A/N: Hey everyone! I am TexasForeverFan, I have written in the Chicago PD and Friday Night Lights fandoms and have decided to venture out into the Heartland fandom.

I have been an avid fan of Heartland for several years (Heartland is actually how I got into reading fan fiction); however, I live in the US so I get really far behind when new seasons come out.

As a result of my location, I have not been able to watch season 14, but I do know some spoilers. I really like Quinn and Georgie's relationship and so that will be a big part of this story.

This story will take place between seasons 13 and 14 and a couple months after Ty dies.

Quinn sat in his small office at Hillhurst stable staring at the list of summer circuit shows. He had several trainees who wanted to compete on the summer circuit.

"Forget about my session?" Georgie asked, peeking her head into Quinn's office and breaking him from his thoughts.

"Shoot! I did," He replied, looking down at his phone to see that he had missed 15 minutes of her session.

"I was warming up and you never came out there."

"Sorry, my client before you cancelled so I was looking at the schedule for the summer circuit," He apologized. "Do you still have Phoenix tacked up?"

"Yes, I left him on the cross ties."

"I'll meet you in the big arena," He told her.

"Got it!" She replied, leaving the office. She made her way to Phoenix's new stall at Hillhurst, where he was waiting in the cross ties. During the winter, Georgie made the decision to move Phoenix from Heartland to Hillhurst so that she could take advantage of the indoor facilities, and make it more convenient for Quinn to train her.

Georgie led Phoenix from his stall into the big indoor arena. Quinn held the mounting block in his hand and carried it to Phoenix's side before placing it on the ground. Georgie mounted Phoenix and made sure her helmet was on tight.

The course was a four jump course, shaped in a figure eight. Georgie started towards the first obstacle, a set of uneven verticals. She guided Phoenix over the uneven verticals, easily clearing all of them.

"Very good Georgie!" Quinn praised as she cross the ring and headed towards the large oxer. Phoenix took off a little too early, but still cleared the jump. The next obstacle was a simple caveletti. Phoenix gracefully cantered over the cavelettie and and picked up the pace as Georgie guided him toward the next oxer. Phoenix approached the next oxer, took off at the right time, and easily cleared the jump.

"This is the hardest course you could set up?" Georgie teased as she slowed Phoenix down.

"I didn't change it after one of my younger client's lesson," Quinn replied. "But it's good for you to practice some simpler courses, you got off stride at that first oxer."

"But I still cleared it," Georgie argued.

"Just go again, you can't afford to make those simple mistakes at the level you want to compete at," Quinn instructed. Georgie nodded in agreement and repeated the course. This time she stayed in stride and flawlessly completed the course. "Now this time, do it backwards, start with the oxer."

Georgie once again did as she was told and completed the course backwards with no mistakes.

"I think that's good for today, I don't think you want to miss your family dinner," He told her. Georgie dismounted and led Phoenix back to his stall with Quinn by her side. Together, they untacked Phoenix and returned him to his stall.

"Bye bud," She told Phoenix, as she wouldn't be back at the stable until tomorrow.

"Ready?" Quinn asked.

"Yeah," Georgie replied.

"I've got to grab some stuff from my office and then we can leave," Quinn stated as he and Georgie made their way to his office. He grabbed the summer circuit schedule papers from his desk, flipped the light off, and pulled the door shut. He met Georgie at his SUV which was parked in front of the stable.

Quinn drove to Heartland and parked in front of the house. He put his SUV in park and he and Georgie both got out and made their way to the house. When they opened the door, the house was full and bustling, just as usual.

"Hi Georgie and Quinn!" Lou, who was putting salad in a serving bowl, greeted them.

"Hi mom," Georgie responded. "Is there something I can do to help?"

"Yes, can you set the plates around the table?" Georgie nodded and grabbed the pile of plates to set the table with. Lou also put Quinn to work carrying food to the dining room table.

When the table was finally set, they all gathered around and began eating.

"Georgie, Quinn, have you seen the summer circuit schedule?" Lisa asked at the dinner table. "The trainer I've got working with my potential jumpers said it came out today."

"Yeah, I got the schedule in an email today," Quinn answered.

"Georgie, are you going to follow the circuit this summer?" Lou inquired.

"Well, Quinn and I haven't really talked about it," She answered, turning to look at Quinn. "But I was planning on it."

"I just know how competitive it is and usually the shows aren't very close," Lou stated.

"Actually, this year there are a lot in the area. I didn't get to study it too hard, but there aren't that many outside of Alberta," Quinn interjected.

"Quinn and I will look at the schedule and decide, but I will probably end up doing it," Georgie told her mother. "If I want to go to the Olympics, I need to face tough competition, and the summer circuit has that."

"I know Georgie, and I respect that, I just don't want you to push yourself too hard," Lou replied. "But do whatever you think you need to do and what you think you can handle," She added, not wanting to be disapproving of Georgie's dream.

Georgie and Quinn sat cuddled together on the couch looking over the summer circuit schedule while everyone else was getting ready for bed.

"If you want to qualify for the End of Summer Invitational, you'll need to hit as many of these as possible," Quinn told her.

"But some of these will be impossible to go to, like the few around Ottawa," Georgie replied.

"You can still qualify without going to all the shows, we just have to be sure and make all of the local ones."

"Shh, Amy just put Lyndy to bed and Katie is trying to go to sleep," Lou told them as she walked from Katie's room to the kitchen.

"We can go out to the office and look at this," Georgie responded as she got up from the couch.

"Ok, but you better be back in your room by midnight. You two will not be staying in that loft together all night," Lou strictly stated.

"Yes ma'am," They responded in unison. Together, they walked to the barn where, instead of going to the office, they went up to the loft. They cuddled together on the couch in the loft, just as they had in the living room.

"Does your mom not want you to do the circuit?" Quinn asked.

"I'm really not sure," Georgie replied. "She supports my show jumping dreams, she just wishes I would focus more on college. But college is over for the summer, so I don't know how show jumping distracts me from it."

"Do you want to do the circuit? I don't want to push anything you don't want to do onto you."

"Yes, I want to do the circuit and I want to qualify for the End of Summer Invitational and get incited to several other invitationals," She told him. "And I want to do it all with you," She added with a smile. Quinn smiled back, revealing his dimples Georgie loved so much.

"I better get back to my room before my mom kills us both," She laughed before giving Quinn a good night kiss and retuning to the house.

So there is the first chapter, I hope you enjoyed! Leave me a review and let me know what you think!

Let's cross our fingers that tomorrow's announcement from CBC is that there will be a season 15.
