadmus facility, "Whelp let's be off like a herd of turtles."

Cadmus facility

As the others rescued the two scientists from the burning building Bone made an entry into the building from the roof. He wasn't the stealthiest individual but he made it just in time to see a creature of sorts walk into an elevator and close it. Bone narrowed his eyes as he saw the creature. The ki felt off somehow and when he was about to approach the others were right behind him, "So you guys thinking what I'm thinking?" Bone asked as he opened the elevator door to the shaft.

As everyone else nodded Bone jumped down the shaft only using his power to fly as a way to soften his landing and not make a ruckus. He was still in a covert mode so that meant he couldn't be overly himself. As he landed Bone saw the one thing he didn't expect. The whole facility has this artificial ki to it. The walls had it so did the other creatures and people but the strongest wasn't even awake he was dormant. That made Bone lift his head, "Guys I'm going to move on ahead I'm getting a strange feeling." Bone stated.

The others nodded as Bone would begin to make his way to the energy source. He was doing what he could to avoid other energy sources eventually leading him to a room with a pod that had KR written on the pod.
