Don't Underestimate Us- part 4- Unexpected:
"Guess I'll work with you first." She spoke, placing the thing in her bag before she left to go to Kick's again.
Kendall made dinner for the boys. She took a huge breath as she re-read the bottle, biting her lip. She set a plate aside that would be Gunther's. She then opened the bottle, sprinkling the powder into the food, before adding in a little extra spices, in case, to cover up anything. She took a huge breath, knowing she'd plate Kick's food when she got back, as she set the burners on low to let the food simmer. She went to go take Gunther his food and do what she needed to do over there as quick as she could. She wanted to get to her plan, plus knowing Jackie had hers, she didn't want to waste time.
When she got back to Kick's, she stirred his food, since it had been a bit, then plated it, grabbed him a water, before she took it up to him. She gave him his dinner, water, then went to his drawers to grab his tablets, handing him those as well. She noticed he was running way too low, that he would be lucky if he had enough for tomorrow. Although, with the way both him and Gunther were taking them, they really weren't going to last. She took the empty water bottle when he was done, putting his tablet bottle back on his drawers.
She went over to grab his medicines as she always did, although she noticed as she was doing that he wasn't eating yet. She kept quiet for a brief few seconds, not sure what to say, but also knew she needed to keep calm. She needed to act natural for both herself and Jackie.
"Something wrong?" She didn't want to seem suspicious or make anything seem out of the ordinary. And she didn't think Jackie was over at Gunther's yet. He looked at his plate than at her.
"Trying a new recipe?" He asked.
"What do you mean?" She raised an eyebrow.
"It smells different." He replied, which she had to remain calm. Thankfully for her, having dealt with him for all this time she's learned to keep a cool head now.
"I mean I put some extra spices." She shrugged off, going back to getting the medicines. "You said you liked spicy things once, or was that not true?" She wondered.
"I do, it's just…" He glanced back down, as she brought the stuff to the end of his bed. "This, is a bit different." He brought up. She folded her arms.
"Well, if you don't want to eat my cooking that's fine." She was going to get him, playing this card. He gave her a look with that. He let out a small amused, annoyed huff.
"Fine, I'll eat it." He rolled his eyes.
"You don't have to…" She was about to argue.
"No I will." He interrupted her. "But, you're eating it with me." He commented. She raised an eyebrow to that. "I mean it's been a while since we've technically had a date night, so I'm allowed to ask to share a meal with my girlfriend, aren't I?" He emphasized a few words and she knew that. 'He's playing that card huh…fine.'
"True." She agreed, putting the stuff a bit more up on the bed, so they wouldn't fall, then walking over to the side of his bed, bringing the chair closer, so she could sit in it. "Though with how the past few days have been I didn't think you want to do something like this." She said.
"We can have our fights, but that doesn't mean I don't love you and want to spend time with you, plus have more moments with you like this." He confessed. Her cheeks got a pink hinge with that.
"I guess…that's true." She agreed, she took the fork taking a small bite first, knowing that was probably what he wanted. "Should I get us a few more drinks after this, being that you'll want some cheetah chugs?" She inquired, as she saw him take some big bites himself. A small smile on her lips for a few reasons now.
"Sounds good." He nodded. She took one more bite, before going to get the drinks, knowing he was eating it, a little smirk forming as she walked into the kitchen, looking at the bottle she brought with her. 'Works only on the super natural.' She had a small chuckle. 'Only zero to minimal effects on humans if consumed in large amounts.' She glanced back towards Kick's room. 'Sorry hun, but I need you to get better, plus if all else fails...' She let out a little breath, thinking about it. She grabbed the drinks, bringing them back in. She gave him two, knowing he have them both gone quickly. Whereas she only got a water for herself.
"Good?" She asked, noticing quite a bit of it gone. He chuckled.
"Ah….yeah." He swallowed another bite, feeling a bit sheepish. "Told you I like spicy." She giggled as she sat back down.
"Well good, because I gave you the rest, which was a huge portion, and as you noticed, made it very spicy." She informed.
"That right?" He looked at her, gulping down some cheetah chug. She took a few more bites, nodding. "Well, sorry I kinda ruined dinner for the two of us." She shrugged it off.
"I'm sure we'll have more." She commented, having some water, watching as he pretty much finished the food. "Besides it was made for you anyway." She reminded.
"This was still nice though." He admitted. She smiled at that.
"Yeah…it was." She felt her cheeks heat up again as she took the plate, since he finished. He finished his first cheetah chug, going to open his second, which she couldn't help but chuckle at as she went to the kitchen with the dishes and the first can. She did the dishes, which took her about half an hour to finish everything.
When she came back she grabbed his medicines, noticing he was already getting a little tired. She helped him up, taking off his shirt, and started unwrapping his bandages carefully. The second she had all of the dirty bandages off, she stuck them to the side so she could throw them away later, and started to get out the creams for his wounds. She started with his back, sitting behind him, applying the gel like cream on his upper and mid-back regions, plus the sides of his back. She could tell it made him discomforted, always, when she applied the cream, but relieved at the same time. But the relief was temporary sadly. She then grabbed the big patch bandages that she would stick on his back.
She moved to the front of him, doing the same process. She did notice though, that he was looking a bit sleepier, as she applied the cream on his chest. 'I guess it's working.' She thought. As she placed the patches. She went to grab another type of bandage, these one for wrapping around the bigger ones, starting to wrap them around him.
"I know what you did…" His voice was quiet, sounded tired, but loud enough that she heard. She kept doing her activity.
"I have no idea what you're talking about." She responded.
"Where did you get it?" He questioned, looking at her. She glanced back.
"Again…no idea…" She repeated.
"I know you used a super natural drug." He interrupted, his voice surprisingly still calm. She pegged it on because he was tired. She raised an eyebrow at that. "I've had them used on me before." He brought up. "I know that's why this one didn't affect you." He continued.
"That so?" She kept wrapping his wounds, her voice also just as calm as his. He shook his head slightly, an amused, exhausted sound escaping his lips.
"If you think this one will affect me the way you want it to." He started, "It won't." He stated, this caught her attention as she finished. She got up to go place the dirty wrapping in the garbage, before sitting back down in front of him. "You forgot to factor in that I'm a pure." He reminded. "Things won't affect me the same way they do others." He informed. "This will wear off soon enough. Plus as you can see, I'm holding out fairly well." He glanced at her. She raised an eyebrow again.
"Maybe…" She reached over to where the medicines and bandages were, not meaning to get a tiny papercut on her finger from one of the edges on the bandages. She winced, slightly, but decided to use this to her advantage, as she placed the stuff on the ground. She glanced at her finger, a small spot of blood on it, then glanced at him.
"Not gonna happen Kendall." He seemed to know what she might plan to do.
"I don't think that's really up to you." She replied. "Besides you might be a bit too tired…" She thought about it. "All you need is one taste, a little bit of blood…" She was going to hold up her hand, wanting to bring it closer to his lips, however he grabbed both of them with one hand. He used a towel that was in the basket of medicines to wipe her finger, dabbing it with a fast healing gel. She was shocked he did it so quickly.
"How…" Her look questioning.
"I told you," He chuckled, still holding her hands down by her wrists lightly. "I might be tired, but I'm not unaware." He spoke. "You might have had your intentions, but that stuff isn't going to work."
"Tch…" She glanced away. "Why won't you let me help you? You're being so damn suborn, it's ridiculous." She shook her head at it. He guided her to look at him with his free hand.
"I'm trying to protect you." He responded, still holding her gaze. She let out a huff.
"Don't give me that bullshit Kick." Kendall argued. "You're being stubborn and you know it." She told him. "This can help you, why won't you just let me?" She asked. He rubbed his thumb over her cheek, shaking his head slightly.
"I'm not budging on this Kends." He said. "You're understating me." He breathed.
"No, I'm seeing how much pain you're in, and what that attack did to you." She commented. "I'm seeing the person I love get worse and it hurts Kick." She swallowed, keeping her stare with him. He let out a breath.
"Kends…." He let out.
"Kick…" She interrupted him, noticing he loosed his grip on her, which made her get up and carefully push him on the bed, straddling him. "If you're going to be stubborn, I will be too." She whispered. He stared up at her with that. "I'm not giving up on this." She kissed his forehead, before getting up. "Neither of us are…" She glanced at the clock, knowing she probably held him off long enough, plus did all she could with her tactic, being that it didn't work. She let out a breath with that, as she folded her arms, going to lean back against the wall thinking about these things.
He sat up, wincing a little, swallowing as he tried to ignore some of the pain, however noticing she glanced at the clock and her slight change in demeanor, especially when she said that last statement. She grabbed the medicine basket, putting it away. He grew suspicious.
"What….what do you…" His eyes widened when he realized what she meant. 'Gunther...' He thought to himself, unbelieving what was happening at the current moment. "You…you were the decoy…" His voice was low.
"Not quite." She replied. "I did try to get you to have my blood tonight as well." She informed. "But looks like I'll have to try other plans." She shrugged. "Just like you said for me to not underestimate you Kick, don't underestimate me," She had a small smirk, folding her arms. "I am your girlfriend and I like to give you a challenge after all." She walked out of his room. He closed eyes, biting his lip.
"Fuck…." He shook his head, laying down gently. "I'm screwed…"
(**)
Kendall woke up a bit late that morning, but knew she had to get to Kick's soon, however she wanted to call Jackie first to see how things went before anything. She walked to her kitchen, as she dialed Jackie's number, looking at the other item she had. 'It's the only option and I think I know what to do with it.' She thought as she placed it in her bag.
"Hello?" Jackie answered. She could hear a bit of cheerfulness, amongst other things in her voice.
"Hey, checking in. Wanted to see how you were. Did you know…last night with Gunther, lose it, I mean?" Kendall wondered, as she grabbed her purse.
"No…." Jackie replied.
"So you weren't able to give him blood? Did it not…" Kendall started to ask. She could hear what sounded like her chewing, she figured Jackie must be having a late morning as well.
"It worked." Jackie interrupted.
"Oh. That's good." She could hear Jackie just do a hum in response, which made her giggle. "I guess that just leaves me then. I think I can get Kick, but I'll need you to get Gunther away for a bit." Kendall continued, which Jackie hummed again in response. "I have to ask though….was it…did it…is it like the books? Does it hurt or is it okay? Or what's it like?" She questioned.
"Oh I think…it's something you might…enjoy…" The way she said that, Kendall blushed a bit, knowing Jackie must have really liked it.
"I'm guessing….you must have really enjoyed it then…" Kendall bit her lip thinking about it slightly wondering now what it would feel like to be bitten by Kick. She then heard Gunther on the other side, and Jackie teasing him. Which caused Kendall to laugh a little.
"You're going on speaker." Jackie told her, which Kendall found funny that Jackie was teasing him so much.
"Hey Gunther." Kendall walked out the door, enjoying the fact her and Jackie were having some fun, currently with Gunther. She could hear a few more things on their side.
"Give me two minutes to change, being that I'm the only one who needs to…" Jackie told her. "And we'll be right out Kends." She laughed.
"Got it." Kendall agreed, both hanging up as she waited for both of them, going over the plan she had in her head, occasionally glancing at her phone, taking notes if she needed to. It didn't take long for the both of them to meet her. She glanced. "I see your plan really did work." Kendall laughed.
"Told ya." Jackie responded, her small smirk on her lips. The two giggled about it. Kendall could tell Gunther wasn't having it.
"And it seems you really are just fine." Kendall had to point out. "As is Jackie." She glanced, bringing it up, knowing very well she'll be fine too.
"She's lucky nothing bad happened." He remarked, which caused Jackie to roll her eyes. Kendall seemed to be the only one to notice that action.
"Right…" Kendall wasn't really buying it either.
"You both think this is funny and keep wanting to pull things." He started. "But just know, Kick's ready." He told Kendall, which she raised an eyebrow at. "And won't be as easy…" He glanced towards Kick's place. "Being that we know your girls' games now." Kendall and Jackie looked at each other with that, before Kendall had a small smile grace her lips.
"Good, then this will be easy for me." She replied. Jackie giggling at that.
"Good luck." Jackie encouraged.
"I'll see you both." Kendall waved, before going towards Kick's place, knowing the two left.
(*)
She walked into Kick's house her plan still in mind as she took out the item, looking at it, before placing it in her pocket, so it could be hidden. Although, she did want to check on Kick after last night, especially with how things went with them, plus the fact he probably did get a mindful with Jackie and Gunther. Being that Gunther made it clear, he warned him, and the two were helping each other in whatever possible way. She walked into his room, not too surprised to see him up. He glanced over at her when she came in.
"Want anything in particular for breakfast…or since it's a bit late in the morning I can make a brunch or just lunch if you want that early?" Kendall inquired.
"Depends, you going to pull another meal like last night?" He countered. She rolled her eyes at that.
"If it didn't work, what's the point of trying that again?" Kendall shrugged. "Besides I thought it would help to get you to take my blood." She went over to grab his medicines figuring he might need a change. "Though you make it sound like you won't eat my food ever again, when all I was trying to do is help."
"You drugged me Kendall." He pointed out. "That's something I didn't think you would do."
"Again it was to help you." She retorted. "It's not like I was going to do anything bad. Hell if you weren't being so stubborn about this, and just let me help you, I wouldn't have to think outside the box like this." She argued, putting the stuff on the end of his bed. He just had a look with her, quirking his eyebrow at that. "You think I want to? I wish you just take my blood, as it would be that simple. And you would get better like Gunther did."
"I don't want to hurt you, we've been over this. And trust me it wasn't that simple." Kick started, emphasizing the point. "Although, this still doesn't answer where you got that stuff, let alone found out about it." He remarked. She had her own look about that.
"Like I said, I had to think outside the box." Kendall responded. "And I have my ways to do that." She spoke. He wasn't sure if he liked how she said that or anything in what that could mean.
"Well if you think you can pull something like what Jackie did…" He started as she came around with his medicines, sitting in the chair. She rolled her eyes again, letting out a small huff.
"Please, like I could do that…" She brought up. He kept his suspicions and guard up, as she helped him up. "Besides, Gunther and her….they're very different than us." Kendall admitted as she started to work, fluffing up his pillow for a brief second, which he didn't mind as she did that from time to time, adjusting it.
"How do you figure?" He asked.
"Simple…" She swallowed thinking about it, going back over to him and starting to work on his wounds. "She's…well…..we just are." She said. "I mean one, they've been going out longer than we have. Much longer." She emphasized. "So that factors for a few things." Kick just listened. "Two, Jackie doesn't mind being bolder when it comes to those things…I mean going to his place like that. Doubt I could do that even if was for this." She confessed. 'Hell I remember how I was with your guys' pool party…' She thought about it, blushing more.
Kick chuckled lightly hearing that. "And three, I guess you can say from factoring the time they been together, she didn't mind…or rather I should say she's been thinking about the advancement of their relationship in that way." Kendall blushed more thinking about it as she was continuing to do Kick's bandages. She was now in front of him. "So it was a no brainer, so to speak, for her to do what she did." She stated. "Being that she not only wanted to help, but loves Gunther and wants to be with him." She was blushing harder. "Well… I mean they both want to be together…you know…that way." She swallowed, feeling like her cheeks were burning, as she was trying to calm down.
"You saying you don't think of that?" Kick wondered, which caused Kendall to get shocked and become redder.
"That's…I didn't…" She found it harder to swallow again, when she glanced away. He had a small smirk at that. "We….we've only been together for a few months…" She commented.
"I realize." He agreed.
"I…that stuff…I think comes with time…" She glanced back at him, trying to breathe. "But…it's not that I don't…think it won't happen…" He quirked an eyebrow to that. "Or haven't…you know…"
"Right." Kick was glad he was seeing this side of her.
"Just maybe not…right now…..especially in these current situations." She reasoned. "I'd rather have all these circumstances be done." She told him as she finished. She was about to get up, but he grabbed her wrist, pulling her close to him. The movement causing her to sit back down and lean into him. His free hand cupping her cheek and thumb caressing it. Her pulse increased, as she felt like her air was being taken away again.
When their lips met it made her feel lightheaded, tingly and warm. He let his hand travel down her arm, capturing both of her wrists, gently in one hand. It was a quick movement, smooth and gentle, as he got her on the bed, her hands above her as he continued to kiss her gently. He parted from her lips, looking down at her. Her breathing a bit heavy. "You….you…we…your wounds Kick." She was trying to figure out what exactly to say.
"I'm fine." He commented. "Still am able to do this." He mentioned as he pressed his lips against hers again. His free hand lingered down, feeling the lower parts to one of her thighs, it naturally wanting to wrap around his side, while his other hand loosened its hold on her hands. He winced a little, though, when her leg slightly pressed against his side. She noticed as they parted.
"Kick…" She was concerned.
"It's…it's nothing." She knew he was lying. When he went to lean down again, her hands were free and she had them on his chest, starting to go up to his shoulders. She managed, in her own swift, careful movements, to flip them so she was on top of him. Something he didn't expect as he looked up at her. "Kends…" He had a curious expression.
"You really think you're up to do this?" She questioned. He let out a breath, his hands resting at his sides, but she grabbed them, bringing them closer to his head, leaning down close to him. "You're injured badly Kick, not getting better and pushing yourself too much now." She spoke. "This can't go on."
"Kendall if this is a ploy…" He warned, giving her a serious look.
"No Kick, this is your girlfriend telling you as it is." She corrected. "Giving you the facts." She continued. "And the facts are this, you're in pain with just kissing me. That poison has been in your system too long. And, you have only three blood tablets left, which will get you nowhere. Not with this pain, not your wounds, not anything." She stated. "Whether you want to face it or not, you need my blood. That's just a fact." He shook his head, letting a huff with that. She had a small sly expression cross her face, as a little smirk sneaked its way on her lips. She lowered her lips to his ear. "Try and prove me wrong Kick." She whispered, before looking down at him as he stared at her with a curious and somewhat serious look.
She pressed her lips lightly to his, which he started to deepen the kiss. He wanted to flip them back over, but she kept him from doing so. He didn't mind, but it frustrated him a bit. As she stayed on top, she kept his hands above his head, bringing them closer to the top of his bed. She opened one eye, being as quick, sneaky, and smooth as possible in her next movements.
It shocked him when he heard the click and found that he couldn't move one of his hands. Their kiss instantly stopping as she sat up, looking down at him, with a look he couldn't quite place. He pulled at his hand again, not believing what she just pulled, causing him to shoot her a serious look.
"You didn't…" He responded.
"Wasn't exactly sure how I was going to do it, but it worked out." She shrugged at his comment, as she got off him.
"Where did you…" He glanced at the cuffs. "You think these will hold me?" He looked back at her. "They won't." She glanced at him, still keeping a neutral look as she sat down, crossing her legs. "You keep forgetting I'm…"
"You're a pure." She interrupted. He kept his stare. "I know." She let out a tiny breath, still being neutral, watching as he pulled at the cuffs again, but nothing happened. She had a small smile. She uncrossed her legs, getting up, going to place his medicines away, and clean up as he watched. "The thing is…" She got his attention as she spoke. "You're not in the best of conditions to break them." She reasoned. "In fact, you're too weak to." She turned, after being done, he didn't notice she grabbed something out of the medicine basket. "Which is why, these specific cuffs will work." She came back to sit down.
"Tch…" He rolled his eyes. "You think anything you do…that this will make me drink your blood…" He began. She raised an eyebrow at that.
"You're going to Kick." She told him. He had a hard stare with her.
"Oh and why's that?" He was just as serious with her, being that she was being a bit serious with him now.
"Because you're not getting a choice." She revealed the knife, he was about to grab it but found she scooted the chair far enough back, and the cuff kept him to the bed. He winced at the pain he felt. In one swift action, though, she cut her forearm, a small enough cut, but enough to make an impact. She kept her arm level, so the blood wouldn't drip too much, just yet. He had a panicked expression as his breathing picked up. "Your choice Kick, either let it bleed out, or drink." She told him, a deadly serious tone and expression on her features as she placed the knife on his nightstand. He gulped.
"Kends…" His eyes were wide. "Damnit…don't….why did you….get the medicine…" He was concerned, he couldn't calm down at all.
"No." She responded, still serious. "I'm not moving, unless it's to give you my blood."
"Damnit Kendall don't fucking do this!" Kick warned her, hating this.
"You have a choice here Kick." She informed him. She glanced at her arm. "And by the looks of things…" She swallowed. "You don't want this blood to go to waste." The blood was starting to have a few drips head down her arm, further. He gulped again.
"Kendall, please….damnit….I…I can't…do…this….please…" He glanced away, but she just kept her serious look with him. His breathing was getting heavier. He glanced back, biting his cheek as she just stared at him.
"It's your choice Kick." She held out her wrist so he see it more, her look unwavering. He let out a huge breath, clenching his eyes. 'Damnit….Kendall!' He yelled at himself, hating this. "You need this. You know it." She stated. "So just take it." He swallowed thickly.
"Fine…" He relented. "But….if….if anything happens…" He started to say.
"Kick, I trust you." Kendall interrupted him. "Whether you believe it or not, you have more self-control than you think you do." She told him. "I trust that, I trust you and know I will be okay." He just looked at her with that. "I love you… So just do this and get better, okay." She got closer, so he could take her arm. "Please…" She somewhat pleaded. He, swallowed again, slightly nodding, however still believed this wasn't safe or a good idea.
"Okay…" He grabbed her wrist, gently, making sure to not touch the cut. He did a deep inhale before bringing her arm closer, the scent of her blood starting to get to him. He glanced up at her a final time, as they had a brief moment, before he licked the blood that was dripping down her arm, making sure none of it dripped past her elbow.
The second the taste hit his tongue, his mind shifted. He cleaned up her arm rather quickly, before gliding his lips over where her cut was. The scent of her blood driving him more insane. It was a swift movement of biting over her cut, even allowing his tongue to trace the slice as he began to drink her blood. 'Fuck….I forgot….what this was like…' He was enthralled by her taste, becoming consumed by it.
Once he started licking up her blood, she began to feel warmer. However, when he bit her, she really wasn't expecting the sensation. She bit her inner cheek and had to use her other hand to keep her voice in, to keep from letting out any sounds. She soon was biting her lip, even pressing her lips together, as she was trying harder to keep her sounds in. Her breathing picking up, heartrate increasing, as everything was getting much hotter. 'Jackie…..Jackie….she wasn't wrong…..this is…..' She thought. Her mind beginning to fog because of the pleasure she was getting as her body was feeling things it never felt before. She couldn't help closing her legs, mainly her thighs, tighter as she didn't think it would be this enjoyable. 'Why….why didn't he...' She began to think, trying to keep a level head but finding it harder to do so as her mind was getting hazier by the second.
Kick noticed her reactions as he peaked up slightly, hearing her small muffled sounds and increased breathing. 'Damnit….damnit Kendall….' His mind starting to race, knowing he was loving those reactions, knowing what he wanted to do. When he released her wrist, licking a little more of where he bit, the cut and bite mark gone from her wrist when he was done, he was trying to keep himself steady. However, was finding it harder to do so due to seeing her, as she was flushed, her breathing still heavy and she looked hazier thanks to him. He went to clench the bed sheet, glancing away a bit. "Kendall… go…" He told her.
She looked up, not sure if she heard him right. Given her current state, she wasn't even sure she wanted to now, which was a first. She, kind of understood Jackie's points now with how this went. "I said go Kendall." He repeated. That she heard, as his voice was much more hoarse, sterner and louder. She was surprised. "Now." He looked at her, and the look he had was serious and something about it told her to listen. Although, another part of her really didn't want to. It almost drew her in, making her want to stay, and see what else could happen. "Leave, now Kendall!" He demanded one last time, which she decided to listen to as she nodded. Her head was spinning, and she found it difficult to get to his door in a straight and smooth way. But once out she shut it behind her, her mind still completely fogged, body tingly and warm as she stood there. 'I…I can't concentrate….he….my head is spinning…' She couldn't help but think. 'Did….did he take….take a lot of blood….or was it the cut?' She wondered.
When she finally left, it took every part of him not to want to grab her as she tried to leave or bring her back when she walked out the door. His mind was continuing to race. Why she had to look at him like that, respond like that, just in general do the things she did…it all drove him insane. He loved everything about that girl, but she was going to be a lot of trouble with what she was doing now. His mind continuing to go crazy. The moment the door shut, he clenched the sheets tighter, needing to calm down, but couldn't. It was easy for him to get up, breaking the cuff off that was attached to his bed, and beginning to pace in his room. He ripped the sheets as he did so, removing the bandages off of himself. 'Fuck!' He yelled in his head, knowing he couldn't calm down. He wanted Kendall. His mouth was running dry, his pulse quickening as he hit the wall. A small hole formed. He was growing more frustrated by the second.
He ran his hand threw his hair, continuing to go mad, but also trying to calm himself at the same time. He hated and loved the fact with how she acted. It was driving him insane. And the thought of her responding like that, he wanted to see how else he could get her to react. He wanted her in his arms, in this room and in his bed. He desperately wanted her, wanted a lot of things, desired her. He loved that girl and everything was just driving him crazy. The fact the girl he loved responded to him like that, he wanted, he needed to see how else she'd react. 'Kendall….damnit…..' He gulped, knowing he wanted to go find her. However, knew he needed to stay where he was for her protection so she wouldn't hate him and also until he was in a better state of mind. 'You….you really fucking did it….' He admitted it in his head, as he continued to try and calm himself, turning around and sliding down the wall. He needed to calm his mind and try to slow his breath. 'Breathe Kick…..breathe….just fucking…..calm down…' He told himself, repeatedly, closing his eyes, needing to focus so he could.
He didn't know how much time past, but he knew one thing, his room was now a wreck. There were a few holes in the walls that he would have to patch up later, and his bed was ruined with tore up sheets and a pillow. When he felt calm enough he walked in front of his mirror, glancing at himself. He could clearly see that he was healed and he was better. He let out a breath, picking up the ripped sheets and bandages, putting them in a bag to be thrown away. 'Guess I'll use that special sealant later, being mom has to buy the ones from that special store…' He just shook his head as he put the bag at one end of his room. He glanced at his wrist breaking the remainder of the cuffs off, then looking at it. 'I swear, she's going to tell me where she got this stuff…' He still couldn't believe what Kendall did, as he placed the remnants in his pocket. 'Though, I hope Kendall is okay…' He couldn't help but worry as he went to walk out of his room, stopping. He got a shocked expression at first, before shaking his head as he kneeled down. "You dummy, I told you to leave."
Kendall was passed out, curled up on the floor by his door. He wasn't expecting her to be there. He let out another breath, picking her up. "You realize what could have happened had I came looking for you…" He went to go lay her on his bed. "You just like playing dangerous games…" He moved some strands away from her face. "But you can't do this again. Ever..." He continued. "I'm going to make sure this doesn't happen again." He watched her sleep.
'Kick, you okay?' He heard Gunther's voice.
"Yeah." He breathed.
'Are you…' He was going to ask.
"They got what they wanted." Kick interrupted. "But we're making sure it's never happening again." He caressed Kendall's cheek. "She's lucky nothing happened and I told her to leave….though not that she listened well enough." He rolled his eyes, shaking his head thinking about it.
'Agreed, not ever again.' Gunther agreed. 'Though these two…'
"I know." Kick knew what he was thinking. "These girls like to do risky things….even more," He brought out the pieces of the cuff he had. "Are starting to get to know things they shouldn't…this could be bad." He informed. Gunther understood, as Kick showed him his thoughts.
'I'm sure you have a plan in mind…' Gunther assumed.
"I might." Kick replied. "However, we need to settle things with these two first." Kick glanced at Kendall. "Not sure how we'll do it, but we need to get them off this track, otherwise…"
'Right." Gunther seemed to get it. 'We'll figure it out.' He stated. 'For now, make things seem like they're normal.' He mentioned. 'When she wakes, come over and let's just get some work out of the way, we can try and figure this out.' He suggested. 'Sound good?'
"Yeah." Kick nodded. "Besides, might be interesting to know if Jackie knew about Kendall's little tactics, seeing as these two were working together." He thought about it, putting the pieces back in his pocket. Gunther chuckled.
'Good luck getting anything like that out of them, as we're better off just trying to figure out a plan and spending time with them as we do work.' Gunther countered. Kick let out a breath with that.
"True…" He shook his head, as he played with Kendall's hair again. "See you guys soon." Gunther replied the same as Kick waited for Kendall to wake.
To be continued….
L: That was not how I expected that to go. Kendall is sly. I kinda like it. More please as I must find out what happens next.
S: I always make more, so no worries.
L: Thank you. So let's get to that, as I need the update, immediately.
S: Not surprising with you.
L: Hey, things are always getting good in this series. I'm sure I'm not the only one who notices. So I hope others are enjoying like I am! And you guys like to do what you guys do, so continue to do so (you know fav, follow, whatever)
S: Well that's true. Anyway, I guess we'll see you guys in the next update!
Both: Bye! Please keep informed and safe for yourself and others. Also please stand against tyranny that countries face like Ukraine, Taiwan and others. Thank you.
