"What are you thinking about" asked Buzzy, sitting down next to Dani on the floor of an empty room.

She was deep in thoughts. Last week was eventful. The doctor's meeting during the weekend, them finally moving to the new house, Marinette's birthday party where Danielle was not invited, and that strange girl, Lila… Most people in the class like her, except Marinette and maybe Adrien. And obviously Chloé, but Chloé doesn't like anyone, so that's nothing new. And Lila seems to hate Marinette and Ladybug, but Dani was wondering if the girl knew that the two were actually the same person. Probably not, or at least she hoped not.

"Dani…?" the kwami flew in front of her, grabbing her attention. "Are you sad about Marinette's party?" Buzzy asked with a sympathetic voice.

"Why are you asking?" Dani asked in return, raising her eyebrows.

"You just seem strange since you saw the pictures" Buzzy added, settling on her shoulder.

"I mean, it must have been nice, they seemed to have fun" sighed Dani. "But I'm still just the new girl. It takes more time for people to make friends. I had no reason to expect them to invite me. But I'm a bit worried about Lila."

"Lila?" Buzzy asked, thinking for a bit. "But why? She seems such a nice and popular girl. She just has some strange illness."

"I'm not so sure about that, Buzz" Danielle replied, with a grim expression.

As she looked out of the window, she saw hundreds of wasps flying through the city, entering open doors and windows to houses and shops. He heard her father gasp from his room, so she quickly made her way toward him, closely followed by Buzzy. Seeing her father motionlessly stand in his room, surrounded by a handful of glowing wasps, she quickly transformed to her water form. As she did, the wasps made their way in her direction, ready to sting.

"Buzzy, Aqua Sphere" she ordered, drawing a circle around her with her hand, as she was surrounded by a light layer of water, stopping the wasps in confusion. "What on earth is happening again" she whispered, looking at his father, but with a heavy heart, she left to find out what the situation was outside.

Jumping through the rooftops, carefully avoiding the wasps and people, she saw the commotion in front of the Eiffel-tower. Every now and then she felt a strange shockwave run through her body, giving her an increasing headache. As she got closer, she realised that it had something to do with the powers of one of the Miraculouses. The constant rewinding of time and events messed with her head, but she seemed unaffected by those powers. Stopping a few blocks away from them, she saw Ladybug and Cat Noir fighting with other Miraculous users inside a water dome, surrounded by those pesky wasps, and a seemingly akumatised Chloé standing there with… The Miracle Box? What? But what looked even more concerning was two other wielders standing on top of a building, with a monstrous moth-like creature attacking the Guardian. Looking at the man and woman besides, assuming they used the Peacock and Butterfly Miraculouses, the realisation hit her. She met these people before. What an absolute hot mess this was… But right now, she didn't have time to think about this. She wanted to help Marinette and her friends, but she couldn't. She shouldn't pick sides; she is not allowed to do that. But there must be something she can do…

"…Hawk Moth isn't my enemy. He's yours" Chloé argued, pointing at Ladybug angrily. "And the Miracle Box is mine."

Glancing at the commotion below and then the distracted man and woman on the rooftop, she understood that this might be her chance. As Chloé was putting the various jewellery on, a plan was forming in Danielle's head, however, she had to confirm her beliefs with Buzzy first. So it was time for a quick de-transformation and chat with her kwami friend.

"I still have one move left, Hawk Moth" Ladybug said confidently, throwing her yo-yo to summon the Lucky Charm.

With a clear plan and the approval of Buzzy, Danielle took a deep breath and jumped on the rooftop just behind Master Fu under his cracking shield. As the item landed in Ladybug's hand, she quickly held it in her closed dist.

"There's no way" Ladybug whispered, refusing to accept that this was her last chance, offered by the Lucky Charm.

"What is it, M'Lady?" asked Cat Noir in confusion.

"There's nothing you can do. My plan was perfect" Hawk Moth laughed maniacally. "You can't beat me."

"This can't be happening" Ladybug groaned, clutching the object in her fist, getting a worried look from Cat Noir.

"What is wrong, Ladybug?" asked Longg, flying closer to her, as the surprised voices of the other kwamis could be heard when they looked up to the rooftop.

"My oh my" Libella inhaled sharply. "The infamous Butterfly and Peacock wielders. And your…" she stopped, thinking, before looking at the huge creature. "…pet."

"You" Hawk Moth groaned angrily, raising his cane to point at her, as Mayura took a step back. "Another one of your allies won't be enough to defeat me, Ladybug" he shouted, looking down at the also furious hero.

"I'm not her ally" Libella stated simply, still eyeing the flying creature that suddenly stopped damaging the Guardian's shield. "And I'm not here to defeat you."

"What?" the heroes and villains almost simultaneously asked, as Master Fu curiously looked at the Dragonfly user.

"What do you mean, Libella?" asked Cat Noir with a confused voice.

Ladybug first looked at Libella with an angry expression, but checking all the kwamis around, she saw that they weren't too surprised by the events currently unfolding.

"How rude of me" Libella sighed, bowing slightly as she introduced herself. "I'm Libella. Wielder of the Dragonfly. And I'm here to help you resolve your conflicts" she calmly said, earning a very confused look from Hawk Moth and his companion. "Think of me as your personal therapist. Like… like a marriage counsellor, but for Miraculous users" she grinned proudly, as Hawk Moth and Mayura, and Ladybug and Cat Noir looked at each other in disbelief.

"Is… Is this some kind of twisted plan of yours, to…" Hawk Moth started to go off on her, but was shut down by Libella.

"Whatever you reason might be for akumatising people and trying to get hold of other Miraculouses" Libella said with a reassuring voice. "I'm sure we can figure something out to help you. Without hurting people, that is."

"Are you kidding right now?" asked Ladybug, enraged. "Now you're trying to help him?"

"Nonsense" Hawk Moth frowned in frustration. "Sentimonster, get rid of her" he ordered, making Libella sigh, as she reached to her puzzle ring.

"Buzzy, Borrowed Time: 1 second" she said simply, turning her puzzle ring 90° clockwise on her finger. The only people affected by its effects this time, however, were only Master Fu and herself. "As you know, Master, I am not allowed to pick sides" she said, looking at him with a determined face. "But I am obliged to take into consideration the protection of the Guardians and the well-being of the kwamis."

After a few seconds of thinking, Master Fu knew what she was planning, and he de-transformed quickly, looking at her with thankful eyes.

"I assume Ladybug can take care of the Miracle Box later but right now, I have to take you to a safe place" she said, offering her hand to the Guardian. "At least a safer place" she added with a bittersweet smile.

"Thank you, Libella" he said, accepting the free ride. "I'll show you the way" he said, navigating her through the streets of Paris, to a house whose location only he knew, keeping an uncomfortable silence the whole time.

"Guess our time is over" Libella said, as her puzzle ring clicked back to its original place a few seconds after they arrived at the location. Looking back at the direction of the Eiffel-tower, she sighed with a heavy heart. "The rest of it is up to them."

"Libella" Master Fu grabbed her arm, just as she was about to leave. "This must be a tough situation for you, but… Please, don't harbour resentment towards Ladybug. She's just, how should I say it…"

"Not ready" Libella finished simply, as Master Fu nodded in agreement, letting go of her arm. "Take care, Master" she said before leaving the Guardian at his hiding place.

As she was getting further from the Guardian's place, she de-transformed after a few blocks, silently walking home with a tired Buzzy in her pocket. Her mind was going haywire, trying to comprehend the things that happened. She saw the Lucky Charm return everything and everyone to normal, as she passed by the still stunned people, wondering what happened to them. She had no idea how the two Miraculouses got into the hands of Mr. Agreste, and why he was trying to get the others. And now Chloé was seemingly on his side as well. A side… Either Ladybug and the good guys, or against her with the bad guys, huh. Ladybug didn't like the way of the Dragonfly, and honestly, it was something that Danielle herself found hard to understand at the beginning. But after today's shenanigans, she was sure that even Cat Noir thought of her as an enemy of some sort. Arriving to their house, she just sat down on the front porch, silently staring in front of her.

The day after the incident, Marinette and Master Fu met up in secret, to discuss how to proceed with the safe keeping of the Miracle Box and the rest of the Miraculouses. To ensure the safety of the Miracle Box, Master Fu decided to transfer the Guardian duties to Marinette, and he would just stay as a silent helper in case she had any questions or issues. As his link as a Guardian was terminated, the Miracle Box turned into a different shape, allowing only Marinette to open it. After some advice from Master Fu, Marinette returned home, eyeing the Miraclo Box on her desk.

"What are you thinking about, Marinette?" asked Tikki, sensing the conflict in her.

"I don't know about this, Tikki. Me being a guardian?" replied Marinette with a slight fear in her voice.

"Master Fu said that you'll be a great new guardian. And I'm also sure you could do it" Tikki said enthusiastically. "And just think about it, now if you need some help, you don't have to look for Master Fu. He won't be in danger anymore. You don't have to worry about that from now on."

"Uh… I guess you're right" Marinette finally sighed, still deep in thought. "Tikki… How come none of the kwamis is bothered by what Libella is doing?"

"Mari… The Dragonfly and Buzzy are not bad and they don't mean any harm" Tikki started with a sympathetic look.

"Buzzy?" asked Marinette in return.

"Buzzy is the kwami for the Dragonfly" Tikki explained. "They've always helped not only Ladybug and I, but whatever the issue was among the Miraculous users, they were there to figure out a solution. Sometimes they have a weird way to do so, but they always help."

"That's one way to say it…" groaned Marinette. "Were there many issues and fights in the past? Like the one we have now?" she asked curiously.

"Umm… well… it happened every now and then" admitted Tikki. "Sometimes people have motives we can't understand right away. Or just use the wrong methods to get what they want."

"Well, that sound very cryptic" murmured Marinette, earning a chuckle from her kwami, when her phone suddenly buzzed. "Oh no, I'm late again" she panicked, seeing a message from Luka.

"Did you forget your date with Luka, again?" asked Tikki, laughing, as Marinette frantically wrote a short message to Luka and then ran off to her date.

L: *Hey.*

D: *Hey.*

D: *What's up?*

L: *Waiting for Marinette.*

D: *Late for a date?*

L: *Yeah. Again.*

D: *Oh, come on, Prince Charming."

D: *There's a saying about… Idk, like the correct girl is worth the wait? Or something like that.*

D: *:D :D*

Looking around to see if Marinette is around, Luka checked back on his messages with Danielle, rolling his eyes with a grim face.

L: *Oh is there…?*

L: *Are you sure it's not something you just made up?"

D: *No… Why would I do that?*

L: *Don't know.*

Luka was staring at his phone, typing…

L: *To make me feel better?*

Then decided not to send it. He knew that he's just being angry because he hates waiting. Even if it is Marinette he has to wait for. Thankfully, Danielle was just continuing what she started writing earlier.

D: *Maybe I'm just not very good at remembering proverbs of foreign languages.*

D: *I mean… I guess even if you don't have a saying like that.*

D: *Some other country can, right? :D*

Now that he started thinking about it… He wasn't sure where Dani was from. Or what languages she can speak. Maybe he should ask her about that later.

L: *Sure. If you say so… :)*

L: *Umm… Prince Charming?*

He finally smiled to himself, reading back her message. He could see that she was typing… Then stopped… Then started typing again… And stopped. Maybe he should've put a smiling emoji at the end so it wouldn't look too serious.

D: *Definitely. You're Marinette's Prince Charming. Always ready to save her. Not on a white horse, though, but a blue bike.*

He started wondering about how she knows that he has a blue bike, but then was distracted by the idea of him riding a horse through Paris, making him chuckle.

L: *Now that you mention it, I think I would look good on a white horse, just casually*

"Luka" he heard Marinette shouting, looking up from his phone, exiting the messages before finishing or sending the sentence.

"Hi Marinette" he replied, giving his signature warm smile.

Danielle saw the three dots, indicating that Luka was typing something. But after a few minutes, she figured that waiting for the message to arrive might be foolish. Marinette probably arrived on the date, and Luka just didn't finish writing her the message he started. With a heavy heart, she closed the app and started focusing on arranging her bad horror movie collection.
