Juleka and Luka were sitting in their room, doing their respective homeworks, when they also got the same notification. Jule was the first to check it, as the Chemistry homework was not the most exciting thing for her.

"How?" Juleka mumbled, grabbing the attention of her brother, so he also checked his phone.

The post Alix made was a series of pictures with a short description on how she and Danielle found a baby bat sleeping inside of an elevator and how they caught and set it free outside with the help of the local wildlife conservation team.

"She always manages to get into these strange situations" Luka smiled to himself, looking at one of the pictures with Danielle gently lifting up the curled up little bat.

"You are avoiding her" Juleka murmured, just loud enough for her brother to hear.

"You know that's not true" Luka replied calmly, looking at her from the corner of his eyes.

"It feels like you are..." she said, turning back to her homework without looking at him.

Luka found his sister's behaviour strange, but just smiled at her comment with a small headshake, changing between the pictures with Dani on them. Seeing that she couldn't get the reaction she wanted, Jule decided to step up her game as she thought back to the latest conversation she and Danielle had that morning.

"At least that's what she said…" Juleka mumbled, with her eyes glued to the textbook.

"What? Who?" Luka asked immediately, sitting up straight as he put his phone to his side.

Well, this was more like the reaction Juleka expected. It was hard for her to suppress a triumphant smile because of her success. Now she just had to keep up the act.

"Hm?" Jule hummed, looking back at her brother, who was looking at her with confused, questioning eyes.

"Danielle said that?" he asked with a hint of nervousness in his voice, earning a slow nod from Juleka. "Is she angry at me?" Luka then asked, looking at his sister with a sad expression.

Danielle was not feeling well in the last couple of days. Neither physically, not mentally. She was getting tired more easily from even the simplest tasks, she got dizzy often and there was a constant tingling in her left arm. The pills she had helped a bit, but her father already made some arrangements with the hospital and got an appointment with a doctor for Saturday. Just one more day of school… Right now, she just tried to focus on other tasks to do, like packing her things to get ready for moving into their new house. Thankfully, there were many things she hadn't even started taking out of the boxes, so she had an easier job than her father with all his notes and equipment scattered all over his study.

"I wonder when you father will finish with all those papers and tools" laughed Buzzy, peaking through the keyhole.

"Probably when I decide to finally help him" Danielle joked, making the kwami laugh again. "But we still have some time until we can move, so no need to hurry."

"It looks like he just randomly scattered everything around" Buzzy mused, looking around the study thoroughly, now, making Dani chuckle.

"Well, you never know. Maybe he did" she added, but before she could continue, the doorbell rang.

Looking at each other with an also confused Buzzy, she motioned the kwami to hide, before checking the surprise visitor. Looking through the peephole, she had to check again to make sure her eyes weren't playing tricks on her.

"Luka" she said in a questioning voice, as she opened the door to see the nervous musician.

"Hi, Dani" he smiled, tucking his hands in his pockets.

"Hey" she replied, still surprised. "Wanna come in?" she asked, motioning inside the house with her hand.

"Yeah, thanks" he said with a tone that Danielle couldn't really identify.

"Sorry for the mess. And all the boxes" she said apologetically.

"I hope I'm not bothering you" he started, not waiting for an actual answer from her. "But Jule said that you guys talked today…" he said, awkwardly holding his arm with the other hand, something Dani had only seen Juleka do before.

"Oh" Dani replied, having no idea what supposed talk he was referring to. Thankfully, Luka was so occupied with his thoughts on what to say that he didn't notice it.

"I am not avoiding you" he said, looking straight into her eyes. "And I'm sorry if I made you feel that way. Things just got…"

As he was talking, Danielle finally realised what he was referring to. She was talking to Juleka about their respective weekend plans that morning, Juleka inviting her over to their place and Danielle jokingly said that Luka probably wanted to avoid her and another banana-trip for some time. But surely, Juleka didn't think of it as something serious. She even laughed a little bit at that comment along with Rose and Alya, who also heard of the story from someone.

"… and I was a complete jackass as well" he said, looking at his shoes.

"What?" asked Danielle finally, with a confused grin.

"The way I acted in the labyrinth… I would totally understand if you were angry at me" Luka admitted with a guilty expression.

"The knight in shining armour trotted away to save his damsel in distress" Danielle told him with an over-exaggerated dramatic tone, making him chuckle in embarrassment. "How could I be mad at such a heroic guy?" she asked in return.

"Thanks" he replied with a smile. "You're the best."

"So… How did it go, by the way?" Danielle asked in return, sitting down on the couch, Luka following her.

After that, Luka stayed at her place for about an hour, talking not only about his heroic action of defeating some plastic skeletons, but some of his school friends, and the plans he has with them for the weekend. After seeing how much time has passed, he quickly hurried back home, leaving Danielle and Buzzy alone, so they could discuss everything Luka just told Dani.

Cat Noir was nervously waiting on the rooftop near the Guardian's place, waiting for Ladybug to arrive. He had conflicted feelings about Libella. On the one hand, he understood Ladybug's frustration towards her but felt like Ladybug made a big fuss about her situation. Plagg said that she could not side with any Miraculous user. He was used to accepting things he didn't understand or had no reason to question. Ladybug surely was more of the controlling type so he imagined how hard it might be for her to accept this.

"Cat Noir" he heard Ladybug, as she landed the rooftop next to him. "You got here early."

"Let's hope that curiosity won't kill this cat" he said, flirtatiously raising his eyebrows, earning the usual eyeroll from Ladybug, as she threw her yo-yo to get to Master Fu's rooftop.

As they entered, Master Fu already prepared some herbal tea for them and was entering the room with the Miracle Box in his hands, placing it in the middle of the table.

"Welcome, Ladybug and Cat Noir" Master Fu greeted them. "Please, have a seat. We have a lot of things to do.

"We do?" asked Cat Noir, looking at Ladybug questioningly, earning a clueless look from her.

"We sure do" Master Fu continued. "As you both know, your recent fights with Hawkmoth required the help of the Dragonfly Miraculous user."

"Yeah…" Ladybug said, rolling her eyes. "The neutral Libella."

"Yes" continued the Guardian, not acknowledging Ladybug's attitude toward her. "There is not much information about the unique situation on the Dragonfly Miraculous, but from what I know, the Order of the Guardians was once heavily against it. It is a long story… So instead of talking about what I read, I thought it would be easier to show you what happened" he said, motioning for them to drink the nasty tasting liquid along with him.

"But Master, how could you do that?" asked Ladybug, eyeing the tea.

"With our help, of course" said Wayzz excitedly, patting the Miracle Box.

"With the herbal mixture and the power of the kwamis, we will be able to temporarily travel back in time, as invisible observers" Master Fu explained.

"But how is that possible?" asked Cat Noir, exchanging disbelieving glances with Ladybug.

"Through the memories of the kwamis that were present at that time" said Wayzz with a small smile. "Partly that's why both of you were needed for this to work."

"Both of us…?" Ladybug mused, thinking. "Are you saying both Tikki and…"

"… and Plagg were there?" finished Cat Noir, finishing his tea with one big gulp. "I'm ready to see whatever happened" he added with an excited grin. With another worried look, Ladybug also drank her tea.

"Very well" said Master Fu with a smile. "Then we can start" he said, putting his hands on the Miracle Box, closing his eyes, Ladybug and Cat Noir following his moves.

"So… When does it start?" asked Cat Noir after a few silent seconds, but before he could say anything elso, he heard leaves rustling and felt the wind on his face.

Opening their eyes, they found themselves in front of a cemetery, with some people in old clothes and funny hats walking around, mostly exiting the cemetery as it was getting late.

"Nunhead Cemetery" Ladybug read the sigh with a questioning voice.

"Then we must be in London" said Master Fu after thinking for a bit. "And from the looks of it, around the 1920s of 1930s. But I'm not sure about that."

"So, how are we going to find them?" asked Cat Noir, but already knew the answer, as all three of them instinctively started looking the same direction.

They started walking, manoeuvring between the people and the graves, until they saw a lady standing and praying in front of a well-kept grave with closed eyes. She had a light lilac dress on with puffy sleeves, high waistline, and flared hemlines. She looked like any other woman they encountered during their walk, but they felt like she was different from the others. They stopped, hiding behind a grave, as if anyone could see them. Then they heard rustling of some leaves from their left, and looking around carefully, they saw several men wearing dark cloaks inching closer to the lady.

"What can I help the Order of Guardians out with?" the lady asked after taking a deep breath, finally opening her eyes.

"Wielder of the Dragonfly Miraculous" one of the cloaked men took off his hood. "With the current events unfolding… You must know why we're here."

"Is that…" Ladybug started asking.

"Yes, one of the main guardians" replied Master Fu.

"And if I'm correct, he brought a lot of his friends as well" added Cat Noir with an alarming voice, looking around.

"And what would that be, Guardian?" asked the lady calmly.

"Surely, I don't have to explain the situation to you" the man sighed, looking sympathetically at the lady. "We are in dire need of the Dragonfly Miraculous."

"And you know that me and my powers are at your disposal any time you need it" the lady replied with conviction. "Just as my family has always…"

"How dare you refuse" interrupted one of the cloaked guys.

"Your family possessing the Miraculous was already an offense towards the whole Order" another guy said with a more threatening tone.

"Huh, such imprudence and entitlement" a third voice said with spite.

"Silence" the first man said firmly. "I'm sorry, but you have to understand…." as he got no response, he sighed before continuing. "Please, hand over the Miraculous."

"What? Can they do that?" asked Cat Noir angrily.

"Why not?" asked Ladybug in return. "The Miraculous is supposed to be in the Guardians' possession, so I don't see why she is so special…" Ladybug commented with a hint of spite and anger in her voice, earning a surprised look from Cat Noir.

"My ancestor was entrusted with the Dragonfly Miraculous by the past Ladybug wielder to be an outsider and mediator among the Miraculous users" the lady started, surprising the three modern-day visitors. "And as far as I know, my family had never failed their tasks, neither as a Miraculous user, nor as an outside force in case of any inside matters."

"Their tasks?" someone taunted with a mocking voice. "Are you joking?"

"Your family is just a bunch of rogues" another voice called.

"That's right. You're no hero, just an outsider" another man shouted.

"I'm going to ask only once…" said the main guardian, silencing his men. "Hand over the Miraculous. Do you refuse to do it?"

"Do you refuse to respect the final wishes of the Ladybug wielder?" she asked in return, earning furrowed eyebrows and questioning looks from everyone. "Because if so, then the order has clearly no honour left among its members."

"Get the Miraculous" ordered the main guardian with a stern look.

"Stop right there" they heard a male voice from behind them.

"We cannot allow you to do that" a female voice echoed gravely.

"Ladybug? Cat Noir?" the guardian asked in disbelief. "What are you doing here? This is none of your business."

"Well, the guardians defying a decades-long promise…" the male started.

"… and ganging up on a fellow wielder sure sound like our business" the female added, with her hands on her hips.

"And ours as well" said another male voice, as several other figures appeared.

"Wielders" the guardian exclaimed. "Leave immediately. This matter doesn't concern you."

"But it concerns us" Tikki said, appearing behind the male.

"Yeah, don't you dare to hurt them" Plagg added with a threatening voice, sitting on the shoulder of the female, as some other kwamis appeared next to their Miraculous wielders.

"What on earth do you think you're doing?" asked the guardian.

"Standing up for our friend" the male Ladybug user said, exchanging glances with the female Cat wielder.

The next week, Luka was hanging out with his classmates in the music room during recess, preparing the instruments for the upcoming music class. His friends liked to tease him about his feelings for Marinette, which he just ignored. He often thought that when they find the one, like he did with Marinette, they will think back how silly they acted around him for being in love.

"At least have you finished the song for her?" one of his very good friends, Matthieu asked.

He was probably the only one who didn't make fun of him. He was a really kind and funny and a very handsome guy, proven by the numerous girlfriends he'd already had. He was somewhat of the opposite, compared to Luka. If Matthieu thought that a girl looked cute, he just asked them out on a date. He didn't need to have feelings for them, he just enjoyed spending time with pretty girls, as he described it. So the other guys just labelled him as a serial-dater, often asking him who his next target will be.

"Not yet" he replied, turning to Matt, as the others around them teased him, making make-believe stories of him as Romeo with a lyre below Juliet's balcony. "I was thinking of something like this" he said, not even reacting to his other classmates, as he played some of the accords on a classroom guitar. "But I always get stuck at this part."

"Maybe some freestyling with the boys would give you some extra inspiration" another classmate, Dennis added, already sitting beside the drum set.

"Yeah, maybe I can also be your muse, prince charming" another boy, Alex added with a silly face, making all of them laugh.

"He wants to impress that girl, not scare her away" Matt grinned, dodging a maraca flying his way, as Luka's phone chimed.

"Uhhh, is that her?" cooed Dennis, making Luka roll his eyes with a smile as he checked his phone.

It was actually her. In a way. She posted a series of photos on social media about the park cleanup that her class was doing as part of the Waste Management Week of their school. Almost simultaneously, many of her classmates did the same, posing together in their green reflective jackets, doing before-after comparison shots, or just ridiculing Chloé for being disgusted at every single piece of trash she had to pick up (or make others pick up). As the others gather around Luka to check what was so interesting, there was a picture that Alya posted that caught the attention of Matt.

"Hey, can you scroll back a bit?" he asked with great interest, as Luka did so with a questioning face.

The picture in question was taken was of Nino and Danielle sitting on the edge of the fountain, with their legs in the water, while Alix was splashing water on them, all of them seemingly laughing.

"Oh my GOD" Matt exclaimed. "Who is that girl?"
