Don't Hate Me:

Kendall's weekend plans slightly changed due to the attack that Friday, however she was still able to spend time with Kick alone at her place for a small date. Her body was slightly sore from the attack, but she was okay as she enjoyed being with Kick. Although, she knew things were still rocky with Gunther and Jackie, as Jackie hadn't talked to anyone the next following days. She wouldn't even respond to Kendall, wondering how she was, or telling her that things needed to be cleared up between her and Gunther. Kendall was worried.

The others, though, sadly expected this. Gunther dreading it as he didn't like the fact she hated him. It hurt. Kendall still tried to tell them it wasn't fear, however, they didn't much listen. That Monday evening, the three knew what they had to do.

"Call me back…please." Kendall tried phoning Jackie, but was disappointed to get her voicemail again. Kick noticed as he came out of her kitchen, bringing out some drinks for the two of them. He sat on her couch, a somewhat saddened look aimed towards her.

"Nothing?" He questioned. Kendall shook her head.

"No…" Kendall replied, sitting next to him.

"It's okay, we…we were prepared for this." Kick told her. "Gunther knows what…what he has to do." Kick explained, swallowing and letting out a small breath. Kendall glanced at him with that.

"What do you mean? What's he going to do?" She asked.

"It's obvious she's afraid of us." Kick informed. "He's just…going to let her have the space she needs, and hopefully that might help." He continued. "All of us are prepared to give her the space she needs." Kendall's eyes widened.

"He's not going to break up with her is he?" Kendall didn't like this at all. Kick just looked down, letting out a heavy breath. "He…no…he can't do that." Kendall tried to argue. "She's not afraid, please he…he has to talk to her. He can't break up with her, that….that'll only make things worse."

"Kends…" Kick stared up at her, holding her arms. "Look, I love that you and Jackie are close. And we won't get in the way of that. However, she is afraid of us. You can see it in how she reacted, especially now." Kendall swallowed. How much she hated that promise. She wanted to tell them it wasn't what they thought. But she promised Jackie and she was going to keep it. "We have to keep our distance." He added. "Then…maybe she…she might be able to still be our friend, in the end…" He concluded. Kendall just let out a breath, looking down.

"I promise you guys…it's really not what you think." She whispered, Kick just stared at her. "She just….she loves Gunther…" Kendall breathed sitting back on the couch with Kick, as they watched a bit of TV.

All Jackie could think about was the attack and finding out everything, especially with Gunther. When she got into her home, she couldn't even make it to her bedroom before she broke down. She cried for two days straight, being that she couldn't get over the fact Gunther might now be with some "vampyra" or "vampiress." 'Whatever you called a female beautiful vampire…' She thought. She hated it. She knew Kendall, even Brianna tried to contact her, but she just couldn't get over this stuff. It was too painful. Her heart was broken and she just wanted to know why she wasn't good enough.

As Monday night came, and Jackie stepped out of the shower, she couldn't help but look in the mirror at her reflection. She stared at her brown short hair, picking up a few pieces examining it. She assumed maybe that her hair didn't suit Gunther's liking because it was brunette. Kind of dull, slight frizz and wave, maybe he didn't like the length, which it was just a few centimeters past her shoulders. It wasn't very short, but maybe he liked that long blonde hair. A style similar to Sally's or Teena's. That beach, wavy, long blonde hair. She stared at her eyes, her glasses being off, before looking at her glasses. She thought maybe he didn't like that she wore glasses still. She could try contacts, she always wondered what they be like. It be nice to show off her mix of amber/green eyes, though maybe he likes blue eyes. A solid color, only.

The next feature she examined were her breasts. She didn't unwrap her towel, but even she knew, just because she had one bra that was a C, to which she only barely fit into it, didn't mean she wasn't…small. Heck even some of her B bras she didn't really fit, because the cup was a bit big. She pegged that on design and style of the bra, however it only emphasized her point that she was small, whereas the girls he liked, weren't. She could wear push-ups, but in the end that still wouldn't be real. It probably wouldn't turn him on, unless she changed her size. She swallowed. Maybe the reason he didn't get turned on, that he still went for his…fans…was because she really didn't have anything worthwhile to look at. Yeah, she knew she had some hips, and maybe an ass, but it probably wasn't what he wanted.

And the most upsetting thing about all of this. She was a human. The girls he was into were these super natural beauties that he obviously wanted more than her. They turned him on more than she did. They knew what to do when it came to what he liked whether this was sexually, physically or whatever. She couldn't compare with that. She let out a breath, as a few more tears came down her face. She had cried this whole time and her eyes were a bit swollen still, even after the shower she just had. She wiped her tears, putting her pajamas on. They were just simple shorts and a long sleeved shirt. She placed the smaller towel she had around her neck as she walked into her bedroom. She laid down on her bed, curling up, seeing as all she could think about was that she wasn't enough, and even if she did try, really try to be enough, it might not matter. However, it didn't stop her from still feeling the pain of all those thoughts, especially since she loved Gunther so much.

She heard a knock at her window, which caused her to glance over. She was surprised but also conflicted seeing Gunther on the window seal.

"Can I come in?" Gunther questioned, his own voice a little hoarse. Jackie got up from her bed, nodding as he stepped in. She walked around her bed, but kept to her own side, since she didn't know where things stood anymore. He also stayed on his side, near the window, not wanting to make her more afraid then she already was. "I'll…." He breathed. "I'll make this quick…since…" He stared at her. "I'm sure you….you don't want to be near me." She looked down, holding herself. "I know what happened….on Friday it's still…" He started. "That you're…." He let out another breath. "I know that Friday is still heavily on your mind." He spoke. "And what we told you." He continued. "I know it's a lot to process…that you…that you weren't….expecting us…me….to be…." He mentioned. She glanced up at him. "But I just…I just want you to know, it's okay that you…that you're afraid." He admitted.

She gave him a curious look with that statement. 'Afraid?' Her mind wondered. 'Afraid of losing him….yes….does….does this mean I haven't?' She questioned. 'Does he still…do I still have a chance?' she continued in her thoughts.

"But…I …" He couldn't help but feel more pain, knowing that this was hard, and where this was leading. "But I…I don't want you to have to worry or be afraid…not anymore…" He told her. "That's why…why I think it will be best until…until you're ready…we'll give you the space you need." He explained.

"We'll?" She didn't know what that meant. "…space…." Her mind trying to process what he meant by that. 'Is he…I thought with what he said…then does this mean…' She thought, her mind starting to race. 'Would he…if I was like them would he…'

"Yes…" He was quiet as he spoke to her. "Kick, Brianna….our friends….even me…." He let out. "We're going to give you the space you need….so you…so that you can…so it will help." He informed.

"Help?" She inquired. 'If what…if I'm getting this…he's….leaving…how does that help?' She wanted to cry again, holding herself tighter as her mind was beginning to process his words more. However, she also didn't want to break down more, so she had to try to keep from crying. He noticed, which caused him to look down.

"Yes, help." He replied. "We don't…" He breathed. "We don't want you to be afraid of us…so I…I think it's best."

"You think I'm afraid of you?" She asked, in disbelief. "Why would I…" Her voice was quiet. "But…but you're breaking up with me…." She was seriously trying hard not to cry, but her voice was cracking.

"Jackie…it's obvious you're afraid of us." Gunther commented. "You…you don't have to pretend….pretend that you're not." He was still hurt by this. She gave him a questioning look, at the fact he kept going back to that. "You…you don't want…to be around us...around me" He added, the last part quietly, but she still heard it. "And that's okay..." He glanced down a bit. "That's why…I'll….I'll give you the space you need." He breathed out. "That's….that's all I wanted to say." He turned, getting ready to leave. She stared wide eyed at him.

"No…don't!" Before he knew it, he felt her embrace him from behind. He glanced behind him.

"Jackie…" He didn't know why she was doing this, especially since he knew she was afraid.

"Please…please you can't leave me…you can't…I…." She couldn't help it as the tears came down her cheeks. "I know…I know I'm not like them, I know…but I can try…I can change…but please…" She pleaded. He gave her a curious look with that.

"Jackie, what do you…" He continued to question.

"I can be what you want…the kind of girl…you want…I can try…I just…don't leave me, please. I love you." He turned to face her, shocked by a few things she said.

"Jackie, what are you talking about?" He asked, now even more confused by her words. He wiped some of her tears when she looked up at him, but she went to hug him again, causing him to fall back a bit. He sat on the floor holding her. "Jackie…" She breathed into his embrace.

"I'm….I'm not afraid of you." She started. "I'm afraid of losing you…" She admitted. "That…that I already have…to some vampiress or…" He stared at her still shocked, especially by what she just said.

"Why…why would you lose me Jackie?" He inquired. "I….I don't understand now…" Jackie swallowed, being silent for a bit, still keeping her head on his chest. "Jackie?" He made her look up at him, still wiping the tears she had. She let out a breath, glancing down.

"I'm not like…I'm not like your fans…"She confessed. "I'm not….I'm not your type…I'm not like Sally or Teena or any of them." She continued. "I'm not blonde or beautiful…or…" She bit the inside of her cheek. "Curvy or know how to…" She gulped again. "I'm not what you want…but I can try and be…I just…"

"Jackie, where the hell are you getting that I don't want you?" He further questioned, still completely in awe at what she was saying, even more shocked as to why she was saying it. "Why would….why would you think you're not my type?"

"Because….because I don't turn you on…" She finally answered. He was taken aback by this, however he couldn't help but chuckle slightly at that. She looked up at him. "Gunther…" She didn't like that he was laughing at her, when she wanted to break because she felt she was losing him.

"Jackie…I…." He finally let out, interrupting her. "I really don't know where you're getting this from." He was curious. "Why do you think you don't turn me on? Which by the way is farther from the truth." He told her. She blushed hard, glancing away, before letting out another breath being that she was silent, and Gunther was caressing her cheek to help her.

"It's been over a year…" She came out, feeling embarrassed, but knew Kendall was right. They needed to talk about this.

"Trust me, Jackie. I know." He nodded. She glanced up at him.

"But you…." She breathed out. "When we kiss…that's…that's all you do…" She told him, which got him listening. "I…I know I'm not experienced... and that sex is still a long ways for me, but….but I thought…." She was trying to find the right way to explain this, feeling even more sheepish about it. "I know…I know you were taking it slow for me…but I just…I thought…especially because of these last few months….that you lost interest or…maybe just…didn't like me that way." She responded. "I thought…because you…you always would stop when we would start to get a little more intimate in our kissing… that maybe…maybe I wasn't…that you didn't want me." She finished explaining, looking down. "I didn't…that night…Kendall and I…we talked about it…so when you saved me…I just couldn't stop thinking….I couldn't help but think…you might not….that you were hiding more from me…" She admitted. Gunther couldn't believe what he heard, but he knew this was his doing. He made her believe that he didn't want her, which was not even remotely true, all because he was trying to control himself. He made her look at him.

"Jackie I love you." Gunther confessed. "I would never…." He shook his head. "I would never cheat on you. Even more, you're the only one I want, Jackie. I'm sorry I made you believe I didn't." He caressed her cheek, she leaned into his palm, keeping her eyes locked with his. He had a small smirk. "You have to know I didn't mean to make you think like that…it's just you made things hard." He told her. "That if I didn't stop and control myself, I don't know what I would have done, especially as of late with certain events." He commented. "You're always so cute, I love your reactions, and you just… you make it hard to stay in control Jackie."

"Gunther…" She whispered, loving his touch, but not believing what she heard. It made her happy nonetheless. He pressed his lips to hers lightly, before pulling away.

"So, because I would stop, you started to think that I didn't want you?" He kept his small smirk. She blushed hard.

"I…It's not…I just…well I um…" She stumbled out, feeling more embarrassed now. "I just knew you had experience…and I didn't….and when you would stop…well…" She swallowed. "I...I admit it...it was really embarrassing to talk about this...which is why I...didn't know how..." She added, her face growing redder. "Plus...I just….I didn't understand because well…." She was getting redder, and he knew what she was trying to say.

"You wanted more?" He finished for her. She thought her cheeks were on fire now, but did a simple nod.

"I'm sorry…" She wanted to apologize, knowing this was all a complete misunderstanding now. He just shook his head, kissing her again.

"Don't apologize." He whispered, his breath hot near her, and tone sending chills down her spine. "I'm glad you want me. And am glad that you don't hate me." He added. "I'm happy that you love me." She swallowed again when he said all that. "Because I want you and love you a lot too." He admitted. That got her heart racing. "Maybe it is time, for some things to change…" He continued in a quiet voice, kissing her again.

"Gunther…" She gasped out when he let her breathe. Her heartrate increasing even more, her breathing becoming heavier, and she figured her cheeks were going to be bright red the whole night.

"Is your mom home?" He asked after releasing her lips.

"No…she's been gone on business for the last few days." She replied. "She'll be back in a few days though…" He smirked.

"Good." He responded. "I think it's time, I give you what you want." He confessed, which got her heart skipping a beat hearing that.

He picked her up, carefully, laying her on her bed, as he pressed his lips to hers again, loving the feel of them. They were soft, plump and sweet. The kiss started to deepen as he tasted more of her. She just sank further into it, her hands on his chest as she allowed herself to enjoy it, her air being taken away from her. He released her lips again, sitting up and taking off his shirt. Her eyes widening when he did that as she wasn't expecting him to do that. He brought her up to him, gently, to kiss her lips again, before going for the hem of her shirt and lifting it up. He was careful and gentle with her, not only because he wanted to give her light touches when things would pick up to test the waters, but also because of her bruising. She thought her face was going to be on fire the whole time as he removed her shirt. It was a natural reaction for her to cover herself as he laid her back down. She felt embarrassed by what she had.

"Gunther…" She let out again, however he only caressed her cheek, pecking her lips before going to her ear.

"Let me see." His voice was quiet, hot and husky against her ear. She was finding it harder to breathe.

"But…" She wanted to argue.

"Jackie, look at me." He guided her to look at him, their faces inches from each other, before he lifted up just slightly. "You're beautiful ok. Nothing about you isn't amazing, gorgeous or sexy…" The way he said that last word she thought she'd faint. "I love you Jackie, you are completely beautiful and everything I want." He confessed. She let out a breath, letting him move her hands, placing them on the sides of her head. He kissed her again, and she felt his body heat against her bare skin. She gasped into the kiss as she couldn't believe that this was happening.

He began to kiss down her neck, sucking on certain points around her pulse. Her breathing was getting shallow as it was getting harder to breathe now, her mind becoming clouded with the activity they were doing. All she could do was focus on the feel of his lips descending past her neck to her chest. He was gentle in how he proceeded, his hand going to one of her breasts. It made her gasp out, as he never done that before, but it felt strange to her. It felt new. His fingers were warm and she didn't think it would cause her to react the way she did. She has touched her own breast before, being that she always wondered if they would grow, or just to check on them. However, this felt completely different. His touch sent shivers down her spine as he continued to tweak and massage them. She really thought she might pass out now, as her breathing increased more along with her heartrate. It was getting hard to breathe, hotter, and she felt completely dizzy.

His lips continued to trail small kisses down her chest until he reached her mounds. There, while he played with one in his hand, he took the other into his mouth. It earned him a breathy moan and gasp from her, which enticed him more. He let his tongue flick a few times across her peak, which he loved the reactions he got from that as well, as he continued. He sucked on her mound, before moving to the other, switching how each breast got attention. He used his mouth on her other breast, his hand moving to the other, giving it the same attention he gave the previous. She was gasping as he did all of that to her, her breathing practically gone. She could hardly focus, her mind in a haze. He let his lips trail up again, when he was done, nipping and sucking at her neck and ear, before trailing up to her lips. She hadn't realized until he kissed her again, their bodies getting closer that she felt something hot and hard against her. It surprised her, given he was in between her legs and things were getting really intimate now.

When she gasped, upon feeling him, he had to stop. Things were getting a bit more serious, and he wanted to have a lot more control. He needed to have a lot more control. He was surprised he made it this far with her, being he felt things could have easily gone out of control for him, especially with how she was responding.

"Gunther….are we….you're…." She looked up at him, not sure if she could do everything now. She was curious to how far they would go. But she was in such a daze, breathless, and very dizzy now, she wasn't sure if it came out right. He just smiled at her, kissing her forehead.

"Don't worry." He assured her. "I think it's best we stop now…" He confessed. "Best to take this a bit slowly…" He got off from on top of her and laying down next to her. He played with her hair a little, causing her to blush, as she nodded. He went to get his shirt that was on the floor. She gave him a curious look.

"Um… do you….do you have to…. go home?" She asked, still trying to catch her breath. He looked back at her, still keeping that smile that was making her melt, and feel even more embarrassed for what she wanted to ask. She tried to swallow. He laid back down with her, putting his shirt back on the floor.

"I don't have to." He replied. Her cheeks felt like they weren't going to cease being on fire that night.

"Do you…you can stay….I mean you…don't have to…" She swallowed. "But…you can spend the night…if you want." He kissed her forehead again.

"You shouldn't ask a vampire such a dangerous thing." He slyly repeated. She bit her lip. "But I'll stay. I don't mind at all." He brought her closer to him in an embrace as they laid together. She let out a heavenly sigh, cuddling up more into his arms, loving the warmth. He smiled at her action as they laid down. "And you're really not afraid of me?" He had to ask. She shook her head.

"You saved me Gunther. You and Kick saved us." She stared up at him. "How can I be afraid of you, when you protected me?" She confessed. "I love you Gunther." She let her head lay on his chest. "I'm just sorry my thoughts went really… crazy…"

"I told you, don't be sorry." He responded. "I'm just happy you don't fear me. That you love me." He held her closer, as she started to let herself drift, loving the warmth. "Because I love you. And I'm completely happy. You really have no idea." He smiled as he thought about it, kissing the top of her forehead again, going to sleep with her.

(**)

Kick and Kendall were on the couch, Kendall going in and out of sleep from the movie they were watching. He got an interesting thought, which made him get his phone and text his sister, a smile on his face. He glanced at Kendall, who looked at him as he did that.

"You were right." He mused. "You knew she wasn't afraid of us." Kendall got a curious look.

"Did Gunther..." She wondered.

"Things are going to be fine." Kick assured. "Trust me." He held her close. "You two really are something you know that. Accepting us and everything." He let out a breath. "You girls, I swear we don't deserve you." He admitted. Kendall had a small smile.

"How do you think we feel?" She asked. He let out a few small chuckles, before pulling her up to kiss him, the two staying in each other's embrace as she drifted off to sleep with him on the couch, and him placing the throw blanket over them.
