Harry opened the front door with a big smile. Charlie was holding up the bag of take away from down the road and a case of muggle beer in the other. "Ready for a night in of booze and relaxation?"

Harry took the case of beer from him, "Heck yes! The office has been crazy since yesterday. I need to relax a bit. That stupid computer system crashed and it took me two days to manually file the reports it buggered up." Harry led Charlie down the hall into the kitchen setting the clanking bottles onto the counter. He turned taking the plastic bag of cardboard take out containers. "You can hang your coat over there if you want. Make yourself comfortable. There's a mat there for your shoes too."

Harry turned around just in time to watch Charlie shimmy out of his black leather jacket and kick off his trainers. Charlie was dressed in a pair of ripped jeans and a black tee shirt, it clinging to his chest and arms. Clearly the man was staying fit spending all his time chasing and taming dragons. Harry had an appreciation for how handsome Charlie really was.

He looked up just in time to catch Charlie's eyes, a knowing smirk on his face. He had been caught looking. Harry cleared his throat. "Uh, so I thought we would put on a movie and gorge ourselves in the Indian food." He popped open the case of beer and offered one to Charlie, their fingers brushing as he took it.

"Sounds good to me. I told mum I wouldn't be back until late. God knows she worries no matter how old we are. When is Teddy due back?" Charlie twisted the top off and took a large swig of his beer before helping gather silverware as Harry dished out food onto plates.

"Oh, she said around nine. She is actually taking him to dinner over to her sisters. They have been talking and things have been mending well I guess. I'm a little nervous so I'm glad you're here to take my mind off it." Harry said honestly as they made their way into the living room. He sat the plates on the coffee table and fiddled around with the TV to throw a movie on.

"Well I'm glad I could be of service then. What has you so nervous exactly? I thought you didn't mind Narcissa?" Charlie made himself comfortable on the couch sitting in the middle forcing Harry to sit along side him so their legs touched.

Harry had ditched his proper work clothes and had slipped into jeans and an old quidditch tee shirt with a few holes in it. He had skipped the socks preferring to walk around barefoot enjoying the cool floor on his feet. He dug into his plate half starved, having skipped lunch again today.

"Oh I don't mind her one bit. I actually had lunch with her twice over the last two years. She not what I had expected. She much like your mother in the ways that matter. Malfoy is all she really cares about. It's her husband that makes me nervous. He's still serving on his seven years house arrest and no wand. I don't want him trash talking muggles or muggle borns in front of Teddy. Though, Narcissa gives me the impression that the war and his punishment humbled the man in some ways. I trust Andy to know what she's doing with Teddy. Just nervous all the same." Harry replied with a shrug swigging his beer.

Charlie nodded, "That's completely normal Harry. You are Teddys parent. You are always going to worry when he's not in your line of sight. Hence why I had to tell my mother at my age where I would be tonight. If it doesn't go well tonight I'm confident that Andy won't bring him back there." He finished his first beer in two more large gulps. "Want another?" He waved his empty bottle standing up.

Harry nodded finishing his just as quick to keep pace with Charlie. "Absolutely. Maybe I can buzz enough until Teddy gets home. That would be perfect. Just bring the whole case in here. I have a feeling we are going to kill it quickly."

Charlie chuckled but agreed and headed back into the kitchen grabbing the box off the counter. He spotted the bottle of fire whiskey tucked off to the side and decided to snag that too.

"Hope you don't mind or think I'm too forward, how's a shot sound? It seems like to me you need one after work and all the home stress." Charlie flashed a smile and scooted in next to Harry again. He took the top off the fire whiskey and held the bottle out to him. "You first."

Harry let out a laugh, "Yeah, okay. Let's do it." And took a swig letting it burn his throat and warm his chest. He passed the bottle to Charlie watching him take a shot too.

It didn't take long before the case of beer and the entire bottle of whiskey was gone. Harry was leaning against Charlie laughing, "Your brother was so mad. He came back soaking wet smelling worse than a swamp! He to this day says it was the worse mission he's ever been on."

Harry looked up at Charlie, his entire body buzzing from the alcohol. He watched the man lick his lips, the air around them seeming to change. Suddenly, Charlie was leaning in and his lips were on Harrys.

Harry froze in shock, as he felt Charlie's hand come up and rest against his face drawing him in. Slowly, Charlie used his lips to coax Harrys to relax enough to respond. His eyes fluttered shut on their own accord, his heart hammering in his chest. He could count on one hand the amount of times he had kissed someone. Kissing Charlie was nothing like any of those times.

Charlies mouth slotted against his almost perfectly and he could feel a bit of the man's stubble rubbing against his face. Harry felt embarrassingly as awkward kissing a man as he did kissing a woman.

He felt Charlie's tongue run against his bottom lip asking for entrance. Was he really about to snog Charlie? Before Harry could respond he heard the floo roar to life and voices. Harry jumped back startled, quickly standing and shifting his growing erection to be hidden in his pants.

"Harry?" Andy called from the other room, he could hear her taking Teddys coat off and suddenly little legs carried the toddler into the living room.

"Daddy!!" Teddy squealed in delight running to him with a small new green stuffed dragon in his hands. "Lewwk! Dragon!!! Daco!" He said happily as he held his arms out to be picked up.

"Oh daddy sees. What a nice new dragon." Harry smiled as Andy came into the room.

"I'm sorry we are a little bit early. Dinner went great, but uh… there was a small mishap and well I didn't want Teddy to see the arguing." She glanced over and noticed Charlie standing awkwardly.

"Uh, I'm going to go Harry. It's getting late. I'll text you in a little bit and maybe we can pick up tomorrow where we left off." He gave a small wave to Andy and kissed Teddy on his head before going to gather his things. Harry heard the floo and looked back over to Andy.

"I'm sorry Harry… I didn't know you were on a date. I would have found something else for us to do until nine."

"Oh?! That's Charlie Weasley. This wasn't… I'm not…. It wasn't what it…" Harry glanced at Teddy and back to Andy. "Charlie and I are just friends."

"You know Harry, it's okay to have a life outside of work and just taking care of Teddy. I know that after everything the universe has thrown at you that you can take a little time and happiness for yourself."

Harry watched the woman, loving her more and more every time he saw her. She had almost walked in on him kissing another man, and she didn't bat and eye lash. Maybe he could finally tell everyone he was gay.

"I know, I'm just… I'm not ready to tell everyone I like… men. I'm sure they will love and accept me. I'm just… coming to terms with it as of recently. I am talking to someone and…" shite… He was talking with someone and he just lip locked with another man. Was he suppose to tell Cobra what happened? They were really dating, but hiding it made it feel like he was lying, and he certainly didn't want to do that. " I'm just taking my time." He cleared his throat and looked at Teddys new dragon. "So you said there was an issue at the Malfoy's? Everything okay?"

"Oh, it was fine. My nephew, Draco showed up for dinner. Cissy I guess had fire called him to let him know I was coming with his baby cousin and he should join us. That's where the Dragon came from. Draco brought it. Dinner was quiet, no issues then, it wasn't until we were having tea in the sitting room and Draco was on the floor playing with Teddy that Lucius started in on his son. About the Malfoy line dying with him because he was gay. That his job was a disgrace. It was getting a bit much so I excused ourselves and brought Teddy home."

Harrys brows furrowed together. "Malfoy brought a stuffed dragon for him?" That was the weirdest part for him. He had never pictured Malfoy to be the nurturing type. Eat playing on the floor with him.

"Daco!! Teddy said excitedly. "Dragon Daco."

"Yes, turns out my nephew is quite fond of children. Between him and Narcissa they were spoiling him rotten. He liked Draco so much he unintentionally turned his hair to look just like his and named his dragon after him. I do think that it would be good for Teddy to get to see them some. Never can have too much family."

Harry laughed lightly. Yeah, spend time with Malfoy. That sounded like a nightmare. The would probably argue like cats and dogs. "Well I'm sure that can be arranged when you go to see your sister again. Thank you again for keeping him a while. Work had been a night mare and I needed to relax for a bit."

"Anytime Harry. And if you decide to meet up with this new friend of yours you are talking to, just let me know. Teddy and I can have a sleep over that night. I'll talk to you soon. Good night Teddy." She kissed the boy all over his face until he giggled and dropped his dragon in his flailing. "Good night Harry."

Harry listened to the floo roar one last time, "come on Teddy Bear. Let's take your new dragon and go get ready for bed." Harry still needed to clean up and at some point message Charlie. He loved Charlie like family… but what happened tonight, that couldn't happen again. He didn't want to hurt the man's feelings but he just didn't like him like that.

Harry climbs the stairs, his buzz finally gone, but his head still spinning. A lot had happened in the last few days and it was really making him need a vacation. He smiled at Teddy who was happily playing with his new toy. One day at a time, one problem at a time. Right now, bedtime.
