The U.A. Highschool Hero Course got created to give students everything they need to be pros. It's the toughest and the most popular hero course in the country, with 1 in 300 applications only getting accepted.

All Might, who magnanimously declined the people's choice award, the man with the most stopped crimes than any other hero, Endeavor, and the fastest hero in the world, The Red Flash, graduated from U.A. Highschool.

With Izuku finishing his training, he took a warm shower, packed his bags, and got on the train. With a forty-minute subway ride later, he would finally make a big step into his journey.

"ALRIGHT!!" Izuku screamed. Making students nearby look at him. 'This is it! I finished the written stuff of the exams, and now all I have left are the hero stuff! I am too excited.'

Before the young green-haired boy could think of anything else, a smack on the head caused him to snap back into reality. "If you keep standing there, people might think you are weird, Izuku." The purple-haired girl said.

"Sorry, Kyoka. I'm just too excited." Izuku grinned, causing Kyoka to have a pinch of blush. "Let's go and ace that test!" Izuku fist pumped in the air, with Kyoka doing the same, albeit not as excited as Izuku. The knuckleheaded teen took a big step, slipping from a hidden banana peel on the floor.

"Izuku!"

The green-haired boy was ready to feel pain, but what he expected was different. He opened his eyes to see he was floating in place, and next to him was a girl with short brown hair and squishy pink cheeks.

"Are you okay?" The savior of Izuku said. She gently placed him on the floor and clapped her hands together in delight, "It's my quirk. Sorry for stopping you, but it's a bad omen to trip and fall." The girl began to sigh, "This sure is nerve-wracking."

"Y-Yeah, you said it." Izuku smiled, scratching behind his head and blushing. Kyoka saw him and felt something in her heart. It felt like someone shot her, making her feel pain. She didn't know why, but she was not happy right now. "Huh?"

Kyoka dragged Izuku by the wrist, ignoring the girl and the looks of other students. "We're gonna be late if you keep talking." She didn't know it yet, but she was jealous.

"Huh. What a strange couple." The brown-haired girl said. Before she could take another step, she was hit in the shoulders by someone walking by, "Hey, watch where you're--"

"What did you say?" The person she was talking to was none other than Katsuki. He looked at the girl with a terrifying glare that would paralyze any human.

She felt scared for a moment, but with small confidence, she said, "Y-You better watch where you're going!" She stood her ground, knowing that she wouldn't back down.

Bakugou looked down at the girl, who had the confidence to talk to the wild beast. "Tch! Whatever." Bakugou walked inside the building, sparring the young girl.

"Man... That was way too scary..." She said, shaking her legs.

"Why did you drag me away like that!?" Izuku questioned Kyoka.

The punk rock girl looked at Izuku with a glare that made him shut up immediately. "If you weren't a dummy, I wouldn't have to drag you! Better yet, you're an idiot, but you are more than an idiot! You are the kings of idiots!" Kyoka kept rambling, ignoring the stares and whispers from the students around them.

"WELCOME TO TODAY'S LIVE PERFORMANCE!!" The hero, with a loud voice, Present Mic, screamed out. "EVERYBODY SAY "HEY"!!"

The room was silent. No one responded to the question about the yellow-haired hero. In the audience, Izuku saw his best friend covering her ears from the extremely loud hero. Thanks to her quirk, her hearing became sensitive to any sound.

"Excuse me, Present Mic!"

"YES, YOUNG LISTENER!"

"Can you lower your voice a bit! My friend's ears are sensitive because of her quirk!" Izuku said, causing Kyoka to blush a little.

"Eh, sure thing." Present Mic shrugged. He then turned his attention to the big screen behind him, "This is how the test will go, my listeners. You'll be experiencing ten-minute-long "Mock Cityscape Maneuvers"!! Bring along whatever you want! After this presentation, you'll head to your assigned testing location!!"

"That's so people in the same school won't help each other pass the exams," Kyoka whispered to Izuku. "I hope we have the same cityscape."

"I hope so too. I don't want you to fail." Izuku said, focusing on the paper.

"Y-Yeah." Kyoka blushed. "Either way. If we don't have the same cityscape, we would still pass no matter what." She said, fist-bumping Izuku.

The screen behind Present Mic showed shadowy figures shaped as beloved Mario characters, making an example of how to get points. "Each site is filled with three kinds of faux villains. Points get awarded for defeating each according to their respective difficulty levels. Use your quirks to disable these phony villains and earn points. That's your goal, listeners. Of course, playing antihero and attacking other examinees is prohibited."

"May I ask a question?" A student with square glasses said. "There appear to be fewer than four varieties of a faux villain on this handout." He pulled out the handout paper to show Present Mic. "Such a blatant error, if it is one, is highly unbecoming for U.A., Japan's top academy. We're all here today in the hopes of being model heroes. And, you, with the curly hair. You helping your friend with the jacks on her ears is heroic."

"Hey, thanks, man," Izuku said. "I hope you pass the exams."

"And you as well."

"Alright, alright. Examine 7111, nice catch. Thanks. But the fourth faux villain variety gets you zero points! He's more of an obstacle."

"So it's like a stage gimmick to be avoided. Thank you, sir. I apologize for the interruption." Examine 7111 said, bowing at a 45-degree angle.

"That's all from me. I'll leave my listeners with our school motto. The great hero Napoleon Bonaparte once said, "True heroism consists in being superior to the ills of life." Plus Ultra! Break a leg, everyone!!"

Izuku was in his designated Mock Cityscape Maneuvers. The cityscape looked massive and precisely like a typical city. The students looked at the cityscape in awe. Some were shocked at how U.A. had all the money to build such a faux city, while others either warm-up or sparkled a pose.

The green ninja teen wore his favorite green tracksuit and lucky goggles with excitement as a child in an arcade. For a moment, Izuku saw the crowd, all confident with their abilities, then saw a familiar face.

'I-It's her!' The girl Izuku was talking about was the brown short-haired girl that saved him from falling. 'We're at the same test site!' With no Kyoka around, due to not being in the same test, no one was able to stop him. 'I should hit my shots before it's too late!'

Before he could even approach her, someone stopped him in his tracks. "I wouldn't interfere with her if I were you." The same squared glasses student from early told him with a stern.

"Eh?" Izuku was a little angry. He could have gotten the girl's number if "Glasses" wasn't stopping him.

"She is doing some type of meditation method." Glasses said to Izuku. "If you talk to her now, you would interrupt her focus."

Izuku was confused. He saw the girl breathing in and out carefully and using her hands as fans to cool her down. "I guess you're right."

TAP* *TAP*

"Hello!?" Everyone looked at a tower, which must have had every teacher from U.A. High. "Since everybody seems ready, you all can begin!!"

The gates opened, causing everyone to run towards the cityscape. Izuku was a little ahead, seeing robots from 1 to 2 points. He saw an opening and made hand signs, "Wind Style: Air Bullets!" Izuku breathed and blew out bullets of air, hitting some robots and gaining points. "DIRECT HIT!!" Before he could celebrate further, one pointer faux robot ram out of a building, surprising Izuku. The thing was quick but very fragile. It locked in at Izuku, ready to fight. "Come at me, peace of junk!!"

Izuku ran at the robot, dodging its swing by jumping up in the air. He kicked the robot's head, causing it to break down efficiently. Izuku kept running, destroying all the robots he saw to smither. Time went on, eventually announcing: "Six minutes, two seconds remaining!"

The cityscape got filled with broken robotic parts on the streets. Some robots got slammed to the ground from either lack of gravity, kicking, or the air.

In the tower watching over the exams, screens were motoring all the student's progress. "Such a vast battlefield and limited time bring out the best in them." The principal of U.A. Highschool said. "There are those who can access the situation in an instant. Those who'll never be late to the party, those who can cope with any given situation, and then there are natural-born warriors." Other teachers on the stand agreed, "The abilities needed to preserve peace in our cities get judged by the points they earn."

"This year's quite the bumper crop, huh?"

"These whippersnappers don't look ready yet."

"But this should tell us more..." One of the teachers opened a small glass box with a red button inside. They pressed it, releasing something humongous to the cityscape. "It begins now!!"

Back in the cityscape, the floor began to rumble, and buildings began to get destroyed. Everyone saw the cause of the shaking and destruction, the zero pointer robot to avoid losing points.

The robot began rampaging in the city, destroying every building in its way. Every examiner began to run away from the zero-pointer robot, afraid they might lose points by just being around it. Everyone began to run away, Glasses, Izuku, and other examiners. They all tried to flee the scene, but the ninja teen heard something that made him look back.

"Oww..." The voice was low. So soft that the city falling would block the cry, but Izuku heard it loud and clear and saw that the girl who helped him from falling was now struggling to get up from the floor. Without thinking, he ran towards the girl, helping her move the rubble from her feet. "Nice to meet you again..."

"Yeah, I hoped that it would be in different circumstances." Izuku moved all the rubble blocking her feet from moving, but it was too late. The robot was going to stomp on them with no sign of escape. Izuku protected the girl with his body, at least knowing he did it trying to save someone from danger.

Both teens waited to get stomped, but it never happened. What they heard was something unexpected, "SUCH BRAVERY!! YOU YOUNG MAN ARE TRULY A HERO!!" Both teens saw the symbol of peace and the No. 1 Hero: All Might, protecting them, become payment in the streets. "DETROIT SMASH!!"

The giant zero pointer robot was destroyed easily by just a punch from All Might. If Izuku were to become the No. 1, he had to work hard to compete with the power of All Might or be more powerful than him.

All Might look at Izuku and put his hand on the young man's shoulder, "YOU WOULD RISK YOUR LIFE TO SAVE ONE PERSON FROM BEING INJURED. ALTHOUGH YOU DIDN'T MANAGE TO DESTROY THE ROBOT, YOU STILL USED ALL OF YOUR POWER TO SAVE HER. YOU ARE THE EMBODIMENT OF A TRUE HERO!!"

Every examinee saw the sight of All Might, the No. 1 hero praising Izuku. Most of them were surprised that All Might was teaching U.A. this year, and others were jealous that All Might talked to the green-haired teen.

"Yes, well done." An older woman said. "Well done. Good work. Yes, yes. Haribo candy for all. Eat up." The woman was known as the Youthful Heroine: Recovery Girl. "Excuse me, sweety." Recovery Girl said to the brown-haired girl. "Are you injured in any way?"

"Just my ankle. I feel like I can't walk."

Recovery Girl heard her and extended her lips, kissing on top of the girl's head. Her quirk, Super Healing Factor, began to heal the girl's ankle. "You might feel dizzy, but that's just a small side effect of my quirk."

"Here, let me help you," Izuku said, helping the gravity girl up her feet. "Feeling better?"

"A little, yeah. I didn't quite get your name, huh?"

"Yeah, names Izuku Midoriya, but call me Izuku." He said, grinning and blushing like an idiot.

The girl chuckled and said, "Names Ochako Uraraka. It's nice to meet you."

--In the other Cityscape--

'Why do I feel like killing Izuku...' Kyoka thought, making a glare that scared the other examiners.

"Um... Are you okay..." One of the examiners said.

Kyoka looked at the brave (stupid) examiner in front of her. "What did you say?" Kyoka said in a tone that would make the devil shiver.

"Nothing, ma'am!!"
