Vereesa point of view:

Kingdom of Lordaeron: Somewhere in the countryside

The sun had just barely risen from its shelter behind the mountains, painting the skies and vegetation during those scarce moments it was barely above the ground with a scarlet hue before it gave way to that bright, yellowish- orange shade of any other day as it rose higher and higher above their heads. It was the only moment in time this forest ever gained a shade different from the monotony of lime, half dried leaves it possessed.

Her eyes narrowed to a half lid, but were not perturbed much by the light peering shyly through the cracks of the foliage. Its rays caressed the exposed skin that her shirt could not hide, silver strands of hair glinting under its touch as they rested on a simple ponytail that bumped from time to time against her back whether she sprinted in one direction or jumped over some fallen trunks that would have been barely perceived until too late if not for her senses...

She noted that it lacked the strength she was used to back home. Which was surprising, she had never felt a sun that barely gave any warmth under its shade.

Leaves and small branches rustled under her tread…, the winds having ripped them out from the tree tops and laid them scattered on the humid ground.

She could feel the morning breeze brushing against her in a rather crude manner, it was neither gentle nor rough... it was just there. Making its presence known every ten to twenty five seconds as it dragged her breath away from her lips, playing with whatever loose strands of hair it could find, or just tug to the sides her brows as if they were the antennas of some insect.

It was a cold and dry wind, too much for her liking or at least the way she felt her body shiver seemed to speak as such. Devoid of the mirth and warmth the draughts of Eversongwoods held within them all year be it night or day.

There were no scents or aromas that she could identify, or if they were.., they appeared too small to detect with a simple scrutiny. The magic around her was minimal as-well, where it should have been hovering in the air or filling the ground and flora around her there was none. Almost as if dried up a long time ago. What she could feel was the dampness that lingered stubbornly in the air and soil, but that was mostly because the night prior there was a sudden downpour...

Lordaeron was definitely a strange place to live….be it by the abnormal weather or their simplistic buildings, to the lack of essence of their very forest. Even the food tasted different, the lack of spices making them more bland and rough, yet there was some fire to it...

Curiously..., she found out that she did not mind much at all as she walked through the almost covered dirt path. Her ears perking at the sound of birds chirping as they started to awake and welcome the new day...

It felt new….

An adventure always had to feel like that or you were doing something wrong.

She stared at the branches of the trees around her, stealing a few glances at the small shadows and colourful feathery frames of their temporary inhabitants. The way their small heads cocked to the side almost shyly while those black round eyes looked back at her. It seemed that she was not the only one thinking of the novelty passing through.

A smirk crossed her lips...

She knew she did not have her bow with her, but perhaps she could catch one of them? Climbing had never been a struggle for her. She pressed a hand against the cool, rough surface of the closest tree in her vicinity. Her fingers tapping softly the mould like spots glued to it, making sure the external bark would not break under her weight once she tried to attempt it.

She knew the trees of her homeland like the back of her hand..., but who knew with these human trees? So gaunt and shadowy…, yet standing rather firmly on the ground...the thick roots protruding from the ground and creating unexpected traps further feet.

``Quack...´´

``Eh..?´´

She mumbled out loud..., though it was nothing more than a weary whisper as she tilted her head to the side. Her eyes looking from one place to the other, not really knowing where that strange sound was coming from, or what animal had it come from.

``Quack..quack..´´

As if wishing to grant her the answers she sought the sound returned once more, this time a little louder and sharper and clearly younger.

Before she knew she was already on the move. Venturing outside the laid out path that she had trodden absent minded until then, pushing the bushes out of her way with one arm, hunching her back and lowering her body she started tip toeing over the fallen leaves in an attempt to not step over any fallen branch as she approached closer and closer to the source..

She did not know what she was expecting to find, but by the time she reached a prominent slope that led down to a small pool of water She even laid down on the ground and gradually leaned her body over the edge as her hands got a firm grip on the humid and slippery ground. Making sure to avoid a large spot of mud that was in the way during the process.

She was left dumbfounded when her eyes finally caught a glimpse of the ones behind her new source of interest as the sound of water splashed around became louder with a strange noise..

Birds, a bunch of big, fat looking birds that could probably reach her knees with ease…and yet they were nothing like she had seen before. A single thought crossing her mind in that very moment in time as she became fixated with their mannerisms and..appearances.

...Birds that swim..?...

….

Ironic wasn't it? She had seen Lynx hunting in the wilderness, patted the heads of dragon-hawks with her very own hands and even spotted the blazing, burning wings of a phoenix once during the Kingdoms founding celebration as it surged through the dark, starry sky like winged comet...

And what shocked her was some birds swimming and splashing the water all around in a pond…?

She could not help but chuckle at the idiocy of the statement. Not even when she tried to hold herself to avoid giving away her position, fingers failing to seal the smirk from her lips.

Perhaps her mother was right to say that she acted more like a human than elf sometimes….

Crawling to the edge she got a better look at them. They were moving, or rather kicking their small webbed feet around the edges of the pond, their bodies coated with thick layers of pure white feathers that reminded her of her mane yet instead of being drenched to the brim, it appeared dry and smooth. Their strange looking beaks pecking their wings and opening up a few moments later to spill out a rather and confusing honking noise...

…..

Lordaeron really was another world all together to have such thing wandering about…., perhaps this trip was not all that bad after all. Her ocean blue eyes followed with vivid attention the small forms of the creatures duckies as they tried to chirp and call out of the attention of their elders. Some even climbing over each other to reach that endeavour.

They looked adorable….

Could she get one back home? Catching them would be the easy part, that she knew after having ran after some of the cats that prowled the Spire….their nimble, furry bodies unable to remain away from her grasp for long, no matter how many balcony's they put of distance between them and her.

But, would her mother allow that..?

Her eyes flickered with some hope as they considered the idea as much as a young girl her age would. After all, they surely could not be worse than mana worms and leeches that prowled the country side…or Syls bat pet. With its ugly red eyes, sharp teeth and pedantic nature to screw anyone who wasn't their sister.

Speaking of which, how could she sleep soundly with that hanging over her head? It didn't make any sense. If it was her she would have a heart attack every time she opened her eyes only to be met with a hungering shadow barely a meter or two away from her.

She sighed, trying to put those thoughts away from her mind. Now, going back to the matter at hand….could she? She thought for a second, then another.

"Concentrate on the task and free your mind from unnecessary distractions. The path laid out for you is set, it can not tolerate such weaknesses from cracking the blade and leaving it dull...daughter"

Her brows furrowed slightly, features that had yet to be sharpened by the passing of time and the perils that it would carry thinned out with the ghost of a scowl as the words hanged by threads over her head.

….

In time she shook her head, weakly in defeat.

Nah, not a chance...the idea to propose her overly serious, strict and authoritative mother that she could gain something by including the creatures into the market as an excuse to allow her kept it would have the same effect as trying to hold a stampede by herself. In fact, she would have a better chance of success of the latter all things considered.

...What was that she said? Our blood is the one of soldiers, not merchants...we make commands not deals?…

There would be no room for negotiation, or argument to be made, just a quick and simple command. That was how it was...how it would always be. Only those who were exceptional were allowed to break the nitid walls of the box.

In that regard she had been born at least two thousand years too late.

...Well, at least I tried…

With a heavy sigh she slowly semi rose from her position, now mostly hunched with her knees against her chest. Her eyes resting over those shining and soft looking feathery wings for a few more seconds before-...

``See something you like...?´´

A voice whispered behind her ear. Soft, collected..yet with no small sense of humour tethering behind the imaginary lines as the words came out through a pair of lips, hanging in the air before the wind carried them away under their ethereal embrace..

But above all...one that she recognised with great clarity and certainty.

Her eyes started to widen. Time slowing down to a crawl, a stark contrast with the rapid, throbbing the sound of her heart pumping blood through her veins like crazy while her mind remained stuck with those four simple words.

"See something you like…?"

Her ears grew tense on the spot before twisting and perking to the side towards the source of the noise a second later even though by that time it was just the echo reverberating within like the rattling tail of a snake.

Wriggling backwards as much as they could when she felt a humid, yet warm breath brush against them unlike the cold winds that had brushed against her features until then. Catching up the sound of something shifting their weight behind her, stepping over the fallen leaves with almost immaculate silence had the soft clacking sound of metal clashing against metal not botched the act.

Before she knew what she was doing, she found herself sprung up from her hunched position to the side, slender looking muscles under the silk now flaring to their full potential as they pushed her body into a battle stance.

Well…, sprung would have been quite of a stretch given that just as she tried to put herself into motion, the muddy ground below her feet gave in, adding to that the lack of resistance of her footwear the fact that she saw her entire body to slip forward and fall on her ass moments before it happened was not pleasant at all…

And as she stood over the edge and with no good grasp over the humid ground that was now staining her backside did gravity decide to pull a fast one on her and drag her down. Her body skidding down, too fast for her to grab onto anything of use.

And so she rolled down...

A rather loud, undignified shriek companied her all the way until she reached a less sloping terrain. At first by the surprise still gripping her heart, then by the fact that the world started to spin around as she rolled down the slope all the way into the small pond below where she had been watching the animals swim by moments prior...

Splash….!

She wailed her arms around in panic, her voice carried out far and wide through the forest when she felt the cold water cling to her body and dampen her clothes, making them heavier than they should. Had anyone else heard it.., they would have thought someone was gutting a pig with a pair of pincers…

The ducks started quacking and flying in all directions, that funny honking noise filling the air around her like a thunderous storm, only growing in intensity when they started flapping their broad wings like whips. Specks of water splashing all around in their frantic, while some even managed to slap her left to rights either by accident or not when their wings collided with her face as they tried to flee from this shocking turn of events.

Who would blame them? Even as animals who could have been prepared to witness an oversized hairless thing decided to dive in such a loud manner in the middle of their tranquil time of leisure.

Not her…, but the sting she felt warming her cheeks wasn't nice either.

It was only when she realized that the frigid waters barely covered her knees and that she was not drowning that she tried to regain a sense of self. Tried, being the key word as he efforts were slowed down by the constant pumping of her heart against her pained chest. Ragged breathing struggling to come out her thin lips as the world stopped circling around and settle somewhat peacefully.…

And the goddammit smirk of a certain young lady who looked at her from where she had been a moment ago.

``Nice lungs sis…, I am pretty sure that everyone miles away have hear you loud and clear..´´

Said the eldest Windrunner, her voice never breaking from a cold and collected tone, neither carrying the haughtiness of succeeding with such a prank or surprise at her..display of vocal cords.

It felt as if she was stating a fact...

And how could she not when she was standing tall and proud over the slope. Clad in her signature heavy regalia, hands clutching the sides of her hips while her golden hair was dazzling her senses as some wayward beams of light peered through the cracks of the foliage and were reflected over the gilded, glinting hair she bore with so much pride.

She really had the looks of the Legend many made of her, the blue tattoos only adding a more fierce appearance to her.

Even if she had seen her so many times already, she would have been left a bit in awe had she not known that it was her "dearest" who had frightened her.

Alleria then slid down the slope with outmatched elegance and speed before jumping right next to her, she found in the need to shield herself from the splash as her sister entered the pond. By the time she looked up she was met with an offered hand. Alleria hunching to her level, not really caring the way how her cape or tabards got wet as her eyes were locked with hers.

It was only then that she realized that the mask she wore had fallen off for a moment as worry crossed under the depths of those eyes.

``Are you okay? It was not that high, but it was quite the fall...´´

``Nothing broken…., unlike my pride´´

She hissed scathingly, though it came out more like a harsh whisper than anything else as she grabbed onto those armoured fingers and stood up from the pool.

Her sisters brows narrowed a bit, a hint of amusement passing through as she took a step back to give her some space to maneuver out of the pond.

``You will survive it...´´

She scoffed at the response.

``Yeah, right...whatever you say sis..´´

Her lips became even more crooked with annoyance, her nose wriggling in disgust when she noticed her fingers intertwined with some sort of slimy seaweed. Did something started moving between them? She immediately started wailing her arm around in an effort to get rid of it.

Her sister easily avoiding any specks of filth that flew her way...

``Argh, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross, gross-…..´´

`It seems that those were muddier waters than they appeared at a first glance, nothing that a good bath wont fix though. Speaking of which, there is a river not even half a mile from here.´´

She almost forgot the still slimy sensation over her fingers as her neck tilted to the side faster than a ranger could fetch an arrow from a quiver. Staring deeply at her sister. A fact that caught her by surprise as she took an involuntary step back.

``Wh-what? Was there something I said….?´´

Yes...

Yes, there was something that she had said.

But perhaps it was the easy going way she had addressed that point that had startled her more than the entire point on itself.

``A bath? Are you crazy!? I would freeze in this weather before I have the time to say Beloore...!´´

``Well, when you are a ranger you have to do with what you have when it comes to work with our own hygiene. Or do you think there are first class baths deep in the forest when we feel like it..? If there are someone did not have the sportsmanship to share that secret with me..´´

If she was meant to find it funny she did not as she chimed in, pumping a fist in the air before hitting softly against the plated metal of her left pauldron. It did not much but leave a small smear over the cold, green coloured steel.

``Alleria…!´´

Her sister merely looked at her puzzled, rubbing her chin before she shook her head.

``Fine, fine...I did not word it the best way. Still.., given that you are already drenched to the bones I don't think it would make much of a difference..I believe you would rather be cold and clean, than cold and dirty..´´

``Why y-..I am like these because of you, you big oaf! For Belorees sake, how many times I have told you not to jump at me from behind!? Six? Ten times...?´´

A flicker of guilt crossed her sisters features again, though this time is a lot dimmer than before.

``Sorry…, couldn't help myself..´´

``My heart noticed, thanks by the way...´´

Alleria crossed her arms around her plated chest, her guilty expression wiped away as it gave way to a more stern one.

Oh, she knew that one…

She was gonna try lecture her, and she would not have to wait long.

``Well, if someone would have been paying more attention to her surroundings it may not have happened in the first place. By all merits you would be dead right where you stand had it been not me...´´

And there it was, the lecture of the day….

``Remember sister, we are merely guests in this land….the forest are not ours alone to make use only because we know how to navigate through them. Monsters, bandits..they too crawl and wander around around us so wouldn't it be sensible and logical to be ready? For any eventuality instead than marvelling at the sights?´´

She said sternly, her lips wrapping with amusement however.

``How many times I have told you that...?´´

She sighed, her shoulders slumping downwards. Whether she liked or not...she knew that she was right.

She was always right….

``A few too many times...´´

`` It seems someone is a slow learner...´´

``Quiet you! The only danger to my health at this very moment in time is yourself...´´

``A very mild and caring threat then...´´´

...Mild? Sis, you literally are a Legendary champion who can best ten Trolls with your bare hands! In which part of that title is there room for mild and caring threat?…

That was what she wanted to say. Though she wisely decided to keep that to herself. Alleria did not seem to notice.

``Speaking of threats…, why were you strolling around unarmed and unprotected? I recall that you at least had a knife and bow at the camp..´´

``Because there are no threats around..?´´ ….And just wanted to explore..?….

``Debatable, and the second…?´´

``Armour makes you slower.., and it rattles all around when I move. Kind of a silly way to give out your position..´´

``Armour saves your life…and if it rattles is because you have not secured tightly the different pieces as they should. And though is not comfortable to carry them all day, a shirt of silk is not gonna do much against the puncturing force of a blade..or some bear claws..´´.

...A bear? Really sister? Those are merely human legends, everyone knows there are not bears in Quelthalas...

``Well, excuse me Lord Bane of doors and common sense for not carrying any war-gear with me since you know...I am still in my teens and I am forbidden from carrying anything as such within our kingdom without the right supervision, let alone a different one..!´´

Alleria merely pouted, brushing aside a stray lock of golden hair from her eyes as she stared at her.

``You hurt me sis, do our family bonds mean nothing to you..?´´

``Nice try sis, you want to know something better? Paragraph nine hundred and seven of the codex of Royal edicts..; No individual under the age of one hundred will carry military gadgets within or outside the royal territory without the proper over-watch of their parents or tutors under the right circumstances´´

``And this trip of ours does not make you think that this may be such time..?´´

Vereesa cocked her head to the side, pressing her arms against her chest as she sent a glare at her eldest sister.

``You think..?´´

``I see that Sylvanas did give you her books about law and order when I told her not to...yet´´

She said, though it sounded more like a mumble to herself than anything else.

``That girl..., for someone who works as hard as she does she really acts lazy on certain aspects. Does she think that she can twist things around and get through the loopholes of our society with a scheme here and there? For someone who aspires to uphold the law she really likes to break it..´´

``Didn't mother say that the best warrior was the one that was able to act efficiently without being caught?´´

Alleria rolled her eyes, sighing tiredly before placing one of her hands over her shoulder. The metal of her talons was cold as they brushed against her skin, but she had already a quick bath so it was mostly ignored.

``That is not… the point I was trying to make..´´

``Why so?´´

Alleria sighed.

``Mother has her ways, but she should try to not teach us things that would clash with the norms of our society. If there is a problem you should not lit up a fire even if that way is more efficient in the long way, there are procedures to take into consideration and people who are more qualified to work such issues...´´

``We are problems solvers, but is not our duty to solve every problem our people have for them...they have to grow on their own, face their own perils and trials. How else would they become stronger´´

``Syl would argue about that...´´

Alleria rolled her eyes, huffing with annoyance. Clearly not happy about that, but her eyes clearly showed that she was remembering something.

``Sylvanas would and that does not diminish the fool out of her, more even when she tries to imitate mother…, though if its not by her own initiative or desire to please her is not of my knowledge´´

``Syl is many things, but a fool is not one of them..she doesn't put all the eggs in one basket´´ As far as she knew...

``No, she breaks everyone else basket and makes thing end up with her own been the one chosen for the golden goose..´´

….Well, if you look it that way….

``As far as I know she is quite good at it, and has not been caught...´´

``Yet..´´

The way she spoke that single word felt that she was stating a fact rather than a prediction, which was fair given who they were talking about and Who was speaking to her.…their views and methods had always been clear to see how different they were to approach a certain matter. A direct or more crafted take…, actions carried by authority against words held by power and ambition to carry them out.

Like Day and Night...

The Sun and the Moon...

Though why did she feel that something else was at play?

It started to feel like this surprise trip to the human kingdom with only the presence of her eldest sister was merely a backdoor for something...deeper. Not for prying eyes.

She could not help but step forward, a small fang chewing her lips as she tried to think in better things..

``You are overreacting...´´

A pained smile was her reply.

``I wish…, sometimes I envy that s-..kind look at things that you have sister´´

``Jealous? You..?´´

She sputtered shocked. She obviously had to have heard wrong because there was no way in heaven and hell that there was anything redeemable of her that would make others jealous of her.

Like really, what was she about? She was the Golden sun! The Troll Vanquisher and Living legend that held weapons as great as her and soon to be General of Quelthalas when the time went right. While her only accomplishments pale in comparison, summarised on the fact that she shared the same name and blood like them.

``What I would do to be young and free again…, perhaps there is still time..´´

``Lady Sun?´´

Alleria shook her head, trying to dispel whatever worries were assailing her. By the looks of it she had not succeed much.

It was...a strange sight.

`` Remember sis. Those that try to control everything tend to find the thing of their attention slipping through their fingers. Focus on one task before proceeding to the next, and though is good to listen to others...you alone must take your own decisions. Y-..´´

Alleria pulled back her hand from her shoulder, whatever she was about to say only known to the armoured clad blond ranger as she changed the topic.

``Nothing, you are too young to understand. Still is not a waste of books though, perhaps before long you would know every single one of them and be able to remind Lady Moon what she is doing wrong and help her get back on track...´´

The ghost of a smile warped around those stiff lips of her sister.

Was that a jest? If it was it clearly surpassed Syls own bad taste…, such occurrence surely had to come through the blood.

…..

Gods, was she going to become one like them!? The thought filled her with fright.

``I would rather not, pardon me sister but there are so many...and contradictory that makes my head spin. I would barely have enough life spam to list them all..let alone comprehend them. Are you sure they were not written by a child..?´´

``That is the willy nilly, humongous structural disposition of our society to make everything harder than it should be alright..´´

``Humongous? What is-...´´

She began to say, but Alleria cut her in just as she was mid sentence.

``Nothing you have to worry about.., yet..´´

Added her sister at the end wryly, though her eyes glinted with contained amusement. Vereesa scoffed at the sight, but did not pursue any further that line of thought. Preferring to switch to another less..opposed to.

``Fine, keep your grown up secrets. I have better things to do than listen to that...´´

``Clearly…that has been proven alright´´

She ignored the way those lips hid a smirk below., or how her eyes could not fight that involuntarily show of condescension in their depths. The pride that was an inherently part of their family flaring up as they locked sights with hers like one would do to a child.

She was a child though, but that was not the point...

``Still, I doubt that Syl would care much. Words have power and meaning behind them, yes.., but she prefers to wield the big stick, you know..?´´

``Yeah…, but there is no helping that I am afraid...´´

She blinked, looking with a shred of confusion at the gallant ranger.

``Which one? Her or the laws...?´´

``Yes…´´

She snorted, bemused at the reply as she placed her hands over her hips.

``Have I ever told you that you are not good with words..?´´

``Quite a few times...´´

``It seems that someone is kind of a slow learner….´´

``You were never so snippy when you were younger, don't tell me you are entering your age?´´

``You were never so cranky before, don't tell me you are getting old in your age..?´´

``Oh? now those are bold words for someone so small..´´

``What? You want me to bring a chair so that you hear me better?´´

``Quack!´´

It had been a small, wayward sound that had barely register in their heads amidst their voices ...and yet it was enough to silence the both of them on the spot.

Turning around and looking down at their feet they were met with one of the smaller residents of the pond before her arrival. Its small frame barely bigger than the size of her hand. Black onyx eyes looking at the two of them from a sea of white as it quacked loudly at them. Pecking at her sisters cape, tugging it.., but falling over as its small legs could not hold him well enough.

A second passed, then another before the two could not help but burst out in laughter. At each others idiocy as-well as what had been necessary to break them off that silly argument. Soon enough the two of them walked away from there. The mirth of their voices carried away by the wind like the leaves of winter.

ºº

-Back to the present-

ºº

Her eyes were stuck on the fallen form of a ghoul rendered inert over the shallow depths of a small pond of water. Part of a shaft coming out from the back of its head like a feathery antenna, explaining where its true death had taken him before he had even realize where it had come from in the first place.

The black ooze coming out from the open cavity very perceptible, not when there was something brighter to focus on...like its maws.

Drenched in a healthy shade of scarlet, still dripping down onto the pond before it became diluted as-well over what little water remained.

It was not her own or anyone else as far as she knew…, something that had been reinforced if one noticed the stained white feathers stuck between its teeth...

Her heart beat started to rang slower, a coldness spreading in her guts as she slowly holstered back her bow and the additional arrow she had fetched from her quiver in case it would have not been enough to fell it.

``Vere…?´´

A voice called out to her, but it went unnoticed. Nothing more than background noise as her hands started clenching tightly, a bitter taste filling her mouth as her sight became blurry as the past and present mixed distorting the lines of what was real.

Seeing the two of them walking up the slope and sparring with the blades her sister had kept hidden behind her back until that very moment.

A memory of winter, and yet it felt like the summer….

``Vere.., are you alright?´´

It was that moment that she finally paid attention to the voice calling out to her. Slowly turning around until she was met with a much worried Liadrin. The red haired priestess having approached her in the mist of those memories.

Her brilliant radiance casting a wave of normality in this now solemn and broken scenery. Though unlike last time she was now keeping a distance from her.

``What….?´´

She asked, almost dragging out the words as her eyes observed a single white feather floating above her head, the wind carrying it on its embrace before softly falling to the ground when it changed directions.

Something inside her prompting her to hunch down and grab it.

Liadrin looked at her with a confused, quizzical expression...

She knew very well what she was about to say, that it would require a response that she could already imagine in her mind. Her voice not denoting nothing of how that single piece of rotten meat had upset her more than anything else...

``You were walking fine for a moment before you stopped and had this one thousand mile glare...´´

Had she? The thought making her pause for a moment, perhaps longer than it needed to be as it gave way to another intrusion. Though this time, it did not came from outside...

"The path laid out for you is set, it can not tolerate such weaknesses from cracking the blade and leaving it dull...daughter"

"You have learnt nothing, still getting lost in thoughts in the middle of a war zone... you would be dead right where you stand had it been not her..."

She grimaced. A rather judgemental little pair they made. Another aspect they shared beside been very much dead.

``Is there something wrong..?´´

She felt a hand tug her shoulder, golden like metal digits squeezing it the metal of the pauldron softly, but not forcing her to look at their owner. She did so anyway, face lined with the obvious strain of the question.

…..

``Vere...?´´

Vereesa closed her eyes, a tired sigh leaving through her lips. Her face creasing with lines which transformed her expression from a passive, melancholic one to a passionate vicious facade. Waving a hand to dismiss her friends worries, even if the gesture lacked the will to carry the message to good port.

``Nothing, nothing is wrong. I was.. just lost in thought for a moment. Come on..we have much to do..´´

I had noticed that for a character so important, at least in the emotional spectrum of the remaining sister's grief Alleria had taken some sort of a back seat. This is not much, but at least it will shed some light on how the philosophies between the daughters and their mother did clashed.

Given that there are animals that most humans have never seem in their lifetime, it would not have been quite of a stretch for the isolationist elves to not recognise some of the local wildlife of the neighbours kingdom. Funny enough I investigated and ducks for some reason have been absent for most of the games history, why? I don't know.

Vereesa was looking at swans...

I will try to make the chapters from now on be slightly more shorter, trying to avoid the 10 or 8k chapter and more focus in 5 to 6 k. It will make the updates a lot faster and less brain consuming. It will also help since I am feeling a bit..sick.

I hope you enjoy this one too and see you in the next.
