In a park, where young kids can laugh and have fun, was a purple-haired girl with jacks sticking out of her ears. Thanks to her quirk, she was a prime target of being bullied.

"What the hell is this? You look like a long-eared freak!"

"Bet you can work on a circus with that disability!"

"You are so creepy looking!"

"I bet your parents are ashamed of you!"

"Yeah, how can you ever become a hero with that lame quirk!"

With all of that, she cried while the three bullies just laughed at her. It was supposed to be a fun place to be around, but apparently, life can never go as you want it to go.

As the bullies laughed at the crying purple-haired girl, someone began to scream at them with anger.

"Hey! Cut it out!"

The bullies then looked at a green-haired kid running towards them with anger in his step.

"Huh?"

"Who are you?"

As the green-haired boy was in front of the bullies, protecting the crying girl, he told them his name with his chest full of confidence, "I'm Izuku Midoriya! The next No. 1 Hero, believe it!"

"The next No.1 Hero?"

"Are you stupid?"

Izuku then looked at them with a fierce stare, "Get ready! Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Izuku used both his index and middle finger, making a cross, summing a puff of smoke in front of the boys. They looked scared of what's happening, but what they saw was a rat-size copy of Izuku.

When the bullies saw his weak attempt at a warning, they laughed at him. They laughed at the weak Izuku and his power. Without hesitation, the bullies then proceed to kick Izuku, knocking him out in the process.

As Izuku got knocked out, they found a Limited Edition: All Might figuring. The bullies smiled and broke the figure in half, dropping it beside Izuku and leaving.

When Izuku woke up, he immediately got up, preparing to fight the bullies, "Hold it, hold it! This time, I'll do a super-duper Jutsu and-?" Izuku looked around and saw no bully insight. All he did see was the girl who he saved.

"Are you okay?" She asked.

"It's nothing..." The boy replied while rubbing his bruised cheek.

"You're figuring... Those boys..." She tried to give it back to him, but he refused the offer. If she could read minds, she bet he would blame her for being weak. "I'm sorry."

"Don't worry." He smiled.

He then started walking to his home, knowing that the girl she saved was okay. Before he left, the girl wanted to say something to him.

"U-Um... Thank you very much." The girl bowed.

Izuku saw her then smiled brightly. He smiled so brightly; he can even light up a dark room, "See you later!"

When Izuku leaves, the purple-haired girl then holds onto the figure towards her heart. Although she didn't know it yet, she would soon realize the feeling she will have soon enough.

In a city full of people with unique features and quirks, a fifteen-year-old Izuku had red paint, drawing over billboards of her products. He would paint words like 'FOOLS' or 'IDIOTS'. He kept on painting billboard to billboard, ignoring the yells from people on the streets.

"Enough with the stupid prank!"

"We're sick of it! Grow the heck up!"

"You are dead when they catch you! You know that?"

"Hey! That's MY billboard!"

With the many eyes looking at him, Izuku turned towards the people on the street, then smiled and began to scream out at the top of his lungs, "Looooosers! Wanna-be's! You don't have what it takes to do something this low! I rule, and you drool!"

With that declaration, people began to chew out Izuku for his behavior, "How dare you?! Who do you think you are?!"

Izuku turned around, continuing his magnum opus, painting and not caring about the people on the ground. He wasn't scared at all, he had high terrain, and no one looked like they were going to chase him.

"What do you think you're doing, you idiot?" Izuku heard the voice and knew who it was. He looked up on top of the billboard and saw the No. 2 Hero: The Red Flash.

"O-Oh... Hey, dad..."

Izuku's dad, Hisashi Midoriya, was looming over him with a stern look and an irritated tone, "I thought you were at school, not vandalizing billboards for fun. I want to see your mess all cleaned up, or you will be grounded till you can make a proper Shadow Clone! Do I make myself clear?"

Izuku gulped in fear. Knowing his dad, he is dead serious. Either out of desperation or panic, he threw a smoke bomb and tried to flee the scene. He kept on jumping from building to building, not looking back.

He stopped for a moment, catching his breath, knowing that he got away, "Are you done yet?" Or so it seems. Izuku turned around, seeing his dad appear out of nowhere like a magician.

"Are you done, Izuku?" His father asked in a tired tone.

Izuku stood there, then thought of a final assault, "I got one last Jutsu even more powerful than the Shadow Clone!" This statement made Hisashi curious about his son's newfound power, "Transform!"

A perverted person would have bled to death for the sheer beauty of a girl, but in Hisashi's case, he was disappointed in the sheer waste of talent his son put on.

Izuku transformed back to his original self, with a smile on his face, "Ha Ha Ha Ha! I call this one the Sexy Transformation Jutsu!" Izuku kept on laughing at his perfect Jutsu, but Hisashi stopped him by hitting him in the head.

"How big of a fool are you? *sigh* Here, hurry up and clean your mess."

A few minutes have passed, and Izuku just kept on scrubbing the paint off, all the while Hisashi was watching over him.

"You don't leave here until every drop of paint is gone!" Hisashi said.

"So? At least you're here! That's all that matters, right?" Izuku angrily said. He kept on scrubbing harder and with anger. His father was usually busy coming home to meet Izuku. Izuku didn't mind that he came late, he gets it, but Izuku hates that Hisashi is always too tired to acknowledge him, especially since he doesn't tell him what happens to Izuku's mother.

Hisashi saw Izuku's expression and began to sigh deeply, "Izuku..."

"Now what?" Izuku asked.

"Well... Once you're through here. I'll buy you a bowl of ramen."

Hisashi saw Izuku one more time and saw a bright smile.

"Yeah, baby! Talk about motivation!"

In Ichiraku Ramen, both father and son were eating some Miso Ramen. Ichiraku was Izuku's favorite place since it was usually a spot to celebrate Izuku's many accomplishments.

"Izuku..." Hisashi called out.

"Hmm?" Izuku said with ramen on his face.

"Why, of all things, did you choose to paint over the billboards of heroes? I mean, you do want to become a hero, don't you?"

"Of course! To become a hero, you have to have a hero license to become a full-fledged hero. If you are the best of the best, then you become the No. 1 Hero."

"Okay, then... Why did you deface the billboards of other heroes!"

"Because when those aren't heroes! They only care about money, but I don't want that! I want to become the No. 1 Hero to save people, telling them that it's okay because I am here to save the day!" The statement intrigues Hisashi. He had the personality of his mother, after all. "By the way, dad, I need a favor..."

"Another bowl of ramen?" Hisashi said.

"Uhhh... Tomorrow, can I go work with you until I become the No. 1 Hero?!"

"Ha! On a school day? No! No way! Not happening!"

"Oh, come on!"

"You think you can work, especially when you can make a lousy clone!"

"Hey! Now I want more ramen!"

--The Next Day--

Izuku finally made it to school, looking at his teacher, who is speaking about their life choices for the future.

"C'mon, class! You're middle school seniors! It's time you started thinking seriously about your future! I'll be handing out printouts on your desired life-course!" He then laughed, throwing the printout papers in the air, "You all want to be heroes, don't you?"

With that, the entire class began to erupt with excitement. The teacher saw the class's quirks, all except two boys who didn't care at all.

"Yes, yes, your quirks are all wonderful! But it's against the rules to use them during school!" Although the teacher didn't grab the attention of the entire class, someone did.

"Teach, don't lump me in with everybody else!" Everyone looked at the spiky blonde-haired boy who disrespected everyone, "You can't compare me to these losers' weak-ass quirks! Mine's a whole other ballgame! Come on, man." Everyone began booing at the boy known as Katsuki Bakugou, another loud-mouth boy who is sometimes mistaken as Izuku, "Why are you booing me? I'm right."

Everyone began to rabble at Katsuki, who just had a cocky smile. The class kept on bewildering the explosive blonde until they heard their teacher, "Oh yeah, I'd forgotten... Bakugou's shooting for U.A. High, isn't he?"

Everyone then whispered at this revelation. U.A. Highschool is a prestigious school that only allows the best of the best. Even the No.1 Hero: All Might was the top student at the school. They heard that only a tiny portion of people at the entrance exams got into the school. They would even kick you out if you don't use your quirk to the fullest.

Katsuki jumped on his desk, screaming at everyone who was looking at him, "You done running your mouths, peons!? I got an A on the mock test! And I'm the only one at this school who's got a chance! I'm going to surpass even that 'All Might' bastard as a top hero!"

"Now that you mention it, didn't Midoriya want to go to U.A. as well?" Everyone's head turned towards Izuku and began to laugh at him.

"Izuku? There's no way?"

"That knucklehead! I bet his dad paid U.A. to let him in!"

"Hey! I will become the No.1 Hero! And when I do, you all will respect me!" Izuku screamed.

That sentence made Katsuki scowl in anger, "Eat shit! There is no way you can surpass me! Especially when your quirk is fully useless!"

"Oh yeah! Then I challenge you to a fight after school! I will show you my power!"

"Bring it on!"

--After School--

Outside of the school, Izuku and Katsuki were staring off at one another, waiting for one of Bakugou's cronies to start the match, "Since both of you look ready to fight, then go!"

Without hesitation, Katsuki right punched Izuku, who went flying back, hit the floor, "Dammit! That hurt!"

Izuku got up and began to block one of Katsuki's upcoming attacks, "Hurry up and fight, coward!"

Izuku was on the defensive, not doing anything since Katsuki never let him make a move. Izuku kept on blocking until he dodged a kick from Katsuki, which made him give a left hook on the spiky boy.

"I'm sick of you looking down on people! All you do is threaten people to do your bidding! That's not right!"

"And you should mind your damn business! You're starting to piss me off!"

Katsuki tried to do another right hook, but Izuku ducked and kicked Katsuki right at his jaw, "Predictable!" With Katsuki still recovering, he kept on punching him, not letting him fight back. He kept on bombarding the spiky blonde, making him angrier and angrier, "When I graduate at U.A. I will become the No. 1 Hero!

Izuku tried to hit him one more time, but Katsuki finally caught him, "If you want to become No. 1, huh? THEN YOU NEED TO BEAT ME FOR THAT SPOT!!"

With that, Katsuki began not to hold back his punches, making Izuku nearly bleeding. The only way he would stop was when his crony told him to stop. Katsuki looked at Izuku and paused, "To become No. 1, you need to be the best."

Katsuki got up and was about to leave, not before hearing a cry from Izuku, "You think you're the best because of your quirk! Then let me show you my power! Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Smoke appeared next to him. Twelve standard clones were appearing next to Izuku.

"You're right! You need to become strong to be No. 1! That's why I will never give up, no matter what gets in my way! I, Izuku Midoriya, will become the No. 1 Hero, no matter what!"

Katsuki smiled at Izuku, who finally has the power he desperately needed, "Then when we see each other at the Entrance Exams, we will see who is really on top!"

Dreams can become reality if you put some hard work into them. The tale of Izuku Midoriya, and his journey to becoming the No. 1 Hero, has begun.
