Making her breakfast and preparing lunch for her father, Daniella glanced over the tv, listening to the news summing up the very uneventful weekend.

"You see, I didn't have the chance to talk to anybody during the weekend, and there were no supervillains roaming the streets of Paris" Danielle said to her kwami sitting on top of the fridge.

"I'm sure there were many times people get akumatised when you weren't around" the kwami said reassuringly.

"But three days in a row?" asked Danielle, looking at Buzzy with sad eyes.

"Don't be so pessimist, Dani" she said, flying to sit on her shoulder instead. "Last week was tough. But I'm sure this week will be much better."

"Hmm…" Danielle hummed, unsurely. "Let's hope so, Buzzy" she said, giving a piece of bacon to the kwami.

"That's much better" replied the kwami happily. "Maybe you will make some new friends at school."

"Yeah… maybe" Danielle mumbled.

"You know, I was just thinking how everyone around here likes rock'n'roll" said Buzzy, watching an interview with a purple haired, bearded musician. "He seems like a cool guy" the kwami added with a chuckle.

"I guess different things are popular in different parts of the world" Dani commented half-heartedly, listening to the interview during breakfast.

On her way to school, she was reading about this guy she saw on tv, named Jagged Stone. He seemed like a wild weird guy but Danielle thought he was a good kind of weird. He even owns a goddamn crocodile as a pet. She's never heard of anyone having a pet crocodile. She had one side of her headphones on, listening to one of her favourite songs, hoping to calm her nerves as she slowly approached the school. She just hoped nobody would talk to her or even look into her direction the whole day. She knew that was impossible but after the previous week, she didn't want to get into contact with any of her classmates. Unfortunately, she had to stay in Paris for a while. The Guardian was located here, at least two Miraculous users were here fighting another user, and she just felt that her own Miraculous was drawn to this city. She didn't know what her mission would be here, but she learned to trust her instincts. Right now, her destiny brought her here, and she was determined to stay, even if being at school was a living nightmare. She'll just try to stay low and not get into anybody's business, and possibly, not get more people akumatised.

As she was approaching the pedestrian crossing next to the school, she was so engrossed in reading about her classmate, Marinette designing some cool glasses for Jagged Stone, she didn't even notice Juleka arriving next to her, waiting for the green light to pass the street. Waiting for the light to change from red, Juleka just stood there, trying to get herself together to greet Danielle. Having a strange feeling, Danielle looked to her side, realising that Juleka was staring at her with a strange expression on her face.

"Umm… hey" Dani said, taking her earphones out and stuffing them in her pocket.

Do NOT say anything that could upset her. No, don't say anything at all, she thought to herself. The less she speaks, the less are the chances that she messed something up. She didn't even look at Juleka after she greeted her. Maybe she was looking at her the wrong way before. Maybe her eyes looked angry or something. Or she looked at her for too long. But what if now she doesn't look at her for long enough. Juleka might think she's rude for not looking at her. Her anxiety was hitting the roof and she didn't know what she was supposed to do. She felt her muscles tensing and her mouth getting dry. Should she say something? Should she just stay silent and leave fast as soon as she can? Or should she just walk behind Juleka and get some distance between them? Can she just walk next to her to school?

"Hi" Juleka said finally, looking at her feet.

As the light turned green, they started walking side-by-side in complete silence. Neither girl knew how to start or what exactly to say to the other.

"I'm sorry" said both of them at the same time, stopping and facing each other.

"What?" Danielle asked in confusion.

"You… shouldn't apologise. I should" Juleka said, looking at the ground.

"But… Um… I thought that" Danielle started explaining.

"You didn't do anything wrong" Juleka said. "It's so embarrassing…"

"What do you mean?" Danielle asked, trying to figure out what the issue was.

"Juleka, Danielle, wait for me" they heard Mylène shout, as the short chubby girl jogged toward them.

Oh no, no, no… Dealing with one issue for one day was enough, Danielle didn't think she could handle a jealous girlfriend as well on a Monday morning. She thought about just turning around and leaving, but Ivan's girlfriend asked her as well, not just Juleka. So if she left now, she would definitely be called out for that.

"Thank you for waiting for me" Mylène said, trying to catch her breath.

Juleka mumbled something in reply, while Danielle just smiled at her awkwardly.

"Ivan told me that you helped him out" Mylène said, rummaging in her bag. "Math is such a hard subject for him. And he was so happy he could solve the exercises. And it made me happy as well" she said with a sweet voice, looking at Danielle.

"I'm glad I could help" Dani replied, scratching the back of her head.

"I'm glad that you're glad" Mylène said with a big smile. "So please, don't stop talking to him. We could just be friends, right? You could sit next to him on the next field trip. Ohh, or maybe you could sit next to me next time" she looked at Danielle with hopeful eyes.

"Umm… Yeah, sure" Dani replied with an unsure smile. "Sounds great."

"Ahh, I'm so happy" Mylène hugged her in excitement. "I made this for you during the weekend. As a sign of our new friendship" she added, holding her arms out, with a small pinback button in her hands.

It was a light blue pin, with two red poppy flowers on. Danielle never considered poppy flowers to be pretty, but this looked incredible. If her father were there, she was sure he would cry just looking at it. Maybe he will cry anyway when she shows it to him.

"This… This is beautiful" Danielle said in awe, making Mylène look at her happily. "Thank you so much."

"I'm so happy you like it" Mylène replied, as Danielle pinned it on her bag. "Let's get to class fast, we have only a few minutes left."

The rest of the day was pleasurably uneventful. She talked to some of her classmates a bit, and didn't anger anyone… It turned out that there will be a talent show at school in a few weeks, so Miss Bustier asked her students during the last class what they were planning to do. Everyone seemed really talented in this class, listing the things they will do. And here she was, having no idea what to say. Please, don't ask me; please, don't ask me…. the thought was repeated in Danielle's head until Miss Bustier finally got to her.

"How about you, Danielle?" she asked kindly. "I know it's probably a short notice, but there's nothing wrong if you don't attend. You can help with the decorations or the organisation."

"Ahhh, that's fine" she replied quickly, happy to be excluded from this misery.

"But don't worry. I'm sure there will be a chance for you too next year. So, what is something you think you're good at?" Miss Bustier looked at her with an expectant smile.

"I… uhh... " she started, panicking, as everyone was looking at her. "I can… get lost… anywhere" she slowly blurted out, her face already giving away her realisation how stupid statement that was.

"Oh" Miss Bustier said, confused, looking at Danielle's wide eyes, as the others looked at each other, also confused. "Alright. How about you, Alya? Do you have any plans?"

"Please, somebody bury me" Danielle whispered, resting her head on the desk, making Ivan chuckle.

Well, she managed to make an idiot out of herself by the end of the day. But nothing can be perfect. Still, she didn't know what Juleka wanted to say to her. Maybe tomorrow they'll get a chance to talk again.

The superheroes of Paris had a particularly bad Saturday. There was a huge sports event during the weekend with participants in all kinds of sports from all over the country. However, no matter how hard the Parisian contestants tried, they never seemed to get the 1st place. When it turned out that the whole event was rigged and the winners were predetermined, several angry competitors and attendees were akumatised. Most of them were easy to defeat, but Anansi, Frozer and Syren were much stronger than the others and seemed to be able to work together really well. Most of the city was underwater, with huge blocks of icy terrain for Frozer to attack, while Anansi could easily navigate between the buildings, making traps with her web. To defeat them, Ladybug asked for the help of Carapace and Viperion. but they were running out of time fast.

"I can't hold on much longer, M'lady" said Cat Noir, looking at his ring, using his stick to deflect an attack from Anansi.

"I'm afraid my Second Chance is about to run out soon" added Viperion, as Carapace shielded him from an attack from Frozer.

"We have to figure something out, soon, dude" said Carapace, looking at Ladybug, expecting her to come up with a plan.

"Let's end this quickly" commented Ladybug, throwing her yo-yo to the air. "Lucky Charm!"

As a result, a small dragonfly-shaped whistle landed in Ladybug's hands.

"A whistle… What am I supposed to do with this?" wondered Ladybug, starting to look around to figure out, what to do.

"Hah, that's all you've got?" Anansi asked cockily.

No matter where Ladybug looked, only the whistle and herself glowed with the familiar red-black pattern. She had no choice, she blew the whistle, which apparently didn't make any sound.

"Huh?" Ladybug breathed out, confused. "Nothing happened?" she asked in awe.

"Now is your chance to defeat these pitiful heroes" said Hawk Moth to all three akumatised villains. "Ladybug's Lucky Charm let her down and they are about to transform back. Take all four Miraculoses and bring them to me."

"That'll be a piece of cake, Hawk Moth" Anansi said.

"You can count on us" Frozer added.

"They've got no chance to win" Syren said, poking her head out of the water.

"Uhh, M'lady?" Cat Noir started with a questioning tone. "What are we gonna do now?"

"For now?" Ladybug replied with a hint of confusion. "Retreat."

With that, the superheroes made their way to the Eiffel tower, regrouping on one of the upper floors.

"I don't understand" Ladybug started, still holding the whistle in her hand. "There was nothing else I could've done with this."

"Maybe you should've used it in a different place?" asked Viperion.

"Yeah, do you see anything helpful here?" asked Cat Noir.

Looking around for a few seconds, trying to find anything that could be used, the only things glowing were the whistle and herself.

"No" she sighed. "Just the whistle and me" she said, blowing it once again.

"Still nothing..." added Carapace, scratching the back of his head.

"What are we supposed to do now? The Lucky Charm's never failed before" Ladybug sighed sadly.

"The Lucky Charm never fails, Ladybug" they heard a female voice.

Looking to the direction of the voice, they saw a girl, her height was around Ladybug's. Her red hair was up in a high ponytail, dragonfly wing-shaped mask covering her face. Her attire was mostly dark marine blue with light blue pattern on the sides of her arms and legs. Also, she had fairy-like wings on her back and a whip attached to her side.

"Who… are you?" asked Ladybug in awe. "What are you doing here?"

„I'm Libella. It's nice to meet you all" she said with a small bow. "I'm here because you summoned me."

"Summoned you?" repeated Carapace with a questioning tone.

"So that's what the dragonfly whistle did" said Ladybug, eyeing the whistle in her hand.

"Maybe I could get a ladybug whistle to call upon m'lady every time I miss her" said Cat Noir with a flirty grin.

"Isn't it a missed opportunity to call her, mew'lady?" Libella asked, making the boys smile and Ladybug roll her eyes.

"I already like her" said Cat Noir, leaning on Viperion's shoulder.

"Please, don't give him ideas" Ladybug sighed.

"So… what can I help you with?" Libella asked with a small chuckle.

As she did, she saw a figure emerging from the water to her right. Grabbing her whip, she caught the arm of the villain, lifting her up to the tower, laying right in front of Cat Noir, who could easily break the goggles where the akuma was.

"Now only two more remain" Ladybug said after neutralising the akuma. "Thanks."

"If only we had a little bit more time..." Carapace said, as all four superheroes checked their Miraculouses, seeing that they would soon transform back.

From the distance, they could see the remaining two villains slowly making their way toward them. They didn't need to worry about de-transforming, so there was no need for them to be in a hurry.

"How much time do you need?" Libella asked.

"If we could bait them to think one of us is about to transform back, we could make a trap, ambush them and finally get their akumas" Ladybug murmured.

"Well, if none of them or us hurry up, no fake bait would be necessary" Cat Noir said, checking his ring.

"I'm afraid he is right" Viperion added, sighing.

"How much time would you need to defeat them?" Libella asked again, now with a more forceful voice.

"What?" Ladybug replied. "Umm... Maybe a few more minutes. Five minutes should be enough."

"Very well" Libella replied with a nod. "For the everyday people, only 2 seconds will go by. For us, five extra minutes are granted. Use it wisely" she said, attaching her whip back to her hip. "Borrowed Time: 2 seconds" she said, turning her Miraculous ring 180 clockwise.

As she did, her ring emitted a dim blue light, and time seemed to slow down around the heroes.

"Whoa, dude" said Carapace in awe. "What happened?"

"The clock is ticking..." Libella said, showing her glowing ring slowly turning back counter-clockwise. "Five more minutes."

"And that's how we could defeat them" Marinette said, finishing the story to Master Wang Fu.

"I've never thought I'll get a chance to get in contact with the Dragonfly Miraculous in my life" Master Fu said, with thoughtful eyes.

"What do you mean?" asked Marinette, looking at Tikki for a second, who was just as lost as Marinette.

"The Dragonfly is one of the unique Miraculouses that is not in the care of a Guardian. It has been possessed by the descendants of an ancient family for many centuries" Master Fu said, pouring some tea for both of them. "It's said that they continuously fight evil all around the world when needed. As a silent protector. And if necessary, the Ladybug Miraculous is able to contact the Dragonfly."

"That's why the Lucky Charm gave me the whistle…" Marinette murmured. "But why now? How come I've never got the whistle before?"

"You've never had a problem handling the fights, isn't that right, Marinette?" asked Master Fu kindly. "With the help of Cat Noir or the other Miraculouses, you could always defeat the enemies Hawk Moth sent your way."

"I guess you're right. This fight was harder than I expected… So, wait, she's our ally, right?" Marinette asked excitedly. "Then she can also help us defeat Hawk Moth."

"I'm afraid that's not how it works, Marinette" mused Master Fu.

"But, why not?" asked Tikki, concerned.

"The Dragonfly is spiritually connected to you, to Ladybug" Master Fu explained. "And in certain fights, your Lucky Charm will help you summon her for help. But the Dragonfly is neutral toward the Miraculous users. You see, the kwamis and Miraculouses are inherently good. So to her, Hawk Moth is just a simple Miraculous user."

"But Master Fu, Hawk Moth is evil. He's abusing his power, he's not using it to do any good to the world" Marinette snapped.

"I know, Marinette" he sighed in reply. "But there are certain rules and traditions that have been around for many generations. We can't just change these to make our lives easier."

"But… That's just not fair. If she's supposed to fight evil, she should help us fight Hawk Math" Marinett continued, getting more agitated.

"I can assure you that she will help in your fights. But she cannot directly fight against a Miraculous user" said Master Fu sympathetically.

"But… but… argh…" Marinette granted angrily. "I don't care. I don't need her help" she said, as she stormed out of Master Fu's apartment, followed by a confused Tikki.
