Tsuyu has seen enough Xanax in her life to know that whatever Kyouka's holding between her bony fingers is fake.

She doesn't like parties, but it's not really a party. It's a few of her old classmates getting high on the couch while a group of girls stand idly and watch them.

She's huddled in a corner with Setsuna, Yui, Kyouka, Momo and Itsuka. Ochako had to work tonight, otherwise she'd be standing around, doing nothing with them too. Momo shifts her seat on Itsuka's lap and tilts her head to the side, ponytail swinging with her. Even in the dim light of Tsuburaba's basement, she can see that the bar's been tampered with.

"Don't take that," she tells her.

Kyouka brushes her bangs out of the way to blink at Tsu. "Why not?"

Izuku's by the door, talking to Shinsou and Todoroki. He keeps fidgeting with his hands and shuffling his sneakers on the dirty tile. He looks like he's in desperate need of something. Both Shinsou and Todoroki are impassive as ever, hands tucked into their deep pockets.

Tsu's been making dodgy eye contact with him all night. After their gazes meet for another brief moment, she blinks and turns back to Kyouka, who's now scrolling through a playlist on her phone.

"I don't think it's real." she murmurs.

"No way?" Setsuna says, plucking the bar out of Kyouka's fingers. "Who gave you this?"

"Denki said he got it from Tsuburaba." Kyouka shrugs, eyes still fixed on her screen.

After bringing it up close to her seaweed green eyes, Setsuna pelts it across the room. "Tsuburaba, your shit is bunk."

Tsuburaba pulls away from the purple bong in his face to stare up at them, expression dazed. "Says who?"

Setsuna doesn't even bother giving him a response. "Let's get the fuck out of here," she says, swirling a set of keys around her finger.

"Yeah, let's go." Kyouka says, swiping out of her soundcloud profile. Tsu catches the time on her phone before she tucks it into her back pocket.

The rest of the girls shuffle out after her. Tsu brushes past Izuku and ignores his meek apology on her way out the doorway.

When they're all outside, disregarding the boys' questions of where they're going and spurring them to stay just a while longer, Tsuyu frowns in the humid darkness of Tsuburaba's street corner. It's too late for either of her siblings to still be awake, no one would open the door for her if she went home now. She bites her lip before lightly tapping Setsuna's shoulder.

"Can I crash at yours for the night?" she mumbles. She'd usually spend the night at Ochako's, but she doesn't feel like walking alone this late.

"Oh, my gosh." Setsuna looks back at her like Tsu's offended her by even asking. "Duh."
