Don Karnage's eyes opened wide as he took in a breath. He remembered being shot and killing Hacksaw, but after that, everything was a blur. Looking around, he saw that he was in some kind of temple. No doubt by the drawings and texts on the wall, Karnage was in Ghaphia. As the captain looked around he saw group of lovely vixens wearing priestess robes. Then the lovely Katie Dodd walked up to him.
Captain Karnage was captivated by her beauty, her firm large breasts and her perfume that filled his nose. She placed a hand to his head, smiling at him.
"You seem to be doing alright now," Katie said. "When we found you, our employer, Mr. Ben Sultan took pity on you, so my sisters and I used the temples power to save your life."
Karnage was overcome with awe, he had now learned why Mr. Sultan founding the dig site, he wanted to have the power of the temple in his hands. But Mr. Sultan seemed to pick up on what the captain was thinking, so he helped him see his true intentions for the temple. Mr. Sultan led Karnage to a small room, with many different drawings on the walls.
"You think I want to have this kind of power?" Mr. Sultan asked. Karnage looked at him with a nod, but the old tiger shook his head. "I don't want this power because I gave it to you."
"Me?" the captain asked, shocked by the thought of having the temple's power. "But why me?"
"Because you are the chosen one to wield the power, just like your forefathers before you."
Mr. Sultan could tell that Karnage was now even more confused. So, he told him the whole story.
However, while Mr. Sultan helped Karnage, the air pirates were celebrating for finally getting a job done that would pay well. Mad Dog stood up from his place at the table. "Quiet!" he shouted, his voice louder then the cheering pirates. The crew turned to the weasel, silent as a grave.
"I would like to have a moment of silence for our friend Hacksaw," Mad Dog said raising his glass in respect for the dingo. The other pirates did the same.
"A drink for Hacksaw. God rest his soul," Dumptruck said.
Gibber spoke his mind then, as it was his turn to share his thoughts. "When we joined the late, Don Karnage, things were good. But when he learned of having a daughter, it made us weak. So I say we should get rid of the captain's family."
"I second that," Hal shouted as he slammed his fist on the table.
"Yeah, make them walk the plank," another pirate laughed.
But Mad Dog had another idea. One that would make them a little extra money than what Shere Khan was going to pay them. So, the pirates made their way toward a rather popular pirate hangout. An island that only pirates and other criminal groups would know of – Pleasure Island.
Two days later...
It was night time before Karnage arrived on Pleasure Island, his one goal was to get his family back and punish his crew for turning on him. When he had set out to find his family, Ben Sultan had told him that his men had been following the Iron Vulture and tracked their movement on the island, so it was good to know where his crew was.
Now as Karnage walked through the crowed streets, he spied a small child being forced to pleasure an older pirate. The little girl was crying as the older pirate made her touch him. The very sight of this made the captain sick, so, he decided to help the kid out. As the old pirate closed his eyes in pleasure, Karnage suddenly grabbed him from behind and threw him to the ground. "Keep your filthy hand off her!" the captain warned.
The older pirate quickly got to his feet, but then saw that Karnage was ready to draw his sword, so he left. When Karnage saw that the other guy was gone, he turned to the child and looked at her with concern.
"Are you alright?" he asked the child. "He didn't hurt you did he?"
The little girl looked up at him, her eyes filled with tears as she threw her arms around Karnage's waist and cried. "Please don't let them hurt me!" she sobbed. "I don't want to be here, I want to go home!"
Home. That was the one word Karnage loved to hear, but he couldn't go back until he found Jasmine and Anna. Being very careful not to spook the girl, the captain returned the hug.
It took Don Karnage a few minutes to help the little girl calm down, but once she was calm, the girl was able to tell him where Jasmine was. He thanked her, then bought her a ticket off the island. With the child now free from a life of abuse, Karnage followed the kid's directions to an old strip club. As he pushed the doors open, Karnage saw two of his crew—Mad Dog and Dumptruck.
The two pirates sat at a table next to the stage. Knowing that they would see him, Karnage sat at the table behind them. The room suddenly went dark as the stage lit up with sparklers.
"Gentlemen! Put you hands together for our newest lady, Jasmine!" the hostess shouted. All the men in the club cheered as Jasmine walked out on stage. She had a chain around her neck as if she was some kind of pet.
"Dance for us!" the men shouted.
Jasmine cried as she began to strip dance for the crowd. Karnage felt his heart breaking in two seeing Jasmine in such pain. No woman deserved this, so the captain drew his sword and rushed the stage. Mad Dog and Dumptruck were shocked to see their captain still alive. Jasmine was shocked as well.
"Donovan? You're alive?" Jasmine gasped. Karnage then brought his sword down on the chain, cutting it in two, thus setting her free.
"Run for the dock and wait for me there!" Karnage shouted. Jasmine obeyed and ran for her life.
"Kill him!" the hostess shouted. The men in the bar drew their weapons and rushed him. Captain Karnage ran toward the mob, swinging his blade. He struck down three of the attacks and quickly made his way out into the streets. Soon, a huge fight was taking place. People on the streets watched in awe as Karnage dealt with the men who had caused Jasmine much pain.
When the fight was over, Karnage watched with a smile as the remaining men ran for their lives. But he spied Mad Dog, wounded. Dumptruck was trying to help him, but he too ran off as Karnage approached them.
"Dumptruck, come back!" Mad Dog shouted. He looked up at his captain who was staring daggers at him. "What do you want? I'll give you anything, just let me live!" the wounded pirate begged.
Karnage smiled. "Then tell me where my daughter is," he said.
Mad Dog gulped and chocked on his words. "We sold her. I don't know where she is."
The smile on Karnage's face faded. The captain didn't say word as he slid his blade across Mad Dog's neck, cutting his throat. Mad Dog began gasping for life as he bled to death. Then Karnage turned and walked away.
Dumptruck was still running for his life as he cut through the many shops and booths. He had to make it to the Iron Vulture. As the big pirate neared the Vulture's docking bay, someone landed in front of him. It was Karnage.
"Going somewhere traitor?" Karnage asked him. Dumptruck fell backwards and tried to crawl away from his captain. But he didn't make it. Inside the Iron Vulture, Will was enjoying getting a blowjob from a hooker he brought on board when he heard Dumptruck screaming.
"What was that?" he gasped and rushed to the nearest window. Will looked out and saw nothing, he then began to feel the need to sound the alarm, but before he could reach the switch, Karnage grabbed him.
"Hello, Will," Karnage growled in his ear, then snapped his neck. The captain looked at the hooker and threw her Will's wallet. "Go home!" was all he said to her. Then Karnage went deeper into his ship to deal with his crew.
Hal was minding his business when something fell at his feet. The overweight cat reached down and picked up the small item. Hal saw that it was Will's belt buckle! Suddenly, there came Karnage, walking out of the shadows, laughing.
Laughing at him.
Hal drew his pistol, but as he got it up, Karnage was gone! The overweight cat looked around for his captain, he was alone….or so he believed he was. Something struck him hard in the leg. Hal fell down.
BANG! He fired a round off. Then Hal turned and saw the captain's blade coming. He had no time to move and the blade made contact with his cheek. BANG! He fired another round, missed and looked around to find Karnage.
The captain laughed at Hal. "That won't do you any good, you can't kill what you can't see!"
Hal felt his voice leave him as the sound of the scraping metal was heard. Finally, he found his his voice. "Where are you?!" he shouted.
"Here," Karnage whispered, he was standing behind Hal the whole time. The overweight cat didn't get a chance to turn before being struck down.
By now, the other pirates had heard the shooting and were now ready for a fight. As Gibber and Ratchet walked through the hanger, something swung down in front of them. It took Ratchet a minute to see that it was Hal.
"No! Who ever is on board has killed Hal. Gibber don't you think-" Ratchet turned to see what Gibber was doing, but he was gone. Gone and the only thing that proved he had been there was his hat.
Up on another deck, Switchblade saw something pull another pirate into a dark room. He freaked out and ran for his life.
Soon, the remaining pirates began hearing the screams of their crew echoing off the walls of the ship. It was if the Iron Vulture was being haunted.
Ratchet ran down one hall, up one deck and down another. Lost in fear, the mechanic pirate couldn't figure out where the exit was, so all he could do was run. As he turned another corner, someone ran into him. It was Switchblade. Both pirates almost screamed when the impact happened, but they suddenly felt rather happy to be together.
"You scared me half to death," Switchblade laughed, giving Ratchet a playful shove.
Ratchet smiled back at his friend. "I thought you the ghost of Karnage, you jerk."
But if the two pirates had been paying any attention, they would have seen Karnage slowly walking toward them.
"Let's get off this..." Ratchet looked up, his smile slowly fading into a look of pure fear. "...Shit!" he gasped as Karnage rushed forward with his sword drawn.
Switchblade looked on in horror as Ratchet's head rolled off his shoulders and hit the floor with a light thud. The panic stricken pirate began to turn but came came face to face with Jasmine. The beautiful vixen looked at him with a frown.
"Please tell me who had my daughter," she said softly, almost pleading with Switchblade to answer her. The pirate looked behind him and saw Karnage staring daggers at him.
"I don't know where she is, some panther named Jones bought her. He had another guy named Garth working with him." Switchblade sobbed. "That's all I know! I swear!"
Jasmine then put her hands around his neck and made him look her in the eye. "Who's ship is this?"
"His," he said. Jasmine nodded, then let him leave.
After Karnage had reclaimed his ship, he set to work finding a new crew. After all, he now had to get back to Cape Suzette. Anna was there, and in very grave danger.
