What's Needed:

After that long three day weekend, the girls were still sore from all the bruising they had. Plus the boys weren't healing even after a day of Gunther's cousins, Astrid and Karina trying everything they could think of, and Aunt Sally doing what she could. Their wounds were just far beyond their powers and unfortunately there wasn't any medicines or herbs that could help either. This poison that was in their system was one they didn't know how to treat. They needed the advice or the aid of their mothers.

As school started back up, things weren't as normal as Brianna had hoped, but she tried to make it be, as the few days passed, even though the boys couldn't come to school. Mrs. Fitzpatrick and the Principal understood completely, excusing their absences. Kendall and Jackie got the missing assignments for the boys, however the guilt and concern over the boys still consumed them, as they felt the incident was on them. They all met up at lunch as that Friday came, the week going by both slowly and quickly to the girls. The weather nice as it wasn't raining, but it was still overcast.

"Brianna, are they getting any better?" Nicolette questioned as they all sat around, starting to eat some of their lunch, the girls somewhat paying attention to the conversation, but mostly stayed quiet during these conversations, seeing as it always resulted the same.

"Still, no." Brianna shook her head. "And with the fact my mom and Gunther's not being able to come back for another two and half weeks due to this thing in London, I'm unsure of how exactly to help them until then."

"We've been over this," Mouth mentioned. "You went through every herb and medicine your families have in position, plus Gunther's cousins and your Aunt Sally did all they could." He added. "I don't think there's really much else they can do." He let out. Brianna just gave him a look with that.

"The fact they're not getting any better though…" Teena glanced.

"The fact this poison is unlike anything they ever had before." Scarlet folded her arms thinking about.

"All true, but Gunther and my brother are doing I think a lot better than they were in the beginning." Brianna countered, though her voice still had a tone.

"It still doesn't mean it's any better." Kendall finally came in, everyone looked at her.

"She's right, they both still have high fevers, and aren't doing well." Jackie added. "Plus with the fact their missing school. None of that is good."

"Maybe, but I know my cousin Kick and his friend Gunther, and both are determined, strong, and can get through anything." Kyle spoke up. "So you two have nothing to worry about and should just focus for now on school. Also you know they are really awesome, so they'll overcome this like it was nothing because it's in our families' blood and…." He was speaking fast again and continuing on.

"Ow, Kyle!" The girls yelped, which caused him to stop, and Brianna to smack him upside the head. He hadn't realized he grabbed them by the wrist and somewhat by their hands, in excitement, as he was talking. He had a concerned and apologetic expression.

"Kendall, Jackie, I'm so sorry." He gulped.

"Kyle, be more careful damnit." Brianna shot him a glare, while the girls were rubbing their wrists. He nodded. Brianna just shook her head. "Idiot…" She muttered. Loraina let out a small breath, before glancing at her.

"So this means nothing can be done, until yours mom come back…" She raised an eyebrow.

"Or we come up with an idea just as good that they will accept." Brianna responded.

"Right, makes sense." Scarlet breathed. "And sounds like them."

"Of course it does." Teena rolled her eyes. Jackie and Kendall glanced at each other as they listened to how Teena said that, her tone having its effect on both of them as they still listened to the conversation. Parts of it going a bit off topic, but mostly being about how nothing at the moment could be done. When lunch ended, the girls weren't sure how to feel about going home after school. They wanted to know how to help. As the school day ended they decided to go over to the boys' places, wanting to help care for them in the meantime. Kendall and Brianna went up to Kick's room. He glanced up when they knocked and came in.

"Hey, you get some rest?" Brianna went over to one of his dressers, grabbing his water and pill bottle that was on top of it. She let out a silent breath. Kendall went to grab the tray that had his breakfast, taking it out and leaving briefly before coming back in.

"I got enough…" He responded. Brianna quirked an eyebrow. 'As much as I can…' He thought, which Brianna let out a small huff at. 'I'm assuming Gunther was the same way?' She questioned in her head. He nodded.

"Right…" She let out, as she gave him the water and bottle, Kendall noticing. She noticed how low the pills were, knowing it was his blood tablets. Brianna glanced at it as he gulped it down when it was all dissolved. "I can bet another thing as well…" She didn't want to say too much knowing her brother.

"You be right on that." He replied. "I'm assuming Mouth is with Jackie and Gunther again." He gave her the empty water bottle and pill bottle.

"Yes." She walked back over to his dresser placing the tablets there. "We're trying to figure out anyway possible to get this poison out of you two, but with the way things are going…" She glanced at the pill bottle, before turning around and looking at him. "I'm worried things might get worse." Kendall glanced at her with that.

"You don't have to worry about that." He retorted. "We'll figure this out, Gunther and I will be fine." He sat up a little, wincing. Kendall gave him a look with that as she didn't believe it. "We can wait for our moms. They'll be back soon enough and then everything will be fine." He spoke. Brianna shook her head slightly.

"I'm just unsure about this." She commented. "There has to be another way…"

"Brianna." He gave her a look, knowing where she might be taking this.

"I mean with herbs or medicines." She corrected. 'I wouldn't recommend that, you know.' She thought. He let out his small breath. "Maybe…maybe Loraina or Mouth, even the twins, can think of something…outside the box, you know."

"Maybe…" Kick agreed. "Bring it up to them this weekend or Monday, and see what you get."

"So, you would be willing?" She inquired.

"Gunther and I would try, yes." He nodded. "But, just be careful and cautious okay." He told her. She agreed as she stepped out for a bit, leaving Kendall and Kick.

"Cautious?" Kendall wondered.

"It's nothing." Kick answered. "Knowing Bri, she just really wants to look into some things." He continued. "But it's nothing for you to worry about." She raised an eyebrow at that.

"Right…" She didn't buy that as she stayed, thinking of some stuff, especially in regards to his blood tablets and a few other things.

Kendall helped that night with changing his bandages, while also rewrapping some of her injuries with some cooling wraps as her bandages. She also made dinner, hoping that might help, but things still weren't sitting well with her. When the next day rolled around, she wanted to meet up with Jackie that night.

"You seem lost in thought…" Jackie noticed as she came out of the kitchen with some water bottles. Kendall looked at her.

"Jackie…do you think…." She let out a breath. "Are Gunther's blood tablets running low?" She asked.

"They are." Jackie nodded. "Which I don't think is a good thing." She mentioned. "I made a small comment to him and Brianna when she came over a few days ago, you know when it was her turn…" She explained. Kendall just listened, nodding when she heard that. "But they said things would be okay." Jackie looked away. "I'm not so sure though."

"Me neither." Kendall agreed. "Kick's running low as well, plus…I just…" Jackie glanced back at her. Kendall took a small sip of her water.

"Just what?" Jackie was curious. Kendall let out another breath.

"Do….do you feel like this whole thing…this whole incident…like something is still off?" She inquired. "Like they might be still hiding something?" She stared at Jackie. Jackie swallowed.

"Kends…" Jackie spoke. "You…you know that's what got us into this…" She commented. "That us looking for information…"

"I know." Kendall interrupted. "But…." Kendall glanced away. "That still…there still something off." She said. "Plus something they're not telling us." She looked back at Jackie.

"Even if that may be." Jackie started. "What can we do about it?" She questioned. "Especially with how last time went…" She glanced at her wrists.

"Not sure…" Kendall admitted. "I just know everything seems off since Marcello showed up." She told her. "I mean the fact the boys blame themselves…"

"I know, that guy was a serious nut case with his issues." Jackie rolled her eyes thinking about it. "Honestly they did nothing wrong."

"Right…but something just seems….off." Kendall stated. "Plus the fact they're avoiding it…especially this thing about their blood tablets."

"Do you think there is something more to it?" Jackie asked.

"I do." Kendall replied. "Think about it Jackie." She continued to stare at her. "We're both smart here." She began. "The others I think are avoiding the topic because it has to deal with getting the boys better. Healing them in fact."

"Why would they avoid it?" Jackie questioned, not liking that fact, especially if it would get the boys better.

"Think Jackie," Kendall repeated. "For what reason would they, especially the boys want to avoid bringing it up in front of us?" She used her hand to point at them. "Even more, as we both know, being that the boys are running low on tablets which can be really bad for them, specifically in their current condition." She reminded. "What have they said previously about the said topic?" Jackie's eyes widened a bit when she realized.

"They need the real thing." She concluded.

"Exactly." Kendall placed her chin on her hand. "But they're avoiding it."

"Of course they are." Jackie acknowledged. "Look how they were prior to us knowing." She recalled. "Look at how Gunther was with me and our relationship… yeah they are definitely avoiding it." She agreed, shaking her head.

"They know they can get healed by having blood." Kendall said. "But they are avoiding the topic and option." She rolled her eyes. "They need this and they just…." She let out a frustrated breath.

"So that's why you knew something was up?" Jackie raised an eyebrow.

"Partially, but let's just say some things still might not be adding up." She answered. "But I think we can settle that after we deal with this issue." She informed.

"And just how are we going to deal with this?" Jackie wondered. "We both know they will not take our blood, being that they're being like this." She rolled her eyes, folding her arms and sitting back.

"That's where we put our heads together, come up with a few plans, and if all else fails remind them we're their girlfriends and make them." She let out a huff with a small smirk on her lips as she drank some more water. Jackie looked at her with that before chuckling a little. "But first we figure out what the others are going to do, seeing as they want to try things."

"Will they work?" Jackie had some of her water.

"Doubtful, personally." Kendall replied. "Unless it's their mothers or you know, blood, I highly doubt they'll get healed, seeing as this poison is so different apparently." Kendall explained as she remembered how the others kept saying that. Jackie nodded.

"Right, well let's get to planning, seeing as we need to get them better." Jackie stated.

"Agreed. This weekend we're going to come up with a lot, do a lot of listening over the week, seeing as we need to get some information from our source, carefully, and just go from there." Kendall glanced at her as she placed her water down. "But we will do what's needed."

"Got that right." Jackie agreed.

(**)

Over the next few days the girls just listened to the usual conversations as the others still talked about the boys. They texted and would switch between one another's houses, spending the night, as they went over plans of what to do. It wasn't until Wednesday that Mouth brought up the underground black markets that could be helpful in maybe finding a cure, as it might have an herb or even a special type of blood tablet. This intrigued Brianna as she was hopeful for that.

"And you can get it?" She asked Mouth.

"Well the thing about those types of markets…" He looked at her.

"They're unpredictable Brianna." Loraina folded her arms. "Even I'm saying that."

"Are you saying you can't get it?" Brianna inquired. "Either of those items?"

"I'm saying even with someone of your abilities, you can get conned." Loraina pointed. "Hell even I can, and I see the future."

"There's just no guarantee with these market places, because of the items they use to block mind and precognition abilities." Mouth informed. "Hell, even someone like me, who not only is fast, manipulative as all get up, and a pretty damn good talker, has been conned." He admitted.

"So….what can we do then?" Brianna wondered.

"Like I said there is no guarantee with these places." He responded. "Even more, there might even be the possibility that what we need is not even there." He stated.

"Then how do we help them?" Brianna further questioned.

"Simple, hope for the best when going there, and don't get caught up in the bullshit there." Loraina remarked.

"Plus, try to be as prepared as you can, as you need to expect the unexpected." Mouth added.

"All of this sounds really dangerous." Jackie came in.

"Agreed, especially with what just happened." Kendall brought up.

"The markets might be dangerous, but not in the way you think." Loraina glanced at them.

"More or less, you might have to worry about losing all your money, maybe getting a spell placed on you or something, but it's not that dangerous for us." Mouth shrugged. Nicolette gave him a look.

"Right, because everyone wants to have a jinx placed on them for two years that makes them smell and/or turn into a chicken for an hour, teleporting them to a forest filled with wild beasts." She countered. "Sure, completely safe." She had a sarcastic tone, as the girls also had strange looks with that.

"It was two weeks, and it wasn't that bad." Mouth retorted, as he shot a look back.

"Sounds….really safe." Kendall nodded.

"I think what Chris means is that this place is pretty harmless, and we will be ok." Brianna corrected. "There isn't any real danger that we can't handle." She continued. "And you two don't have to worry." The girls looked at each other with that.

"If you guys do plan to do this…" Jackie was going along with this. "When would you do it?"

"The markets are open 24/7." Mouth replied. "However, if we want to find want we want, the best time with the most opportunity and sellers, would be to go Friday through Sunday, being that is when many like to do their heavy business, of any kind it seems." He explained with a slight shrug.

"If we want any chance to find what we're looking for, we best go this weekend." Loraina added. Brianna thought about it, folding her arms.

"It might be best to talk about it with Kick and Gunther first." Scarlet brought up.

"Being that you guys will be gone for a few days." Teena agreed.

"Right." Brianna nodded as lunch ended and they needed to head to their next classes.

When the school day ended Brianna, Mouth and the girls went home, Brianna and Mouth explaining things to Kick and Gunther. Jackie was watching Gunther's reactions as he stayed in bed as Mouth continued to talk. He seemed to be going along with the idea. And at the Buttowski's place, Kick liked the plan as well. "So you both think it's okay?" Brianna wanted to confirm.

"With what I'm getting from Gunther, and what I'm understanding…" Kick thought about it. "It should be okay." He nodded. Brianna let out a breath.

"Very well." She spoke. "I'll get Mouth then and we'll go over some things." She walked out. Kendall glanced as she walked out.

"You don't have to worry about them." Kick brought up, causing her to look at him. "She and the others can handle it." He had a small smile. "They'll be fine." She let out a small sigh.

"Right." She commented. 'You all say that about a lot of things…' She thought. "But…I guess if they go," She grabbed his hand gently. "That gives Jackie and I more alone time with you and Gunther, to care for you both." She had a small genuine smile. 'It almost works out perfectly actually…' She began to think. 'Especially if Brianna and Mouth go.'

"Because you two aren't already amazing nurses." He chuckled, trying not to hurt himself too much. She noticed. She went to go get him some new bandages and other things to try and help. "See." He stated, as she smiled at that.

"Well, maybe this weekend Jackie and I can make some special meals for you to eat, being that I'm sure you're getting tired of the same stuff." She mentioned as she helped him sit up to start changing his bandages, placing some cream on his abs.

"Whatever you two make for us, is bound to be delicious and wonderful." He told her, as she started to apply some more cream to his back side, a small smirk forming on her lips. 'This will definitely be an interesting weekend.' She thought.

That night as the girls went home they planned out a few more things they could do over the weekend as they knew things were looking up, while Mouth and Brianna texted Loraina. If they were going to go the black markets, they were going to go in a group.
