The power and energy that came from the blood red chakra which now seeped out of Naruto was inhuman, bordering on primal. Hinata felt her skin tingle from the heat radiating from her beloved, like the fiery blast from a furnace. She saw his features take on an appearance that almost matched those of his adversaries. His upper and lower cuspids had become fangs, while his crystal blue eyes turned into crimson slits and his nails turned into sharp claws.
And yet despite all of this, she was not afraid of him. Instead, she was concerned. And why wouldn't she be?
This was the man she loved who felt pushed into using a dangerous weapon that was harmful to him. They had gotten lucky last time with her able to mitigate how Naruto had used it, but for all they knew that was a fluke. Hinata wanted to believe that even in a battle frenzy that Naruto had enough sense to recognize her and not harm her, and that on some level Kyuubi would cooperate as such to avoid hurting who was essentially Naruto's mate. But there was also the possibility that Lilith had some influence over the nine-tailed fox, and if so, there was no guarantee Rimona could accomplish the same.
But what would happen now with Naruto using the bijuu chakra in this battle? Jiraiya giving him the key to the seal earlier could possibly change circumstances here. Only time would tell, and Hinata could only hope for the best.
"What in the nine unholy hells is that?" Yui asked, sensing the new chakra, the sheer raw energy making her flinch. She had never sensed anything like this before, at least not outside of the demon realm.
Hinata couldn't help but smile. "That is the reason you shouldn't have tried to hurt me, Yui."
Naruto charged into the fray, taking on his four-tailed cloak form. All his recognizable features were covered in a dense red aura, even his clothes. He snarled and whipped his tails, carefully avoiding Hinata and going right for the succubus. Yui felt a tremor of fear in her and jumped out of the way, getting into the air above the jinchuuriki.
'What is this? Whatever it is, my instincts are screaming to not let him hit me. So how do I fight something that my best weapon can't help me with?' She asked herself, then her fear began to fade and be replaced with confidence. 'I'm not helpless. I'm the heir to the Lord and Lady of Lust. I've got other ways to fight all sorts of enemies, I didn't get to be one of the strongest succubi in the demon realm by being a one trick pony.'
The succubus princess snapped her fingers. "Sic him Touma!"
Her bestial brother leapt into the air and then came hurtling back down like a meteor, right on top of Naruto. A huge cloud of dust rose up from the impact.
"NARUTO-KUN!" Hinata yelled as she peered through the dust to try and catch a glimpse of her beloved blonde.
When the dust cleared, the sight that revealed was one to behold. Touma and Naruto were standing there, grappling with each other. Their hands locked with each other, their feet firmly planted in the ground as they both tried to overpower the other. Their muscles were straining and their veins were popping up against their skin. Moreso with Touma since Naruto's skin wasn't quite visible at the moment. Each glared at the other and growled, gnashing their teeth, with the jinchuuriki looking like he was trying to bite the incubus's face off.
'Impossible, no one has ever been able to match Touma strength for strength'. Yui thought as she saw her brother starting to be driven back.
The red chakra that emanated from Naruto grew more intense and the air around him became almost electrified. For the first time since the battle started, a look of fear passed through Touma's eyes. Naruto roared like a tiger and suddenly lifted Touma up and threw the incubus into the air. Naruto crouched and then jumped up, leaving a small crater as he did. He appeared next to Touma and slammed his foot down in a drop kick, sending Touma hurtling back towards the ground. However, Naruto got there before him, drew back his fist, and fired it like a cannon the moment Touma's face was in front of him. Yui watched as her brother, took the blow and went flying backwards. Again, using the amazing speed that he had been granted by the power of the Kyuubi, Naruto seemingly teleported ahead of the incubus. He raised his arms above his head and brought them down together onto Touma as he passed. The blow had knocked the orange-haired demon into the ground, the road cracking from the force.
Naruto, stood up straight and looked down at the prone unmoving form of Touma, who laid face down in the earth. The blonde then turned his attention upwards and glared at Yui.
The succubus landed in front of Naruto, posing confidently, almost seductively. "Well well well, I have got to admit, you impressed me. And I have to say, your new look suits you, in fact you could easily pass as a demon now."
All she got in response was a growl from Naruto, who took a menacing step forward.
"Do you want to play with me now, human? Then come at me."
He looked at her and snarled, his stance suggested that he was ready to pounce. However, Yui simply smiled and her mismatched eyes suddenly glowed. "Aiyokugan!"
Hinata got worried. It wasn't like she had forgotten about the eyes of a succubus, after all she had used them herself when she had hosted Lilith. But right now, she wondered if there was more to the doujutsu than Lilith had told her about.
Yui smirked, there was no creature, man or beast, that could resist the power of her aiyokugan. A single gaze from her eyes rendered any male and multiple females as putty in her hands. "There we go." She said with a coy tone. "Now then, be a good boy and come to me. I like rewarding good boys." Yui offered, holding out her hand and speaking to Naruto like he was some kind of pet. In fact, she might just put a collar on him later, because if her brother could take a human plaything then so could she.
However, much to her shock, Naruto roared and charged at her. Her immediate reaction was to get back into the air, though she had missed having her throat slashed by a hair.
"What!? How could he resist?" Yui exclaimed, utterly flabbergasted. "No one has ever been able to defy the aiyokugan!"
Naruto growled up at her, then he came over to Hinata and gently scooped her up into his arms, holding her bridal style. For a moment, Hinata allowed herself to relax in his embrace, resting her head against him. Then she looked up at Yui and smiled.
"You may know everything about lust Yui, but you apparently don't know anything about love. It is not something that can be broken by some glorified harlot fluttering her eyes."
Yui's face darkened with those words.
"Hinata, let me connect with Kyuubi. I think I can help end this quicker that way." Rimona suggested.
Seeing no reason not too, Hinata placed her hand onto Naruto's cheek and channeled some chakra into him.
What happened next could only be described as a head rush, like what happened when one stood up took quickly and felt disoriented. Blinking her eyes, Hinata suddenly found herself in an empty void. There was nothing around her though she felt like she was standing on a floor that she couldn't see.
"Hinata-chan?"
Turning around, Hinata saw Naruto standing there, with the Kyuubi in all his terrifying glory behind him, while a red glow on the ground connected them. Ignoring the giant fox, Hinata rushed to the whiskered blonde and hugged him tightly, burying her face against his chest. He returned the hug, gently kissing the top of her head. After a few moments, she looked up at him.
"What's going on?" She asked.
"Well, I was actually hoping that you could tell me." Naruto said with a confused grin. "I mean, I've been here before, but never with someone else in here, and for some reason the big furball's not in his cage and he's not attacking me." He said as he pointed to the nine-tailed fox behind him. The huge bijuu growled menacingly at the comment but did not say anything.
"You're welcome for that."
The two humans looked and saw behind Hinata there was Rimona, showing off her succubus features, complete with tail and wings.
And just like with Naruto and Kyuubi, the ground between her and Hinata glowed, this time a faint sky blue.
"Listen, I know that time in here doesn't work the same way it does in the real world, but we should make this fast." The succubus stated. For although minutes here were mere fractions of a second in the outside world, past experience told her that fractions of a second were all her siblings needed in order to take advantage of a situation
"Then hurry up and speak spawn of Lilith. My patience is wearing thin." Kyuubi warned.
"Hey, you oversized plushie, you could learn to speak with some manners" Naruto yelled up to the fox, who glared down at the blonde.
"I would rip you apart and eat your soul brat, if I didn't fear for my own life." The fox said with a snarl.
"If the two of you would cease bickering like children, I can assure you that what I have to say is worth hearing." Rimona assured. "My sister's power may not affect you, but she is still stronger than you. I'm impressed that you beat Touma, but raw power will not be enough to defeat her or Riku. What you need is a plan, or rather you will need technique. And I think I know what will work. But first, I need help. And that requires cooperation."
"Why should I listen to you, whelp?" Kyuubi challenged.
"Hey, she's been helpful to us fox!" Naruto protested.
"Brat, for a moment, pretend you are not an idiot and try to recall that Lilith claimed to be 'helpful' as well. Look how well that ended." Kyuubi reminded his jailer.
Naruto opened his mouth to protest but could not find the words to challenge the Fox.
"Kyuubi, I know you have had discord with my family and truth be told I have no love for you beyond the nourishment of your chakra. However, I have no desire to surrender to my siblings. And nor do I imagine you, the most powerful of the tailed beasts, want to be defeated by sex demons."
The Kyuubi did not argue that point.
"Now, I can't guarantee victory by working together, but can you guarantee victory by working separately?" Rimona asked.
Again, the Kyuubi did not argue.
"The enemy of my enemy is my friend. If we cooperate, we stand a better chance. Once we have beaten my siblings, then we can go back to hating each other."
The giant fox was silent for a moment, his nine tails swishing back and forth, and he contemplated the offer. Then he snorted loudly and lowered himself down, so that his giant eyes were fixed directly on the succubus. "What is your plan?"
Kakashi was throwing whatever moves and using every technique he knew against the incubus prince. All in an effort to buy time. Time for Jiraiya to recover, time for Fukasaku to return with his weapon, time for Naruto to unleash his raw power. Time for anything that could turn the tide in their favor.
But time was costing the copy-cat ninja heavily and he was rapidly running out.
Riku rolled with the punches and was obviously reacting to the hits that he was receiving, but ultimately, he looked casual, like he was simply humoring Kakashi and using only a fraction of his power. It honestly reminded Kakashi of the approach he had presented when he first tested his brand new genin squad. That was frightening if the implications were to be taken seriously.
'He says he's not going easy, but his behavior says otherwise. Either he's bluffing or his heart just isn't in this fight.' Kakashi thought.
Suddenly, Riku caught Kakashi's fist with his hand and dug his nails into the former ANBU's skin. "I must admit human, you have skill." Riku said with a smile as he tightened his grip. "I am wondering if it has something to do with that eye of yours." He added, his own demonic eyes glowing with an inner fire as he brought his face closer to Kakashi's. "How well would you fight, if I plucked it out and crushed it like a grape?"
Kakashi then did something that he never thought he would ever do, he took a page from Naruto's book and headbutted Riku hard. There was a crunching sound, and Riku released Kakashi, more due to shock than pain. The incubus stumbled backwards, blood and mucus dripping down from his broken nose. The incubus groaned as he placed his hand over his face to staunch the bleeding.
Taking advantage of the moment, and ignoring the throbbing pain in his forehead, Kakashi swiftly did some hand seals and began to concentrate his chakra into his right hand. As he focused, crackling blue energy started to take shape. As much energy as he could risk putting into his palm, just barely to the point where it would hurt. Then he launched himself forward, his right arm outstretched. Discharge from the electricity-charged chakra struck the ground leaving burn marks on the road but thankfully not hitting anyone.
Riku, still somewhat dazed, barely had a moment to react when he took the infamous Chidori directly into the chest. There was a small white-blue explosion of energy, followed by Riku being thrown back like a rag doll. His body smashed through the trunks of several trees which collapsed on top him. Kakashi remained standing, but he was panting heavily.
'Did I get him? Please, let him stay down. My team needs this.'
There was crashing and grunting, and then Riku rose up from beneath the fallen trees. His shirt had been completely destroyed and there was a large black-yellow bruise on his chest surrounding an open hole that bled. But otherwise he seemed unharmed.
Kakashi sighed. 'Why am I not surprised?'
What was surprising was Riku's expression. Rather than suppressed pain or even his bemused patient smile, he was now frowning. His eyes had narrowed and were glowing with rage. If he had just been playing a game with them before, he wasn't anymore.
The incubus cracked the knuckles of his right hand and then placed it over the wound on his chest. There was a sizzling sound and Kakashi could detect the scent of burning flesh. Riku gave a grunt of discomfort though he kept his hand in place for a moment longer, when he finally removed, revealing a hand shaped burn mark over the now cauterized wound.
'He seared the hole in his chest closed!?' During the last great ninja war, he had seen several shinobi use similar methods, but most typically passed out from the pain.
Riku then unleashed his wings, unlike Aru's wings which were scaled like a dragon or Lilith's which were batlike, Riku's wings were feathered like those of a crow or a raven. Then, faster than he had moved before, Riku came at Kakashi like a missile. Kakashi didn't have time to move, the hands of the incubus prince wrapped themselves around his throat and began to throttle him to the ground.
Kakashi struggled and strained to try and break free, however Riku positioned himself so that his knees were on top of Kakashi's arms, preventing their use.
"Here's what I did when I fought the last Lord of the First Circle, human!" Riku declared, raising his right hand up from Kakashi's throat. Said hand then became engulfed in amethyst purple flames with sparks of blue lightning dancing around it sporadically. "I've never used it on a human before, so I am interested to see what it will do to you." He added with a cruel sneer as he brought his flaming hand to Kakashi's face.
But then he paused, his hand a few inches from touching the Leaf Nin's skin. Riku seemed distracted, in fact his body shivered. It was as if he could sense something in the air and had to stabilize himself. "What the-?"
Before Riku could do anything, Jiraiya came out of nowhere and jabbed the incubus with a sword, knocking him off the cycloptic shinobi. Then he immediately worked to slap a bunch of paper tags all over him, as many as he could.
"Hurry Kakashi, I need help if we're going to put him down ASAP!"
Kakashi got up, taking a second to truly notice what was going on. Jiraiya had two toads perched on his shoulders and his appearance was different, slightly toadish in his facial features. But he could sense a great deal of strength coming off him, though at the same time like it had been used and was replenishing. Also in his hands was no ordinary sword, it looked like a long black katana that had waves of energy emanating from the blade, like the heat above a fire.
Taking the moment, Kakashi readied another Chidori, knowing that he had to make this one count because he wouldn't get to do it again, and ran at the downed demon. To his surprise, Riku swiftly rose to his feet.
'That's impossible. That's like two dozen paralysis seals on him. He should be glad he can still blink.' Jiraiya thought, noting that the seals were burning at the edge but not gone.
Riku readied his arm, now all of it instead of his hand engulfed in purple flames with blue lightning, though it looked painful as hell for him, and he punched back, his fist colliding with the Chidori. The soundwave was felt by all three there, knocking them off their feet.
"Jiraiya, if the seals and the toad chant didn't work, then the only option we have left is to go all out with the blade." Fukasaku notified his summoner, reaffirming that the connection allowing senjutsu remained between them.
Jiraiya made a gruff noise but nodded. While demons were not invulnerable, they had astonishing resilience. Beating them was like punching through a wall when you didn't know the thickness of it, if you didn't want to be wear yourself out by accumulating small damage you would have to go all out with big hits and shatter it quickly. The problem with that was you risked wearing yourself out quicker and if you didn't beat your opponent, you were vulnerable. But right now what other choice did they have?
Kakashi meanwhile felt tremendous pain in his arm and glanced down, hoping that it wouldn't be the worst possible scenario. To his horror, his arm appeared to be turning into ash, like he was being cremated alive, with chunks falling off the visible bones that were charred black. Not only that, the process was spreading upwards towards his shoulder like a poison.
Seeing this, Jiraiya acted quickly and used the blade to sever the arm just below the shoulder. While doing so the blade shined blue for a split second and cut through the bone. The severed limb fell to the ground and continued to disintegrate, but the bleeding stump showed no further damage.
"There, I think we stopped it." Jiraiya said, taking a deep breath in relief. Kakashi held in a scream of pain and used his one remaining hand to stem the bleeding, wishing Sakura was there right now.
Riku got up, his own arm looking burned too but more like a widespread electrical burn that wasn't making him fall apart. "You're good, I guess humans have gotten stronger at fighting demons over the eons." He admitted, taking several deep breaths. "I'll grant you your lives today humans. I still have specific goals to accomplish here and I'm not about to let you stop me, so I'm ending our fight. Pray we don't resume it."
With that, Riku took off into the town.
"Jiraiya, catch him!" Kakashi stated.
The toad sannin knelt to treat the jounin with what little medical training he had picked up. "If I do that then you'll die, and Naruto will never forgive me for that."
"If Hinata gets hurt or worst, he'll never forgive anyone."
Jiraiya nodded. "Have faith in him to protect her then, like I do."
Both men then saw a shadow go by behind the buildings.
"What was that?" Kakashi asked, his sharingan not catching it.
"Never mind, focus on not dying."
Before Yui's eyes, the red chakra on Naruto's body crept over Hinata's, and yet the Hyuuga heiress seemed to welcome it. A pink chakra meanwhile grew over Hinata's body and crept over Naruto's as well, mending with the red but not blending.
'What the hell? Are they sharing chakra? How can that be possible?' Yui asked.
Both humans became covered in chakra cloaks, and surprisingly Naruto began to stand up on two legs. He still looked vulpine, and so did Hinata, but a set of wings grew out of both backs and the chakra tails ended in spades. It was like some kind of mixture of kyuubi and succubus chakra for them both.
The two took to the air at her and lashed out with their claws. Yui was too surprised to risk taking hits from them and backed away, going up higher. The two descended, landed, and jumped again, getting closer but missing and going back down.
'Ah, so in this form they can't actually fly, just jump higher. I can beat them by just staying out of reach.' The succubus princess thought, grinning.
Naruto and Hinata jumped up again and this time Naruto grabbed Hinata and threw her up more, giving her extra altitude. This shocked Yui and Hinata got in close, hitting her with her strongest juuken technique amplified by two demonic chakras. Yui felt like she was being shredded bit by bit, every time Hinata hit a tenketsu she wasn't just closing it she was damaging the flesh around it too. Soon enough there were 128 open holes on the succubus's body, and just for go measure Hinata extended the attack to include her wings.
Yui plummeted to the ground and landed unceremoniously next to Touma. She felt like she had just been legitimately tortured, more pain than even she could tolerate experiencing. What made it worse was seeing her assailant land, looking no worse for wear. What those demonic chakras of hers were, they were nullifying the effects of Yui's special power on her.
For the first time in a long time, Yui was afraid she would actually lose.
Hinata got up to the downed demoness, looking rather proud of herself despite her face being obscured. She raised her arm to strike down and leave Yui with a rather nasty wound, if she was lucky.
But that didn't happen. Before she could lash out, Hinata froze, shaking a little in resistance to whatever was halting him. She heard approaching footsteps, going at a calm pace, then her body went lax and she had to stop herself from falling. When she could, she looked towards the sound of the footsteps and gasped when she saw an unexpected sight. There stood Ino, hands in the shape of her family's seals, her eyes on Hinata with her mouth in a sly grin.
"I warned you Hinata, I warned you." She spoke, but not in Ino's voice.
Hinata gasped, recognizing the voice. "Lilith?"
Just then, Riku came in at a reckless speed and grabbed the Hyuuga heiress from behind. Naruto roared, having landed a bit further away and rushed at the one daring to grab his mate, but then Riku was covered in a plume of black smoke, and when it cleared he was gone.
And so was...
"HINATA?!"
