One week later
Across the galaxy near the targeted medical facility
"Here we go," Anakin Skywalker said, adjusting the course of his ship as he flew forward.
Behind him, the rest of Shadow Squadron and Master Plo Koon followed. The entire strike team had just finished taking a 'shortcut' through a nebula filled with giant mantas in an attempt to catch up to new separatist leader General Grievous. The cyborg commanded a massive battlecruiser, known as the Malevolence, towards one of the Republic's medical stations.
The dreadnought was equipped with a weapon the Republic has never seen before: a massive ion cannon that could disable all electronics caught within its blast, including entire fleets. Suppose they didn't manage to intercept Grievous. In that case, he'd be able to use the cannon and render the medical station and its inhabitants—over sixty thousand injured clones—helpless to being bombarded.
Hence the reason they had taken their 'shortcut' and were flying Y-wing bombers. If they could reach the Malevolence before it reached the station, they could blast Grievous to pieces and destroy the ship's ion cannon. Plo Koon noticed that one of the ships next to him was trailing smoke as they continued their flight. Opening the comlink, he asked, "Shadow Two, how damaged is your ship?"
The clone piloting the ship, quickly responded "Just a scratch, sir. It's nothing to worry about." Even so, the Plo Koon loudly grunted. "We must not take any more unnecessary risks. If even one of us were to fall, it would make destroying Grievous and that cannon that much harder," he warned.
Anakin frowned. "Except that, we didn't lose any ships, and I won't-" he began before he was interrupted by Shadow Three, who said, "Sir, I'm picking up a large contact on the scanners."
In the gunner's seat of Anakin's ship, Ahsoka Tano, his padawan, said, "I thought those mantas wouldn't follow us outside the nebula." Shadow Three replied, "It's not the space creatures that are following us. It's a separatist ship, and it's coming out of hyperspace." A moment later, he said, "Sir, it's the Malevolence."
True to the clone's word, a moment later, the massive Separatist capital ship appeared ahead of them, flying straight for the medical station.
Aboard the ship's bridge, General Grievous noticed several transport ships fleeing the station while their scanners detected a bomber team was coming towards them.
"Launch the droid fighters and turn this ship into attack position. I want casualties maximized. Target the transports first," he ordered.
The ship's droids responded with a programmed "Roger, roger," and began charging the ion cannon. It took several seconds to fire, but it released a massive circle of crackling purple energy straight at the republic transports once it did. Not able to steer out of the way or jump to hyperspace, the ships were caught in the blast and completely dead, all defenses down.
The laser turrets mounted along the Malevolence opened fire dozens of red speeder-sized blasts borrowed towards their targets immediately. The transports were now floating in space, so picking them off was more straightforward than finding a friendly Nexu. If he had the ability to do so, Grievous would have even smiled.
"Recharge the cannon and prepare to fire again."
"But sir, some of our forces will be caught in the blast," one of the droids protested in hopes he could save his forces.
Grievous growling is disgust, responded in kind.
"Fire at my command." Meanwhile, the craft had released several squads of Vulture droids, all of which were flying towards Skywalker's strike team. Both sides began firing on one another, and the droid ships scattered to surround them. "Keep it steady, guys. Hold formation," Anakin ordered.
But that soon proved impossible, and they were forced to break up to avoid being shot into pieces. Anakin grunted as he ducked and weaved through the enemy fire. "Get those fighters off of us!" he ordered.
"Your fancy flying isn't helping!" Ahsoka shot back, struggling even to aim while her Master kept swerving around. Then the ion cannon fired and came straight for them, prompting them all to begin flying towards the edge of the blast. The higher they flew, however, the more they noticed that one of them was lagging. "Shadow 2, what's wrong?" Ahsoka asked.
"Nothing, ma'am. Just trying to keep it together," Matchstick said. But in truth, he was struggling more than he was letting on. The previous damage to his ship was getting worse, and the trail of smoke from his thruster was growing larger. A few seconds later, the clone's thruster exploded, causing him to lose control and begin spiraling back downwards. "Look out!" he called to the ships below him.
While two were able to dodge the falling ship, one did not, and both of them went up in a cloud of fire and shrapnel. Additionally, three vessels didn't reach the edge of the ion blast in time and were caught in it. Although he didn't want to hear it, he knew he had to say it. "Shadow Squadron, check-in," he said. Ahsoka, sounding much more subdued than before, reported.
"We lost Matchstick and Tag. the blast caught shadows Six, Seven, and Ten", the entire group was now five ships down. Not counting Plo Koon meant that only seven of them left to strike at the Malevolence. With their Vulture droids disabled, the enemy ship opened fire with its turrets, not giving Shadow Squadron any time to rest while trying to avoid the shots. "Stay on course!" Plo Koon ordered.
The team reached the Malevolence and began flying along its hull towards the bridge. Instantly Shadow Five was blasted from the side by several turret shots, and his ship crashed into the cruiser. Ahsoka gasped, dismayed at seeing another fellow team member fall. "Master," she began before wincing as an explosion went off right next to them. "We need a new plan!" she urged him.
But Anakin shook his head, saying, "Don't worry, Snips. We can make it!" Only for Shadow Seven to be blown apart as well. "Master, you can make it, but everyone else is getting shot to pieces!" Ahsoka urged. Suddenly, the Malevolence side began glowing purple, showing that the ion cannon was preparing to fire. And this time, it was aimed at the medical station. Anakin looked forward, past the laser fire before them and towards the bridge.
They could do it.
They could keep going forward, fire at the bridge, and take out this monster of a ship. All it would cost was the medical station. And as much as he wanted to destroy that cyborg, he couldn't accept that cost. However, just before he could issue a new target, he heard Plo Koon speak up.
"Uhh, General Skywalker, I'm picking up several large contacts coming out of hyperspace. They don't appear to be Republic ships! And they're coming in Faster than normal speeds!" he said in a pitch that made everyone listening worried as a sense of dread stoked their veins. The Jedi shrugged the feeling off as it was just Separatist reinforcements.
"Reinforcements for this stupid cyborg, Just great," Anakin thought. Out loud, he told the rest of the squad.
"Then get ready. Things are about to get messy!" he shouted into the mic, he took a deep breath for the upcoming fight, but all the breath was seemingly taken out of him by what came out of hyperspace.
"I think that's the understatement of—What the Kriff?!" Ahsoka yelled into the comm, her Gaze looking towards the location off to their left, where their scanner detected the ships. The rest of them looked as well… and saw for themselves what had startled Ahsoka so much.
What they saw come out of hyperspace wasn't just the several sizable ships that appeared on the scanners.
Instead, over a hundred smaller heavy cruiser-sized ships were quickly eight hundred meters long and half as wide, all ships being escorted on the edges by close to a thousand Corvette and freighter class ships. The ships were all decked out in black coats of some type of metallic alloy, its color seemingly blending into the empty space around it. The only thing that made it visible was the bright orange florescent outlines made of lights on the edges and the blue hue of large magnetic hanger shields. Still, seemingly there was no visible bridge meaning the bridge was inside the ship.
Of the seven large vessels, the Jedi and the clones saw six unusual-styled Dreadnought length vessels that forked in the middle to what appeared to be a super laser cannon. These ships were a dozen times larger than the smaller Battleship class ships.
But what everyone was staring at was the one giant, impossibly big, Capital ship that was leading the unknown Fleet.
It looked to be couple times bigger than the Malevolence, easily Fifty thousand meters in length.
Looming over them Unkowenly to them was called The first of its kind, nicknamed The Punisher class capital ship. The vessel was loaded with thousands upon thousands of blaster and ion cannons covering the ship, but what caught Anakin's eye was the symbol on the sides of all the ships, an outline of what looked like the Jedi order symbol but different, covered with a humanlike skull circled by lava colored flames.
He had a large pit in his stomach, and it seemed to get worse as the seconds ticked by.
(Inner Bridge of the Emperors capital ship)
Christen looked on at the republics failing attempts to destroy the separatist ship, the tactics of the Republic repulsed him, so many lives lost simply because the Jedi were generals, they had no military insight, to what the records show they haven't had any military understanding for almost a thousand years.
Sensing the unmistakable vergence in the force that was his brother, christen instantly knew he was part of the attacking team; this made him pause to think of sparing the Republic from being annihilated under the wrath of his childish notions of wanting to test out his new toys. He decided to go forth with the plan, it bothered him to think he could potentially kill his brother, but he knew his brother well enough that he was sure to be okay.
What bothered him was his army and fleets' names. His masters never settled on a name. Was it the saviors fleet? Was it the punishers fleet? His thoughts went straight back to his brother and the now awkward situation that laid before him. As much as he wanted not to kill his brother, he really couldn't hold off his attack any longer. Turning to his newly appointed Fleet Admiral, Curtis Vibro from Dromund Kaas, the newest addition in his empire, in time, he would need to visits the Empress that would have to relinquish her control of the planet in front of her people.
"Fleet Admiral, Alert all Generals to enact all defensive weapons when we deploy, and Admiral!" he spoke calmly as the Torguta man in question gave a fisted salute to his chest, head tails flailing around his shoulders as he does.
"Ye-Yes, your Majesty," Vibro stuttered out in anticipation and slight fear.
" I want personnel on level two hundred to ready the Yashan TK transport torpedo Squads, I want five of them to be ready for launch within three minutes, give each squad a back up of twelve HK-72's, I wish to test the Emperor's most elite troops, I would like this to be their first field test, I have no doubt that is acceptable" he expressed as he made eye contact with his orange and yellow-skinned Admiral, even though the helmet covered his face the man before him still flinched at the Movement of his Emperors Helmet, to be even Near a Man as Mysterious and Powerful of his emperor was a nerve-racking job.
A shivering Fleet Admiral nodded and took off in a jog to shout at the pilot droids and other personnel within the room who were already either typing in commands or staring at the pair as they awaited their orders.
Christen turned them out as he sat upon his throne and looked at the large screen in the "bridge" that sat in the middle of the large ship, well away from any exterior damage the capital ship would take, a few minutes of watching the hundred or so men and droids on the bridge run around the various screen and computors.
He had Vibro hurridly running up to him as he was told the troops were ready.
Christen thought to himself, 'This is where the fun begins.' as he laughed loud enough that his admirals and generals aboard his capital ship were looking at him as though he was a crazy man who now struck fear into everyone within sight of his Fleet.
Even the Malevolence and their accompanying soulless-filled ships were all frozen in shock and awe at the arrival of this sudden and overwhelmingly colossal Fleet.
None of the Jedi in the republic fleet had even seen these varieties of ship designs before, and even Anakin was having a Hard time thinking of a planet that could have housed a capital ship of such size under the gaze of the Republic.
Anakin estimated the capital ship was at least fifty KM long.
He could see the surface of each ship was loaded to the max with firepower, a crawling surface of machinery capable of spewing bolts of laser fire the size of the clone's drop ship shuttles.
The first ones in the system to come out of their shock were Grievous and the droids, and that was only due to them noticing that the six lead ships had fired five odd reddish escape pod-like missiles at the Malevolence.
The projectiles violently struck the side of the ship, burrowing straight through its exterior. The Republic Fighter's quietly watched in awe at the ships as the separatists were seemingly rocked by the Pods, which bored the ship's capital steel.
(on the Malevolence)
Once inside, separatist droids that lay in the ship's corridors crowded around the pods, tripping over each other as they suddenly stood still in confusion as they heard a loud hiss than an exploding pop as a stream of while steam filled the hallway, only for it to deposit out of nowhere several squads of pitch-black droids with orange shoulder plating, menacing seven-foot-tall droids, their figure somewhat reminiscent to a human but more stretched and built with metal. Behind them were Six tall humanoid armored figures, each carrying heavy weaponry, enough to light up an entire firing range.
As soon as each figure exited the smoke, they began to open fire. The Separatist's droids in the hallway got mowed down within a few seconds, and the team moved on as if they had done nothing and set out on their mission for the Emperor.
Alarms quickly began going off all over the bridge, and General Grievous looked around in shock. "What just happened? Give me a damn report, you useless droid!" he yelled.
One of the droids closest to him responded, "General, we appear to have been boarded! Unknown Enemy forces are being spotted on all several decks. They seem to be heading here, the hangar bay's and the reactor of the ion cannon!"
The Kaleesh cyborg snarled. "Send all available forces to those decks! I want this enemy destroyed at all costs!" he demanded.
In his mind, it was the first time he was scared because he knew he could not destroy this unknown Fleet. The capital ship's size made him feel like less than a bug stuck on a shuttle cruiser; such should have been impossible, but here he was, Dooku will hear about his displeasure.
Meanwhile, the republics' Shadow Squadron, who had been watching until now, decided to act. "Whoever's chosen to help us, they've got the Malevolence occupied. Now's our chance to take out that cannon!" Plo Koon said. Anakin who smiled as he could see the unknown vessels attacking Grievous. "Alright, guys, we have a new target. Move to target the starboard ion cannon!" Anakin called.
The rest of the strike team readily agreed, and they all switched courses for their new target. They still had to dodge flak from the turrets, but now most of it was focused on their new ally. Once they were close enough, Anakin called, "Torpedoes away!" Each of them fired their torpedoes at the ion cannon, causing a succession of blasts that shook the Malevolence.
A high-pitched keening began to issue from the ion cannon, though none heard it since they were in space.
Indeed, Grievous had the cannon switch targets to the enemy fleet and called "Fire!"
The moment the cannon opened fire, it exploded in a blast so forcefully that it rocked the entire ship from side to side and also caused the ion cannon on the port side to detonate as well.
Not knowing the only reason the ion didn't fire was be because of the unknown fleet Special forces aboard the Dreadnaught taking the reactor core just a mere moments ago, sacrificing a few droids in the explosion.
Shadow Squadron began flying towards the medical station, cheering.
"Good work, everyone!" Plo Koon congratulated.
The rest of them grinned; Anakin then received an incoming transmission. Obi-Wan was with the three Republic cruisers that were supposed to finish the job of destroying the Malevolence. "Anakin, do you copy? Have you and the rest of the strike team completed your objective?" he asked.
Anakin grinned. "Somewhat. We've destroyed their ion cannons, though Grievous is still alive. But don't worry, Master. It looks like someone else has that handled for us" he said. Obi-Wan raised an eyebrow. "Someone else? What do you mean?...?"
Obi-Wan got his answer when his cruisers came out of hyperspace and saw the massive Fleet firing upon the Malevolence. "…Oh. So that's what you meant," the Jedi general stated.
Groaning loudly as he thought of the fact that he would be the one to tell the Council of this new predicament.
Aboard the Malevolence, Grievous rose to his feet, trying to shake off the slight cobwebs that had come with being knocked to the floor. "Damage report," he ordered.
"The Republic forces seemed to have destroyed both of our primary weapons, Sir, but it seems that the power source from the Kyber Crystal has also been taken by the troopers aboard from the foreign fleet, and also they have also disabled our hyperdrive," one of the B1 droids reported.
Grievous was silent for a moment, causing two of the droids to look at each other. In their experience, whenever the General was quiet, it meant one of two things. Either he was fully satisfied or completely outraged.
It turned out to be the latter. Grievous roared in rage and swung his arm, smashing the head of one of the droids completely from its shoulders. To the rest of them, he said, "Begin a full retreat. Make for Separatist space. And destroy those borders!
Anakin, Plo Koon, and Ahsoka entered the center of the medical station.
The station's head doctor, Nala Sea tall specimen for even her species, bowed at their arrival. "General Skywalker, I wanted to thank you for your valiant effort today. Do not take the lives you saved lightly," she said. Anakin nodded. "I won't, but I can't take the lives we lost lightly either. Nor were we solely responsible for the mission's success...unfortunately," he said solemnly.
The clone that had been standing closest to Nala spoke up.
"Actually, General, it's a good thing that you mentioned that. Just minutes ago, the medical station received a single holo-message from this unexplained Fleet. We were going to replay it to General Kenobi. But since you're here, you might want to see it first." he said.
At Anakin's nod of approval, the Kaminoan pressed a few buttons on the control panel before the message appeared in front of them.
It showed a tall, intimidating figure who they could see was in a Mandalorian-styled armor covered by a cape so black it seemed to suck in the light around the frame. This Beast or man was strangely Similar to the Hapen King.
It was hard to guess since the man before him was wearing different armor with the symbols of Jedi, sith, and two unknown insignia's adorning his chest and shoulder plates. Alongside him stood four troopers in body armor holding massive unusual-looking firearms strapped to their backs and sides.
The Trooper's armor consisted of black and blood-colored plating along their torso, shoulders, arms, and waist, with metal boots of the same color, and each had different designs. They resembled like they handed me downs rather than custom-made.
They also seemed to be young, very young teenagers at the least. Most notable, however, were the weapons the troops were carrying and had on stand-by.
Two held large staffs that matched their armor, while the others… carried either one or two lightsabers on their belts. The designs seemed to be simple, hardening the fact these troopers were young.
As the Jedi could see, the leader carried four lightsabers clipped on his belt, very reminiscent of his Wife's guard.
Both Anakin and Ahsoka stared at each other in confusion. The clones stood silent as they waited for the strange party to speak. Still, the feeling of confusion almost overwhelmed the Jedi, seeing that some of the troops wielded lightsabers and heavy armor, plus the fact they are in charge of a massive fleet.
But were the troopers all Force-sensitive children or just merely small adults? Despite the questions running through their heads, both Jedi focused on the tallest armored Figure to the left of the man, almost a few inches bigger than his padawan. It was then that he? She? Spoke, the Jedi couldn't tell as their voice was obviously distorted through a speaker box.
"Representatives of the Galactic Republic and the Jedi order." the figure stated proudly with an audible thud when the trooper banged their fist over their heart.
"In the name of our glorious Emperor Savior and the Grandmaster of the Jedaii order, you have been given this warning." the trooper paused as if sensing their shock at the declaration. It also shifted their head to the tall figure, it simply nodded, and the warrior continued to speak.
"The Savior's Empire has been let Loose Upon your Galaxy, by the end of the day, the Spinward, Dalonibian, Veragi, Gree, Mieru'kar, and Chopani sectors will belong to the Empire! We will not pick any sides in this way but our own, for the corruption of the separatists and Republic run too deep, for the crimes upon the force and the people of this galaxy none of you deserve to be saved from what is to come. We recommend you see this as a goodwill gesture as we could easily blow you out of existence with even our smaller warships." the figure paused with another glace towards the massive armored man, who simply nodded once more. He didn't need to say a single word, as if he was below such things. The Jedi could feel the strength and power emanating from the man. It was a beacon of darkness and light. It both confused the Jedi and terrified them.
"We only attacked this separatist ship because of information and objectives it held that we're of interest to our Emperor, We will carve our way to the core, the Jedi will fear our warriors, the droids will fear our own, and the galaxy will see Slavery end, the Empire will show you power, the Empire will show you No MERCY, AND THE EMPIRE WILL BATH IN THE FIRES OF WAR! FOR THE EMPEROR!" the rest of the soldiers and droids in the background shouted the last words in unison as the screen disappeared.
The message ended with the whole room too shocked even to say a word. The Jedi and clones heard hundreds of explosions rupture the blackness of space. Before their eyes, the tens of thousands of blue flames of the engines thrusters belonging to The so-called Savior's Empire turned from the Malevolence's debris. They stayed in this position as the people onboard the medical station and the republican Fleet could easily see dozens of Shuttles seemingly darting through the rubble as they picked scraps being loaded into the Saviors Corvette ships that lay on the outer edges of the Fleet, as soon as the last shuttle left the view of the Republic the Fleet quickly disappeared as it entered hyperspace, the silent Fleet leaving no trace they were there besides the wreckage.
One week later...
The Jedi Council sat in a circle as they watched the holorecording replay itself.
For once, all twelve Council members were currently present for the emergency meeting, even the ones who had been off-world when the events regarding the Malevolence took place.
The mysterious Fleet that appeared had annihilated the ship in mere moments, dealing irreparable damage to its exterior after only seconds of sustained laser fire. Then the droids and troops that boarded the vessel re-wired the ships' navigation systems to fly itself into a nearby star, not even leaving any wreckage behind. Unfortunately for the Republic, This Emperor had ensured that General Grievous had escaped in his personal Starfighter before the ship's destruction.
He had been the only one to do so—then, once the Malevolence was confirmed to be destroyed, the Fleet of warships had jumped to hyperspace, leaving as suddenly as they had appeared.
The only proof they had even been there in the first place was the eyewitness accounts of all the Republic forces that had been present and the message they had left behind.
The news that other Force-users and Strange Empire's were in the galaxy was not unheard of.
However, never had they heard of a group of them that had gathered into such formidable militaristic strength. Even worse, the number of people the Jedi were estimating that composing this group was even more worrying.
They had no idea how widespread the group was, only that they had taken control of the northernmost part of mapped space. In the message, the Empire is said to have taken control of six sectors, and from the reports of hundreds of thousands of pirates escaping such a force, it would seem they were successful in taking the sectors.
So the Council had convened for the subject when all of the Council could be Physically present.
The Emperor's image faded away. Grandmaster Yoda looked around at his fellow Council members. "Dangerous and unknown, this new threat is, find how widespread they are, we must. What have we to report, Hmm?" he asked.
Master Ki-Adi-Mundi went first. "I have been thoroughly searching the Jedi archives for some kind information regarding these Jedaii or of this Saviors Empire they spoke of. However, except for a single passage regarding the planet Tython, there was no information to speak of as most of the Jedi records before Revan have either been destroyed or incomplete, even Revans history was speckled with holes," he said begrudgingly.
Mace Windu raised an eyebrow. "Well then, let's hear it," he said.
Mundi cleared his throat before pulling out a datapad. "Tython, it seems, is the birthplace of this ancient Order, and it appears that it was also the birthplace of the Jedi, or at least this text hints to that being a fact. Anyway, During this time, the planet is said to be in close proximity of the Galaxy's center, deep within the deep core, it seems the Galaxy was protected by the Jedaii for more than eleven thousand years, the enforcers of justice, and in the balance of the force as they called it.
then the book had its last page written in blood on the bottom
All will either be saved or fall to the Jedaii before the balance is corrupted, the One' choose the chosen, and create its protector, choosing its Child to be the hammer that keeps balance intact, the chosen one and the Child of the Ones shall have their destinies intertwined in eternity, the fires of war shall turn their clocks, as the Galaxy drowns in death and decay," he read gravely.
For a moment, there was only silence.
Obi-Wan couldn't help but state, "Well, that was certainly cheerful. Might you want to tell us when we die next?." Master Shaak Ti couldn't help but snort at that, though she quickly recollected herself and looked over at Mundi.
"Is that all? were there truly no other entries about either subject?" she asked.
Mundi shook his head. "Nothing even close to recent; even when I tried to look for Tython on the astrogation charts, and Jedi lore on the planet, all I could find was that it seems to be a planet living in balance with the force along with a dark side nexus moon and a light side nexus moon, it sounds impossible, but with the force many things are possible, but as for the Jedaii, no results appeared. It was as if the Order completely disappeared from historical records, or it was the consequence of someone deleting them from the archives," he said.
That caused several of them, Obi-Wan in particular, to narrow their eyes. The last time they had heard of a planet that "didn't exist," that planet had turned out to not only exist but housed an alien species responsible for growing an entire army of clone troopers that is now seemingly tearing the senate apart.
As it was, Yoda said, "Very well. And the next report?" Plo Koon leaned forward, pressing a few buttons on his datapad and causing a holo-image of one of the smaller frigates to appear in the center of the room. "While we haven't been able to acquire or even majorly damage one of the ships to study, the Fleet has been making several very brief appearances over the past few weeks in various parts of the Galaxy, well other than the northern sectors. During each of these events, we've been able to gather some information as to their workings."
"First of all, each ship of the Fleet seems identical to one another in design. The weaponry on each ship is another story altogether. This is both good and bad. Good, because that means that if we find a way to disable or find a weakness of one warship, we can hypothetically incapacitate them all with selective strikes. Bad news: we still don't know anything other than the exterior, and we have no idea what is inside. We know that each one, even down to small supply shuttles, possesses quite formidable capabilities on their own and much more when in mass. Each vessel above a freighter class carries an absurd and despicable amount of turbo laser turrets powerful enough to compete with our strongest battle cruisers. Some fleets have even spoken of cloaking technology and speed far surpassing any ships used by Separatists or us. Only some of our newer, more experimental models can barely keep up."
Master Sasee Tiin grunted. "Yes, and rumors about them have already begun to spread throughout the Republic, but most of all, the tire underworld. An unstoppable fleet of warships, one that can appear anywhere in the Galaxy at any time, wreak destruction with no survivors and then vanish without a trace. Some of the more paranoid civilians have already given these Empire a name: The Holy Empire, and the Sovereign fleet" he said, Master fay then spoke up next.
"Indeed, while the Malevolence was the first target to fall to the Saviors Fleet, it was far from the last. Representatives of the Black Sun syndicate have come to the Republic and separatists for help. It seems during the malevolence attack it was just the tip of the iceberg, the Syndicate has given evidence of dozens of worlds being surrounded by thousands of warships, a moon was even obliterated after the empire seemed to think it a lost cause, estimates of over fifty million killed across six sectors, it also appears that the Biotech Company of spinward has fully incorporated themselves with the empire, ensuring they have a foothold into the Galaxy, almost a hundred billion lives are being affected by this empire, so far fro what we've seen they have at least five to seven sector fleets,
Over the past week, the Fleets have struck out against several republic fleets, five separatists fleets. They have struck hidden outposts belonging to either the Republic or the Separatists and even the Hutt Empire. The second sighting of the Emperor's flagship had been an outpost near Rishi that, once destroyed, had left Kamino exposed to the possibility of invasion, we are trying to fix that hole, but we only have so much time.
If the clone troopers stationed hadn't sent out a distress signal before they were all killed, such an invasion might have indeed occurred already. Then there had been a previously concealed remote research station the Separatists had underneath the waters on Naboo.
The Emperor's flagship then showed up a day before Jedi were to be sent out and had completely disintegrated the research station and destroyed everything inside, including a reproduced strain of the infamous 'Blue Shadow' virus. They shot down republic ships that had fired upon them and left the system as fast as it came.
We still have no clues or leads about whether they were looking for something or taking a sample of the virus, as these attacks seem to be random. The Savior had even destroyed targets not explicitly aligned to either faction, such as having a squad of their own droids—now known as death eater droids—they have assaulted countless Republic holding cells on Coruscant under the nose of everyone.
They have even assassinated Ziro the Hutt and have the underground in fear of being the next to feel the wrath of the empire, and this has only been nine days after their first appearance, it seems this was planned far in advance" Fay spoke calmly, but anyone in the room could feel the uneasiness of what was happening.
It didn't take Obi-wan long to see what was happening and what this Emperor Dark sider was doing. He could see The Saviors fleet was using its greater size and speed to launch an ambush campaign against any secret high-value targets involved in and or around the war. The fact they control six mapped-out sectors on the edge of the northern wild space was even more concerning. Hypothetically they could have dozens of sectors of uncharted space under their control.
Each attack was specifically designed to create a level of destruction that would leave little to no evidence behind. The worst part was that this Emperor Savior had made sure that they left behind only dead bodies and pillaged husks of broken vessels as signs to prove that they were responsible and nothing more with each attack. They still hadn't received another message since the first one. He needed to check with Padme where her guard was as the armor both this dark lord wore bared a similar resemblance and used the same name, and he was not the only Jedi on the Council who saw the resemblance, it seems Mace windu's plans might get the green light.
The final report was from Master Adi Gallia. He said, "On a brighter note, the actions of Senator Amidala, with help from her Sith Guard." the Tholothian noted with distaste, "and Representative Revanchist has enabled Republic forces to capture Viceroy Nute Gunray of the Trade Federation. He is currently being brought here to Coruscant to stand trial." Yoda tilted his head about his fellow Jedi's thoughts on the senator's guard, but it soon turned into a smile.
"Very good, that is. With Gunray captured, senator Amidala's guard the Punisher, thank we must, for more information on Separatist movements, we might also obtain," he pointed out.
Gallia sighed discontentedly, shocking a few other Jedi, but she simply nodded. "I understand we must show gratitude, Grandmaster. However, we have no idea who he even is. I know it's not a popular opinion, but I fully believe he's the Emperor we are looking for" to this, she got a few disgruntled looks from Master Shakk Ti, who was currently in Hologram from Master Yoda, Master Plo Koon, Master Kit Fisto.
But on the other hand got a few welcoming looks from Masters Saesee Tinn, Mundi, Mace Windu, Oppo Rancisis, and Even Piell. The other masters present simply looked a though they didn't care or had no opinion on the matter.
"Don't give me that look, Master Ti. You and Master Fay have been tailing this guard for the past three weeks. You can't deny they have similarities...On the other note, considering how important that information, as well as the viceroy himself, are to both sides, we can't dismiss the possibility that the Savior's Empire will take this chance to assassinate him just as they did to Ziro the Hutt. As such, we've assigned additional Jedi to protect him until he makes it here," she explained. Windu grunted. "Then let us hope that they will be enough, now onto the Discussion of the Senate," he said. And on that, everyone on the Council groaned.
I hope you enjoyed the chapter.
In the next chapter, we will see how Christen did on Rodia with Padme and Nute Gunray. The next chapter has a lot more dialogue and more thought prosses of my character. Still, it's from a different perspective from usual.
See you in a few weeks.
